Description

ロボットおよびロボットの線条体処理構造
 本開示は、ロボットおよびロボットの線条体処理構造に関するものである。
 外部の電源装置等から供給される電力を伝送するためのケーブルが、ベース内から旋回胴の上方に引き出された後に、アームに沿って手首先端まで配線されるロボットが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

 上記の場合は、旋回胴の搭載面に旋回胴を回転させるためのモータが配置されているため、旋回胴の上方に引き出したケーブルが、ロボットの動作に伴って振られた際にモータと接触することを回避しなければならない。そのため、ケーブルを旋回胴の外側を大きく迂回させるなどして、ケーブルとモータとを十分に引き離さなければならず、ケーブルが長尺となりロボットの製造コストが増大してしまう。また、迂回させたケーブルがロボットの周辺設備等に干渉しないように注意しなければならない。
 したがって、上記のロボットのように、旋回胴の搭載面にモータ等の部材が配置されている場合であっても、ケーブルとその部材との干渉を防止しつつ、ケーブル長を最小限に抑えられることが望まれている。
 本開示の一態様は、ベースと、該ベースに対して第1軸線回りに回転可能に支持される旋回胴と、前記第1軸線に直交する平面内に延び、前記第1軸線からオフセットした位置に配置される第2軸線回りに前記旋回胴に回転可能に支持される第1アームと、前記第1軸線と前記第2軸線との間の位置において前記旋回胴の前記ベースとは反対側の搭載面に固定され前記旋回胴を回転駆動するモータと、該モータを挟んで前記第2軸線とは反対側に配置され前記第1アームの駆動トルクを補助するバランサと、を備え、線条体が、前記モータよりも前記第1軸線側において、前記ベース内から該ベースおよび前記旋回胴を前記第1軸線に沿う方向に貫通して設けられた貫通孔を経由して前記搭載面側に引き出され、引き出された前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回した位置において、第1クランプによって前記旋回胴に固定され、前記第1クランプから延びる前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記第1アームの動作に必要な余長を付与されて、第2クランプによって前記第1アームに固定されている、ロボットである。

 本開示の一実施形態に係るロボット100および、ロボット100における線条体処理構造1について、図面を参照して以下に説明する。
 本実施形態に係るロボット100は、例えば、図1に示すように、4軸垂直多関節型ロボットである。
 ロボット100は、床面等の水平な被設置面に設置されるベース10と、鉛直な第1軸線A回りにベース10に対して回転可能に支持される旋回胴20とを備える。また、ロボット100は、水平な第2軸線B回りに旋回胴20に対して回転可能に支持された第1アーム30と、第2軸線Bに平行な第3軸線C回りに第1アーム30の先端に回転可能に支持された第2アーム40とを備える。また、ロボット100は、第3軸線Cに平行な軸線D回りに第2アーム40の先端に回転可能に支持された手首ユニット50を備える。手首ユニット50は、先端の取付フランジ50fを第4軸線E回りに回転駆動する1軸のユニットである。すなわち、ロボット100は、4つの関節を備えている。
 さらに、ロボット100は、外部の電源装置および制御装置から供給される電力および制御信号を、4つの関節および手首ユニット50の先端に装着されるツール(図示略)に伝送するための線条体60を備える(図2参照)。
 以下においては、ロボット100が基本姿勢をとった状態の第1アーム30の先端側を上方、第2アーム40の先端側を前方と定義する。この場合の基本姿勢とは、図1に示すように第2軸線Bと第3軸線Cとに直交する直線が鉛直方向に延び、第3軸線Cと軸線Dとに直交する直線が水平方向に延びた姿勢である。
 ベース10は、図2に示すように、内部に中空部11が形成された箱状の部材である。ベース10の一側面には、分線盤12が取り付けられている。分線盤12には、外部に設置された図示しない電源装置および制御装置から延びる外部ケーブル61の一端が接続される。
 ベース10には、第1軸線Aを含み第1軸線Aに沿って延びる貫通孔10hが設けられている。また、ベース10と旋回胴20との間には、貫通孔10hに接続する貫通孔15hを有する中空の減速機15が固定されている。
 旋回胴20の上面(以下、搭載面とも言う。)20aには、図2および図3に示すように、ベース10に対して旋回胴20を第1軸線A回りに回転させるための第1モータ(モータ)M1が配置されている。第1モータM1は、第1軸線Aに対して前方にオフセットした位置に、回転軸を鉛直下方に延ばして搭載面20aに搭載されている。第1モータM1の回転軸に取り付けられた駆動ギヤは、1以上のギヤ(図示略)を介して減速機15の入力ギヤ(図示略)に噛み合わされている。
 旋回胴20には、減速機15の貫通孔15hに接続する貫通孔20hが設けられている。貫通孔20hは、第1モータM1の後方において、搭載面20aを開口している。すなわち、ベース10の中空部11は、ベース10の貫通孔10h、減速機15の貫通孔15h、旋回胴20の貫通孔20hを経由して、旋回胴20の搭載面20aよりも上方の空間と連通している。
 さらに、旋回胴20は、図3に示すように、貫通孔20hを第2軸線B方向に挟んだ両側に、互い平行に向き合って鉛直上方に延びる一対の壁状の支持部(壁部)22,23を備えている。
 支持部22と第1アーム30との間には、図3に示すように、第1アーム30を旋回胴20に対して第2軸線B回りに回転可能に支持する減速機35が取り付けられている。支持部22の減速機35とは反対側の側面には、減速機35に回転力を入力する第2モータM2が取り付けられている。第1アーム30は、支持部23との間においても、軸受30bによって、第2軸線B回りに回転可能に支持されている。すなわち、第1アーム30は、支持部22,23によって、第2軸線B方向に沿って両持ち梁状に支持されている。
 支持部23には、減速機36によって後述する駆動リンク31が、第2軸線B回りに回転可能に支持されている。また、支持部23の減速機36とは反対側の側面には、支持部22と同様に、減速機36に回転力を入力する第3モータM3が取り付けられている。駆動リンク31は、図1に示すように、ロボット100が基本姿勢にあるときに、水平方向後方に延びる。
 第2アーム40の後端には、図1に示すように、連結リンク32の一端が、第2軸線Bに平行な軸線回りに回転可能に取り付けられている。また、駆動リンク31の先端には、連結リンク32の他端が、第2軸線Bに平行な軸線回りに回転可能に取り付けられている。第1アーム30、第2アーム40、駆動リンク31および連結リンク32によって、第3モータM3により第2アーム40を第1アーム30に対して第3軸線C回りに回転駆動する平行4節リンク(リンク機構)が構成されている。
 また、旋回胴20と第1アーム30との間には、第1アーム30に作用する重力による負荷に対抗するトルクを発生させて、第2モータM2による駆動トルクを補助するためのバランサ25が取り付けられている。バランサ25は、例えば、図2に示すように、圧縮スプリングによって付勢されたシリンダ25aとロッド25bとを備える公知のいわゆるスプリング式バランサである。
 シリンダ25aは、第1アーム30の後方において、旋回胴20に、第2軸線Bに平行な軸線回りに回転可能に支持され、ロッド25bの先端は、第1アーム30に、第2軸線Bに平行な軸線回りに回転可能に支持されている。
 このように、旋回胴20の貫通孔20hの前方には、第1モータM1が配置され、貫通孔20hの上方の空間は、可動するバランサ25のシリンダ25a、駆動リンク31および連結リンク32によって占有されている。
 手首ユニット50は、第2アーム40の先端に、軸線D回りに回転可能に支持された第1部材51と、第1部材51に対して減速機55により第4軸線E回りに回転可能に支持された取付フランジ50fとを備える。また、手首ユニット50は、第1部材51に固定され減速機55に回転力を入力する第4モータ(図示略)を備える。
 また、ロボット100は、手首ユニット50の取付フランジ50fを鉛直下方に向けるように、第4軸線Eを鉛直方向に維持するための平行4節リンクを備える。この平行4節リンクは、第1アーム30の先端に第3軸線C回りに回転可能に支持された第1リンク41と、両端が第1部材51および第1リンク41に、第3軸線Cに平行な軸線回りに回転可能に連結された第1連結リンク52とを備える。また、この平行4節リンクは、両端が第1リンク41および旋回胴20に、第3軸線に平行な軸線回りに回転可能に連結された第2連結リンク42を備える。
 旋回胴20の搭載面20aには、第1モータM1よりも前方に、図示しない複数のネジ孔が設けられている。このネジ孔を利用することにより、後述する第1クランプ71を第2軸線Bより下方において旋回胴20に取り付けることが可能である。
 また、第1アーム30は、中空の部材であり、第2軸線Bに近接する内面30iには、後述する第2クランプ72を取り付け可能とする複数のネジ孔(図示略)が設けられている。
 線条体60は、外部の電源装置および制御装置から供給された電力および制御信号を、ロボット100の4つの関節を駆動する各モータ等に伝送する複数のケーブルをシース等の被覆材によって一纏めにしたものである。線条体60の一端は、ベース10の中空部11側から分線盤12に接続され、他端は、ロボット100の各関節を経由して、先端の手首ユニット50まで配線される。
 本実施形態に係る線条体処理構造1は、例えば、図2および図3に示すように、線条体60を、ベース10の中空部11内から貫通孔10h,15h,20hを経由して、旋回胴20の搭載面20aの上方に引き出す。貫通孔20hから引き出された線条体60を、旋回胴20の搭載面20aに沿って、第1モータM1の側方を迂回して前方側へと回り込むように湾曲させる。
 そして、第1モータM1の前方に引き回された線条体60を、上方に向かって略90°湾曲させるとともに、第1クランプ71によって旋回胴20に固定する。
 第1クランプ71は、例えば、金属製平板を折り曲げて略L字状に形成した部材であり、搭載面20aに設けたネジ孔にボルトにより取り付けられる取付面と、その取付面に対して直交方向に延びる支持面とを備える。第1クランプ71の取付面には、ボルトを通すための複数の取付孔が設けられ、支持面には線条体60を固定する結束具を通すための複数の貫通孔が設けられている。すなわち、第1クランプ71は、複数の取付孔を通したボルトを旋回胴20の搭載面20aの複数のネジ孔に締結することにより、支持面が第2軸線Bの下方において、鉛直上方に立ち上がるように旋回胴20に固定される。
 また、第1クランプ71に固定された部分よりも先端側の線条体60は、第2軸線Bを通過するように上方へと引き伸ばされる。そして、第1クランプ71に固定された部分よりも先端側の線条体60は、第2軸線B回りの第1アーム30の回転動作に必要な余長が与えられ、第2クランプ72によって第1アーム30の内面30iに固定される。
 この場合の第2クランプ72も、第1クランプ71と同様、取付面および支持面を備えた略L字状に形成された部材である。また、この第2クランプ72は、第1アーム30の内面に設けられた複数のネジ孔にボルトを締結することによって、第1アーム30の内側に固定される。
 このように構成された本実施形態に係るロボット100および線条体処理構造1の作用について以下に説明する。
 ここで、本実施形態においては、第1モータM1は、バランサ25および駆動リンク31との干渉を回避するために貫通孔20hよりも前方に配置されることが好ましい。そのため、貫通孔20hの前方は第1モータM1によって遮られている。
 本実施形態によれば、ベース10内から貫通孔10h,15h,20hを経由して旋回胴20の搭載面20a側の空間に引き出される。そして、引き出された線条体60が、貫通孔20hの前方に配置されている第1モータM1のさらに前方の領域から上方の第1アーム30に向かって立ち上げられる。
 この場合において、線条体60は第1モータM1の上方を超えることなく、側方を迂回して第1モータM1の前方まで引き回されるので、バランサ25および駆動リンク31によって占有される空間を通過させずに済む。したがって、線条体60とバランサ25あるいは駆動リンク31との干渉を回避することができる。また、従来のように、線条体60を旋回胴20および第1アーム30の後方を通して先端側まで配線するものでもないため、線条体60を比較的短い経路で配線することができる。よって、線条体60の配線に要する長さを短く抑えることができ、ロボット100の製造コストの低減を実現することができる。
 また、本実施形態によれば、線条体60の第1クランプ71と第2クランプ72との間の第2軸線Bを横切る部分が、第1アーム30の作動によって可動する可動部分(可動ケーブル)となる。しかし、第1クランプ71によって線条体60の可動部分の一端が旋回胴20に固定されている。そのため、第1アーム30が作動した際に、線条体60第1クランプ71よりも基端側部分、すなわち旋回胴20の搭載面20aに沿って配線されている部分が振り回されずに済む。これにより、線条体60を第1モータM1の近傍を通して配線することができる。
 また、第1モータM1の前方に回り込んだ線条体60を、第1クランプ71の第1軸線Aに沿って延びる支持面に固定することにより、第1モータM1の前方において線条体60の上方に湾曲した形態を保持することができる。すなわち、線条体60の第1クランプ71よりも先端側の部分を、第2軸線Bの近傍に配置することができ、線条体60が、第2軸線Bを横切るように配線された状態を確実に維持することができる。
 加えて、第2クランプ72によって、線条体60が第2軸線Bを通過した直後の位置を、第1アーム30に固定することができる。
 これにより、第1アーム30の第2軸線B回りの回転に追従させるために、線条体60に設ける余長(可動部分)の長さを最小限に抑えることができる。
 なお、本実施形態においては、第1クランプ71が、第2軸線Bの鉛直下方位置に配置される場合を例示したが、第1クランプ71の位置は、第1モータM1の前方であれば、第2軸線Bの鉛直下方位置から外れていてもよい。
 例えば、旋回胴20および第1モータM1の形状等に応じて、第1クランプ71を第2軸線Bの鉛直下方位置よりも後方にずれた位置に配置してもよい。
 この場合には、例えば、第1クランプ71の取付面と支持面との内角が鈍角となるように形成する。つまり、第1クランプ71の取付面を旋回胴20の搭載面20aに固定した状態において、支持面が斜め前方上側に延び、支持面の先端が第2軸線Bを向くように形成する。
 これにより、第1モータM1の前側に回り込んだ線条体60は、第1クランプ71に固定されることにより、第2軸線Bに向かうように導かれる。したがって、上記と同様に、線条体60を、第2軸線Bを横切る経路に配線することができる。
 また、本実施形態においては、第2クランプ72の線条体60を固定する支持面の先端が、第2クランプ72を第1アーム30の内面30iに固定した際に、第2軸線Bを向くように形成されていてもよい。
 これにより、線条体60をより確実に、第2軸線Bを通る経路に配線することができる。
 また、本実施形態によれば、第2クランプ72を、第1アーム30の内面30iに取り付けられることとしたが、これに代えて、第2クランプ72を、第1アーム30の基端側の外表面に取り付けてもよい。
 この場合には、線条体60は、第1アーム30の外表面に沿って配線することになるため、線条体60を第1アーム30の内側を通す場合に比べて、配線作業が容易になる。
 また、本実施形態においては、ロボット100の旋回胴20が一対の支持部22,23を備え、第1アーム30を両持ち梁状に支持するものとした。これに代えて、旋回胴20がいずれか一方の支持部を省略し、第1アーム30を片持ち梁状に支持する構成であってもよい。
 また、本実施形態においては、第2軸線Bの位置に配置した第3モータM3によって第2アーム40を駆動するための平行4節リンクを有するロボット100を例示した。これに代えて、本実施形態における線条体の処理構造は、平行4節リンクを有さないロボットに適用してもよい。すなわち、バランサ25のみによって旋回胴20の搭載面20aの上方の空間を占有される場合にも有効な線条体処理構造である。
 また、本実施形態においては、第1軸線Aを含む領域に配置される旋回胴20の貫通孔20hから引き出した線条体60の処理構造を例示した。これに代えて、貫通孔20h以外の部分を経由して旋回胴20の搭載面20aに引き出された線条体60に適用してもよい。
 また、線条体60を搭載面20aに沿って第1モータM1の側方を引き回す処理構造を例示したが、線条体60の経路は、第1モータM1の上端面よりも下方であれば、任意の位置でよい。バランサ25および駆動リンク31は、第1モータM1と干渉することはないので、線条体60の配線経路が第1モータM1の上端面よりも下方であれば、線条体60の干渉を回避することができる。
 以上、本開示の実施形態について詳述したが、本開示は上述した個々の実施形態に限定されるものではない。これらの実施形態は、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で、または、特許請求の範囲に記載された内容とその均等物から導き出される本発明の思想および趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で、種々の追加、置き換え、変更、部分的削除等が可能である。例えば、上述した実施形態において、各動作の順序や各処理の順序は、一例として示したものであり、これらに限定されるものではない。
 上記実施形態および変形例に関し、さらに以下の付記を開示する。
(付記1)
 ベースと、該ベースに対して第1軸線回りに回転可能に支持される旋回胴と、前記第1軸線に直交する平面内に延び、前記第1軸線からオフセットした位置に配置される第2軸線回りに前記旋回胴に回転可能に支持される第1アームと、前記第1軸線と前記第2軸線との間の位置において前記旋回胴の前記ベースとは反対側の搭載面に固定され前記旋回胴を回転駆動するモータと、該モータを挟んで前記第2軸線とは反対側に配置され前記第1アームの駆動トルクを補助するバランサと、を備え、線条体が、前記モータよりも前記第1軸線側において、前記ベース内から該ベースおよび前記旋回胴を前記第1軸線に沿う方向に貫通して設けられた貫通孔を経由して前記搭載面側に引き出され、引き出された前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回した位置において、第1クランプによって前記旋回胴に固定され、前記第1クランプから延びる前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記第1アームの動作に必要な余長を付与されて、第2クランプによって前記第1アームに固定されている、ロボット。
(付記2)
 前記貫通孔が、前記第1軸線を含む位置に設けられている、付記1に記載のロボット。
(付記3)
 前記ベースから前記搭載面側に引き出された前記線条体が、前記搭載面に沿って前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回されている、付記1または付記2に記載のロボット。
(付記4)
 前記第1クランプが、前記線条体を前記第1軸線方向に沿って前記第1アームに向かって湾曲させる、付記1から付記3のいずれかに記載のロボット。
(付記5)
 前記旋回胴が、前記第2軸線方向に間隔をあけて互いに平行に配置される一対の壁部を備え、前記第1アームが、一対の前記壁部に前記第2軸線回りに回転可能に支持されている、付記1から付記4のいずれかに記載のロボット。
(付記6)
 前記第2軸線に平行な第3軸線回りに前記第1アームに対して回転可能に支持される第2アームと、前記第2軸線回りに回転駆動力を発生するアーム用モータと、該アーム用モータによって、前記第2アームを前記第1アームに対して前記第3軸線回りに回転駆動するためのリンク機構と、を備える、付記1から付記5のいずれかに記載のロボット。
(付記7)
 ロボットの線条体処理構造であって、前記ロボットが、ベースと、該ベースに対して第1軸線回りに回転可能に支持される旋回胴と、前記第1軸線に直交する平面内に延び、前記第1軸線からオフセットした位置に配置される第2軸線回りに前記旋回胴に回転可能に支持される第1アームと、前記第1軸線と前記第2軸線との間の位置において前記旋回胴の前記ベースとは反対側の搭載面に固定され前記旋回胴を回転駆動するモータと、該モータを挟んで前記第2軸線とは反対側に配置され前記第1アームの駆動トルクを補助するバランサと、を備え、線条体を、前記モータよりも前記第1軸線側において、前記ベース内から該ベースおよび前記旋回胴を前記第1軸線に沿う方向に貫通して設けられた貫通孔を経由して前記搭載面側に引き出し、引き出された前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置を、前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回した位置において、第1クランプによって前記旋回胴に固定し、前記第1クランプから延びる前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置を、前記第1アームの動作に必要な余長を付与して、第2クランプによって前記第1アームに固定する、ロボットの線条体処理構造。

Claims (7)

  1.  ベースと、
     該ベースに対して第1軸線回りに回転可能に支持される旋回胴と、
     前記第1軸線に直交する平面内に延び、前記第1軸線からオフセットした位置に配置される第2軸線回りに前記旋回胴に回転可能に支持される第1アームと、
     前記第1軸線と前記第2軸線との間の位置において前記旋回胴の前記ベースとは反対側の搭載面に固定され前記旋回胴を回転駆動するモータと、
     該モータを挟んで前記第2軸線とは反対側に配置され前記第1アームの駆動トルクを補助するバランサと、を備え、
     線条体が、
     前記モータよりも前記第1軸線側において、前記ベース内から該ベースおよび前記旋回胴を前記第1軸線に沿う方向に貫通して設けられた貫通孔を経由して前記搭載面側に引き出され、
     引き出された前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回した位置において、第1クランプによって前記旋回胴に固定され、
     前記第1クランプから延びる前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置が、前記第1アームの動作に必要な余長を付与されて、第2クランプによって前記第1アームに固定されている、ロボット。
  2.  前記貫通孔が、前記第1軸線を含む位置に設けられている、請求項1に記載のロボット。
  3.  前記ベースから前記搭載面側に引き出された前記線条体が、前記搭載面に沿って前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回されている、請求項1または請求項2に記載のロボット。
  4.  前記第1クランプが、前記線条体を前記第1軸線方向に沿って前記第1アームに向かって湾曲させる、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のロボット。
  5.  前記旋回胴が、前記第2軸線方向に間隔をあけて互いに平行に配置される一対の壁部を備え、
     前記第1アームが、一対の前記壁部に前記第2軸線回りに回転可能に支持されている、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のロボット。
  6.  前記第2軸線に平行な第3軸線回りに前記第1アームに対して回転可能に支持される第2アームと、
     前記第2軸線回りに回転駆動力を発生するアーム用モータと、
     該アーム用モータによって、前記第2アームを前記第1アームに対して前記第3軸線回りに回転駆動するためのリンク機構と、
    を備える、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のロボット。
  7.  ロボットの線条体処理構造であって、
     前記ロボットが、
     ベースと、
     該ベースに対して第1軸線回りに回転可能に支持される旋回胴と、
     前記第1軸線に直交する平面内に延び、前記第1軸線からオフセットした位置に配置される第2軸線回りに前記旋回胴に回転可能に支持される第1アームと、
     前記第1軸線と前記第2軸線との間の位置において前記旋回胴の前記ベースとは反対側の搭載面に固定され前記旋回胴を回転駆動するモータと、
     該モータを挟んで前記第2軸線とは反対側に配置され前記第1アームの駆動トルクを補助するバランサと、を備え、
     線条体を、前記モータよりも前記第1軸線側において、前記ベース内から該ベースおよび前記旋回胴を前記第1軸線に沿う方向に貫通して設けられた貫通孔を経由して前記搭載面側に引き出し、
     引き出された前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置を、前記モータの側方を迂回して前記第2軸線側に引き回した位置において、第1クランプによって前記旋回胴に固定し、
     前記第1クランプから延びる前記線条体の長さ方向の途中位置を、前記第1アームの動作に必要な余長を付与して、第2クランプによって前記第1アームに固定する、ロボットの線条体処理構造。
