Abstract

La présente divulgation concerne une méthode de traitement de neurofibromes cutanés (NFC) chez des patients atteints de neurofibromatose de type 1 (NF1) à l'aide de talimogène laherparepvec (T-VEC), un vecteur de virus herpès simplex oncolytique 1 (oHSV1), à titre d'exemple illustratif. La méthode comprend l'administration à un sujet d'une quantité efficace de T-VEC, typiquement par injection intratumorale. La T-VEC est génétiquement modifiée pour améliorer la sélectivité tumorale et stimuler des réponses immunitaires antitumorales. Le traitement implique une dose initiale suivie de doses ultérieures à des intervalles spécifiés. Le procédé peut comprendre des administrations répétées et une combinaison avec des thérapies supplémentaires pour traiter NFc ou NF1. Cette approche offre une alternative potentielle non invasive aux traitements actuels des NFc chez les patients atteints de NF1.
