Description

車載用制御装置
 本開示は、車載用制御装置に関する。
 特許文献1には、電源制御装置が開示されている。この電源制御装置は、システムメインリレーと、制限抵抗と、MOSトランジスタと、を備える。システムメインリレーは、バッテリの正極とインバータとの間に接続される。制限抵抗及びMOSトランジスタは、バッテリの正極とインバータとの間に直列に接続され、システムメインリレーに並列に接続される。MOS制御回路は、MOSトランジスタをオンし、インバータの入力側に設けられるコンデンサのプリチャージを開始する。MOS制御回路は、制限抵抗に取り付けられたサーミスタにより制限抵抗の温度を検出し、制限抵抗の温度が基準値以上に上昇するとMOSトランジスタをオフする。
特開2005-312156号公報
 特許文献1の構成では、制限抵抗の熱がサーミスタに伝達されてサーミスタの温度が上昇するまでに時間を要する。このため、制限抵抗の実際の温度が基準値以上になって暫くしてからMOSトランジスタをオフすることとなり、その間、発熱し続けることが懸念される。
 本開示は、プリチャージ抵抗の温度が基準値を超えた状態で発熱し続けることを抑制することが可能な技術を提供することを目的とする。
 本開示の車載用制御装置は、
 バッテリから負荷に電力を供給する電力路と、前記電力路に電気的に接続されるコンデンサと、を備える車載システムに含まれる車載用制御装置であって、
 前記電力路において前記バッテリと前記コンデンサとの間に設けられるメインリレーと、
 前記メインリレーに対して並列に設けられるプリチャージ回路と、
 制御部と、を有し、
 前記プリチャージ回路は、プリチャージリレーと、プリチャージ抵抗と、を直列に接続した構成をなし、
 前記制御部は、プリチャージ開始条件が成立した場合に前記プリチャージリレーをオン状態に制御するプリチャージ制御を実行し、前記プリチャージ制御の実行中において前記プリチャージ抵抗での消費エネルギを算出し、前記消費エネルギに基づいて前記プリチャージ制御を中止する。
 本開示に係る技術は、プリチャージ抵抗の温度が基準値を超えた状態で発熱し続けることを抑制することができる。

 以下では、本開示に係る実施形態が列記されて例示される。

 前記電力路において前記バッテリと前記コンデンサとの間に設けられるメインリレーと、
 前記メインリレーに対して並列に設けられるプリチャージ回路と、
 制御部と、を有し、
 前記プリチャージ回路は、プリチャージリレーと、プリチャージ抵抗と、を直列に接続した構成をなし、
 前記制御部は、プリチャージ開始条件が成立した場合に前記プリチャージリレーをオン状態に制御するプリチャージ制御を実行し、前記プリチャージ制御の実行中において前記プリチャージ抵抗での消費エネルギを算出し、前記消費エネルギに基づいて前記プリチャージ制御を中止する

 上記車載用制御装置は、プリチャージ制御の実行中においてプリチャージ抵抗での消費エネルギを算出し、消費エネルギに基づいてプリチャージ制御を中止する。つまり、上記車載用制御装置は、消費エネルギに基づいてプリチャージ抵抗の温度が基準値を超える状況となったことを判定し、プリチャージ制御を即座に中止することができるため、プリチャージ抵抗の温度が基準値を超えた状態で発熱し続けることを抑制することができる。

 1.第1実施形態
 図1に示す第1実施形態の車載システム1は、車両に搭載されるシステムである。車載システム1は、バッテリ10と、負荷11と、バッテリ10から負荷11に電力を供給する電力路12と、コンデンサ13と、を備える。
 電力路12は、正極側電力線12Aと、負極側電力線12Bと、を有する。正極側電力線12Aの一端は、バッテリ10の正極側の端子に電気的に接続される。正極側電力線12Aの他端は、負荷11の一端に電気的に接続される。負極側電力線12Bの一端は、バッテリ10の負極側の端子に電気的に接続される。負極側電力線12Bの他端は、負荷11の他端に電気的に接続される。

 車載システム1には、車載用制御装置20が含まれる。車載用制御装置20は、正極側メインリレー21と、負極側メインリレー22と、プリチャージ回路23と、を有する。

 プリチャージ回路23は、正極側メインリレー21に対して並列に設けられる。プリチャージ回路23の一端は、正極側電力線12Aにおけるバッテリ10と正極側メインリレー21との間の部位に電気的に接続される。プリチャージ回路23の他端は、正極側電力線12Aにおける正極側メインリレー21とコンデンサ13との間の部位に電気的に接続される。
 プリチャージ回路23は、プリチャージリレー24と、プリチャージ抵抗25と、を直列に接続した構成をなす。プリチャージリレー24は、例えば接点を有する機械式のスイッチによって構成される。
 車載用制御装置20は、電流検出部26と、電圧検出部27と、制御部28と、を有する。
 電流検出部26は、正極側メインリレー21がオフ状態で、且つ負極側メインリレー22及びプリチャージリレー24がオン状態のときに、プリチャージ回路23に流れる電流を検出する。つまり、電流検出部26は、プリチャージ抵抗25に流れる電流を検出する。電流検出部26は、正極側メインリレー21及び負極側メインリレー22がオン状態で、且つプリチャージリレー24がオフ状態のときに、正極側メインリレー21に流れる電流を検出する。電流検出部26は、例えば公知の電流センサによって構成される。電流検出部26による検出値を示す信号は、制御部28に入力される。
 電圧検出部27は、プリチャージ抵抗25の両端の電圧を検出する。プリチャージ抵抗25の両端の電圧は、プリチャージ抵抗25の両端の電位差のことである。電圧検出部27は、例えば公知の電圧検出回路によって構成される。電圧検出部27による検出値を示す信号は、制御部28に入力される。
 制御部28は、例えばマイクロコンピュータを含んで構成される。制御部28は、正極側メインリレー21、負極側メインリレー22及びプリチャージリレー24を制御する。
 制御部28は、プリチャージ開始条件が成立した場合にプリチャージリレー24をオン状態に制御するプリチャージ制御を実行する。プリチャージ開始条件は、例えば、車両の始動スイッチがオン状態に切り替わったことであってもよいし、別の条件であってもよい。始動スイッチは、例えばイグニッションスイッチや、パワースイッチなどである。
 制御部28は、プリチャージ制御において、正極側メインリレー21をオフ状態に制御し、負極側メインリレー22及びプリチャージリレー24をオン状態に制御する。これにより、プリチャージ回路23を介して電流を抑えた形でバッテリ10からコンデンサ13に電流が供給され、コンデンサ13が充電される。
 制御部28は、プリチャージ制御の実行中において、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したか否かを判定する。制御部28は、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したか否かの判定を、プリチャージ制御の開始後に繰り返し実行してもよいし、プリチャージ制御の開始から所定時間経過後に実行してもよい。
 プリチャージ完了条件は、例えば、コンデンサ13の電圧が閾値電圧以上となったことであってもよいし、コンデンサ13の電圧とバッテリ10の電圧との差が判定値以下となったことであってもよいし、正極側メインリレー21の両端の電圧が判定値以下となったことであってもよいし、プリチャージ回路23に流れる電流が閾値電流以下となったことであってもよい。
 制御部28は、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したと判定した場合に、プリチャージ制御を終了する。具体的には、制御部28は、負極側メインリレー22をオン状態に維持したまま、正極側メインリレー21をオン状態に制御し、プリチャージリレー24をオフ状態に制御する。これにより、正極側メインリレー21を介してバッテリ10から負荷11に電力が供給される。
 プリチャージ制御の実行中においては、負荷11の地絡などに起因して、プリチャージ抵抗25に過電流が流れ、プリチャージ抵抗25が故障するおそれがある。そこで、制御部28は、プリチャージ制御の実行中においてプリチャージ抵抗25での消費エネルギEを算出し、消費エネルギEに基づいてプリチャージ制御を中止する。
 本実施形態では、制御部28は、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超えたと判定した場合にプリチャージ制御を中止する。閾値Ethは、例えば、プリチャージ抵抗25の温度が基準値となるまでに必要な消費エネルギが設定される。閾値Ethは、プリチャージ制御によるコンデンサ13の充電が正常に完了する場合におけるプリチャージ抵抗25での消費エネルギEの最大値E1よりも大きい値に設定される。具体的には、閾値Ethは、以下の式(1)の条件を満たす。
  閾値Eth>(1/2)×Cmax×Vmax ・・・式(1)
 Cmaxは、コンデンサ13の容量の最大値。
 Vmaxは、バッテリ10の初期状態の満充電電圧。
 更に、閾値Ethは、プリチャージ抵抗25が故障するまでに必要な消費エネルギE2よりも小さい値に設定される。
 制御部28は、例えば、プリチャージ抵抗25に流れる電流の値Iと、プリチャージ抵抗25の両端の電圧Vとを用いて、単位時間ごとにIVを算出して積算することによって消費エネルギEを算出する。
 図2には、プリチャージが正常に行われる場合における、プリチャージ抵抗25に流れる電流の値I、プリチャージ抵抗25の両端の電圧V、IV、消費エネルギEの経時的変化が示されている。図3には、プリチャージ制御の開始時点で負荷11が地絡している場合における、I、V、IV、Eの経時的変化が示されている。図4には、プリチャージ制御の途中で負荷11が地絡する場合における、I、V、IV、Eの経時的変化が示されている。
 プリチャージが正常に行われる場合、図2に示すように、タイミングT0において、プリチャージ制御が開始されると、コンデンサ13の電圧が徐々に上昇するため、I、V、IVは徐々に低下する。このため、消費エネルギEは、上昇し続けるものの、上昇度合いが徐々に低下する。そして、タイミングT1にて、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したと判定されると、プリチャージ制御が終了される。
 プリチャージ制御の開始時点で負荷11が地絡している場合、図3に示すように、プリチャージ制御が開始されるタイミングT10において、I、Vは、ともに高い状態で始まり、その後、低下もしない。このため、IVも高い状態で維持され、消費エネルギEも経過時間に比例して上昇する。その結果、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したと判定される前に、タイミングT11にて、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超える。制御部28は、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超えたと判定するとプリチャージ制御を中止する。その結果、I、V、IVは、急低下して、0になる。
 プリチャージ制御の途中で負荷11が地絡する場合、図4に示すように、タイミングT20において、プリチャージ制御が開始されると、図2の場合と同様に、I、V、IVは徐々に低下し、消費エネルギEの上昇度合いが徐々に低下する。そして、タイミングT21にて、負荷11が地絡すると、I、V、IVが急上昇し、高い状態で維持される。このため、消費エネルギEも経過時間に比例して上昇する。その結果、プリチャージ完了条件が成立したと判定される前に、タイミングT22にて、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超える。制御部28は、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超えたと判定するとプリチャージ制御を中止する。その結果、I、V、IVは、急低下して、0になる。
 以上のように、車載用制御装置20は、プリチャージ制御の実行中においてプリチャージ抵抗25での消費エネルギEを算出し、消費エネルギEに基づいてプリチャージ制御を中止する。つまり、車載用制御装置20は、消費エネルギEに基づいてプリチャージ抵抗25の温度が基準値を超える状況となったことを判定し、プリチャージ制御を即座に中止することができるため、プリチャージ抵抗25の温度が基準値を超えた状態で発熱し続けることを抑制することができる。
 車載用制御装置20は、消費エネルギEが閾値Ethを超えたと判定した場合にプリチャージ制御を中止するため、中止するか否かの判定処理を簡素化することができる。
 閾値Ethは、プリチャージ制御によるコンデンサ13の充電が正常に完了する場合におけるプリチャージ抵抗25での消費エネルギEの最大値E1よりも大きい値に設定される。このため、車載用制御装置20は、コンデンサ13が満充電となる前にプリチャージ制御を中止することを防止することができる。
 閾値Ethは、プリチャージ抵抗25が故障するまでに必要な消費エネルギE2よりも小さい値に設定される。このため、車載用制御装置20は、プリチャージ抵抗25が故障する前にプリチャージ制御を中止することができる。
 <他の実施形態>
 本開示は、上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではない。例えば、上述又は後述の実施形態の特徴は、矛盾しない範囲であらゆる組み合わせが可能である。また、上述又は後述の実施形態のいずれの特徴も、必須のものとして明示されていなければ省略することもできる。更に、上述した実施形態は、次のように変更されてもよい。
 上記第1実施形態では、制御部が、単位時間ごとにIVを算出して積算することによって消費エネルギを算出する構成であったが、この構成に限らない。例えば、制御部は、プリチャージ抵抗に流れる電流の値Iと、プリチャージ抵抗の抵抗値Rとを用いて、単位時間ごとにIRを算出して積算することによって消費エネルギを算出してもよい。プリチャージ抵抗の抵抗値Rは、予め制御部に記憶された値であってもよいし、実測値であってもよい。また、制御部は、プリチャージ抵抗の両端の電圧Vと、プリチャージ抵抗の抵抗値Rとを用いて、単位時間ごとにV/Rを算出して積算することによって消費エネルギを算出してもよい。
 上記第1実施形態では、制御部は、消費エネルギが閾値を超えたと判定した場合にプリチャージ制御を中止する構成であったが、この構成に限らない。例えば、制御部は、消費エネルギに基づいてプリチャージ抵抗の温度を推定し、推定した温度が基準値を超えたと判定した場合にプリチャージ制御を中止してもよい。この場合、制御部は、消費エネルギと温度との対応関係を示す対応情報を予め記憶しておき、この対応情報と算出した消費エネルギとに基づいてプリチャージ抵抗の温度を推定してもよい。対応情報は、演算式であってもよいし、テーブルであってもよい。
 なお、今回開示された実施の形態は全ての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は、今回開示された実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲によって示された範囲内又は請求の範囲と均等の範囲内での全ての変更が含まれることが意図される。

Claims (8)

  1.  バッテリから負荷に電力を供給する電力路と、前記電力路に電気的に接続されるコンデンサと、を備える車載システムに含まれる車載用制御装置であって、
     前記電力路において前記バッテリと前記コンデンサとの間に設けられるメインリレーと、
     前記メインリレーに対して並列に設けられるプリチャージ回路と、
     制御部と、を有し、
     前記プリチャージ回路は、プリチャージリレーと、プリチャージ抵抗と、を直列に接続した構成をなし、
     前記制御部は、プリチャージ開始条件が成立した場合に前記プリチャージリレーをオン状態に制御するプリチャージ制御を実行し、前記プリチャージ制御の実行中において前記プリチャージ抵抗での消費エネルギを算出し、前記消費エネルギに基づいて前記プリチャージ制御を中止する
     車載用制御装置。
  2.  前記制御部は、前記消費エネルギが閾値を超えたと判定した場合に前記プリチャージ制御を中止する
     請求項1に記載の車載用制御装置。
  3.  前記閾値は、前記プリチャージ制御による前記コンデンサの充電が正常に完了する場合における前記プリチャージ抵抗での消費エネルギの最大値よりも大きい値に設定される
     請求項2に記載の車載用制御装置。
  4.  前記閾値は、前記プリチャージ抵抗が故障するまでに必要な消費エネルギよりも小さい値に設定される
     請求項2又は請求項3に記載の車載用制御装置。
  5.  前記制御部は、前記消費エネルギに基づいて前記プリチャージ抵抗の温度を推定し、推定した温度が基準値を超えたと判定した場合に前記プリチャージ制御を中止する
     請求項1に記載の車載用制御装置。
  6.  前記制御部は、前記プリチャージ抵抗に流れる電流の値Iと、前記プリチャージ抵抗の両端の電圧Vとを用いて、単位時間ごとにIVを算出して積算することによって前記消費エネルギを算出する
     請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車載用制御装置。
  7.  前記制御部は、前記プリチャージ抵抗に流れる電流の値Iと、前記プリチャージ抵抗の抵抗値Rとを用いて、単位時間ごとにIRを算出して積算することによって前記消費エネルギを算出する
     請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車載用制御装置。
  8.  前記制御部は、前記プリチャージ抵抗の両端の電圧Vと、前記プリチャージ抵抗の抵抗値Rとを用いて、単位時間ごとにV/Rを算出して積算することによって前記消費エネルギを算出する
     請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車載用制御装置。
