Description

電気接続ユニット
 本発明の実施形態は、電気接続ユニットに関する。
 本願は、2024年4月9日に日本に出願された特願2024-062569号について優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
 特許文献1には、車両に搭載されるジャンクションボックスが開示されている。ジャンャンクションボックス内には、複数の電子部品が搭載されている。

 ところで今後、電動車両における通電時間および/または通電電流値の増加に伴い、発熱量が多くなることが予想される。このため、電気接続ユニットの放熱性の向上が期待されている。
 一実施形態は、放熱性の向上を図ることができる電気接続ユニットを提供する。
 一実施形態の電気接続ユニットは、第1部材と、第2部材と、第1電子部品と、第2電子部品と、第1バスバーと、金属部材と、第1熱伝導部材とを有する。前記第2部材は、前記第1部材との間に収容空間を形成する。前記第1電子部品は、前記収容空間に配置される。前記第2電子部品は、前記収容空間に配置される。前記第1バスバーは、第1端部と、第2端部と、延伸部とを有する。前記第1端部は、前記第1電子部品に電気的に接続される。前記第2端部は、前記第2電子部品に電気的に接続される。前記延伸部は、板状であり、前記第1部材に沿って延びている。前記金属部材は、前記第1部材に対して前記第2部材とは反対側に配置される。前記金属部材は、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板部を含む。前記第1熱伝導部材は、前記第1部材と前記第2部材とが対向する方向を第1方向とする場合、前記第1方向で前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置される。前記第1熱伝導部材は、前記延伸部の延伸方向を第2方向とする場合、前記第2方向に関して前記延伸部よりも小さな外形を有する。前記第1熱伝導部材は、前記第1方向から見た場合に、前記延伸部の前記第2方向の中央よりも前記第1端部の近くに偏った位置で前記延伸部と重なる。

 一実施形態によれば、電気接続ユニットの放熱性の向上を図ることができる。

<第1実施形態>
 以下、第1実施形態について、図面を用いて説明する。なお本開示で「接続」とは、機械的な接続に限定されず、電気的な接続を含み得る。すなわち「接続」とは、接続対象である2つの要素が直接に接続される場合に限定されず、接続対象である2つの要素が別の要素を間に介在させて接続される場合を含み得る。
(電気接続ユニット)
 図1は、第1実施形態に係る電気接続ユニット1を示す斜視図である。電気接続ユニット1は、例えば、EV(Electric Vehicle)、HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle)、またはPHEV(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)などの電動車両に搭載される機器である。電気接続ユニット1は、例えば、電動車両に搭載される複数の電気機器を電気的に接続可能な接続機器である。複数の電気機器は、例えば、電池パック、インバータ、パワーウィンドウ(窓開閉装置)、ヘッドライトなどであるが、これらに限定されない。電気接続ユニット1は、「電気接続箱」または「ジャンクションボックス」と称されてもよい。なお、本開示で言う「電気接続ユニット」は、後述するような複数のジャンクションボックス4が一体化された構成に限定されない。「電気接続ユニット」は、例えば、1つのジャンクションボックス4に対応する構成のみを有してもよい。
 図1に示すように、電気接続ユニット1は、例えば、金属部材2と、複数の固定具3(図2参照)と、複数のジャンクションボックス4と、絶縁部5とを備える。本実施形態では、電気接続ユニット1は、電動車両の電池パックの外側に搭載されている。なお、電気接続ユニット1の搭載場所は、上記例に限定されない。電気接続ユニット1は、電池パックの内部に搭載されてもよいし、別の電気機器の近くに搭載されてもよいし、冷却機器の近くに搭載されてもよい。
 (金属部材)
 金属部材2は、金属材料により形成され、後述するジャンクションボックス4の筐体10よりも高い熱伝導性を有する部材ある。金属部材2は、例えばアルミニウム、またはアルミニウム合金などの金属材料により形成されている。本実施形態では、金属部材2は、ジャンクションボックス4の筐体10の底壁11に沿って延びた板部2pを含む。なお、金属部材2は、板部2pのみにより形成されてもよいし、板部2pの外周縁から起立した縁部などを有してもよい。
 以下、金属部材2とジャンクションボックス4とが対向する方向をZ方向(第1方向)とする。金属部材2からジャンクションボックス4に向かう方向を+Z方向とする。ジャンクションボックス4から金属部材2に向かう方向を-Z方向とする。また、Z方向を向く面内において互いに交差する方向を、X方向及びY方向とする。本実施形態の一例では、X方向とY方向とZ方向とは、互いに直交する方向である。また、この一例では、Z方向が「上下方向」である。また、この一例では、+Z方向が上方向であり、-Z方向が下方向である。ただし、電気接続ユニット1が搭載される姿勢は、上述した例に限定されない。
 本実施形態では、金属部材2の板部2pは、X方向及びY方向に延びた板状である。金属部材2の板部2pは、+Z方向に向いた一表面として、搭載面(支持面)2aを有する。搭載面2aは、例えば、X方向およびY方向に沿う平面である。搭載面2aには、後述する絶縁部5を介して複数のジャンクションボックス4が搭載されている。
 また、金属部材2は、Z方向から見て、後述する複数のジャンクションボックス4よりも僅かに大きく形成されている。例えば、金属部材2の外周縁2bは、Z方向から見て、複数のジャンクションボックス4よりも外側に沿って形成されている。例えば、金属部材2の外周縁2bは、複数のジャンクションボックス4の外形に沿って形成されている。なお、金属部材2には、放熱フィン等の追加の放熱構造が設けられていてもよい。
 (固定具)
 図2は、図1に示された電気接続ユニット1のII-II線に沿う部分断面図である。図2に示すように、固定具3は、金属部材2を外部の取付体6に固定している。取付体6は、例えば、電気接続ユニット1の搭載先である電池パックである。なお、取付体6は、電池パックでなくてもよく、例えば車体であってもよい。固定具3は、例えばボルトである。固定具3は、金属部材2を搭載面2aから-Z方向に貫通している。固定具3は、金属部材2の外周縁2bに近接して設けられている。固定具3は、Z方向から見て、金属部材2の外周縁2bよりも内側かつ、後述するジャンクションボックス4よりも外側に配置されている。固定具3は、例えば金属製である。固定具3は、金属部材2から取付体6に熱を伝える。
 (ジャンクションボックス)
 複数のジャンクションボックス4の各々は、複数の電気機器を電気的に接続可能な接続機器である。ジャンクションボックス4は、「電気接続箱」と称されてもよい。複数のジャンクションボックス4は、例えば、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bとを含む(図1参照)。第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、例えば、電気的な機能が異なる。これに代えて/加えて、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、外部の接続先(接続される電気機器)が異なってもよい。例えば、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aは、電気接続ユニット1の外部に配置される第1電気機器に電気的に接続される。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、電気接続ユニット1の外部に配置される第2電気機器に電気的に接続される。第2電気機器は、第1電気機器とは用途が異なる電気機器である。第1ジャンクションボックス4Aは、「第1電気接続モジュール」の一例である。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、「第2電気接続モジュール」の一例である。以下では、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと第2ジャンクションボックス4Bとを区別しない場合、単に「ジャンクションボックス4」と称する。
 複数のジャンクションボックス4は、金属部材2とZ方向に対向して配置されている。複数のジャンクションボックス4は、金属部材2の搭載面2a上に互いに近接して搭載されている。複数のジャンクションボックス4同士は、互いに接触していてもよい。複数のジャンクションボックス4は、Z方向から見て、金属部材2の外周縁2bの内側に配置されている。
 (第1ジャンクションボックス)
 まず、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aについて説明する。
 図2に示すように、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aは、例えば、筐体10と、複数の電子部品20と、バスバー30と、複数の熱伝導部材40とを備える。
 (筐体)
 筐体10は、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aの外郭を形成する部材である。筐体10は、例えば、絶縁部5を間に介在させて金属部材2の搭載面2aに取り付けられている。これに代えて、筐体10は、金属部材2の搭載面2aに取り付けられてもよい。筐体10は、通電時に発熱する複数の電子部品20を収容している。筐体10は、非金属性である。筐体10は、合成樹脂のような絶縁材料により形成されて絶縁性を有する。本実施形態の筐体10は、例えばポリプレピン等の樹脂材料により形成されている。
 筐体10は、例えば、直方体状に形成されている。筐体10は、例えば、底壁11と、周壁12と、上壁13とを有する。底壁11は、Z方向で金属部材2の搭載面2aと対向する壁である。底壁11は、X方向およびY方向に沿って延びている。底壁11は、金属部材2の搭載面2aに沿って延びている。底壁11は、Z方向から見た場合、例えば周壁12の外側に張り出している。底壁11は、底壁11をZ方向に貫通する貫通孔14を有する。貫通孔14内には、後述する熱伝導部材40が配置されている。貫通孔14は、電子部品20ごとに1つずつ形成されている。
 周壁12は、底壁11から+Z方向に延びている。周壁12は、Z方向から見て、底壁11の外周縁11aよりも内側に位置する。周壁12は、底壁11の外周縁11aに沿って形成されている。上壁13は、底壁11とZ方向に対向して配置されている。上壁13は、周壁12の+Z方向側の開口を閉塞している。
 本実施形態では、筐体10は、第1部材15と、第2部材16とを有する。第1部材15は、例えば、上述した底壁11を含む。第2部材16は、例えば、上述した周壁12および上壁13を含む。筐体10は、第1部材15と、第2部材16とが組み合わされることで形成されている。第1部材15と、第2部材16との間には、複数の電子部品20が収容される収容空間S1が形成される。収容空間S1は、「第1収容空間」の一例である。なお上記例に代えて、第1部材15は、上述した底壁11および周壁12を有してもよい。第2部材16は、上壁13のみで形成されてもよい。また、第2部材16は、合成樹脂製の壁に代えて、絶縁性のフィルムなどにより形成されてもよい。
 (電子部品)
 複数の電子部品20は、筐体10の収容空間S1に収容されている。本実施形態では、複数の電子部品20は、第1電子部品20Aと、第2電子部品20Bとを含む。電子部品20A,20Bは、例えば、コネクタ、ヒューズ、リレー(例えば、機械式リレー、または半導体式リレー)、コンデンサ、分岐部品、電子制御ユニット、または、これらのうち2つ以上をユニット化した電子部品ユニットである。なお、電子部品20A,20Bの種類は、上記例に限定されない。電子部品20A,20Bは、同じ種類の部品でもよく、異なる種類の部品でもよい。電子部品20A,20Bは、例えば、通電時に発熱する発熱部品である。以下では、電子部品20A,20Bを区別しない場合、「電子部品20」と称する。
 図示の例では、第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、X方向に並べられている。第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、例えば、収容空間S1に露出した底壁11の表面上に配置されている。第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、底壁11に沿って配置されている。第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、例えば、底壁11に固定される。これに代えて、第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、周壁12または上壁13に沿って配置されてもよい。第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bは、周壁12または上壁13に固定されてもよい。
 (バスバー)
 バスバー30は、第1電子部品20Aと第2電子部品20Bとを電気的に接続する接続部材である。例えば、バスバー30の全体が筐体10内に収容されている。バスバー30は、「第1バスバー」の一例である。例えば、バスバーの全体が板状に形成されている。バスバー30は、例えば、第1端部31、第2端部32、および延伸部33を有する。
 第1端部31は、バスバー30の一端部に位置する。第1端部31は、例えば、延伸部33から+Z方向に突出している。第1端部31は、例えば、延伸部33の一端部から+Z方向に折り曲げられることで形成されている。第1端部31は、X方向(またはY方向)で第1電子部品20Aの端子部と隣り合う。第1端部31は、第1電子部品20Aの端子部に接続されている。第1端部31は、第1電子部品20Aに電気的および熱的に接続されている。
 第2端部32は、バスバー30の他端部に位置する。第2端部32は、例えば、延伸部33から+Z方向に突出している。第2端部32は、例えば、延伸部33の他端部から+Z方向に折り曲げられることで形成されている。第2端部32は、X方向(またはY方向)で第2電子部品20Bの端子部と隣り合う。第2端部32は、第2電子部品20Bの端子部に接続されている。第2端部32は、第2電子部品20Bに電気的および熱的に接続されている。
 延伸部33は、底壁11(第1部材15)に沿って延びた板状の部分である。延伸部33は、例えば、第1端部31と第2端部32とを繋ぐように、第1端部31と第2端部32との間を延びている。なお、延伸部33は、第1端部31と第2端部32との間に延びた部分に限られない。延伸部33は、例えば、第2端部32とは異なる方向に向いて第1端部31から延びた枝部でもよい。本実施形態では、延伸部33は、Z方向から見た場合に、底壁11の複数の貫通孔14と重なる。
 本実施形態では、延伸部33は、X方向に延びている。X方向は、延伸部33の延伸方向であり、「第2方向」の一例である。なお、延伸部33は、X方向からY方向に折れ曲がり、および/またはY方向からX方向に折れ曲がり延びていてもよい。この場合、第2方向は、折れ曲がりながら延伸部33に沿う方向である。
 (熱伝導部材)
 熱伝導部材40は、バスバー30から金属部材2に熱を伝える部材である。熱伝導部材40は、例えば、底壁11よりも熱伝導性が高い部材である。熱伝導部材40は、例えば、金属部材、熱伝導シート、熱伝導フィラー、熱伝導ペースト、熱伝導ゴム、またはこれらの組み合わせなどであるが、上述した例には限定されない。本実施形態では、複数の熱伝導部材40は、第1熱伝導部材40Aと、第2熱伝導部材40Bとを含む。以下では、第1熱伝導部材40Aと第2熱伝導部材40Bとを区別しない場合、単に「熱伝導部材40」と称する。
 熱伝導部材40は、Z方向で、バスバー30の延伸部33と、金属部材2との間に配置されている。本実施形態では、熱伝導部材40は、底壁11の貫通孔14内に配置されてバスバー30の延伸部33と接している。例えば、熱伝導部材40は、底壁11の貫通孔14内に隙間なく埋め込まれ、筐体10と一体となっている。これに代えて、熱伝導部材40と貫通孔14の内周面との間には隙間が存在してもよい。熱伝導部材40は、各貫通孔14に1つずつ設けられている。すなわち、熱伝導部材40は、各電子部品20に対応して1つずつ設けられている。
 バスバー30の延伸部33の延伸方向における熱伝導部材40の長さL2(熱伝導部材40の外形)は、バスバー30の延伸部33の延伸方向の長さL1(延伸部33の外形)よりも小さい。例えば、バスバー30の延伸部33の延伸方向における熱伝導部材40の長さL2(熱伝導部材40の外形)は、バスバー30の延伸部33の延伸方向の長さL1(延伸部33の外形)の半分よりも小さい。
 本実施形態では、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、Z方向から見た場合、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cと第1端部31との間で延伸部33と重なる。第1熱伝導部材40Aは、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cよりも、第1端部31の近くに偏って配置されている。例えば、第1端部31(または第1電子部品20A)と第1熱伝導部材40Aとの間の距離は、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cと第1熱伝導部材40Aとの間の距離よりも小さい。例えば、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、Z方向から見た場合、第1端部31または第1電子部品20Aと重なってもよい。
 同様に、第2熱伝導部材40Bは、Z方向から見た場合、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cと第2端部32との間で延伸部33と重なる。第2熱伝導部材40Bは、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cよりも、第2端部32の近くに偏って配置されている。例えば、第2端部32(または第2電子部品20B)と第2熱伝導部材40Bとの間の距離は、延伸部33の延伸方向の中央Cと第2熱伝導部材40Bとの間の距離よりも小さい。例えば、第2熱伝導部材40Bは、Z方向から見た場合、第2端部32または第2電子部品20Bと重なってもよい。
 (第2ジャンクションボックス)
 次に、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bについて説明する。
 図3は、図1に示された電気接続ユニットのIII-III線に沿う部分断面図である。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、例えば、筐体50と、複数の電子部品60と、バスバー70と、複数の熱伝導部材80とを備える。
 なお、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bの詳細は、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと同様である。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bの詳細は、例えば、上述した第1ジャンクションボックス4Aに係る説明において、「筐体10」を「筐体50」と読み替え、「電子部品20」を「電子部品60」と読み替え、「第1電子部品20A」を「第3電子部品60A」と読み替え、「第2電子部品20B」を「第4電子部品60B」と読み替え、「バスバー30」を「バスバー70」と読み替え、「熱伝導部材40」を「熱伝導部材80」と読み替え、「第1熱伝導部材40A」を「第3熱伝導部材80A」と読み替え、「第2熱伝導部材40B」を「第4熱伝導部材80B」と読み替えればよい。また、筐体10の「底壁11」、「周壁12」、「上壁13」、「第1部材15」、「第2部材16」、「収容空間S1」を、それぞれ、筐体50の「底壁51」、「周壁52」、「上壁53」、「第3部材55」、「第4部材56」、「収容空間S2」と読み替えればよい。収容空間S2は、「第2収容空間」の一例である。また、バスバー30の「第1端部31」、「第2端部32」、「延伸部33」を、それぞれ、バスバー70の「第1端部71」、「第2端部72」、「延伸部73」と読み替えればよい。バスバー70は、「第2バスバー」の一例である。
 第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bとが電気的に接続されていてもよいし、電気的に接続されていなくてもよい。収容空間S1と収容空間S2とは、例えば、分離されている。
 本実施形態では、金属部材2は、筐体10の第1部材15に対して、第2部材16とは反対側(-Z方向側)に位置する。同様に、金属部材2は、筐体50の第3部材55に対して、第4部材56とは反対側(-Z方向側)に位置する。金属部材2は、Z方向から見た場合、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bと重なる。
 (絶縁部)
 絶縁部5は、電子部品20,60と金属部材2との間に配置され、電子部品20,60と金属部材2とを絶縁している。また、絶縁部5は、バスバー30,70と金属部材2との間に配置され、バスバー30,70と金属部材2とを絶縁している。また、絶縁部5は、熱伝導部材40,80と金属部材2との間に配置され、熱伝導部材40,80と金属部材2とを絶縁している。
 絶縁部5は、例えば、筐体10,50の底壁11,51と金属部材2との間に配置されている。絶縁部5は、金属部材2、底壁11,51、及び熱伝導部材40,80に隙間なく密着している。絶縁部5は、X方向およびY方向に沿う絶縁シートである。絶縁部5は、Z方向から見て、筐体10,50の底壁11,51と同形状及び同定度の大きさに形成されている。絶縁部5は、筐体10,50の底壁11,51の全体を-Z方向から覆っている。絶縁部5は、例えば、熱伝導部材40,80と金属部材2との間に介在され、熱伝導部材40,80と金属部材2とにそれぞれ密着している。
 なお、絶縁部5は、筐体10,50の底壁11,51と金属部材2との間に配置されることに代えて、筐体10,50の内部に設けられてもよい。例えば、絶縁部5は、筐体10,50の底壁11,51とバスバー30,70との間に設けられてもよい。
 (作用)
 第1ジャンクションボックス4Aは、Z方向でバスバー30の延伸部33と金属部材2との間に配置された熱伝導部材40を備える。このため、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aの第1電子部品20Aによる発熱の一部は、バスバー30の延伸部33に伝えられる。第1電子部品20Aからバスバー30の延伸部33に伝えられる熱の一部は、第1熱伝導部材40Aを通じて筐体10の外部の金属部材2に伝えられる。金属部材2に伝えられた熱は、筐体10の外部に放散される。同様に、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aの第2電子部品20Bによる発熱の一部は、バスバー30の延伸部33に伝えられる。第2電子部品20Bからバスバー30の延伸部33に伝えられる熱の一部は、第2熱伝導部材40Bを通じて筐体10の外部の金属部材2に伝えられる。金属部材2に伝えられた熱は、筐体10の外部に放散される。このような熱の流れは、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bについても同様である。
 (利点)
 ここで比較例として、熱伝導部材40を有しないジャンクションボックス4について考える。このような比較例の構成では、通電時に電子部品20が発する熱は、電子部品20からバスバー30に移動し、バスバー30から筐体10内の空気中へ放散される。
 ところで今後、電動車両の運転可能距離の伸長または充電時間の短縮などに起因して電動車両における通電時間および/または通電電流値が増加することが予想される。通電時間および/または通電電流値が増加すると、ジャンクションボックス4での発熱量が増加する。この場合、バスバー30から筐体10内の空気中へ放散だけでは、電子部品20の温度上昇が大きくなる場合が生じる可能性がある。
 そこで本実施形態では、電気接続ユニット1は、第1部材15と、第2部材16と、第1電子部品20Aと、第2電子部品20Bと、バスバー30と、金属部材2と、第1熱伝導部材40Aとを有する。第2部材16は、第1部材15との間に収容空間S1を形成する。第1電子部品20Aは、収容空間S1に配置される。第2電子部品20Bは、収容空間S1に配置される。バスバー30は、第1端部31と、第2端部32と、延伸部33とを有する。第1端部31は、第1電子部品20Aに電気的に接続される。第2端部32は、第2電子部品20Bに電気的に接続される。延伸部33は、板状であり、第1部材15に沿って延びている。金属部材2は、第1部材15に対して第2部材16とは反対側に配置される。金属部材2は、第1部材15に沿って延びた板部2pを含む。第1熱伝導部材40Aは、第1部材15と第2部材16とが対向する方向を第1方向とする場合、第1方向で延伸部33と金属部材2との間に配置される。第1熱伝導部材40Aは、延伸部33の延伸方向を第2方向とする場合、第2方向で延伸部33よりも小さな外形を有する。第1熱伝導部材40Aは、前記第1方向から見た場合に、延伸部33の第2方向の中央Cよりも第1端部31の近くに偏った位置で延伸部33と重なる。
 このような構成によれば、例えば第1電子部品20Aの発する熱の一部を、第1熱伝導部材40Aにより金属部材2に伝え、金属部材2を通じて放散させることができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性の向上を図ることができる。
 ここで、例えば電気接続ユニット1の温度が上昇すると、第1部材15と金属部材2との線膨張係数の違いにより第1部材15および金属部材2の熱膨張量に違いが生じることがある。第1部材15および金属部材2の膨張量に違いが生じると、第1部材15と金属部材2との間にX方向またはY方向のせん断力が作用する場合がある。
 しかしながら本実施形態の上記構成によれば、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、第2方向に関してバスバー30の延伸部33よりも小さな外形を有する。このため、第1部材15と金属部材2の間にせん断力が作用する場合でも、バスバー30の全長よりも大きな熱伝導部材が配置される場合と比べて、第1熱伝導部材40Aに作用する負荷が小さく、電気接続ユニット1の製品寿命を延ばすことができる。一方で、本実施形態では、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、第1方向から見た場合に、バスバー30の延伸部33の第2方向の中央Cよりも第1端部31の近くの位置で延伸部33と重なる。すなわち、第1電子部品20Aの比較的近くで第1熱伝導部材40Aがバスバー30の延伸部33と重なる。このため、上述したような小さな第1熱伝導部材40Aが設けられる場合でも、第1電子部品20Aに生じる熱を効率的に金属部材2に逃がすことができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性の向上を図ることができる。
 別観点によれば、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、第2方向に関してバスバー30の延伸部33の半分よりも小さな外形を有する。このため、第1部材15と金属部材2の間にせん断力が作用する場合でも、バスバー30の全長よりも大きな熱伝導部材が配置される場合と比べて、第1熱伝導部材40Aに作用する負荷が小さく、電気接続ユニット1の製品寿命を延ばすことができる。一方で、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、第1方向から見た場合に、バスバー30の延伸部33の第2方向の中央Cと第1端部31との間で延伸部33と重なる。すなわち、第1電子部品20Aの比較的近くで第1熱伝導部材40Aがバスバー30の延伸部33と重なる。このため、上述したような小さな第1熱伝導部材40Aが設けられる場合でも、第1電子部品20Aに生じる熱を効率的に金属部材2に逃がすことができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性の向上を図ることができる。
 本実施形態では、第1電子部品20Aおよび第2電子部品20Bは、第1部材15に沿って配置されている。このような構成によれば、バスバー30の延伸部33を第1部材15に沿って配置しやすくなる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1のさらなる放熱性の向上を図ることができる。
 本実施形態では、第2熱伝導部材40Bは、第1方向でバスバー30の延伸部33と金属部材2との間に配置される。第2熱伝導部材40Bは、第2方向でバスバー30の延伸部33よりも小さな外形を有する。第2熱伝導部材40Bは、第1熱伝導部材40Aから離れて配置される。第2熱伝導部材40Bは、バスバー30の延伸部33の第2方向の中央Cと第2端部32との間で延伸部33と重なる。このような構成によれば、第1部材15と金属部材2の間にせん断力が作用する場合でも、バスバー30の全長よりも大きな熱伝導部材が配置される場合と比べて、第2熱伝導部材40Bに作用する負荷が小さく、電気接続ユニット1の製品寿命を延ばすことができる。一方で、本実施形態では、第2熱伝導部材40Bがバスバー30の延伸部33の第2方向の中央Cと第2端部32との間で延伸部33と重なる。すなわち、第2電子部品20Bの比較的近くで第2熱伝導部材40Bがバスバー30の延伸部33と重なる。このため、上述したような小さな第2熱伝導部材40Bが設けられる場合でも、第2電子部品20Bに生じる熱を効率的に金属部材2に逃がすことができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性のさらなる向上を図ることができる。
 本実施形態では、第1部材15は、当該第1部材15を第1方向に貫通した貫通孔14を有する。第1熱伝導部材40Aは、貫通孔14に配置されている。このような構成によれば、第1熱伝導部材40Aによってバスバー30の熱を金属部材2により伝えやすくなる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性のさらなる向上を図ることができる。
 例えば、第1熱伝導部材40Aと貫通孔14の内周面との間に隙間が存在すると、上記せん断力が第1熱伝導部材40Aにより作用しにくくなる。例えば、第1部材15と比べて第1熱伝導部材40Aの弾性率が大きい材料(弾性変形しやすい材料)で形成される場合、上記せん断力が第1熱伝導部材40Aにより作用しにくくなる。
 本実施形態では、電気接続ユニット1は、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bとを有する。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aとは電気的な機能または外部の接続先のうち少なくとも一方が異なる。第1ジャンクションボックス4Aは、第1部材15と、第2部材16と、第1電子部品20Aと、第2電子部品20Bと、バスバー30と、第1熱伝導部材40Aとを含む。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、第3部材55と、第4部材56と、第3電子部品60Aと、バスバー70とを含む。第4部材56は、第3部材55との間に収容空間S2を形成する。第3電子部品60Aは、第3部材55と第4部材56との間に配置される。バスバー70は、第3電子部品60Aに電気的に接続される。金属部材2は、第1方向から見た場合、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bと重なる。このような構成によれば、複数のジャンクションボックス4と重なる広い放熱面積を有する金属部材2を用いて、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aの第1電子部品20Aから第1熱伝導部材40Aを介して金属部材2に伝わる熱を放散させることができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性のさらなる向上を図ることができる。
 また、上記構成によれば、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bを1つの金属部材2によって支持しやすくなる。これにより、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aと第2ジャンクションボックス4Bとを一体に取り扱いやすくなる。
 本実施形態では、第2ジャンクションボックス4Bのバスバー70は、第3部材55に沿って延びた板状の延伸部73を含む。第2ジャンクションボックス4Bは、第1方向でバスバー70の延伸部73と金属部材2との間に配置された第3熱伝導部材80Aをさらに有する。このような構成によれば、第3熱伝導部材80Aによって、第3電子部品60Aが発する熱の一部をバスバー70の延伸部73から金属部材2に伝えることができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性のさらなる向上を図ることができる。
 本実施形態では、金属部材2は、Z方向に交差する方向に延在する板状に形成されている。このような金属部材2の板形状により、電気接続ユニット1は、Z方向に大型化することを抑制しつつ、金属部材2による筐体10の外部への放熱効果を発揮することができる。また、電気接続ユニット1の取付性が向上される。
 本実施形態では、第1熱伝導部材40Aは、バスバー30の延伸部33に接している。第1熱伝導部材40Aがバスバー30の延伸部33に接していることにより、第1熱伝導部材40Aから金属部材2へ熱をより伝えやすくなる。
 本実施形態では、電気接続ユニット1は、金属部材2と電子部品20との間に配置された絶縁部5を備える。絶縁部5は、金属部材2と電子部品20とを絶縁する。電気接続ユニット1は、絶縁部5によって、電子部品20から金属部材2への電流のリークを抑制することができる。
<第2実施形態>
 以下、第2実施形態について、図面を用いて説明する。第2実施形態の構成のうち、第1実施形態の構成と共通する構成については、同一の名称及び同一の符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。なお以下に説明する以外の構成は、第1実施形態の構成と同じである。
 (電気接続ユニット)
 図4は、第2実施形態の電気接続ユニット1を示す部分断面図である。第2実施形態の電気接続ユニット1は、第1実施形態で上述した構成に加え、冷却機構7と、熱伝導部材8とをさらに備える。
 (冷却機構)
 冷却機構7は、金属部材2の放熱を促進する機構である。冷却機構7は、金属部材2に対してZ方向に積層されている。冷却機構7は、金属部材2の搭載面2aとは反対側の面に取り付けられている。冷却機構7は、金属部材2を冷却する。冷却機構7として、例えば車体側に取り付けられる水冷プレート等が挙げられる。冷却機構7は、電池パック等の取付体6に取り付けられている。
 本実施形態では、金属部材2の板部2pは、冷却機構7に取り付けられる固定部2fを有する。金属部材2の固定部2fは、固定具3が取り付けられる取付孔2hを有する。固定具3は、例えば、金属部材2の取付孔2hを通されて冷却機構7に係合する。固定具3は、例えばボルトである。
 (熱伝導部材)
 熱伝導部材8は、金属部材2と冷却機構7との間に配置されている。熱伝導部材8は、金属部材2と冷却機構7とに熱的に接続されている。熱伝導部材8は、金属部材2の熱を冷却機構7に伝える。熱伝導部材8は、例えば、熱伝導シートや、熱伝導ペースト(グリス)、熱伝導ゴム等の熱伝導性を有した絶縁材料である。熱伝導部材8は、金属部材2のZ方向で搭載面2aとは反対側の表面上に配置されている。熱伝導部材8は、例えば、金属部材2と冷却機構7とによってZ方向に圧縮されて、金属部材2と冷却機構7とを隙間なく密着させている。熱伝導部材8は、Z方向から見て、筐体10の底壁11と同形状及び同定度の大きさに形成されている。熱伝導部材8は、熱伝導部材40の全体及び絶縁部5の全体とZ方向に重なっている。
 (利点)
 本実施形態では、電気接続ユニット1は、金属部材2を冷却する冷却機構7と、金属部材2と冷却機構7との間に配置されて金属部材2と冷却機構7とに熱的に接続され熱伝導部材8とをさらに備える。電気接続ユニット1は、金属部材2に伝えられた熱を、熱伝導部材8を介して冷却機構7に伝達することができる。これにより、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性のさらなる向上を図ることができる。
 <その他の変形例>
 上述の各実施形態の例では、X方向とY方向とZ方向とは、互いに直交する方向である。なお、X方向とY方向とZ方向とは、交差していればよく、互いに直交していなくてもよい。また、Z方向が「上下方向」であるとしたが、Z方向は「上下方向」でなくてもよい。例えばZ方向は、「上下方向」に対して傾斜する方向であってもよいし、「水平方向」であってもよい。また、+Z方向が上方向であり、-Z方向が下方向であるとしたが、+Z方向が下方向であり、-Z方向が上方向であってもよい。
 熱伝導部材40は、熱伝導シートや、熱伝導ペースト(グリス)、熱伝導ゴム等の熱伝導性を有した絶縁材料であってもよい。この場合、熱伝導部材40によって、電子部品20から金属部材2への電流リークが抑制されるので、絶縁部5が不要となる。この場合、熱伝導部材40は、金属部材2とバスバー30との両方に直接に接する。
 また、バスバー30は、筐体10の外部に引き出され、筐体10の外部で熱伝導部材40と熱的に接続されてもよい。筐体10の外部に引き出されるバスバー30は、電子部品20と直接接続されず、例えばジャンクションボックス4の入出力部に接続されてもよい。
 上述した各実施形態の例では、冷却機構7は、例えば車体側に取り付けられる水冷プレートである。なお、冷却機構7は、放熱フィン等の放熱構造を有した別部材や、水以外の液冷式の冷却機構7であってもよい。
 上述した各実施形態では、金属部材2は、第1方向から見た場合、第1ジャンクションボックス4Aおよび第2ジャンクションボックス4Bと重なる広い放熱面積を有することで、電気接続ユニット1の放熱性の向上を図ることができる。この観点によれば、熱伝導部材40の第2方向の外形が延伸部33のよりも小さいことは必須ではない。また、熱伝導部材40が延伸部33の第2方向の中央よりも第1端部31の近くに偏った位置で延伸部33と重なることも必須ではない。
 本開示によれば、電気接続ユニットの放熱性の向上を図ることができる。

Claims (9)

  1.  第1部材と、
     前記第1部材との間に収容空間を形成する第2部材と、
     前記収容空間に配置された第1電子部品と、
     前記収容空間に配置された第2電子部品と、
     前記第1電子部品に電気的に接続された第1端部と、前記第2電子部品に電気的に接続された第2端部と、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板状の延伸部とを含む第1バスバーと、
     前記第1部材に対して前記第2部材とは反対側に配置され、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板部を含む金属部材と、
     前記第1部材と前記第2部材とが対向する方向を第1方向とし、前記延伸部の延伸方向を第2方向とする場合、前記第1方向で前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置され、前記第2方向に関して前記延伸部よりも小さな外形を有し、前記第1方向から見た場合に前記延伸部の前記第2方向の中央よりも前記第1端部の近くに偏った位置で前記延伸部と重なる第1熱伝導部材と、
     を備えた電気接続ユニット。
  2.  前記第1電子部品および前記第2電子部品は、前記第1部材に沿って配置されている、
     請求項1に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  3.  前記第1方向で前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置され、前記第2方向で前記延伸部よりも小さな外形を有し、前記第1熱伝導部材から離れて、前記延伸部の前記第2方向の中央と前記第2端部との間で前記延伸部と重なる第2熱伝導部材をさらに備えた、
     請求項1または請求項2に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  4.  前記第1部材は、当該第1部材を前記第1方向に貫通した貫通孔を有し、
     前記第1熱伝導部材は、前記貫通孔に配置されている、
     請求項1または請求項2に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  5.  前記金属部材は、冷却機構に取り付けられる固定部を有した、
     請求項1または請求項2に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  6.  第1電気接続モジュールと、
     前記第1電気接続モジュールとは電気的な機能または外部の接続先のうち少なくとも一方が異なる第2電気接続モジュールと、
     を備え、
     前記第1電気接続モジュールは、前記第1部材と、前記第2部材と、前記第1電子部品と、前記第2電子部品と、前記第1バスバーと、前記第1熱伝導部材とを含み、
     前記第2電気接続モジュールは、第3部材と、前記第3部材との間に収容空間を形成する第4部材と、前記第3部材と前記第4部材との間に配置された第3電子部品と、前記第3電子部品に電気的に接続され第2バスバーとを含み、
     前記金属部材は、前記第1方向から見た場合、前記第1電気接続モジュールおよび前記第2電気接続モジュールと重なる、
     請求項1または請求項2に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  7.  前記第2バスバーは、前記第3部材に沿って延びた板状の延伸部を含み、
     前記第2電気接続モジュールは、前記第1方向で前記第2バスバーの前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置された第3熱伝導部材をさらに含む、
     請求項6に記載の電気接続ユニット。
  8.  第1部材と、
     前記第1部材との間に収容空間を形成する第2部材と、
     前記収容空間に配置された第1電子部品と、
     前記収容空間に配置された第2電子部品と、
     前記第1電子部品に電気的に接続された第1端部と、前記第2電子部品に電気的に接続された第2端部と、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板状の延伸部とを含む第1バスバーと、
     前記第1部材に対して前記第2部材とは反対側に配置され、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板部を含む金属部材と、
     前記第1部材と前記第2部材とが対向する方向を第1方向とし、前記延伸部の延伸方向を第2方向とする場合、前記第1方向で前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置され、前記第2方向に関して前記延伸部の半分よりも小さな外形を有し、前記延伸部の前記第2方向の中央と前記第1端部との間で前記延伸部と重なる第1熱伝導部材と、
     を備えた電気接続ユニット。
  9.  第1電気接続モジュールと、
     前記第1電気接続モジュールとは電気的な機能または外部の接続先のうち少なくとも一方が異なる第2電気接続モジュールと、
     金属部材と、
     を備え、
     前記第1電気接続モジュールは、
     第1部材と、
     前記第1部材との間に第1収容空間を形成する第2部材と、
     前記第1収容空間に配置された第1電子部品と、
     前記第1収容空間に配置された第2電子部品と、
     前記第1電子部品に電気的に接続された第1端部と、前記第2電子部品に電気的に接続された第2端部と、前記第1部材に沿って延びた板状の延伸部とを含む第1バスバーと、
     前記第1部材と前記第2部材とが対向する方向を第1方向とする場合、前記第1方向で前記延伸部と前記金属部材との間に配置された第1熱伝導部材と、
     を有し、
     前記第2電気接続モジュールは、
     第3部材と、
     前記第3部材との間に第2収容空間を形成する第4部材と、
     前記第2収容空間に配置された第3電子部品と、
     前記第3電子部品に電気的に接続された第2バスバーと、
     を有し、
     前記金属部材は、前記第1方向から見た場合、前記第1電気接続モジュールおよび前記第2電気接続モジュールと重なる、
