Definitions

  • This application relates to the field of seat belt technology, and in particular to a seat belt buckle, seat, and vehicle.
  • a seat belt typically includes a belt body, a buckle, and a buckle.
  • the buckle is threaded through the belt body and engages with the buckle.
  • the belt body restrains the occupants while they are seated.
  • a seatbelt buckle that includes a housing and a light guide.
  • the light guide has a light-emitting section that surrounds the housing circumferentially.
  • the light-emitting section is prone to uneven brightness at different locations.
  • This application provides a seat belt buckle, a seat, and a vehicle, which can make the light emission section of the light guide on the seat belt buckle more uniform.
  • a first aspect of this application provides a seatbelt buckle, which includes a housing, a light guide fixing member, a first light guide, and a light source.
  • the housing includes a plug-in end located at one end of the housing in a first direction.
  • the plug-in end has an open structure, and the light source is disposed within the housing.
  • the light guide fixing member is disposed at the plug-in end and is fixedly connected to the housing.
  • the light guide fixing member includes a first portion and a second portion, which are used to enclose a mounting opening communicating with the inner cavity of the housing.
  • the first light guide includes a first light emitting section and a first light guiding section. One end of the first light guiding section is connected to one end of the first light emitting section, and the other end of the first light guiding section faces the light source. The light source emits light into the first light guiding section at the end opposite to the first light emitting section. The first light emitting section is disposed in the first portion. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.
  • the seatbelt buckle provided in this application embodiment has a smaller circumferential dimension in the first part of the housing. This allows for a shorter length of the first light-emitting segment within the first part, resulting in less light loss during propagation and improving the uniformity of light emission from the first light-emitting segment. Furthermore, the fewer corners in the first part reduce the number of corners in the first light-emitting segment, further minimizing light loss and improving the uniformity of light emission. Additionally, fewer corners in the first light-emitting segment also reduce its likelihood of breakage, minimizing light leakage due to breakage and further enhancing the uniformity of light emission.
  • the number of bends in the first light-emitting segment is less than or equal to two. This results in less light loss during propagation within the first light-emitting segment, and also reduces the risk of breakage in the first light-emitting segment.
  • the first part includes side sections extending at both ends along a second direction, with the side sections located on the side of the mounting opening facing a third direction.
  • a first light-emitting section is disposed on the side sections.
  • One of the second and third directions is the width direction of the housing, and the other is the height direction of the housing.
  • the third direction is perpendicular to both the second and first directions. This allows for a shorter length and fewer corners in the first light-emitting section, which helps improve the uniformity of light emission from the first light-emitting section.
  • At least a portion of the first part is a light-transmitting area, and a first light-emitting segment is disposed in the light-transmitting area, with the first light-emitting segment located on the side of the first part facing the inner cavity of the housing.
  • the first part can protect the first light-emitting segment, making it less susceptible to damage from impacts.
  • the first part has a snap-fit structure on the side facing the inner cavity of the housing, and the first light-emitting segment is snapped into the snap-fit structure. This facilitates the connection between the first light-emitting segment and the first part.
  • the first portion has a socket that communicates with the inner cavity of the housing.
  • a first light-emitting segment is positioned near the socket, facilitating the emission of light by indicating the location of the socket.
  • the second part has a socket plate that connects to the inner cavity of the housing.
  • the arrangement of the first light-emitting section is not limited by the socket plate, allowing for more flexible arrangement of the first light-emitting section.
  • the first part and the second part are separate structures.
  • the first part and the second part are respectively fixedly connected to the housing. In this way, the degree of bending required when the light guide is assembled onto the light guide fixing component is minimized, and the light guide is less likely to break during the assembly process.
  • the seatbelt buckle further includes a second light guide.
  • the second light guide includes a second light emitting section and a second light guiding section, with the second light emitting section connected to the second light guiding section, and the second light emitting section is located in the second part. This allows for a larger light-emitting area on the light guide fixing member, facilitating illumination around the insertion slot. Furthermore, both the first and second light emitting sections are relatively short in length and have fewer corners, resulting in more uniform light emission from both sections.
  • one end of the second light-guiding section is connected to one end of the second light-emitting section, and the other end of the second light-guiding section and the end of the first light-guiding section away from the first light-emitting section face the same light source.
  • the light source injects light into the end of the first light-guiding section away from the first light-emitting section and the end of the second light-guiding section away from the second light-emitting section.

  • the first portion is located on one side of the first and second light-blocking portions in a third direction
  • the second portion is located on the other side of the first and second light-blocking portions in the third direction.
  • the first portion, the first light-blocking portion, the second portion, and the second light-blocking portion surround and form a mounting opening. In this way, the first and second light-blocking portions can block the light emitted by the first and second light-emitting segments to form two non-light-emitting positions, which facilitates the positioning of the plug-in socket.
  • the housing includes a first cover and a second cover.
  • the first cover is fitted over the third-party-facing side of the second cover.
  • a first light-blocking portion and a second light-blocking portion are fixedly connected to the first cover.
