- Patent Documents 1 and 2 describe recycling three-dimensional mesh structures.
- a new three-dimensional mesh structure is produced by cutting a used three-dimensional mesh structure, melting it into pellets, and then further melting and spinning the resulting pellets, the repeated heating can cause some of the resin to deteriorate, resulting in a decrease in the durability of the recycled three-dimensional mesh structure.
- the many small pieces obtained by cutting a used three-dimensional mesh structure are transported through a pipe, the small pieces can become trapped within the pipe.
- the present invention was made in light of the above circumstances, and its object is to provide a raw material for producing a recycled three-dimensional mesh structure that is easy to transport through a pipe and is resistant to deterioration in durability. - having a number of bonded fibers of 1 to 700 per 1.0 g makes it easier to transport the raw material inside the pipe used to supply the raw material to an extruder, for example. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the raw material is used directly, i.e., the raw material is used to manufacture the three-dimensional mesh structure without being pelletized, which reduces deterioration caused by heating, and as a result, the durability of the resulting recycled three-dimensional mesh structure is less likely to decrease.

Furthermore, by using fiber fragments F-4 directly as a raw material, the deterioration of the mechanical properties of the resulting recycled three-dimensional reticulated structure was suppressed.
- the resulting group of fiber pieces F-5 was placed into the loading tank 2 shown in Figure 2, and an attempt was made to air-transport them through the raw material supply piping to the auxiliary material storage tank 3 located above the extruder 6; however, the fiber pieces F-5 became trapped in the piping during air transport, preventing air transport.
- the resulting group of fiber pieces F-5 was then manually placed into the auxiliary material storage tank 3, and an attempt was made to supply the group of fiber pieces F-5 from the auxiliary material storage tank 3 to the extruder 6; however, as the group of fiber pieces F-5 fell through the piping from the auxiliary material storage tank 3 to the extruder 6, they became trapped in the piping and could not be supplied to the extruder 6.
