Abstract

径方向(RD)で並ぶステータ(500)とロータ(400)のいずれかに設けられる磁石(100)である。磁石は複数の配向(OR)を備える。複数の配向の構成要素の種類としては、径方向に沿う径配向成分(ORr)、ロータが運動する周方向(CD)に沿う周配向成分(ORc)、および、径方向と周方向に交差する軸方向(AD)に沿う軸配向成分(ORa)がある。複数の配向は軸配向成分を有している。

Description

モータ磁石、界磁子、および、モータ 関連出願の相互参照
 この出願は、2024年7月9日に日本に出願された特許出願第2024-110577号を基礎としており、基礎の出願の内容を、全体的に、参照により援用している。
 この明細書における開示は、モータ磁石、界磁子、および、モータに関する。
 特許文献1には、径方向で対向配置された回転子と固定子とを備える回転電機が記載されている。回転子は、周方向に並ぶ複数の永久磁石を有している。

 特許文献1に記載の永久磁石の磁束密度は、永久磁石の領域ごとに均一ではなく変化している。永久磁石の配向方向は、永久磁石の中心軸に対して反時計回り方向側に傾いている。
 係る構成により、固定子が作る磁束による永久磁石への影響が抑制されている。永久磁石の減磁耐力が向上されている。また、反時計回りのトルク特性が向上されている。
 しかしながら、特許文献1に記載の構成の場合、配向角度の反時計回り方向側への傾きのため、反時計回りと時計回りとではトルク特性が異なる。特定の方向における運動のしやすさ(運動特性)が配向に依存する、という問題がある。
 本開示の1つの目的は、減磁が抑制されるとともに、運動特性が配向に依存しがたいモータ磁石、界磁子、および、モータを提供することである。
 開示された態様は、第1方向で励磁子と並ぶ界磁子に設けられるモータ磁石であって、
 複数の配向を備え、
 複数の配向の構成要素の種類として、第1方向に沿う第1配向成分、励磁子と界磁子のいずれか一方が運動する第2方向に沿う第2配向成分、および、第1方向と第2方向に交差する第3方向に沿う第3配向成分があり、
 複数の配向は第3配向成分を有するモータ磁石。
 開示された態様は、第1方向で励磁子と並ぶ界磁子であって、
 励磁子と界磁子の一方が運動する第2方向に延びる延長磁石を備え、
 延長磁石に含まれる複数の磁極は複数の配向を有し、

 以下、図面を参照しながら本開示を実施するための複数の形態を説明する。先の形態で説明した事項に対応する部分には、後の形態において同一の参照符号を付して重複する説明を省略する場合がある。各形態において構成の一部のみを説明している場合、構成の他の部分については先の形態の説明を適用することができる。
 各形態で具体的に組み合わせが可能であることを明示している部分同士の組み合わせが可能である。また、特に組み合わせに支障が生じなければ、組み合わせが可能であることを明示していなくても、複数の形態同士、形態と変形例、および、複数の変形例同士を部分的に組み合せることも可能である。
 <第1実施形態>
 <モータ>
 図1に示すモータ100は磁石600を有する。係るモータ100は民生用、業務用、産業用、医療用などの製品に適用することができる。モータ100は、人や物などを移動させるモビリティ製品、物の生産や制御などに携わるロボット製品、電気などのエネルギーを生み出す設備などに適用することができる。その他、特に例示せずとも、モータ100は広く一般的な製品に適用することができる。モータ100は適用品の動力源として機能する。
 本実施形態のモータ100は複数相の交流モータである。モータ100は力行と回生とを行うことができる。モータ100はモータジェネレータとして活用することができる。なお、モータ100は回生を行えなくともよい。モータ100は直流モータやステッピングモータでもよい。
 以下においては、互いに直交の関係にある3方向を軸方向AD、径方向RD、周方向CDとする。軸方向ADと径方向RDは直線方向、周方向CDは円周方向である。ADはAxial Direction、RDはRadial Direction、CDはCircumferential Directionの略である。なお、周方向は回転方向と称することもできる。本実施形態では、径方向RDが第1方向、周方向CDが第2方向、軸方向ADが第3方向に相当する。
 また、軸方向ADに沿い、なおかつ、モータ100の中心を貫く線をモータ軸MAとする。MAはMotor Axisの略である。そして、特に断らない限り、以下においては、このモータ軸MAに交わり、なおかつ、直交する方向を、単に径方向RDと表記する。モータ軸MA周りの方向を、単に周方向CDと表記する。
 モータ100は、ハウジング200、シャフト300、ロータ400、および、ステータ500を有する。ハウジング200は金属材料を含んでいる。ハウジング200は筒形状である。ハウジング200の内壁面によって囲まれた空間に、シャフト300の少なくとも一部、ロータ400、および、ステータ500が収納されている。
 シャフト300はモータ軸MAに沿って軸方向ADに延びている。シャフト300はベアリングなどの軸受部材によりハウジング200に支持されている。シャフト300はハウジング200に対して回転可能となっている。シャフト300はモータ100の回転軸である。
 ロータ400はシャフト300に固定されている。シャフト300の中心とロータ400の中心をモータ軸MAが通っている。シャフト300とロータ400はモータ軸MAを回転中心として回転する。シャフト300とロータ400はハウジング200に対して相対的に回転する。
 ステータ500はハウジング200に固定されている。ステータ500の全体形状は環状になっている。このステータ500によって囲まれた空間をモータ軸MAが通っている。この空間にロータ400とシャフト300が設けられている。ステータ500はラジアルギャップを介して径方向RDでロータ400と並んでいる。
 以上に示したようには、ロータ400のほうがステータ500よりもモータ100の中心側に位置している。本実施形態のモータ100はインナーロータ型のラジアルモータとなっている。モータ100はブラシレスモータでもある。
 <ステータ>
 ステータ500は通電によって励磁される励磁子である。ステータ500は電機子と称することもできる。ステータ500はステータコア510とステータコイル520を有する。ステータコア510にステータコイル520が設けられている。このステータコイル520への通電によってステータ500が励磁される。
 ステータコア510は鉄心である。ステータコア510は軟磁性材料を含んでいる。ステータコア510にステータコイル520と磁石600で発生した磁束が通る。ステータコア510に、磁束の通り路である磁路(磁気回路)が形成される。
 ステータコア510はコア支持部530とコアティース540を有する。コア支持部530の全体形状は環状となっている。コア支持部530はハウジング200に直接的または間接的に固定されている。コア支持部530の外周面側は、自身の内周面側よりも径方向RDにおいてハウジング200側にある。コア支持部530の内周面側にコアティース540が連結されている。
 コアティース540はコア支持部530の内周面からモータ軸MAに向かって径方向RDに延びている。複数のコアティース540が周方向CDに並んでいる。このコアティース540にステータコイル520が巻きまわされている。ステータコイル520は電線である。本実施形態では、60本のコアティース540がコア支持部530に一体的に連結されている。これら60本のコアティース540にステータコイル520が分布巻きされている。なお、コアティース540の本数は上記例に限定されない。そして、コアティース540にステータコイル520が集中巻きされた構成を採用することもできる。
 <ロータ>
 ロータ400は界磁子である。ロータ400はロータコア410と磁石600を有する。ロータコア410に磁石600が設けられている。複数の磁石600が周方向CDに並んでいる。これら複数の磁石600によってロータ400の磁界が形成される。
 ロータコア410は金属材料によって形成されている。ロータコア410の少なくとも一部は軟磁性材料を含んでいる。
 ロータコア410は、軸連結部420、連結アーム430、および、磁石支持部440を有する。軸連結部420はシャフト300に固定されている。連結アーム430は軸連結部420と磁石支持部440とを連結している。磁石支持部440は複数の磁石600を支持している。
 図2と図3に示すように、軸連結部420は筒状になっている。この軸連結部420の内壁面によって区画された穴にシャフト300が挿通される。この挿通状態で、軸連結部420がシャフト300に固定されている。ロータ400がシャフト300に固定されている。図3では、軸連結部420と連結アーム430の境界と、連結アーム430と磁石支持部440の境界を破線で示している。
 連結アーム430は軸連結部420から磁石支持部440に向かって延びている。複数の連結アーム430は周方向CDに並んでいる。複数の連結アーム430の径方向RDの延長線上にモータ軸MAが位置している。連結アーム430の一端が軸連結部420の外周面に連結されている。連結アーム430の他端が磁石支持部440に連結されている。
 磁石支持部440の全体形状は環状となっている。この磁石支持部440の内周面に複数の連結アーム430の他端が連結されている。磁石支持部440の外周面に複数の磁石600が設けられている。複数の磁石600は接着剤などによって磁石支持部440に固定されている。
 磁石支持部440は軟磁性体である。そのために磁石支持部440を磁束が通る。磁石支持部440に磁路が形成される。磁石支持部440はバックコアである。磁石支持部440はヨークまたは継鉄と称することもできる。
 磁石600は永久磁石である。複数の磁石600が周方向CDに並んでいる。複数の磁石600は接着剤などによって連結されている。これら複数の磁石600によって、周方向CDに延びる延長磁石700が構成されている。延長磁石700は周方向CDで環状となっている。延長磁石700が磁石支持部440の外周面に設けられている。延長磁石700と磁石支持部440は同心円の関係になっている。
 <磁束と磁路>
 ステータコイル520に三相交流電力が供給されると、ステータ500から磁束が発生する。このステータ500から発せられる磁束とロータ400の延長磁石700から発せられる磁束、および、これらの周りにあるハウジング200などによって磁路が決定される。
 磁束はステータ500からロータ400に向かって流れた後、折り返して、ロータ400からステータ500に向かって流れる。主語を逆転して説明すれば、磁束はロータ400からステータ500に向かって流れた後、折り返して、ステータ500からロータ400に向かって流れる。ステータ500側ではコアティース540やコア支持部530などを磁束が通る。ロータ400側では延長磁石700や磁石支持部440などを磁束が通る。
 <磁石>
 以下、磁石600について詳説する。磁石600は磁性材料とその他の材料とを含んでいる。磁石600は焼結磁石、ボンド磁石などである。磁石600はモータ磁石に相当する。
 図2と図3に示すように磁石600は6面を有する。磁石600は周方向CDに延びた円弧形状になっている。磁石600は、径方向RDで離隔して並ぶ内面600aと外面600b、軸方向ADで離隔して並ぶ上面600cと下面600d、周方向CDで離隔して並ぶ第1側面600eと第2側面600fを有する。
 内面600aと外面600bは周方向CDに延びている。これらは円弧形状の曲面となっている。これらは同心円の関係になっている。内面600aのほうが外面600bよりも周方向CDの長さが短くなっている。内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離は、その測定位置が径方向RDに直交する方向で異なったとしても、同等となっている。ただし、内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離は、例えば、軸方向ADにおいて、上面600cと下面600dとの間の軸中央部600cd側へ、上面600cまたは下面600dから向かうにしたがって徐々に長くなる構成を採用することもできる。磁石600がモータ100に組付けられた状態において、内面600aはロータコア410側に位置し、外面600bはステータ500側に位置している。
 上面600cと下面600dは軸方向ADに直交する方向に延びている。上面600cと下面600dとは互いに平行に延びている。上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離は、その測定位置が軸方向ADに直交する方向で異なったとしても、同等となっている。ただし、上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離は、例えば、径方向RDにおいて内面600a側から外面600b側に向かうにしたがって長くなってもよいし、短くなってもよい。
 第1側面600eと第2側面600fは径方向RDに延びている。第1側面600eの延長線と第2側面600fの延長線とがモータ軸MAで交わっている。第1側面600eと第2側面600fの周方向CDの離隔距離は、径方向RDにおいてモータ軸MAから遠ざかるほど長くなっている。これら第1側面600eと第2側面600fは、内面600a、外面600b、上面600c、および、下面600dを介して連結されている。
 <配向>
 磁石600は配向ORを有する。配向ORは磁石600に含まれる磁性材料の磁化容易方向である。磁性材料は磁粉を含んでいる。磁性材料によって配向ORの分布が決定されている。配向ORは磁石配向と称することもできる。磁石600は異方性磁石と称することもできる。
 図面では、無数に点在する配向ORのうちの代表を白抜き矢印で示している。1つの磁石600に含まれる配向ORは無数に存在し得るが、便宜上、図面では所定の数だけ示している。実際の磁石600では、製造誤差などのため、配向ORの分布に多少の偏りが生じる可能性がある。しかしながら、図面では配向ORができるだけ均等に分布しているように示している。
 本実施形態では、1つの磁石600において点在する複数の配向ORの大きさがすべて同じである。複数の磁石600でも、配向ORの大きさが一定である。そのため、図面においても、複数の配向ORを示す矢印の長さを同等にしている。ただし、1つの磁石600に含まれる配向ORの大きさは異なっていてもよい。複数の磁石600の配向ORの大きさは異なっていてもよい。
 図4に、配向ORを説明するための三次元極座標を示す。周方向CDは円周方向である。しかしながら、図4では、1つの配向ORの測定個所を通る径方向RDと軸方向ADの交点の接線方向として、周方向CDを直線で示している。ほかの図面においても、代表とする径方向RDを示した場合、それに直交する円周方向の接線方向を周方向CDとして示している。
 配向ORは径方向RD、周方向CD、軸方向ADの3つの配向成分に分解することができる。径方向RDの配向成分として径配向成分ORrがある。周方向CDの配向成分として周配向成分ORcがある。軸方向ADの配向成分として軸配向成分ORaがある。これら3種類の配向成分が合成されると配向ORになる。これら3つの配向成分によって、配向ORの大きさと向き(角度)が決定される。本実施形態では、径配向成分ORrが第1配向成分、周配向成分ORcが第2配向成分、軸配向成分ORaが第3配向成分に相当する。
 配向ORの角度は方位角φと仰角θによって表される。方位角φは径方向RDと配向ORとの間の角度である。仰角θは軸方向ADと配向ORとの間の角度である。
 径方向RDと配向ORとが交差すると、これらによって2種類の角度が形成される。方位角φはこれら2種類の角度のうち大きさが小さいほうの角度である。方位角φの大きさは90°以下である。
 同様にして、軸方向ADと配向ORとが交差すると、これらによって2種類の角度が形成される。仰角θはこれら2種類の角度のうち大きさの小さいほうの角度である。仰角θの大きさは90°以下である。
 配向ORが仰角θを有する場合、配向ORは径方向RDから軸方向AD側に傾斜している。表現を変えれば、配向ORは軸方向ADから径方向RD側に傾斜している。配向ORが方位角φを有する場合、配向ORは、径方向RDから周方向CD側に傾斜している。表現を変えれば、配向ORは周方向CDから径方向RD側に傾斜している。
 配向ORの大きさをAとすると、以下の関係式が成立する。ORr=Asinθcosφ、ORc=Asinθsinφ、ORa=Acosθ。上記したように、本実施形態ではすべての配向ORの大きさが一定である。そのため、例えば、周配向成分ORcの大きさが一定である場合、径配向成分ORrが増大すれば軸配向成分ORaは減少する関係となっている。増減表現を逆転すると、径配向成分ORrが減少すれば軸配向成分ORaは増大する関係となっている。
 図2と図3では、無数にある径方向RDの1つの代表として、第1基準線LR1を一点鎖線で示している。無数にある周方向CDの1つの代表として、第2基準線LR2を一点鎖線で示している。無数にある軸方向ADの1つの代表として、第3基準線LR3を一点鎖線で示している。
 第1基準線LR1はモータ軸MAを通っている。第1基準線LR1は磁石600の内面600aと外面600bに対する法線である。第2基準線LR2は第1基準線LR1と直交している。第2基準線LR2は、周方向CDの第1基準線LR1との交点における接線である。第2基準線LR2はモータ軸MAから径方向RDに離隔しており、磁石600を通っている。第3基準線LR3は第1基準線LR1と直交している。第3基準線LR3はモータ軸MAから径方向RDに離隔しており、磁石600を通っている。第3基準線LR3は第1基準線LR1と第2基準線LR2の交点を通っている。
 第1基準線LR1と第2基準線LR2の交点に位置する配向ORの方位角φは、第1基準線LR1と配向ORのなす2種類の角度のうち大きさが小さいほうの角度である。第1基準線LR1と第3基準線LR3の交点に位置する配向ORの仰角θは、第3基準線LR3と配向ORのなす2種類の角度のうち大きさが小さいほうの角度である。
 <平面配向>
 図5に示すように、本実施形態の磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORは、軸方向ADに直交する平面において、平行の関係になっている。複数の配向ORはパラレル配向になっている。そのため、磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのうちの1つに沿う径方向RDに対して、他の配向ORも沿う構成となっている。
 本実施形態の磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのすべては、径配向成分ORrを有している。無数に存在し得る第1基準線LR1のうちの1つを唯一の基準線とすると、その唯一の基準線に沿う配向ORは周配向成分ORcを有していない。しかしながら、ほかの配向ORは周配向成分ORcを有している。
 <軸配向>
 図3と図6~図8に示すように、本実施形態の磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORの向きは、周方向CDに直交する平面において、軸方向ADで変化している。上面600c側での配向ORの向きは、上面600cから、軸方向ADにおける上面600cと下面600dとの間の軸中央部600cdへ向かっている。下面600d側での配向ORの向きは、下面600dから軸中央部600cdへ向かっている。
 そして、配向ORの仰角θの絶対値は、上面600c側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって大きくなっている。配向ORの仰角θの絶対値は、下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって大きくなっている。
 そのため、軸配向成分ORaは上面600c側よりも軸中央部600cd側のほうが小さくなっている。軸配向成分ORaは上面600c側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に小さくなっている。
 同様にして、軸配向成分ORaは下面600d側よりも軸中央部600cd側のほうが小さくなっている。軸配向成分ORaは下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に小さくなっている。
 これとは逆に、径配向成分ORrと周配向成分ORcとを合成した合成成分は、上面600c側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に大きくなっている。合成成分は下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に大きくなっている。
 径配向成分ORrに特化して言えば、径配向成分ORrは上面600c側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に大きくなっている。径配向成分ORrは下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって徐々に大きくなっている。
 上記したように複数の配向ORは軸方向ADに直交する平面においてパラレル配向になっている。係る構成のため、図5に示すVII-VII線を1つの基準線とすると、図7に示す配向ORは周配向成分ORcを有していない。これに対して、図6と図8に示す配向ORは周配向成分ORcを有している。
 また、図9において、磁石600の一部分を切り取るとともに、それらを径方向RDで二分し、その二分した領域の配向ORを白抜き矢印で示す。これに示すように、径方向RDで並ぶ配向ORの角度は同等となっている。
 複数の配向ORは、軸方向ADに直交し、上面600cと下面600dとの間のちょうど中心位置でモータ100を軸方向ADに2つに分断する対称平面を基準として、軸方向ADにおいて対称となっている。これにより、上面600c側と下面600d側とで磁石600から発生される磁束の分布に偏りが生じ難くなっている。
 本実施形態では、配向ORの仰角θの絶対値は0°または90°の値を取らない。径配向成分ORrと軸配向成分ORaはゼロとはならない。本実施形態の磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのすべては、径配向成分ORrと軸配向成分ORaを有している。
 以上に示した複数の配向ORの向きのため、磁石600が延長磁石700としてモータ100に組み込まれた状態において、延長磁石700と磁石支持部440の両方を通る磁束が減少し、延長磁石700のみを通る磁束が増大する。また、磁石600の軸中央部600cd側の磁束密度が増大する。この軸中央部600cdが径方向RDでステータ500と対向する。
 なお、本実施形態では、上記した軸中央部600cdを上面600cと下面600dとの間のちょうど中心位置を示している。軸中央部600cdとロータ400の磁気中心MCの軸方向ADの位置は一致している。しかしながら、軸中央部600cdは上面600cと下面600dとの間であり、軸方向ADにおいてあまり上面600c側ではなく、あまり下面600d側ではないことを示す概念である。そのため、軸中央部600cdは上面600cと下面600dとの間のちょうど中心位置そのものだけを示してもよいし、中心位置そのものだけを示さなくともよい。
 軸中央部600cdは軸方向ADにおいてある程度幅を持ってもよい。その幅としては、例えば、磁石600の軸方向ADの長さの数十分の1~1/3でもよい。このように軸中央部600cdが軸方向ADに幅を有する場合、軸中央部600cdには、上面600cと下面600dとの間のちょうど中心位置が含まれる。このように軸中央部600cdが幅を有する場合、その幅を有する範囲は軸中央部600cd側と表現してもよい。なお、後述する径中央部600ab、側中央部600efにおいても、同様の位置であってもよいし、幅を有してもよい。これらは図面において一点鎖線で示している。
 また、上面600c側、下面600d側とは、軸方向ADにおいてある程度幅を持ってもよい。その幅は、例えば、磁石600の軸方向ADの長さの数十分の1~1/3である。これは、内面600a側、外面600b側、第1側面600e側、第2側面600f側においても同様である。
 <配向成分と回転トルク>
 上記したように、本実施形態の磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのすべては、径配向成分ORrと軸配向成分ORaを有する。複数の配向ORの一部が周配向成分ORcを有する。
 ロータ400は径方向RDでステータ500と対向しており、その回転方向が周方向CDになっている。係る構成において、ロータ400に付与される回転トルクは径配向成分ORrと周配向成分ORcに依存する。周配向成分ORcはロータ400の特定の回転方向の運動のしやすさ(運動特性)を決定する。軸配向成分ORaは回転トルクの生成に寄与しない。また、ステータ500から発せられる磁束によって、ロータ400に設けられた磁石600は減磁の影響を受けるが、その影響を受けやすいのは径配向成分ORrである。周配向成分ORcと軸配向成分ORaとはステータ500から発せられる磁束による減磁の影響を受けがたくなっている。
 時計回りと反時計回りでの運動特性が周配向成分ORcによって異なるようになることを避けるため、1つの磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORの周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均は、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均よりも小さくなっている。主語を入れ替えて表現すれば、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均は、周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きくなっている。巨視的に、端的に言えば、1つの磁石600において、軸配向成分ORaの方が周配向成分ORcよりも大きくなっている。
 <配向の変形例>
 1つの磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORの向きとしては、これまでに説明した構成例に限定されない。
 例えば、複数の配向ORは径配向成分ORrと軸配向成分ORaを有し、周配向成分ORcを有さなくともよい。係る構成の場合、周配向成分ORcがゼロになる。単純に、軸配向成分ORaは周配向成分ORcよりも大きくなる。
 また、局所的には、軸配向成分ORaは周配向成分ORcよりも小さくともよい。局所的に、軸配向成分ORaはゼロでもよい。係る変形例においては、複数の配向ORの備える軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均が周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きければよい。
 さらに言えば、ロータ400の回転トルクを得ることができるように、複数の配向ORに径配向成分ORrが含まれていれば、局所的に、径配向成分ORrがゼロでもよい。
 <配向の測定>
 以上に示した配向ORの向きは、以下の方法で測定可能である。例えば、測定者は、モータ100に含まれる磁石600を測定対象として取り出す。そして、測定者は、例えば、その測定対象の磁束を測定し、磁気回路解析によって磁路の特定を行う。係る特定により、配向ORの向きを推定することができる。
 測定者は、電子後方散乱回折を用いて、配向ORの向きを測定してもよい。電子後方散乱回折はEBSDと称することもできる。電子後方散乱回折は、磁石600の結晶方位を測定する方法である。電子後方散乱回折により、磁化容易軸の方向(磁化容易方向)を定量評価することができる。すなわち、配向ORの方向を定量評価することができる。以上に示したように、配向ORの向きは、磁気回路解析による磁路の特定、電子後方散乱回折による磁化容易軸の方向の定量評価によって測定することができる。
 <相加平均の評価>
 1つの磁石600には無数の配向ORが存在する。係る配向ORのすべてを厳密に測定して、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均と周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均とを算出することは現実的には不可能である。そのため、これら相加平均については、以下の方法で推定する。
 1つの磁石600を周方向CDにおいて例えば10分割する。そして、それらを、軸方向ADにおいてさらに10分割する。こうすることで磁石600を100個に分割する。そして、その分割面に現れる周配向成分ORcと軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均を算出する。両者を比較することで、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均と周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均の大小関係を推定する。
 なお、分割数は一例に過ぎない。配向成分に大きな変化がみられるのであれば分割数を増加してもよいし、大きな変化がみられないのであれば分割数を減少してもよい。また、分割間隔は等しくともよいし、等しくなくともよい。1つの磁石600の配向ORの傾向を評価するのに適した分割間隔、分割数であれば、特にそれらの評価条件は限定されない。
 <N磁石とS磁石>
 上記したように磁石600を備えるロータ400はステータ500と対向している。図1~図3に示すように、磁石600としては、ロータ400とステータ500との対向方向における配向ORの向きが逆向きの関係にあるN磁石600NとS磁石600Sがある。N磁石600Nの配向ORはステータ500に向かい、モータ軸MAから離れる方向となっている。S磁石600Sの配向ORはステータ500から遠ざかり、モータ軸MAに向かう方向となっている。
 <磁石環状部>
 上記したように延長磁石700は周方向CDに並ぶ複数の磁石600を有する。本実施形態の延長磁石700は10個の磁石600を有する。延長磁石700は5個のN磁石600Nと5個のS磁石600Sを有している。周方向CDで隣り合う2つの磁石600は、N磁石600NとS磁石600Sになっている。これらN磁石600NとS磁石600Sとが周方向CDで1つずつ交互に並んでいる。延長磁石700は磁極を10個有する。
 周方向CDで隣接して並ぶN磁石600NとS磁石600Sのうちの一方の第1側面600eと、他方の第2側面600fとが隣接している。これら第1側面600eと第2側面600fとの間に接着剤が介在されている。しかしながら、この接着剤は薄い。そのため、これら第1側面600eと第2側面600fとは実質的に周方向CDで接触している、と表現することができる。
 なお、図示しないが、延長磁石700はN磁石600NとS磁石600Sのうちの一方だけを備えてもよい。係る構成の場合、延長磁石700はN磁石600NとS磁石600Sのうちの一方のほかに、疑似極としての機能を果たす軟磁性体を備える。例えば、延長磁石700が複数のN磁石600Nを有する場合、周方向CDで隣り合って並ぶ2つのN磁石600Nの間に1つの軟磁性体が設けられる。主語を入れ替えて表現すれば、周方向CDで隣り合って並ぶ2つの軟磁性体の間に1つのN磁石600Nが設けられる。この軟磁性体は磁石支持部440と一体でもよいし、別体でもよい。
 延長磁石700は、径方向RDで離隔して並ぶ延長内面700aと延長外面700b、軸方向ADで離隔して並ぶ延長上面700cと延長下面700dを有する。延長内面700a、延長外面700b、延長上面700c、および、延長下面700dは環状となっている。
 延長内面700aは周方向CDで連なる複数の磁石600の内面600aによって構成されている。延長外面700bは周方向CDで連なる複数の磁石600の外面600bによって構成されている。延長上面700cは複数の磁石600の上面600cによって面一に構成されている。延長下面700dは複数の磁石600の下面600dによって面一に構成されている。なお、厳密に言えば、以上に示した延長磁石700の表面は、複数の磁石600の表面のほか、複数の磁石600を連結する接着剤などによっても構成されている。
 延長内面700aと延長外面700bのいずれも円弧形状の曲面となっている。これらは同心円の関係になっている。延長内面700aのほうが延長外面700bよりも周方向CDの長さが短くなっている。延長内面700aと延長外面700bの径方向RDの離隔距離は、その測定位置が周方向CDと軸方向ADで異なったとしても、同等となっている。ただし、延長内面700aと延長外面700bの径方向RDの離隔距離は、例えば、軸方向ADにおいて、延長上面700cと延長下面700dとの間の中央部側へ、延長上面700cまたは延長下面700dから向かうにしたがって徐々に長くなる構成を採用することもできる。
 延長磁石700がモータ100に組付けられた状態において、延長内面700aはロータコア410側に位置し、延長外面700bはステータ500側に位置している。延長外面700bを構成する複数の外面600bの軸中央部600cd側が、軸方向ADにおいてステータ500と対向している。本実施形態では、延長外面700bの全面が径方向RDにおいてステータ500と対向している。延長外面700bの軸方向ADの磁気中心MCと、ステータ500の軸方向ADの磁気中心MCとが径方向RDで並んでいる。MCはMagnetic Coreの略である。
 延長上面700cと延長下面700dは軸方向ADに直交する方向に延びている。延長上面700cと延長下面700dとは互いに平行に延びている。延長上面700cと延長下面700dの軸方向ADの離隔距離は、その測定位置が軸方向ADに直交する方向で異なったとしても、同等となっている。ただし、延長上面700cと延長下面700dの軸方向ADの離隔距離は、例えば、径方向RDにおいて延長内面700a側から延長外面700b側へ向かうにしたがって長くなってもよいし、短くなってもよい。
 延長磁石700を構成する複数の磁石600は軸方向ADに延びている。本実施形態では、軸方向ADにおいて複数の磁石600が並んでいない。ただし、複数の磁石600が軸方向ADに並んだ構成を採用することもできる。
 本実施形態では、磁石600が延長磁石700の最小構成要素になっている。別体である複数の磁石600によって延長磁石700が構成されている。1つの磁石600が延長磁石700に含まれる複数の磁極のうちの1つを構成している。しかしながら、係る構成に限定されない。延長磁石700の最小構成要素としては、本実施形態で示す磁石600よりも小さくとも、大きくともよい。例えば、最小構成要素が磁石600の半分でもよいし、2つ分でもよい。延長磁石700の1つの磁極が複数の磁石600によって構成されてもよいし、複数の磁極が1つの磁石600によって構成されてもよい。
 延長磁石700は複数の磁石600が連結されて製造されるのではなく、環状を成す1つの磁石材料から製造されてもよい。係る構成の場合、延長内面700aは1つの磁石600の内面600aによって構成される。延長外面700bは1つの磁石600の外面600bによって構成される。延長上面700cは1つの磁石600の上面600cによって構成される。延長下面700dは1つの磁石600の下面600dによって構成される。そして、延長磁石700に含まれる複数の磁極の配向ORは、本実施形態で説明した1つの磁石600の配向ORと同等となる。
 <作用効果>
 磁石600の備える複数の配向ORは軸配向成分ORaを有している。これによれば、配向ORが径配向成分ORrのみを有する構成と比べて、磁石600の減磁が抑制される。また、減磁対策として配向ORが周配向成分ORcのみを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の運動特性(回転特性)が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。
 複数の配向ORは軸配向成分ORaと周配向成分ORcを有している。このように、軸配向成分ORaと周配向成分ORcで減磁対策が図られている。そのため、減磁対策として配向ORが周配向成分ORcのみを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。配向ORのため、特定の回転方向に回転しやすかったり、回転しがたかったりすることが抑制される。配向ORのため、モータ100が時計回りよりも反時計回りに回転しやすかったり、反時計回りよりも時計回りに回転しやすかったりすることが抑制される。
 複数の配向ORの軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均は、周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きくなっている。このように、磁石600では、減磁の抑制とロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することを抑制するための軸配向成分ORaと周配向成分ORcの関係性となっている。そのため、係る関係性を意図せずに、単に磁石600が軸配向成分ORaを有する構成とは異なり、減磁の抑制と回転特性の配向ORの依存抑制という2つの作用効果を効果的に奏するモータ100を設計することが容易になる。
 複数の配向ORのすべてが軸配向成分ORaを有している。これによれば、局所的に、軸配向成分ORaによる減磁抑制のない領域が磁石600に生じることが抑制される。局所的に、減磁した領域が磁石600に生じることが抑制される。
 上面600c側または下面600d側よりも、これらの間の軸中央部600cd側の方が、径配向成分ORrが大きく、なおかつ、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなっている。これによれば、磁石600の軸方向ADにおける軸中央部600cd側から発生される磁束の密度を高めることができる。起動トルク、定格トルク、最大トルクなどのトルク特性の向上を図ることができる。
 このように、磁石600の軸方向ADにおける軸中央部600cd側から発生される磁束の密度を高めることができる構成の場合、ステータ500の軸方向ADの長さを磁石600の軸方向ADの長さよりも短くしてもよい。すなわち、ステータ500の軸方向ADの長さを延長磁石700の軸方向ADの長さよりも短くしてもよい。
 係る構成になると、延長磁石700から発せられる磁束をステータ500に集中させやすくなる。この結果、トルク特性の向上を効果的に図ることができる。
 複数の配向ORは、軸方向ADに直交し、上面600cと下面600dとの間の中心を分断する対称平面を基準として、軸方向ADで対称となっている。これによれば、トルク特性の向上を図ることができる。
 <第2実施形態>
 本実施形態では、第1実施形態と異なる点を中心に説明する。以降、他の実施形態においても、先に説明をした実施形態とは異なる点を中心に説明する。他の実施形態において特に説明しない構成、作用、効果は、先に説明した実施形態と同様である。
 第1実施形態では、内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離が、その測定位置が周方向CDと軸方向ADで異なったとしても同等となっている例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離は、その測定位置が周方向CDで異なったとしても同等となっているものの、測定位置が軸方向ADで異なると変化している。
 図10に示すように、上面600cから軸中央部600cdに向かうにしたがって、内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離が徐々に長くなっている。同様にして、下面600dから軸中央部600cdに向かうにしたがって、内面600aと外面600bの径方向RDの離隔距離が徐々に長くなっている。簡単に言えば、磁石600の径方向RDの厚みが、軸方向ADの端部側から中央部側に向かうにしたがって徐々に厚くなっている。係る厚みの増大の結果、磁石600の中央部側は端部側よりも磁路が長くなっている。
 このように径方向RDの厚みが変化するものの、ステータ500と径方向RDで対向する外面600bは径方向RDに直交している。その代わり、内面600aは径方向RDに対して傾斜している。この内面600aの傾斜と同様の斜面によって形作られる支持窪み441が磁石支持部440に形成されている。
 また、本実施形態では、第1実施形態と同様にして、上面600cから軸中央部600cdに向かうにしたがって径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなっている。同様にして、下面600dから軸中央部600cdに向かうにしたがって、径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなっている。
 このように、本実施形態では、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなるほど、磁石600の径方向RDの厚みが増している。換言すれば、軸配向成分ORaによる減磁対策が減じるほど、磁石600の径方向RDの厚みの増大による減磁対策が増大している。磁石600の磁路の延長による減磁対策が増大している。係る構成のため、局所的に、磁石600において減磁が生じることが抑制されている。
 なお、本実施形態では、上面600cまたは下面600dから軸中央部600cdに向かうにしたがって、径方向RDの厚みが徐々に厚くなる例を示した。しかしながら、磁石600における径方向RDの厚みの態様は上記例に限定されない。
 磁石600の径方向RDの厚みの増加の変化率は、徐々にでもよいし、断続的でもよい。径方向RDの厚みの変化率については、特に限定されない。厚みの増加率と、軸配向成分ORaの減少率とが同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。
 なお、厚みの増加率と軸配向成分ORaの減少率とが等しいとは、製造誤差の範囲内で等しいことを示している。また、厚みによる減磁抑制と軸配向成分ORaによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、厚みの増加率と軸配向成分ORaの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。
 さらに言えば、図10において白抜き矢印の長さで示すように、磁石600の径方向RDの厚みが増すほどに、軸配向成分ORaが径配向成分ORrに比べて小さくなるとともに、配向ORの大きさそのものが増大してもよい。
 <第3実施形態>
 第2実施形態では、磁石600の厚みの調整によって減磁対策をした例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、磁石600の保磁力の調整によって減磁対策をする。
 図11と図12に示すように、磁石600は複数の磁石片610を有する。本実施形態では、磁石片610として、第1磁石片611、第2磁石片612、第3磁石片613がある。これらは軸方向ADに順に並んでいる。
 第1磁石片611は磁石600の上面600c側を構成している。第2磁石片612は磁石600の軸中央部600cd側を構成している。第3磁石片613は磁石600の下面600d側を構成している。このように、第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613は軸方向ADにおける磁石600の端側を構成している。第2磁石片612は軸方向ADにおける磁石600の中央側を構成している。
 第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613は同一の材料で形成されている。そのため、これらの保磁力は同一になっている。これに対して、第2磁石片612は第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613とは異なる材料で形成されている。このように、磁石600は材料の点で異なる、複数種類の磁石片610によって構成されている。
 第2磁石片612は第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613よりも保磁力が高くなっている。その反面、第2磁石片612の軸配向成分ORaは第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613の軸配向成分ORaよりも小さくなっている。このように、軸配向成分ORaは磁石片610の保磁力が高いほどに小さくなっている。
 そのため、磁石600の保持力は軸方向ADで変化する。係る保持力の変化例を図13と図14に示す。なお、本実施形態の場合、磁石600が3つの磁石片610によって構成されている。そのため、図13と図14に示すように、滑らかに保持力が変化するわけではない。図面に記載のCFはCoercive Forceの略である。
 以上に示したように、本実施形態では、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなるほど、磁石片610の保磁力が高くなっている。換言すれば、軸配向成分ORaによる減磁対策が減じるほど、磁石片610の保磁力の高さによる減磁対策が増大している。係る構成のため、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されている。
 なお、本実施形態では磁石600が3つの磁石片610によって構成された例を示した。しかしながら磁石600を構成する磁石片610の数としては複数であればよい。磁石片610の数は2つでも、4つ以上でもよい。
 磁石片610の種類として2種類を示した。しかしながら、磁石片610の種類としては上記例に限定されない。磁石片610の種類としては3つ以上でもよい。
 また、保磁力の異なる磁石片610を組み合わせることによる、保磁力の増加の変化率は、特に限定されない。製造誤差の範囲内において、保磁力の増加率と、軸配向成分ORaの減少率とが同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。
 保磁力による減磁抑制と軸配向成分ORaによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、保磁力の増加率と軸配向成分ORaの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。さらに言えば、第2実施形態で示した構成を組み合わせることで、磁石600の厚み調整、保磁力調整、および、軸配向成分ORaによって減磁対策をしてもよい。
 <第4実施形態>
 本実施形態では、図15と図16に示すように、複数の配向ORは軸方向ADに直交する平面においてラジアル配向となっている。すなわち、磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORは、その配向ORを通る径方向RDに沿っている。係る構成では、複数の配向ORの周配向成分ORcはゼロになる。そのため、ロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することが効果的に抑制される。なお、本構成においては、図16に一点鎖線で示す、場所が周方向CDで異なる3つのXVII-XVII線で切った断面図のいずれにおいても、図17に示すように、配向ORが同一となる。
 <第5実施形態>
 本実施形態では、図18~図20に示すように、複数の配向ORは軸方向ADに直交する平面において極異方配向となっている。図21に示すように、第1側面600eから、周方向CDにおける第1側面600eと第2側面600fとの間の側中央部600ef側に向かうにしたがって、径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、周配向成分ORcが小さくなっている。同様にして、第2側面600fから側中央部600ef側に向かうにしたがって、径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、周配向成分ORcが小さくなっている。これによれば、磁石600内の磁路が長くなる。そのために減磁が抑制されやすくなる。
 本実施形態の配向ORは、図20に示すように複数の配向ORの仰角θが一律同一となっている。しかしながら、上記したように軸方向ADに直交する平面において極異方配向となっている。そのため、周方向CDで異なる、径方向RDに沿う線で切った断面に現れるORの向きは、図22~図24に示すように変化する。配向ORの方位角φが変化する。
 なお、本実施形態では複数の配向ORの仰角θが同一となっている。しかしながら、同一を意図して製造しても、実際には、製造誤差などのため、厳密には同一にはならない。本書に記載の同一とは、係る製造誤差などの範囲内において等しいことを意味している。
 図20に示すように、仰角θを有限としつつ、一定とする場合、磁石600の上面600c側と下面600d側とで、磁石600から発せられる磁界に疎密が生じる。その結果、ロータ400の構造中心SCと磁気中心MCとが軸方向ADにおいてずれる。そのため、ロータ400の磁気中心MCとステータ500の磁気中心MCとが径方向RDで並ぶように、ロータ400を軸方向ADに沿って移動させてもよい。SCはStructure
 Centerの略である。
 図20に示す構成の場合、ロータ400の磁気中心MCは、構造中心SCから上面600c側に移動する。そのため、ステータ500の位置を不動として、ロータ400を軸方向ADにおいて上面600cから下面600dに向かう方向に移動させることで、ロータ400の磁気中心MCとステータ500の磁気中心MCとが径方向RDで並ぶ構成としてもよい。係る構成の場合、ロータ400の軸方向ADにおける上面600c側の直上にスペースができる。このスペースを有効活用することができる。
 そして、図25に示すように、磁石600の上面600c側と下面600d側とにテーパ600gを設けてもよい。係るテーパ600gにより上面600cと下面600dとが傾斜している。磁石600の周方向CDに直交する平面の形状が平行四辺形となっている。下面600d側の磁石600の体積が減り、上面600c側の磁石600の体積が増えている。図25では、この体積の増減のある個所を破線で囲って示すとともに、それにテーパ600gの符号を付与している。下面600dの径方向RDへの投影領域に磁石支持部440が位置しているが、上面600cの径方向RDへの投影領域に磁石支持部440が位置しなくなっている。
 係る構成において、図25において簡易的に示すステータ500と、磁石600の外面600bとが径方向RDで対向配置される。ロータ400の磁気中心MCとステータ500の磁気中心MCとが径方向RDで並ぶ。係る構成によれば、磁石600においてトルクに寄与しない領域が削減される。
 <第6実施形態>
 本実施形態では、図26に示すように、上面600c側または下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって、配向ORの仰角θの絶対値が大きくなるとともに、軸中央部600cd側において仰角θの絶対値が90°になっている。軸中央部600cd側の複数の配向ORの軸配向成分ORaがゼロになっている。
 <第7実施形態>
 本実施形態では、図27に示すように、周方向CDに直交する平面において配向ORは極異方配向となっている。軸方向ADにおいて、上面600c側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって、径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなっている。同様にして、軸方向ADにおいて、下面600d側から軸中央部600cd側へ向かうにしたがって、径配向成分ORrが大きくなるとともに、軸配向成分ORaが小さくなっている。これによれば、磁石600内の磁路が長くなる。そのために減磁が抑制されやすくなる。
 例示するまでもないが、本実施形態においては、図28に示すように、軸方向ADに直交する平面において配向ORが極異方配向の構成を採用することもできる。
 <第8実施形態>
 本実施形態では、図29に示すように、ロータ400は、ロータコア410の代わりに支持部450を有する。支持部450は樹脂などの非磁性材料を含んでいる。支持部450は延長磁石700を支持するとともに、この延長磁石700をシャフト300に連結する機能を果たす。なお、本実施形態の構成は特に配向ORの構成が限定されないので、図29では配向ORの図示を省略している。
 <第9実施形態>
 第1実施形態では、モータ100がインナーロータ型のラジアルモータである例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、図30に示すように、モータ100がアウターロータ型のラジアルモータである。なお、本実施形態の構成は特に配向ORの構成が限定されないので、図30では配向ORの図示を省略している。また、ハウジング200とシャフト300の図示を省略している。
 図30に示すように、ロータ400よりもステータ500のほうがモータ100の中心側に位置している。ロータ400はステータ500よりも径方向RDにおいてモータ軸MAから離隔している。
 ロータ400の全体形状は環状となっている。磁石支持部440の内周面に複数の磁石600が設けられている。環状の延長磁石700が構成されている。延長磁石700によって囲まれた空間をモータ軸MAが通っている。この空間にステータ500が設けられている。ロータ400はラジアルギャップを介して径方向RDでステータ500と並んでいる。
 コア支持部530は環状となっている。コア支持部530の外周面にコアティース540が連結されている。コアティース540はコア支持部530の外周面からロータ400に向かって径方向RDに延びている。複数のコアティース540が周方向CDに並んでいる。これら複数のコアティース540にステータコイル520が巻きまわされている。
 <第10実施形態>
 第1実施形態では、ステータ500が励磁子であり、ロータ400が界磁子である例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、ロータ400が励磁子であり、ステータ500が界磁子である。図31と図32に示すように、ロータ400ではなくステータ500が磁石600を有している。ロータ400は磁石600の代わりにロータコイル470を有している。なお、本実施形態の構成は特に配向ORの構成が限定されないので、図31では配向ORの図示を省略している。ただし、ステータ500側で形成される磁束を示すため、図32では配向ORを図示している。また、ハウジング200の図示を省略している。
 ステータコア510はコア支持部530を有する。コア支持部530は軟磁性材料を含んでいる。コア支持部530は環状となっている。コア支持部530の内周面に複数の磁石600が設けられている。コア支持部530は第1実施形態で説明した磁石支持部440と磁路の形成において同様の機能を果たす。
 複数の磁石600によって環状の延長磁石700が構成されている。この延長磁石700によって囲まれた空間にロータ400が設けられている。
 ロータコア410は軸連結部420とロータティース460を有する。軸連結部420は環状となっている。軸連結部420の外周面にロータティース460が連結されている。ロータティース460は軸連結部420からステータ500に向かって延びている。ロータティース460の径方向RDの延長線上にモータ軸MAが位置している。複数のロータティース460は周方向CDに並んでいる。これら複数のロータティース460にロータコイル470が巻きまわされている。このロータコイル470へ通電されると、ロータ400が励磁される。図32では軸連結部420とロータティース460との境を破線で示している。
 以上に示したように、本実施形態のモータ100は、インナーロータ型のラジアルモータである。ただし、本実施形態のモータ100は、第8実施形態で説明したアウターロータ型のラジアルモータにも採用することができる。
 <第11実施形態>
 これまでの実施形態ではモータ100がラジアルモータである例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、モータ100がアキシャルモータである。径方向RDが第3方向、周方向CDが第2方向、軸方向ADが第1方向に相当する。径配向成分ORrが第3配向成分、周配向成分ORcが第2配向成分、軸配向成分ORaが第1配向成分に相当する。
 ラジアルモータとアキシャルモータとの大きな相違は、ロータ400とステータ500の対向方向である。ラジアルモータではロータ400とステータ500とが径方向RDで対向する。これに対して、アキシャルモータでは図33と図34に示すように、ロータ400とステータ500とが軸方向ADで対向する。なお、図33と図34はアキシャルモータにおけるロータ400とステータ500の要部の配置を説明するための図である。そのために図33と図34ではアキシャルモータの構成要素の一部の図示を省略している。
 係る大きな相違があるため、これまでに説明したラジアルモータの構成を本実施形態のアキシャルモータの構成に適用する場合、ラジアルモータにおける径方向RDの特徴が、アキシャルモータにおける軸方向ADの特徴に転用される。ラジアルモータにおける軸方向ADの特徴が、アキシャルモータにおける径方向RDの特徴に転用される。
 配向ORに特化して説明すれば、ラジアルモータの径配向成分ORrの特徴は、アキシャルモータの軸配向成分ORaの特徴に転用される。ラジアルモータの軸配向成分ORaの特徴は、アキシャルモータの径配向成分ORrの特徴に転用される。ただし、ラジアルモータとアキシャルモータのいずれも、周配向成分ORcの特徴は同等になっている。以下、本実施形態のモータ100の構成を概説する。
 図35に示すように、ハウジング200は底板210と側壁220を有する。底板210は軸方向ADの厚みの薄い板形状となっている。底板210は軸方向ADで並ぶ内底面と外底面とを有する。この内底面から側壁220が立脚している。側壁220は底板210の内底面の全域を囲むように、環状をなしている。この底板210と側壁220とによって囲まれた空間に、シャフト300の一部、ロータ400、および、ステータ500が収納されている。このハウジング200の内部で、ロータ400とステータ500とがアキシャルギャップを介して軸方向ADで並んでいる。なお、底板210には内底面と外底面とを軸方向ADに貫通する穴が形成されている。この底板210の穴をシャフト300が通っている。
 ステータコア510のコア支持部530の全体形状は円盤形状となっている。コア支持部530は、環状の側壁220の先端側によって区画されたハウジング200の開口を閉塞している。
 コア支持部530は軸方向ADで並ぶ2つの第1主面と第2主面を有する。コア支持部530には、これら第1主面と第2主面とを軸方向ADに貫通する穴が形成されている。このコア支持部530の穴をシャフト300が通っている。第1主面は第2主面よりも軸方向ADにおいてハウジング200の底板210側に位置している。この第1主面にコアティース540が連結されている。
 コアティース540はコア支持部530から底板210に向かって軸方向ADに延びている。コア支持部530に形成された穴を囲うように、複数のコアティース540が周方向CDに並んでいる。これら複数のコアティース540にステータコイル520が巻きまわされている。
 ロータコア410の軸連結部420の全体形状は円盤形状となっている。軸連結部420は軸方向ADに並ぶ支持面とその裏面とを有する。軸連結部420には、これら支持面と裏面とを軸方向ADに貫通する穴が形成されている。この穴にシャフト300が挿通された状態で、軸連結部420がシャフト300に固定されている。
 ロータ400がハウジング200に収納された状態で、軸連結部420の裏面のほうが支持面よりもハウジング200の底板210側に位置している。軸連結部420の支持面のほうが裏面よりもステータ500側に位置している。この支持面に複数の磁石600が設けられている。本実施形態の軸連結部420は磁石600を支持する機能も果たす。
 複数の磁石600は、軸連結部420に形成された穴を囲うように、周方向CDで環状に並んでいる。これによって環状の延長磁石700が構成されている。この延長磁石700の延長上面700cが延長下面700dよりも軸連結部420の支持面側に位置している。延長下面700dは延長上面700cよりもステータ500側に位置している。延長磁石700とステータコイル520の巻きまわされた複数のコアティース540とが軸方向ADで並んでいる。
 図35に示すように、本実施形態の1つの磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORは、周方向CDに直交する平面において、平行の関係になっている。複数の配向ORはパラレル配向になっている。
 本実施形態ではロータ400は大きさの等しい4個の磁石600を有する。N磁石600NとS磁石600Sとが交互に周方向CDに並んでいる。そのため、図35に示すように、径方向RDで同極の磁石600が並んでいる。径方向RDで2つのN磁石600Nが並んでいる。径方向RDで2つのS磁石600Sが並んでいる。なお、ロータ400が有する磁石600の数によっては、異極の磁石600が径方向RDで並ぶ。例えばロータ400が10個の磁石600を有する場合、N磁石600NとS磁石600Sが径方向RDで並ぶ。
 これら周方向CDで並ぶ複数の磁石600の配向ORの仰角θは、図35に示すように、シャフト300を中心として、2回対称となっている。すなわち、延長磁石700の配向ORの仰角θは、シャフト300を中心として、2回対称となっている。
 1つの磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのすべては、軸配向成分ORaと径配向成分ORrを有し、周配向成分ORcを有していない。本実施形態では、複数の配向ORのすべての仰角θ、方位角φが同等になっている。
 以上に示した構成のため、配向ORが軸配向成分ORaのみを有する構成と比べて、磁石600の減磁が抑制される。また、減磁対策として配向ORが周配向成分ORcを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。複数の配向ORのすべてが径配向成分ORrを有するので、局所的に、径配向成分ORrによる減磁抑制のない領域が磁石600に生じることが抑制される。
 なお、第1実施形態で詳説したように、本実施形態のアキシャルモータにおいても、配向ORは種々変化させることができる。
 例えば、複数の配向ORのすべては、軸配向成分ORaと径配向成分ORrだけではなく、周配向成分ORcを有してもよい。また、局所的には、径配向成分ORrは周配向成分ORcよりも小さくともよい。局所的に、径配向成分ORrはゼロでもよい。係る変形例においては、複数の配向ORの備える径配向成分ORrの絶対値の相加平均が周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きければよい。
 この変形例では、径配向成分ORrと周配向成分ORcで減磁対策が図られている。そのため、減磁対策として配向ORが周配向成分ORcのみを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。
 複数の配向ORの径配向成分ORrの絶対値の相加平均は、周配向成分ORcの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きくなっている。このように、磁石600では、減磁の抑制とロータ400の回転特性が配向ORに依存することを抑制するための径配向成分ORrと周配向成分ORcの関係性となっている。そのため、係る関係性を意図せずに、単に磁石600が径配向成分ORrを有する構成とは異なり、減磁の抑制と回転特性の配向ORの依存抑制という2つの作用効果を効果的に奏するモータ100を設計することが容易になる。
 さらに変形例を例示すれば、ロータ400の回転トルクを得ることができるように、複数の配向ORに軸配向成分ORaが含まれていれば、局所的に、軸配向成分ORaがゼロでもよい。
 周方向CDに直交する平面における、1つの磁石600の配向ORは、パラレル配向、アキシャル配向でもよい。内面600aから、内面600aと外面600bとの間の径中央部600ab側へ向かうにしたがって、配向ORの仰角θの絶対値が大きくなってもよいし、小さくなってもよい。外面600bから径中央部600ab側へ向かうにしたがって、配向ORの仰角θの絶対値が大きくなってもよいし、小さくなってもよい。配向ORは、軸方向ADに直交する平面、周方向CDに直交する平面のいずれにおいても、極異方配向でもよい。
 図36に、周方向CDに直交する平面において極異方配向であることを簡易的に示す。係る構成では、径方向RDで並ぶ2つの領域の極異方配向が、2つの領域を径方向RDで分断する境を対称中心として対称形状となっている。
 なお、アキシャルモータには、ロータ400とステータ500のうち少なくとも一方が複数設けられてもよい。例えば、モータ100はロータ400を2つ有してもよい。2つのロータ400の間にステータ500が設けられてもよい。係る構成は、ダブルロータ式のモータと称することもできる。また、モータ100はステータ500を2つ有してもよい。2つのステータ500の間にロータ400が設けられてもよい。係る構成は、ダブルステータ式のモータと称することもできる。このようにアキシャルモータがロータ400とステータ500のうち少なくとも一方を複数有する構成では、回転トルクを向上することができる。
 本実施形態では、アキシャルモータにおいて、ステータ500が励磁子であり、ロータ400が界磁子である例を示した。しかしながら、特には図示しないが、アキシャルモータにおいても、ロータ400が励磁子であり、ステータ500が界磁子である構成を採用することもできる。
 <第12実施形態>
 第10実施形態では、図35に示すように、上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離が、その測定位置が周方向CDと径方向RDで異なったとしても同等となっている例を示した。これに対して本実施形態では、図37に示すように、上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離は、その測定位置が周方向CDで異なったとしても同等となっているものの、測定位置が径方向RDで異なると変化している。
 内面600aから径中央部600abに向かうにしたがって、上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離が徐々に長くなっている。同様にして、外面600bから径中央部600abに向かうにしたがって、上面600cと下面600dの軸方向ADの離隔距離が徐々に長くなっている。簡単に言えば、磁石600の軸方向ADの厚みが、径方向RDの端部側から中央部側に向かうにしたがって徐々に厚くなっている。
 このように軸方向ADの厚みが変化するものの、ステータ500と軸方向ADで対向する下面600dは軸方向ADに直交している。その代わり、上面600cは軸方向ADに対して傾斜している。この上面600cの傾斜と同様の斜面によって形作られる窪み421が、軸連結部420に形成されている。
 そして、本実施形態では、内面600aから径中央部600abに向かうにしたがって軸配向成分ORaが大きくなるとともに、径配向成分ORrが小さくなっている。同様にして、外面600bから径中央部600abに向かうにしたがって、軸配向成分ORaが大きくなるとともに、径配向成分ORrが小さくなっている。複数の配向ORは、径方向RDに直交し、内面600aと外面600bとの間の中心を径方向RDで分断する対称平面を基準として、径方向RDで対称となっている。
 このように、本実施形態では、径配向成分ORrが小さくなるほど、磁石600の軸方向ADの厚みが増している。換言すれば、径配向成分ORrによる減磁対策が減じるほど、磁石600の軸方向ADの厚みの増大による減磁対策が増大している。このため、局所的に、磁石600において減磁が生じることが抑制されている。
 なお、本実施形態では、内面600aまたは外面600bから径中央部600abに向かうにしたがって、軸方向ADの厚みが徐々に厚くなる例を示した。しかしながら、磁石600における軸方向ADの厚みの態様は上記例に限定されない。
 磁石600の軸方向ADの厚みの増加の変化率は、徐々にでもよいし、断続的でもよい。軸方向ADの厚みの変化率については、特に限定されない。厚みの増加率と径配向成分ORrの減少率とは、製造誤差の範囲内で、同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。
 また、厚みによる減磁抑制と径配向成分ORrによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、厚みの増加率と径配向成分ORrの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。
 <第13実施形態>
 本実施形態では、第3実施形態と同様にして、磁石600の保磁力の調整によって減磁対策をする。
 図38に示すように、磁石600を構成する第1磁石片611、第2磁石片612、第3磁石片613が径方向RDに順に並んでいる。第1磁石片611は磁石600の内面600a側を構成している。第2磁石片612は磁石600の径中央部600ab側を構成している。第3磁石片613は磁石600の外面600b側を構成している。第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613は径方向RDにおける磁石600の端側を構成している。第2磁石片612は径方向RDにおける磁石600の中央側を構成している。
 第2磁石片612は第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613よりも保磁力が高くなっている。この反面、第2磁石片612の径配向成分ORrは第1磁石片611と第3磁石片613の径配向成分ORrよりも小さくなっている。このように、径配向成分ORrは磁石片610の保磁力が高いほどに小さくなっている。径配向成分ORrによる減磁対策が減じるほど、磁石片610の保磁力の高さによる減磁対策が増大している。
 なお、製造誤差の範囲内において、保磁力の増加率と、径配向成分ORrの減少率とが同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。保磁力の高さによる減磁抑制と径配向成分ORrによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、保磁力の増加率と径配向成分ORrの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。さらに言えば、磁石600の厚み調整、保磁力調整、および、径配向成分ORrによって減磁対策をしてもよい。
 <第14実施形態>
 これまでの実施形態ではモータ100が回転運動する例を示した。これに対して、本実施形態のモータ100は直線運動するリニアモータである。
 以下においては、本実施形態を説明するため、径方向RD、周方向CD、軸方向ADのほかに、新たな横方向LDを定義する。LDはLateral Directionの略である。横方向LDは径方向RDと軸方向ADとに直交する、直線方向である。
 配向ORの配向成分は、新たに定義した横方向LDを周方向CDの代わりに用いることで、3つに分解することができる。配向ORは、図4に示すように、径配向成分ORr、軸配向成分ORa、および、横方向LDに沿う横配向成分ORlの3つに分解することができる。
 径方向RDが第1方向、軸方向ADが第2方向、横方向LDが第3方向に相当する。径配向成分ORrが第1配向成分、軸配向成分ORaが第2配向成分、横配向成分ORlが第3配向成分に相当する。
 ラジアルモータとリニアモータとの大きな相違は、ロータ400の運動である。ラジアルモータではロータ400が周方向CDに回転運動する。これに対して、リニアモータではロータ400が軸方向ADに直線運動する。
 係る大きな相違があるため、ラジアルモータの構成を本実施形態のリニアモータの構成に適用する場合、ラジアルモータにおける周方向CDの特徴が、リニアモータにおける軸方向ADの特徴に転用される。
 配向ORに特化して説明すれば、ラジアルモータの周配向成分ORcの特徴は、リニアモータの軸配向成分ORaの特徴に転用される。ラジアルモータの軸配向成分ORaの特徴は、リニアモータの横配向成分ORlの特徴に転用される。ただし、ラジアルモータとリニアモータのいずれも、径配向成分ORrの特徴は同等になっている。以下、本実施形態のモータ100の構成を概説する。
 図39に示すように、ロータ400とステータ500はラジアルギャップを介して径方向RDで並んでいる。モータ100はシャフト300の代わりに直線運動軸800を有する。ロータ400はこの直線運動軸800に連結されている。直線運動軸800はステータ500に対して軸方向ADに移動可能になっている。本実施形態の径方向RDは、軸方向ADに直交するとともに、ロータ400とステータ500とが並ぶ方向である。そのため、径方向RDは並び方向と言い換えることもできる。
 直線運動軸800は径方向RDに直交する方向で平らになっている。直線運動軸800の延長方向が軸方向ADになっている。直線運動軸800の軸幅方向が横方向LDになっている。直線運動軸800は径方向RDよりも横方向LDに長くなっている。
 ステータコア510のコア支持部530は軸方向ADに延びている。このコア支持部530の軸方向ADに延びる一面にコアティース540が連結されている。コアティース540は径方向RDに延長している。複数のコアティース540が軸方向ADに並んでいる。これら複数のコアティース540にステータコイル520が巻きまわされている。
 ロータコア410の軸連結部420は軸方向ADに延びている。この軸連結部420の軸方向ADに延びる一面に複数の磁石600が設けられている。その裏面側が直線運動軸800に連結されている。軸連結部420は支持部450の機能も果たす構成となっている。複数の磁石600とコアティース540とは、ラジアルギャップを介して径方向RDで並んでいる。
 なお、ロータコア410がなく、複数の磁石600が直線運動軸800に搭載された構成を採用することもできる。このような変形例の場合、直線運動軸800はロータコア410と同様にして磁路を形成する機能を果たす。
 複数の磁石600は、円弧形状ではなく、直方体形状となっている。これら複数の磁石600は軸方向ADに沿って直線上に複数並べられている。軸方向ADで並ぶ2つの磁石600の一方の上面600cと他方の下面600dとが軸方向ADで隣り合っている。
 本実施形態では、複数の磁石600が直線状に連結されることで、延長磁石700が構成されている。延長磁石700は線状になっている。なお、延長磁石700では、軸方向ADで隣り合う2つの磁石600が軸方向ADで離れていてもよい。2つの磁石600の間に隙間があってもよい。そのため、延長磁石700の表面は飛び飛びに配置された複数の磁石600の表面によって構成されてもよい。
 図39と図40に示すように、1つの磁石600に含まれる複数の配向ORのすべては、径方向RD、軸方向AD、および、横方向LDに傾斜している。複数の配向ORのすべては径配向成分ORr、軸配向成分ORa、横配向成分ORlを有している。ただし、複数の配向ORの横配向成分ORlの絶対値の相加平均は、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きくなっている。本実施形態では、複数の配向ORのすべての仰角θ、方位角φが同等になっている。
 以上に示した構成のため、配向ORが径配向成分ORrのみを有する構成と比べて、磁石600の減磁が抑制される。また、減磁対策として配向ORが軸配向成分ORaのみを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の運動特性(直線運動特性)が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。
 横配向成分ORlと軸配向成分ORaで減磁対策が図られている。そのため、減磁対策として配向ORが軸配向成分ORaのみを有する構成と比べて、ロータ400の直線運動特性が配向ORに依存することが抑制される。配向ORのため、特定の方向に直線運動しやすかったり、直線運動しがたかったりすることが抑制される。
 複数の配向ORの横配向成分ORlの絶対値の相加平均は、軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きくなっている。このように、磁石600では、減磁の抑制とロータ400の直線運動特性が配向ORに依存することを抑制するための横配向成分ORlと軸配向成分ORaの関係性となっている。そのため、係る関係性を意図せずに、単に磁石600が横配向成分ORlを有する構成とは異なり、減磁の抑制と直線運動特性の配向ORの依存抑制という2つの作用効果を効果的に奏するモータ100を設計することが容易になる。
 なお、これまでの実施形態で示したラジアルモータとアキシャルモータとで詳説したように、本実施形態のリニアモータにおいても、配向ORは種々変化させることができる。
 例えば、複数の配向ORは径配向成分ORrと横配向成分ORlを有し、軸配向成分ORaを有さなくともよい。係る構成の場合、軸配向成分ORaがゼロになる。単純に、横配向成分ORlは軸配向成分ORaよりも大きくなる。
 また、局所的には、横配向成分ORlは軸配向成分ORaよりも小さくともよい。局所的に、横配向成分ORlはゼロでもよい。係る変形例においては、複数の配向ORの備える横配向成分ORlの絶対値の相加平均が軸配向成分ORaの絶対値の相加平均よりも大きければよい。
 さらに言えば、ロータ400の直線運動の推進力を得ることができるように、複数の配向ORに径配向成分ORrが含まれていれば、局所的に、径配向成分ORrがゼロでもよい。
 軸方向ADに直交する平面、および、横方向LDに直交する平面における、1つの磁石600の配向ORは、パラレル配向、アキシャル配向、極異方配向でもよい。いずれにおいても、端側から中央側に向かうにしたがって、配向ORの角度の絶対値が大きくなってもよいし、小さくなってもよい。
 また、ロータ400とステータ500とが軸方向ADに延びる例を示した。係る構成において、さらに、ロータ400とステータ500が軸方向ADの周りの周方向CDに延びることで、モータ100が円筒形状を成してもよい。係る構成の場合、ステータ500によって囲まれた空間内にロータ400が設けられる。ロータ400はステータ500によって囲まれた空間内を軸方向ADに移動する。
 本実施形態では、リニアモータにおいて、ステータ500が励磁子であり、ロータ400が界磁子である例を示した。しかしながら、特には図示しないが、リニアモータにおいても、ロータ400が励磁子であり、ステータ500が界磁子である構成を採用することもできる。
 <第15実施形態>
 第2実施形態と第12実施形態で説明したように、配向ORによる減磁対策と、磁石600の厚みによる減磁対策の両方を行ってもよい。もう詳しくは説明しないが、例えば、図41に示すように、横配向成分ORlによる減磁対策が減少するにしたがって、磁石600の径方向RDの厚みを横方向LDで増大してもよい。
 本実施形態では、第1側面600eと第2側面600fとの間の側中央部600efへと、第1側面600eまたは第2側面600fから向かうにしたがって、径方向RDの厚みが増大している。磁石600の径方向RDの厚みが、横方向LDの端部側から中央部側に向かうにしたがって徐々に厚くなっている。
 このように径方向RDの厚みが変化するものの、ステータ500と径方向RDで対向する外面600bは径方向RDに直交している。その代わり、内面600aは径方向RDに対して傾斜している。この内面600aの傾斜と同様の斜面によって形作られる窪み421が、軸連結部420に形成されている。
 そして、複数の配向ORは、横方向LDに直交し、上面600aと下面600bとの間の中心を横方向LDで分断する対称平面を基準として、横方向LDで対称となっている。
 なお、製造誤差の範囲内において、径方向RDの厚みの増加率と、横配向成分ORlの減少率とが同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。径方向RDの厚みによる減磁抑制と横配向成分ORlによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、厚みの増加率と横配向成分ORlの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。
 <第16実施形態>
 第3実施形態と第13実施形態で説明したように、配向ORによる減磁対策と、磁石600の保磁力による減磁対策の両方を行ってもよい。もう詳しくは説明しないが、例えば、図42に示すように、横配向成分ORlによる減磁対策が減少するにしたがって、磁石600の保磁力を増大してもよい。
 なお、製造誤差の範囲内において、保磁力の増加率と、横配向成分ORlの減少率とが同等の振る舞いを示してもよい。保磁力の高さによる減磁抑制と横配向成分ORlによる減磁抑制とに効果の差がある場合、磁石600において局所的に減磁が生じることが抑制されるように、保磁力の増加率と横配向成分ORlの減少率とに差を設けてもよい。さらに言えば、磁石600の厚み調整、保磁力調整、および、横配向成分ORlによって減磁対策をしてもよい。
 <他の実施形態>
 この明細書の開示は、例示された実施形態に制限されない。開示は、例示された実施形態と、それらに基づく当業者による変形態様を包含する。例えば、開示は、実施形態において示された部品、要素の組み合わせに限定されず、種々変形して実施することが可能である。開示は、多様な組み合わせによって実施可能である。開示は、実施形態に追加可能な追加的な部分をもつことができる。開示は、実施形態の部品、要素が省略されたものを包含する。開示は、一つの実施形態と他の実施形態との間における部品、要素の置き換え、または組み合わせを包含する。開示される技術的範囲は、実施形態の記載に限定されない。開示される技術的範囲は、請求の範囲の記載によって示され、さらに請求の範囲の記載と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更を含むものと解されるべきである。
 <磁石の材料>
 第1実施形態において、磁石600は磁粉とその他の材料とを含んでいる例を示した。この磁粉とその他の材料としては、適用されるモータ100の性能を満足させるものであれば適宜採用することができる。採用した磁粉とその他の材料の組み合わせによって生じる特性を磁石600が備えることになる。係る特性を備えた磁石600が、モータ100に採用される。なお、磁粉以外のその他の材料は、磁石600に含まれなくともよい。モータ100がボンド磁石である場合、磁粉以外のその他の材料は、樹脂材料などである。
 磁粉としては、成分にレアアースが含まれるレアアース磁粉、成分にレアアースが含まれないレアアースフリー磁粉を採用することができる。磁粉には少なくとも1種類のレアアース磁粉が含まれてもよい。磁粉には少なくとも1種類のレアアースフリー磁粉が含まれてもよい。磁粉には少なくとも1種類のレアアース磁粉と、少なくとも1種類のレアアースフリー磁粉と、が含まれてもよい。
 磁石600の性能として、小型軽量化と改良容易性の少なくとも一方を要求される場合、磁粉の粒径は細かいほうがよい。磁粉の粒径としては、マイクロスケール、ナノスケールを採用することができる。係る微細な磁粉を用いることで、配向ORの設計自由度が高められる。材料調達容易性とリサイクル高効率を要求される場合、磁粉の成分は簡素で潤沢であるとともに、レアアースを含有しないことが望ましい。過酷な状況下での使用に耐えることを要求される場合、磁粉は、高耐熱性、放射線耐性などを備えていることが望ましい。
 以上に例示した、ナノスケール、簡素で潤沢な成分、レアアースフリー、高耐熱性、放射線耐性などの特性を備える磁粉を含有するモータ磁石は、概して係る磁粉の特性を備えることが期待される。そのため、係る磁粉を含有するモータ磁石は、小型軽量、改良容易、材料調達容易、リサイクル高効率、高耐熱、放射線耐性などの特性を備えることが期待される。係るモータ磁石は広くモータ全般に採用することができる。それとともに、係るモータ磁石は、その特性を求められる、ある特定の小規模な技術分野のモータにも採用することができる。
 なお、もちろんではあるが、モータ100に採用される磁石600は、その用途に応じた出力を求められる。磁石600に含まれる磁粉としては、その用途に応じた出力を出すことの期待される磁粉を採用することができる。
 磁石600に採用することのできる、一般的な磁石の種類としては、フェライト磁石などのセラミック磁石、希土類磁石や規則合金磁石などの金属磁石、ゴム磁石やプラスチック磁石などのボンド磁石がある。
 フェライトとしては、バリウムフェライト、ストロンチウムフェライトなどの六方晶フェライト、コバルトフェライトなどのスピネルフェライトがある。希土類としては、Sm-CoなどのR-T系、Nd-Fe-BなどのR-T-B系、Sm-Fe-NなどのR-T-N系がある。規則合金としては、L10-FePt、L10-FeNi、τ-MnAlなどがある。その他、金属磁石の金属材料としては、アルニコやFe-Cr-Coなどのスピノーダル分解系、Fe16N2がある。なお、上記のRはRare earthの略であり、Nd,Sm、Dyなどである。TはTransition metalの略であり、Fe、Co、Niなどがある。
 <モータの適用品>
 第1実施形態の冒頭において、モータ100の適用は特に限定されず、例えば、モビリティ製品、ロボット製品、電気などのエネルギーを生み出す設備などに適用することができることを示した。
 このモビリティ製品としては、陸の移動手段としての車、空の移動手段としての航空機、水上の移動手段としての船舶、水中の移動手段としての潜水艇や潜水艦、宇宙空間での移動に用いられる宇宙機などがある。
 これら陸、空、水、宇宙での移動手段には、有人機と無人機が含まれる。車には、有人自動車と無人自動車が含まれる。物の搬送に特化して言えば、車には、有人搬送車と無人搬送車が含まれる。無人搬送車は、AGVと称することもできる。AGVは、Automated Guided Vehicleの略称である。航空機には、有人航空機と無人航空機が含まれる。無人航空機は、UAVと称することもできる。UAVは、Unmanned Aerial Vehicleの略称である。物の運航に特化して言えば、船舶には、有人運航船と無人運航船が含まれる。潜水艇や潜水艦には、有人潜水機と無人潜水機が含まれる。宇宙機には、有人宇宙機と無人宇宙機が含まれる。有人宇宙機は、宇宙船と称することもできる。
 これら有人機と無人機を含む移動手段の動力源には、例えば、熱エネルギー、電気エネルギー、光エネルギー、再生可能エネルギー、化学エネルギー、核エネルギーなどの種々エネルギーが採用される。移動手段の動力源には、種々エネルギーのうちの1つ、または、複数の組み合わせが採用される。
 ロボット製品としては、用途別で表現すると、産業用ロボット、工業用ロボット、家庭用ロボット、サービスロボット、医療ロボット、教育ロボット、農業ロボット、探査ロボット、レジャーロボットなどがある。
 エネルギーを生み出す設備としては発電所が考えられる。発電所は、石油、石炭、天然ガス、バイオマス、原子力、風力、水力、地熱、太陽光、化学反応などのエネルギー源を利用して電気エネルギーを生み出す設備である。
 <技術的思想の開示>
 この明細書は、以下に列挙する複数の項に記載された複数の技術的思想を開示している。いくつかの項は、後続の項において先行する項を択一的に引用する多項従属形式(a multiple dependent form)により記載されている場合がある。さらに、いくつかの項は、他の多項従属形式の項を引用する多項従属形式(a multiple dependent form referring to another multiple dependent form)により記載されている場合がある。これらの多項従属形式で記載された項は、複数の技術的思想を定義している。
 <技術的思想1>
 第1方向(RD、AD)で励磁子(500,400)と並ぶ界磁子(400,500)に設けられるモータ磁石であって、

 複数の前記配向の前記第3配向成分の絶対値の相加平均は、前記第2配向成分の絶対値の相加平均よりも大きい技術的思想1に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想3>
 複数の前記配向のすべてが前記第3配向成分を有する技術的思想1または技術的思想2に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想4>
 複数の前記配向は、前記第3配向成分だけではなく、前記第1配向成分も有し、
 前記第3方向における2つの端部(600c、600d、600a、600b、600e、600f)側よりも、2つの前記端部側の間の中央部(600cd、600ab、600ef)側の方が、前記第1方向に沿う配向成分が大きく、なおかつ、前記第3方向に沿う配向成分が小さい技術的思想1~3のいずれか1項に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想5>
 複数の前記配向は、前記第3方向に直交し、前記中央部を分断する対称平面を基準として、前記第3方向において対称となっている技術的思想4に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想6>
 前記第3方向に沿う配向成分が小さいほど、前記第1方向の長さが長くなっている技術的思想1~5のいずれか1項に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想7>
 保磁力の異なる複数種類の磁石片(611,612,613)を有し、
 複数の前記磁石片は前記第3方向で並んでおり、
 複数の前記磁石片の前記第3配向成分は、保磁力が高いほどに小さい技術的思想1~6のいずれか1項に記載のモータ磁石。
 <技術的思想8>
 第1方向(RD、AD)で励磁子(500、400)と並ぶ界磁子であって、
 前記励磁子と前記界磁子の一方が運動する第2方向(CD、AD)に延びる延長磁石(700)を備え、
 前記延長磁石に含まれる複数の磁極(600)は複数の配向(OR)を有し、
 複数の前記配向の構成要素の種類として、前記第1方向に沿う第1配向成分(ORr、ORa)、前記第2方向(CD、AD)に沿う第2配向成分(ORc、ORa)、および、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に交差する第3方向(AD、RD、LD)に沿う第3配向成分(ORa、ORr、ORl)があり、
 複数の前記配向は前記第3配向成分を有する界磁子。

 前記第3方向における前記界磁子の磁気中心と前記励磁子の磁気中心とが前記第1方向で並んでいる技術的思想10に記載のモータ。
 <技術的思想12>
 前記第1方向は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれかの設けられる回転軸(300)に沿う軸方向(AD)であり、
 前記第2方向は、前記回転軸周りの周方向(CD)であり、
 前記第3方向は、前記回転軸に直交する径方向(RD)である技術的思想9に記載のモータ。
 <技術的思想13>
 前記周方向に延びる前記延長磁石の前記配向の角度は、前記回転軸を中心として、2回対称となっている技術的思想12に記載のモータ。
 <技術的思想14>
 前記第1方向は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれかの設けられる直線運動軸(800)に直交する径方向(RD)であり、
 前記第2方向は、前記直線運動軸に沿う軸方向(AD)であり、
 前記第3方向は、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に直交する横方向(LD)である技術的思想9に記載のモータ。

Claims (14)

  1.  第1方向(RD、AD)で励磁子(500,400)と並ぶ界磁子(400,500)に設けられるモータ磁石であって、
     複数の配向(OR)を備え、
     複数の前記配向の構成要素の種類として、前記第1方向に沿う第1配向成分(ORr、ORa)、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれか一方が運動する第2方向(CD、AD)に沿う第2配向成分(ORc、ORa)、および、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に交差する第3方向(AD、RD、LD)に沿う第3配向成分(ORa、ORr、ORl)があり、
     複数の前記配向は前記第3配向成分を有するモータ磁石。
  2.  複数の前記配向の前記第3配向成分の絶対値の相加平均は、前記第2配向成分の絶対値の相加平均よりも大きい請求項1に記載のモータ磁石。
  3.  複数の前記配向のすべてが前記第3配向成分を有する請求項1または請求項2に記載のモータ磁石。
  4.  複数の前記配向は、前記第3配向成分だけではなく、前記第1配向成分も有し、
     前記第3方向における2つの端部(600c、600d、600a、600b、600e、600f)側よりも、2つの前記端部側の間の中央部(600cd、600ab、600ef)側の方が、前記第1方向に沿う配向成分が大きく、なおかつ、前記第3方向に沿う配向成分が小さい請求項1または請求項2に記載のモータ磁石。
  5.  複数の前記配向は、前記第3方向に直交し、前記中央部を分断する対称平面を基準として、前記第3方向において対称となっている請求項4に記載のモータ磁石。
  6.  前記第3方向に沿う配向成分が小さいほど、前記第1方向の長さが長くなっている請求項1または請求項2に記載のモータ磁石。
  7.  保磁力の異なる複数種類の磁石片(611,612,613)を有し、
     複数の前記磁石片は前記第3方向で並んでおり、
     複数の前記磁石片の前記第3配向成分は、保磁力が高いほどに小さい請求項1または請求項2に記載のモータ磁石。
  8.  第1方向(RD、AD)で励磁子(500、400)と並ぶ界磁子であって、
     前記励磁子と前記界磁子の一方が運動する第2方向(CD、AD)に延びる延長磁石(700)を備え、
     前記延長磁石に含まれる複数の磁極(600)は複数の配向(OR)を有し、
     複数の前記配向の構成要素の種類として、前記第1方向に沿う第1配向成分(ORr、ORa)、前記第2方向(CD、AD)に沿う第2配向成分(ORc、ORa)、および、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に交差する第3方向(AD、RD、LD)に沿う第3配向成分(ORa、ORr、ORl)があり、
     複数の前記配向は前記第3配向成分を有する界磁子。
  9.  第1方向(RD、AD)で並ぶ励磁子(500,400)と界磁子(400,500)とを備え、
     前記界磁子は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子の一方が運動する第2方向(CD、AD)に延びる延長磁石(700)を有し、
     前記延長磁石に含まれる複数の磁極(600)は複数の配向(OR)を有し、
     複数の前記配向の構成要素の種類として、前記第1方向に沿う第1配向成分(ORr、ORa)、前記第2方向(CD、AD)に沿う第2配向成分(ORc、ORa)、および、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に交差する第3方向(AD、RD、LD)に沿う第3配向成分(ORa、ORr、ORl)があり、
     複数の前記配向は前記第3配向成分を有するモータ。
  10.  前記第1方向は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれかの設けられる回転軸(300)に直交する径方向(RD)であり、
     前記第2方向は、前記回転軸周りの周方向(CD)であり、
     前記第3方向は、前記回転軸に沿う軸方向(AD)である請求項9に記載のモータ。
  11.  前記界磁子が前記回転軸に設けられ、
     前記第3方向において前記界磁子の構造中心(SC)と磁気中心(MC)とがずれており、
     前記第3方向における前記界磁子の磁気中心と前記励磁子の磁気中心とが前記第1方向で並んでいる請求項10に記載のモータ。
  12.  前記第1方向は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれかの設けられる回転軸(300)に沿う軸方向(AD)であり、
     前記第2方向は、前記回転軸周りの周方向(CD)であり、
     前記第3方向は、前記回転軸に直交する径方向(RD)である請求項9に記載のモータ。
  13.  前記周方向に延びる前記延長磁石の前記配向の角度は、前記回転軸を中心として、2回対称となっている請求項12に記載のモータ。
  14.  前記第1方向は、前記励磁子と前記界磁子のいずれかの設けられる直線運動軸(800)に直交する径方向(RD)であり、
     前記第2方向は、前記直線運動軸に沿う軸方向(AD)であり、
     前記第3方向は、前記第1方向と前記第2方向に直交する横方向(LD)である請求項9に記載のモータ。
