Abstract

第1工程(S101)で、石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を作製する。第2工程(S102)で、作製した模擬試料を所定の基板に塗布して乾燥する。第3工程(S103)で、上述したように作製した模擬試料について、X線回折分析を実施し、基板に塗布されて乾燥した模擬試料に含まれる模擬物質の構造のピークを確認する。第4工程(S104)で、レーザ照射による模擬試料の加熱で模擬物質が溶融するレーザの照射条件を、X線回折分析による模擬試料におけるピークの消失により確認する。

Description

石綿溶融条件の推定方法
 本発明は、石綿溶融条件の推定方法に関する。
 石綿は優れた断熱性、耐薬品性を持つことから、塗材や吹き付け材などに混ぜた石綿含有建材が多くの建築物に使用されてきたが、石綿の繊維形状が肺がんのリスクとなることが指摘され、日本では製造および使用が禁止されている。一方、石綿含有建材を使用した建築物の老朽化により、それらの建築物の解体工事が増加しており、それに伴って、石綿含有建材の除去工事が増加している。
 一般的に、石綿含有建材の除去には、電動工具や手工具、あるいは高圧洗浄水などが用いられている。除去した石綿含有建材を熱処理して再利用する場合もあるが、熱処理できる施設が少なく、ほとんどが埋め立て処分されるため、処分場の増設が必須であることに加えて、埋立て処分しても、繊維状の形状は保持されてしまうため、有害性は消失しない。
 上記の問題の解決のために、建築物の解体現場で石綿含有建材を溶融させて繊維形状を消失させる技術が開発されている。例えば、レーザ光を使用して石綿含有建材中の繊維形状を消失させる技術がある(特許文献1)。

 石綿含有建材は多種多様な形態で使用されているため、レーザを用いて効率的に石綿を溶融させるためには、それぞれの建材に適したレーザ光の条件、例えば、レーザ光源の波長やパワーなどを実験によって特定することが望ましい。しかしながら、石綿を含有した試料を採取することは手間であり、採取できる数も限られるため上述した実験を実施することが容易ではない。このように、従来、石綿を溶融させる石綿含有建材に適したレーザ光の条件を特定することが容易ではないという問題があった。
 本発明は、以上のような問題点を解消するためになされたものであり、石綿を溶融させる石綿含有建材に適したレーザ光の条件が容易に特定できるようにすることを目的とする。
 本発明に係る石綿溶融条件の推定方法は、石綿より高い融点の石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を作製する第1工程と、模擬試料を基板に塗布して乾燥する第2工程と、X線回折分析により、基板に塗布されて乾燥した模擬試料に含まれる模擬物質の構造のピークを確認する第3工程と、レーザ照射による模擬試料の加熱で模擬物質が溶融する照射条件を、X線回折分析による模擬試料におけるピークの消失により確認する第4工程とを備える。
 以上説明したように、本発明によれば、石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を用いるので、石綿を溶融させる石綿含有建材に適したレーザ光の条件が容易に特定できる。
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る石綿溶融条件の推定方法を説明するためのフローチャートである。 図2は、石綿溶融条件の推定方法を実施するためのレーザ照射装置の構成例を示す構成図である。 図3は、レーザ光の照射前のX線回折分析の結果(実線)、およびレーザ光の照射後のX線回折分析の結果(点線)を示す特性図である。 図4は、レーザ光の照射条件と石英の溶融をプロットした特性図である。 図5は、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を予想した結果を示す特性図である。 図6は、レーザ光の照射条件と鉄の溶融をプロットした特性図である。 図7は、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を予想した結果を示す特性図である。
 以下、本発明の実施の形態に係る石綿溶融条件の推定方法について図1を参照して説明する。
 まず、第1工程S101で、石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を作製する。模擬物質は、石綿より高い融点の材料とする。模擬物質は、例えば、石英または鉄とすることができる。
 次に、第2工程S102で、作製した模擬試料を所定の基板に塗布して乾燥する。基板は、例えば、コンクリートから構成することができる。
 次に、第3工程S103で、上述したように作製した模擬試料について、X線回折分析を実施し、基板に塗布されて乾燥した模擬試料に含まれる模擬物質の構造のピークを確認する。例えば、模擬物質を石英とした場合、X線回折分析により、SiO2の結晶構造を示すピークが確認できる。また、例えば、模擬物質を鉄とした場合、X線回折分析により、Feの結晶構造を示すピークが確認できる。
 次に、第4工程S104で、レーザ照射による模擬試料の加熱で模擬物質が溶融するレーザの照射条件を、X線回折分析による模擬試料におけるピークの消失により確認する。例えば、照射するレーザ光のパワー、および照射するレーザ光のスキャン速度などの照射条件を変更してレーザを照射する。条件毎にレーザを照射し、照射の結果、X線回折分析による模擬試料におけるピークが消失した照射条件を確認(特定)する。
 上述したように、X線回折分析による模擬試料におけるピークの消失が確認された模擬物質が溶融する照射条件を、推定対象の建材における石綿の溶融条件として推定することができる(第5工程)。
 以下、実施例を用いてより詳細に説明する。
[実施例1]
 はじめに、実施例1について説明する。実施例1では、模擬物質を石英とする。石英(SiO2)の融点は1600℃程度である。一方、石綿の中でも最も多く利用されているといわれるクリソタイルの融点が1500℃である。従って、石英を模擬物質として作製した模擬試料における石英が、レーザ光の照射によって溶融すれば、同じ照射条件でレーザ光を、クリソタイルを含有した下地調整材に照射すれば、クリソタイルも溶融することを示唆すると考えた。
(模擬試料の作製)
 まず、模擬試料の作製について説明する。実施例1では、石綿含有建材の中でも下地調整材と呼ばれる建材の模擬試料を作製する。下地調整材は、例えば、コンクリートの壁などに壁紙を貼付する前に、コンクリート壁の表面を平らにならすための建築材料(塗り壁材)であり、石綿とセメントを混ぜて作られることが多い。
 石英の重量%濃度が1%程度となるよう粉末の石英を計量してセメントの材料に入れ、ボールミルを用いて7時間混合して模擬試料を作製した。コンクリート片を基板とし、この表面に作製した模擬試料を塗布した。下地調整材としての模擬試料の塗布膜の厚さが1mmとなるように塗布した。コンクリート片の上に深さ1mmの木枠を設置し、木枠の中に作製した模擬試料を流し込んでからヘラで均一に広げて塗布膜とした。このようにしてコンクリート片の表面に模擬試料の塗布膜を形成した後で乾燥させた。
(レーザ照射実験)
 上述した模擬試料による乾燥した塗布膜を用いて、模擬試料における石英が溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を探索した。
 使用したレーザ照射装置は、図2の(a)に示すように、波長1070nmの連続波のレーザ光を出射する光源101からレーザ光を出射する。出射したレーザ光は、光ファイバー102を導波させてファイバーコリメータ103に導入した。レーザ光はファイバーコリメータ103でビーム径5.0mmの平行光線104に変換されてから、凸レンズ105を透過してスポット径60μmの集光光106とし、模擬試料の塗膜107に照射した。
 模擬試料塗布したコンクリート片は、自動移動ステージ(不図示)に設置されており、自動移動ステージの移動により、図2の(b)に示す矢視線をなぞるように、集光光を移動(走査)させて照射した。
 図3に、レーザ光の照射前のX線回折分析の結果(実線)、およびレーザ光の照射後のX線回折分析の結果(点線)を示す。レーザ光照射前では、石綿の模擬物質として用いている石英(SiO2)の結晶構造を示すピークが確認できる。レーザ光の照射条件を適当に選ぶことによって、図2の点線に示すように、X線回折の石英の結晶構造を示すピークを消すことができる。ピークの消失は、石英が溶融して結晶構造を消失したことを示している。
 図4は、実験で用いたレーザ光の照射条件と石英の溶融をプロットしたものである。横軸にはレーザ光のパワー、縦軸はレーザ光のスポットの移動(走査)速度である。図4において、●はX線回折分析による石英のピークがあり、白丸はX線回折分析による石英のピークがない場合を示している。以下に示す図5、図6、図7も同様である。図5に、図4の結果を外装して、レーザ光のパワーを増大したときに、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件(スポットの移動速度)を予想した結果を示す。図4の点線で示す領域内が、クリソタイルが溶融する照射条件の予想結果である。
 パワーp1、スポットの移動速度v1で石英が溶融したので、クリソタイルも同じ条件で溶融すると予想した。同様に、p1とv2では石英が溶融しないので、クリソタイルも溶融しないと予想した。また、レーザ光のパワーをp2まで増大させればv2でもクリソタイルは溶融し、p2とv3の組み合わせではクリソタイルは溶融しないと予想した。
(確認実験)
 上述した照射条件の組み合わせで、クリソタイルの溶融を確認する実験を行った。建築物の解体現場から、クリソタイルを含有している下地調整材を採取して試料とした。レーザ光のパワーとスポットの移動速度の組み合わせは、p1-v1、p1-v2、p2-v2、p2-v3である。それぞれの照射条件で下地調整材にレーザ光を照射したのちに、X線回折分析および電子顕微鏡観察により、クリソタイルが溶融しているかいなかを確認した結果を以下の表1に示す。表1に示すように、図5で予想した通りにクリソタイルの溶融が確認された。
 上述した実施例1の結果より、実施の形態に係る模擬試料を使用することで、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を効率的に推定できた。
[実施例2]
 次に、実施例2について説明する。実施例2では、模擬物質を鉄とする。鉄(Fe)の融点は1500℃程度である。一方、石綿の中でも最も多く利用されているといわれるクリソタイルの融点が1500℃である。従って、鉄を模擬物質として作製した模擬試料における鉄が、レーザ光の照射によって溶融すれば、同じ照射条件でレーザ光を、クリソタイルを含有した下地調整材に照射すれば、クリソタイルも溶融することを示唆すると考えた。
(模擬試料の作製)
 まず、模擬試料の作製について説明する。実施例2でも、石綿含有建材の中でも下地調整材と呼ばれる建材の模擬試料を作製する。下地調整材は、例えば、コンクリートの壁などに壁紙を貼付する前に、コンクリート壁の表面を平らにならすための建築材料(塗り壁材)であり、石綿とセメントを混ぜて作られることが多い。
 鉄の重量%濃度が1%程度となるよう粉末の鉄を計量してセメントの材料に入れ、ボールミルを用いて7時間混合して模擬試料を作製した。コンクリート片を基板とし、この表面に作製した模擬試料を塗布した。下地調整材としての模擬試料の塗布膜の厚さが1mmとなるように塗布した。コンクリート片の上に深さ1mmの木枠を設置し、木枠の中に作製した模擬試料を流し込んでからヘラで均一に広げて塗布膜とした。このようにしてコンクリート片の表面に模擬試料の塗布膜を形成した後で乾燥させた。
(レーザ照射実験)
 上述した模擬試料による乾燥した塗布膜を用いて、模擬試料における鉄が溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を探索した。
 使用したレーザ照射装置は、図2の(a)に示すように、波長1070nmの連続波のレーザ光を出射する光源101からレーザ光を出射する。出射したレーザ光は、光ファイバー102を導波させてファイバーコリメータ103に導入した。レーザ光はファイバーコリメータ103でビーム径5.0mmの平行光線104に変換されてから、凸レンズ105を透過してスポット径60μmの集光光106とし、模擬試料の塗膜107に照射した。
 模擬試料塗布したコンクリート片は、自動移動ステージ(不図示)に設置されており、自動移動ステージの移動により、図2の(b)に示す矢視線をなぞるように、集光光を移動(走査)させて照射した。
 レーザ光の照射前のX線回折分析の結果石綿の模擬物質として用いている鉄(Fe)の結晶構造を示すピークが確認された。前述した実施例1と同様に、レーザ光の照射条件を適当に選ぶことによって、X線回折の鉄の結晶構造を示すピークを消すことができる。ピークの消失は、鉄が溶融して結晶構造を消失したことを示している。
 図6は、実験で用いたレーザ光の照射条件と鉄の溶融をプロットしたものである。横軸にはレーザ光のパワー、縦軸はレーザ光のスポットの移動(走査)速度である。図7に、図6の結果を外装して、レーザ光のパワーを増大したときに、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件(スポットの移動速度)を予想した結果を示す。図7の点線で示す領域内が、クリソタイルが溶融する照射条件の予想結果である。
 パワーp1’、スポットの移動速度v1’で鉄が溶融したので、クリソタイルも同じ条件で溶融すると予想した。同様に、p1’とv2’では鉄が溶融しないので、クリソタイルも溶融しないと予想した。また、レーザ光のパワーをp2’まで増大させればv2’でもクリソタイルは溶融し、p2’とv3’の組み合わせではクリソタイルは溶融しないと予想した。
(確認実験)
 上述した照射条件の組み合わせで、クリソタイルの溶融を確認する実験を行った。建築物の解体現場から、クリソタイルを含有している下地調整材を採取して試料とした。レーザ光のパワーとスポットの移動速度の組み合わせは、p1’-v1’、p1’-v2’、p2’-v2’、p2’-v3’である。それぞれの照射条件で下地調整材にレーザ光を照射したのちに、X線回折分析および電子顕微鏡観察により、クリソタイルが溶融しているかいなかを確認した結果を以下の表2に示す。表2に示すように、図7で予想した通りにクリソタイルの溶融が確認された。
 上述した実施例2の結果より、実施の形態に係る模擬試料を使用することで、クリソタイルが溶融するレーザ光の照射条件を効率的に推定できた。
 以上に説明したように、本発明の実施の形態によれば、石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を用いるので、石綿を溶融させる石綿含有建材に適したレーザ光の条件が容易に特定できるようになる。
 石綿含有建材は多種多様な形態で使用されているため、レーザを用いて効率的に石綿を溶融させるためには、それぞれの建材に適したレーザ光の条件、例えば、レーザ光源の波長やパワーなどを実験によって特定することが望ましい。しかしながら、石綿を含有した試料を採取するのは手間であり、採取できる数も限られる。本発明の実施の形態によれば、このような実験を効率よく進めるために石綿含有建材をよく模擬した試料を用いた実験の結果から石綿が溶融するレーザ光の条件を推定し、この後で、実際に石綿を含有している試料を用いた実験で確認しているので便利である。
 なお、本発明は以上に説明した実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の技術的思想内で、当分野において通常の知識を有する者により、多くの変形および組み合わせが実施可能であることは明白である。

Claims (3)

  1.  石綿より高い融点の前記石綿を模擬するための模擬物質と、前記石綿が使用されている建材の母材とを混合した模擬試料を作製する第1工程と、
     前記模擬試料を基板に塗布して乾燥する第2工程と、
     X線回折分析により、前記基板に塗布されて乾燥した前記模擬試料に含まれる前記模擬物質の構造のピークを確認する第3工程と、
     レーザ照射による前記模擬試料の加熱で前記模擬物質が溶融する照射条件を、X線回折分析による前記模擬試料における前記ピークの消失により確認する第4工程と
     を備える石綿溶融条件の推定方法。
  2.  請求項1記載の石綿溶融条件の推定方法において、
     X線回折分析による前記模擬試料における前記ピークの消失により確認した前記模擬物質が溶融する照射条件を、前記建材における前記石綿の溶融条件として推定する第5工程をさらに備える石綿溶融条件の推定方法。
  3.  請求項1または2記載の石綿溶融条件の推定方法において、
     前記模擬物質は、石英または鉄である石綿溶融条件の推定方法。
