転がり軸受
 この発明は、転がり軸受に関する。
 例えば、電気自動車等の電動アクスルユニット(いわゆるe-Axle)の駆動モータや減速機に備わる軸を転がり軸受でハウジングに対して回転自在に支持する場合、内輪の内径面又は外輪の外径面を嵌合相手である軸又はハウジングにすきまばめすることがある。
 近年、電動アクスルユニットのコンパクト化のため、ハウジングの薄肉化が進められている。外輪の外径面とハウジングがすきまばめされる場合、ハウジングが薄肉化されると、転がり軸受の荷重負荷圏における外輪とハウジングの接触領域が周方向に長くなる。このため、転がり軸受の回転中に外輪の外径面に発生する進行波により外輪がハウジングに対して転動体の公転方向に移送させられる機序のクリープが発生する懸念は高くなる。この機序のクリープを抑制する対策として、内輪の内径面(軸に対する嵌め合い面)又は外輪の外径面(ハウジングに対する嵌め合い面)を全幅に亘って分断するように逃げ面を形成することが提案されている(特許文献1~3)。
 特許文献1~3で提案された逃げ面は、内輪の内径面又は外輪の外径面に接する仮想円に対して径方向深さを有し、相手部材である軸又はハウジングとの間に径方向隙間を形成する。転がり軸受に最大のラジアル荷重が負荷された場合でも、逃げ面と相手部材との間に径方向の隙間が残る。このため、前述の機序のクリープが発生しても、クリープによって内輪又は外輪の逃げ面が荷重負荷圏に到達すると、逃げ面のところで進行波が遮断されるので、クリープが抑制される。

 近年、電動アクスルユニットの駆動モータは、インバータ制御され、その駆動力の高出力化が進められている。このため、将来的には、駆動モータ及び減速機を収容するハウジングと、駆動モータの軸や減速機の軸との間で発生する電位差が高くなり、その軸をハウジングに対して支持する転がり軸受の転動体と軌道面間で放電が起こり、転動体や軌道面に電食が発生する懸念が高まることが予想される。
 特許文献1~3においては、転がり軸受の電食を抑制することについて言及されていない。
 特許文献1においては、内輪又は外輪を削って逃げ面を形成することが開示されているに過ぎない。
 特許文献2においては、軌道面等を含む金属輪の内周部又は外周部にリン酸塩処理で下地膜を形成し、樹脂ベースバインダーにPTFEを混在させた樹脂固体潤滑剤を下地膜上に一回塗り又は重ね塗りするか、下地膜を省いて金属輪の内周面又は外周面に樹脂固体潤滑剤を一回又は重ね塗りことにより、内輪の内径面及び逃げ面又は外輪の外径面及び逃げ面を形成することが開示されている。この場合、それらリン酸塩の下地膜や樹脂固体潤滑膜は絶縁を有するので、結果的に、内輪の内周部と軸間又は外輪の外周部とハウジング間が絶縁されることはあり得る。
 しかしながら、特許文献2に開示された転がり軸受は、内輪の内径面及び逃げ面又は外輪の外径面及び逃げ面を樹脂固体潤滑膜等で形成しただけであり、内輪の幅面又は外輪の幅面を塗膜等で覆っていない。電動アクスルユニットのモータ軸や減速機の伝達軸を支持する転がり軸受は、一般に、内輪の幅面又は外輪の幅面が対応の軸の突き合い部又はハウジングの突き合い部に軸方向に支持される。このような軸受支持構造に特許文献2に開示された転がり軸受を採用した場合、内輪の幅面又は外輪の幅面と対応の軸又はハウジング間で絶縁されないため、前述の電食を抑制することができない。
 特許文献3においては、内輪又は外輪を金属輪と肉盛り部材とで構成し、肉盛り部材を金属輪に固定することで内輪の内径面及び逃げ面又は外輪の外径面及び逃げ面を形成し、その肉盛り部材を樹脂の一体成形品とした転がり軸受が開示されている。この転がり軸受を前述の軸受支持構造に採用した場合、結果的に、内輪の内周部と軸間又は外輪の外周部とハウジング間が絶縁されることはあり得るが、内輪の幅面又は外輪の幅面と対応の軸の突き合い部又はハウジングの突き合い部間で絶縁されないため、やはり前述の電食を抑制することができない。
 上述の背景に鑑み、この発明が解決しようとする課題は、進行波型の内輪又は外輪のクリープの抑制と内外輪及び転動体の電食の抑制とを両立させることが可能で電動アクスルユニットに好適な転がり軸受を提供することにある。
 上記の課題を達成するため、この発明は、第一の軌道面を含む第一の外周部と、円周方向に沿った内径面を含む第一の内周部と、前記第一の外周部と前記第一の内周部との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第一の幅面とを有する内輪と、第二の軌道面を含む第二の内周部と、円周方向に沿った外径面を含む第二の外周部と、前記第二の内周部と前記第二の外周部との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第二の幅面とを有する外輪と、前記第一の軌道面と前記第二の軌道面との間に配置された複数の転動体とを備え、前記第一の内周部と前記第二の外周部のうちの一方の周部が、前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面に対して径方向深さを有しかつ前記内径面又は前記外径面を全幅に亘って分断する逃げ面をさらに含み、前記内輪又は前記外輪が、前記内輪の前記第一の軌道面又は前記外輪の前記第二の軌道面を含む金属輪と、前記金属輪を覆う樹脂部とを有する転がり軸受において、前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面と、前記逃げ面と、前記一方の周部に連続する前記第一の幅面又は前記第二の幅面とが、前記樹脂部によって形成されている、という構成1を採用した。
 上記構成1によると、逃げ面を含む一方の周部である内輪の第一の内周部又は外輪の第二の外周部を対応の軸又はハウジングにすきまばめすることが可能である。そうすると、その逃げ面と対応の軸又はハウジングとの間に径方向隙間が生じる。このため、当該第一の内周部又は当該第二の外周部に生じる進行波を逃げ面のところで遮断し、進行波による当該内輪又は当該外輪のクリープを抑制することが可能である。また、一方の周部を有する当該内輪又は当該外輪と対応の軸又はハウジングとの間を樹脂部で絶縁するとともに、当該内輪の第一の幅面又は当該外輪の第二の幅面と対応の軸の突き合い部又はハウジングの突き合い部との間でも樹脂部で絶縁することが可能である。したがって、電動アクスルユニットで採用されているような軸受支持構造においても内外輪及び転動体の電食を抑制することが可能である。このように、上記構成1によると、進行波型の内輪又は外輪のクリープの抑制と内外輪及び転動体の電食の抑制とを両立させることが可能で電動アクスルユニットに好適な転がり軸受を提供することができる。
 上記構成1において、前記樹脂部が前記金属輪と一体化している、という構成2を採用することができる。
 上記構成2によると、製造コストを抑えた内輪又は外輪にすることができる。
 上記構成2において、前記樹脂部にウェルドを含まない、という構成3を採用することができる。
 上記構成3によると、脆弱部となるウェルドが樹脂部に含まれないため、樹脂部の割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 上記構成2において、前記逃げ面にゲート痕があり、前記逃げ面にウェルドを含まない、という構成4を採用することができる。
 上記構成4によると、逃げ面の割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 上記構成1から4のいずれか1つにおいて、前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面を覆う樹脂部が、周方向に延びる溝を含む、という構成5を採用することができる。
 一般に、電動アクスルユニットでは、転がり軸受の外部から転がり軸受の側面に油を供給する跳ねかけ、油浴等の油潤滑方式で転がり軸受が使用される。上記構成5を採用する、転がり軸受の側面に供給された油が軸又はハウジングとすきまばめされた一方の周部の溝に入り込み、一方の周部に含まれた内径面又は外径面と、対応の軸又はハウジングとの間に広がる。このため、一方の周部を有する内輪又は外輪がクリープしても、その内径面又は外径面や対応の軸又はハウジングの摩耗を防止することができる。
 上記構成5において、前記溝が前記逃げ面に交差する、という構成6を採用することができる。
 上記構成6によると、前述の油が豊富な径方向隙間から溝で油を導き、一方の周部と対応の軸又はハウジングとの間の潤滑に貢献させることができる。
 上記構成1から6のいずれか1つにおいて、前記逃げ面の径方向深さが0.1mm以上2.5mm以下である、という構成7を採用することができる。
 上記構成7によると、電動アクスルユニットの駆動モータや減速機に組み込まれる一般的な転がり軸受の内径、荷重条件において逃げ面と対応の軸又はハウジングとの間に径方向隙間を確保することができる。
 上記構成1から7のいずれか1つにおいて、前記樹脂部が少なくとも0.8mmの厚さを有する、という構成8を採用することができる。
 上記構成8によると、電動アクスルユニット用途に十分な絶縁性能を樹脂部で実現することができる。
 上記構成1から8のいずれか1つにおいて、電動アクスルユニットに備わる回転軸とハウジングとの間に配置されている、という構成9を採用することができる。
 上述のように、この発明は、上記構成1の採用により、進行波型の内輪又は外輪のクリープの抑制と内外輪及び転動体の電食の抑制とを両立させることが可能で電動アクスルユニットに好適な転がり軸受を提供することができる。

 この発明に係る一例としての第一実施形態に係る転がり軸受を添付図面の図1から図4に基づいて説明する。
 図1、図2に示す転がり軸受1は、回転軸100と、ハウジング110との間に配置されている。転がり軸受1の軸受内径は、例えば30mmから45mmの範囲とすることができる。
 ここでは、転がり軸受1の軸受中心軸に沿った方向のことを「軸方向」という。また、その軸受中心軸回りに一周する円周に沿った方向のことを「円周方向」という。また、その軸受中心軸に直交する方向のことを「径方向」という。
 ハウジング110は、自動車用の電動アクスルユニットに備わる交流駆動モータ、減速機等を収容するものであり、モータケース部、ギアケース部等を含む一又は複数の部材からなる。回転軸100は、ハウジング110に対して回転するものであり、前述の交流駆動モータのモータ軸、又は減速機の伝達軸である。
 転がり軸受1の側面に油が供給される。
 回転軸100とハウジング110は、それぞれ円周方向に延びる円筒面状の軸受座面101、111を有する。なお、図1、図2において、転がり軸受1の軸受中心軸と、軸受座面101、111の各中心線とは同軸上に位置する。
 転がり軸受1は、内輪10と、外輪20と、複数の転動体30と、これら転動体30を保持する保持器40とを備える。転がり軸受1は、ハウジング110に対して回転軸100を回転自在に支持し、回転軸100とハウジング110間で作用するラジアル荷重を受ける。図2では、転がり軸受1の運転中、軸受座面101、110間で転がり軸受1に一方向のラジアル荷重Fが負荷される場合を例示している。
 内輪10は、第一の軌道面11aを含む第一の外周部11と、円周方向に沿った内径面12aを含む第一の内周部12と、第一の外周部11と第一の内周部12との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第一の幅面13、13とを有する。二つの第一の幅面13、13は、内輪10の軸方向幅の両端上に位置し、それぞれ径方向に沿った円環面状になっている。第一の幅面13、13の外周縁は第一の外周部11と交差し、第一の幅面13、13の内周縁は第一の内周部12と交差している。
 内輪10の内径面12aと回転軸100の軸受座面101は、しまりばめされている。
 外輪20は、第二の軌道面21aを含む第二の内周部21と、円周方向に沿った外径面22aを含む第二の外周部22と、第二の内周部21と第二の外周部22との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第二の幅面23、23とを有する。二つの第二の幅面23、23は、外輪20の軸方向幅の両端上に位置し、それぞれ径方向に沿った円環面状になっている。第二の幅面23、23の外周縁は第二の外周部22と交差し、第二の幅面23、23の内周縁は第二の内周部21と交差している。
 外輪20の外径面22aとハウジング110の軸受座面111とは、すきまばめされている。外輪20の一端側の第二の幅面23は、ハウジング110に設けられた突き合い部112によって軸方向に支持される。
 転動体30は、玉からなる。
 第一の軌道面11aと第二の軌道面21aは、それぞれ断面円弧状の軌道溝になっている。
 転がり軸受1は、深溝玉軸受に構成されている。
 外輪20の第二の外周部22は、外径面22aを軸方向の全幅に亘って分断する逃げ面22bをさらに含む。逃げ面22bは、外径面22aに対して径方向深さδを有する。径方向深さδは、外径面22aに接する仮想円VCから逃げ面22bまでの径方向間隔に相当する。
 図3に示すように、逃げ面22bの径方向深さδは、外径面22aの径寸に対して逃げ面22bの円周方向長さの中央部で最大となり、かつ当該中央部から円周方向に遠い位置である程に小さく設定されている。
 外輪20は、外径面22aにおいてハウジング110の軸受座面111に径方向に支持される。逃げ面22bは、図1、図2に示すように、逃げ面22bとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間に径方向隙間gを生じさせる。その径方向隙間gは、外輪20の第二の外周部22とハウジング110の軸受座面111との間を軸方向に貫通する空間である。なお、図1、図2の径方向隙間g、図3の最大の径方向深さδは、それぞれ図示する大きさを誇張して描いている。
 転動体30にラジアル荷重が負荷される転がり軸受1の荷重負荷圏は、転がり軸受1の略半周に及ぶ。その荷重負荷圏の円周方向中央部は、最大転動体荷重となる位置であり、そのラジアル荷重Fの荷重方向に対応する(図1においてラジアル荷重Fの矢線方向延長上の位置に相当)。外輪20の第二の外周部22は、その荷重負荷圏において転動体30を介してラジアル荷重を第二の軌道面21aで受けるため、波状に弾性変形する。その波状の径方向高さは、その荷重負荷圏の円周方向中央部で最大となり、その円周方向中央部から遠くなる程に小さくなる。
 逃げ面22bは、転がり軸受1に所定のラジアル荷重Fが負荷された場合の荷重負荷圏において、逃げ面22bとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間に全幅に亘って非接触領域を確保することができるように形成すればよい。電動アクスルユニットのモータ軸、減速機の伝達軸を支持する玉軸受の場合、一般に、(玉軸受に負荷される等価荷重:P/玉軸受の基本動定格荷重:C)≦0.4を満足する範囲内でラジアル荷重が負荷される。したがって、前述の所定のラジアル荷重Fとして、転がり軸受1のP/C=0.4を想定しておけば、一般に、前述の非接触領域を確保することができると考えられる。
 図3に示す逃げ面22bの最大の径方向深さδは、最大のラジアル荷重Fを負荷された場合の転がり軸受1の荷重負荷圏において、前述の波状の最大の径方向高さよりも大きく設定されている。また、逃げ面22bの径方向深さは、前述の円周方向位置に応じた波状の径方向高さ減少分を超えないように、逃げ面22bの円周方向長さの中央部から外径面22aの端eに向かって次第に小さくなっている。
 図示例において、逃げ面22bは、円孤面状の外径面22aの円周方向両端e,e間に連続し、軸方向に沿った略円弧面状に形成されている。その略円弧面状の曲率半径は、外径面22aよりも大きく、その略円弧面状の中心線(曲率中心)は、外径面22aの中心線から径方向の一方向(図3において下方向)にずれた位置に設定されている。
 逃げ面22bの円周方向長さは、軸受中心軸回りの角度αで規定することができる。ここで、図1に示す転動体30間のピッチ角度をθとしたとき、図3に示す逃げ面22bの円周方向長さに対応の角度αは、例えば、0<α≦2θに設定することができる。ラジアル荷重によって外輪20のたわんだ際にも外輪20とハウジング110の軸受座面111とが接触しないようにするため、0.5θ≦α≦θに設定することが好ましい。
 なお、略円孤面状の逃げ面22bを例示したが、逃げ面の形状は限定されない。例えば、逃げ面の円周方向長さの略全長に亘って径方向深さを概ね一定にしてもよい。ただし、逃げ面の円周方向端から段差があって線状の角が生じると、その角上で接触面圧が過大になるので、逃げ面と、これに円周方向に隣接する樹脂表面とを単一又は複数の曲面で滑らかに連続させることが好ましい。
 外輪20は、第二の軌道面21aを含む金属輪24と、金属輪24を覆う樹脂部25とで構成されている。
 外輪20の第二の外周部22は、樹脂部25の外周面からなる。第二の外周部22に含まれた外径面22aの全面及び逃げ面22bの全面、並びに各第二の幅面23の全面は、繋ぎ目の樹脂部25によって形成されている。
 外輪20の第二の内周部21は、金属輪24の内周面と、樹脂部25の軸方向両端の内周面とで構成されている。
 樹脂部25は、インサート成形によって金属輪24を覆っている。インサート成形を行えば、外径面22a、逃げ面22b、第二の幅面23を含む一層の樹脂部25を一度に成形するのと同時に金属輪24と一体化することができるため、特許文献2のように複数段階に分けて複数層の絶縁層を形成する場合に比して、外輪の製造工程が少ないため、外輪20の製造コストを抑えることができる。
 なお、インサート成形された樹脂部25の表面に高い寸法精度が要求される場合は、研削等の適宜の後加工により所要の寸法に仕上げてもよい。
 また、逃げ面22bのうち、ハウジング110の軸受座面111と接触することがなく、その軸受座面111との間に絶縁に十分な空間距離を確保することができる部位については、樹脂部25で形成することは必須でなく、このような部位は金属輪24の表面を露出させることも可能である。逃げ面22bの円周方向両端近傍で空間距離を確保することができないため、このような領域を少なくとも樹脂部25に含めればよい。
 ただし、電動アクスルユニットにおいては減速機の歯車等の劣化等によって金属粉が発生し、その金属粉がハウジング110の軸受座面111と逃げ面22bとの間の径方向隙間gに入り込み、この間に留まったり、引っ掛かったりする可能性がある。逃げ面の一部が金属輪の表面からなる場合、その金属粉を介して軸受座面と金属輪とが電気的に接続されてしまう懸念がある。この懸念を無くすため、外輪20のように逃げ面22bの全面を樹脂部25で形成することが好ましく、より好ましくは第二の外周部22の全面を樹脂部25で形成するとよい。
 樹脂部25の材料として、例えば、ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂(PPS)、ポリアミド樹脂(PA6T、PA10T等)、シンジオタクチックポリスチレン樹脂(SPS)、液晶ポリマー(LCP)などが好ましい。
 逃げ面22bの径方向深さδは、0.1mm以上2.5mm以下である。樹脂のヤング率は鋼よりもヤング率が低く、押さえつけられた時のたわみが鋼よりも大きく生じる。一般的な鋼製の外輪に比して、鋼製の金属輪24の円形の外周面の直径を小さく設定し、金属輪24の外周面を樹脂部25で覆う分、外輪20はラジアル荷重Fによってたわみ易くなる。このため、逃げ面22bの径方向深さδは、外輪20の全体を鋼で形成する場合の逃げ面の径方向深さに比して深く設定する必要がある。電動アクスルユニットのモータ軸や減速機の伝達軸を支持する用途で一般的な軸受内径(内径面12aの内径相当):30mm以上40mm以下で前述の所定のラジアル荷重Fが(P/C)≦0.4を満足する使用条件においては、径方向深さδが0.1mm未満である場合、逃げ面22bとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間で非接触領域を確保できない懸念がある一方、径方向深さδが2.5mmを超える場合、過大な径方向隙間gを生じさせることになる。
 なお、逃げ面は、円周方向の複数箇所に形成されていてもよい。この場合、進行波型の外輪のクリープが発生したとき、円周方向に分散配置された複数の逃げ面のいずれか一面が荷重負荷圏に早期に到達するので、外輪のクリープ量を小さくすることができる。樹脂部で円周方向全周に延びる第二の幅面を形成する場合、円周方向の複数箇所に逃げ面を形成する場合であっても、インサート成形で樹脂部を外輪に一体化させることが可能である。
 外輪20の金属輪24とハウジング110との間で樹脂部25による良好な絶縁性を確保するため、樹脂部25は、少なくとも0.8mmの厚さに設けられている。
 樹脂部25の厚さtでハウジング110と金属輪24との間の沿面距離を確保すればよい。電動アクスルユニットの駆動モータ等の高出力化のため、電動アクスルユニットのシステム電圧は将来的に1000V程度まで高くなり、この場合、回転軸100とハウジング110間の電位差は100V程度になると予想される。この電位差であっても樹脂部25の厚さtが0.3mm以上あれば、絶縁に要する沿面距離を設けることができる。また、成形時の樹脂流動性を考慮しても、樹脂部25の厚さtが0.3mm以上、好ましくは0.4mm以上あれば射出成形が可能である。
 樹脂部25は、ウェルドを含まない。ウェルドは、金型内で流動する樹脂の合流部に形成される比較的脆弱な組織部である。樹脂部25の線膨張係数と金属輪24の線膨張係数との差が大きいため、その差に基づく円周方向応力が樹脂部25に生じ得る。樹脂部25の厚さtを厚く設定して円周方向の強度を確保することは、コンパクト化の要求に応えるために限界がある。このため、樹脂部25が局所的に脆弱部なウェルドを含むことは好ましくない。
 樹脂部25の形状を転写する金型のキャビティに金属輪24を配置して樹脂部25をインサート成形する際にキャビティに樹脂を射出するゲート方式としてディスクゲートを採用し、樹脂をディスクゲートから全周に亘って軸方向に同時的に射出すれば、ウェルドを含まない樹脂部25を実現することができる。
 樹脂部25の強度を高めるため、前述のPPS等の樹脂をマトリックス樹脂とし、そのマトリックス樹脂に混在させるフィラーとしてガラス繊維、樹脂繊維等の非導電性の繊維を用いた繊維強化樹脂を樹脂部25の材料にすることが好ましい。
 繊維強化樹脂を前述のようにディスクゲートから射出したとき、樹脂部25に含まれる前述のフィラーの平均繊維配向度(図4参照)が1.0であると、前述の円周方向応力に対して十分な強度がなくなり、樹脂部25に割れが発生する懸念がある。これを避けるため、平均繊維配向度は、0.92以下であることが好ましい。
 ここで、繊維配向度は、樹脂部25に含まれるフィラーが完全に軸方向に延びている場合の値を「1」、円周方向に対してフィラーが45°の方向に延びている場合の値を「0.5」、フィラーが完全に円周方向に延びている場合の値を「0」と定義したときの度数である。繊維配向度が0.92以下であることは、フィラーが円周方向に対して82.8°の方向に延びていることに相当する。前述の平均繊維配向度は、樹脂部25の外径面22aに任意の範囲を設定し、その範囲内の全てのフィラーについて繊維配向度を算出し、平均化した値である。繊維配向度は測定する箇所によりばらつきが生じる懸念がある。したがって、測定範囲は、樹脂部の軸方向一端と他端を含むことが好ましく、周方向の測定距離が1mm以上となる部分を評価することがさらに好ましい。
 なお、前述の範囲における各フィラーの繊維配向度の算出は、円柱フィッテングによる繊維配向抽出を行う。すなわち、前述の範囲の画像を解析して一本のフィラーを一個の円柱として抽出し、一個の円柱が円周方向に対して何度傾いているかを確認し、その確認した角度から一本のフィラーの繊維配向度を算出する。円柱フィッテングによる繊維配向抽出は、次の文献において詳細に開示されている。

 転がり軸受1は(図1~図3参照)、上述のように、第一の軌道面11aを含む第一の外周部11と、円周方向に沿った内径面12aを含む第一の内周部12と、第一の外周部11と第一の内周部12との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第一の幅面13とを有する内輪10と、第二の軌道面21aを含む第二の内周部21と、円周方向に沿った外径面22aを含む第二の外周部22と、第二の内周部21と第二の外周部22との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第二の幅面23とを有する外輪20と、第一の軌道面11aと第二の軌道面21aとの間に配置された複数の転動体30とを備えるものである。
 転がり軸受1は、第一の内周部12と第二の外周部22のうちの一方の周部である第二の外周部22が第二の外周部22に含まれた外径面22aに対して径方向深さδを有しかつ外径面22aを全幅に亘って分断する逃げ面22bをさらに含むため、外輪20の第二の外周部22をハウジング110の軸受座面111にすきまばめすると、その逃げ面22bとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間に径方向隙間gを生じさせることができる。このため、転がり軸受1は、公転する転動体30の転動体荷重によって第二の外周部22に生じる進行波を逃げ面22bのところで遮断し、進行波による外輪20のクリープを抑制することができる。
 また、転がり軸受1は、外輪20が第二の軌道面21aを含む金属輪24と、金属輪24を覆う樹脂部25とを有し、外輪20の第二の外周部22(一方の周部)に含まれた外径面22aと、逃げ面22bと、第二の外周部22に連続する第二の幅面23とが樹脂部25によって形成されているので、外輪20の第二の外周部22とハウジング110の軸受座面111との間を樹脂部25で絶縁するとともに、外輪20の第二の幅面23とハウジング110の突き合い部112との間でも樹脂部25で絶縁し、電動アクスルユニットで採用されているような軸受支持構造においても内外輪10、20及び転動体30の電食を抑制することができる。
 このように、転がり軸受1は、進行波型の外輪20のクリープの抑制と内外輪10、20及び転動体30の電食の抑制とを両立させることが可能で電動アクスルユニットに好適な転がり軸受として提供することができる。
 また、転がり軸受1は、樹脂部25がインサート成形によって金属輪24と一体化しているので、樹脂部25の成形と同時に金属輪24を覆う簡単な製法で製造コストを抑えた外輪20にすることができる。
 また、転がり軸受1は、樹脂部25にウェルドを含まないため、周方向応力による樹脂部25の割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 また、転がり軸受1は、逃げ面22bの径方向深さδが0.1mm以上2.5mm以下であるので、電動アクスルユニットの駆動モータや減速機に組み込まれる一般的な転がり軸受の内径、荷重条件において逃げ面22bとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間に径方向隙間gを確保することができる。
 また、転がり軸受1は、樹脂部25が少なくとも0.8mmの厚さtを有するので、電動アクスルユニット用途に十分な絶縁性能を樹脂部25で実現することができる。
 転がり軸受1では、ディスクゲートを用いたインサート成形によって樹脂部25を形成した例を示したが、一点又は複数点のピンポイントゲートを用いてインサート成形を行うことも可能である。
 この場合、図5に示すように、ピンゲートの位置すなわち外輪20におけるゲート痕Gの位置を逃げ面22b上に設定することにより、ウェルドを逃げ面22bとは異なる部位、例えば外径面22aを形成する樹脂部分のみに配置することが可能である。なお、複数のピンゲートを採用する場合、逃げ面22b上に一点のピンゲートを設定し、他のピンゲートを逃げ面22bから円周方向に十分に離れた位置に設定すればよい。
 このように、逃げ面22bにゲート痕Gがあり、逃げ面22bにウェルドを含まないことにより、周方向応力による逃げ面22bの割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受を図6、図7に示す。なお、第二実施形態の説明では、第一実施形態との相違点を述べるに留める。
 図6、図7に示す内輪50は、第一の軌道面51aを含む第一の外周部51と、第一の内径面52aを含む第一の内周部52と、両端の第一の幅面53、53とを金属輪54と樹脂部55とで形成したものである。外輪60は、第二の軌道面61aを含む第二の内周部61と、第二の外径面62aを含む第二の外周部62とを含む金属輪からなる。
 内輪50の第一の内周部52の全面と各第一の幅面53、53の全面は、繋ぎ目のない樹脂部55によって形成されている。
 内輪50の内径面52aと回転軸100の軸受座面101は、すきまばめされている。内輪50の一端側の第一の幅面53は、回転軸100に設けられた突き合い部102によって軸方向に支持される。
 第一の内周部52に含まれた逃げ面52bと回転軸100の軸受座面101との間に径方向隙間gが確保されている。なお、逃げ面52bの形状や作用効果は、径方向に関して第一実施形態の逆の関係に成立する。
 外輪60の外径面62aとハウジング110の軸受座面111は、しまりばめされている。
 図6に示すように、インサート成形時のピンゲートの位置に対応するゲート痕Gは、逃げ面52b上にあり、逃げ面52bにウェルドを含まない。
 なお、前述の平均繊維配向度については、内径面52aに任意の範囲を設定する点で異なるのみである。
 第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、上述のように、第一の内周部52と第二の外周部62のうちの一方の周部である第一の内周部52が第一の内周部52に含まれた内径面52aに対して径方向深さを有しかつ内径面52aを全幅に亘って分断する逃げ面52bをさらに含むため、内輪50の第一の内周部52を回転軸100の軸受座面101にすきまばめすると、その逃げ面52bと回転軸100の軸受座面101との間に径方向隙間gを生じさせることができる。このため、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、公転する転動体30の転動体荷重によって第一の内周部52に生じる進行波を逃げ面52bのところで遮断し、進行波による内輪50のクリープを抑制することができる。
 また、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、内輪50が第一の軌道面51aを含む金属輪54と、金属輪54を覆う樹脂部55とを有し、内輪50の第一の内周部52(一方の周部)に含まれた内径面52aと、逃げ面52bと、第一の内周部52に連続する第一の幅面53とが樹脂部55によって形成されているので、内輪50の第一の内周部52と回転軸100の軸受座面101との間を樹脂部55で絶縁するとともに、内輪50の第一の幅面53と回転軸100の突き合い部102との間でも樹脂部55で絶縁し、電動アクスルユニットで採用されているような軸受支持構造においても内外輪50、60及び転動体30の電食を抑制することができる。
 このように、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、進行波型の内輪50のクリープの抑制と内外輪50、60及び転動体30の電食の抑制とを両立させることが可能で電動アクスルユニットに好適な転がり軸受として提供することができる。
 また、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、樹脂部55がインサート成形によって金属輪54と一体化しているので、樹脂部55の成形と同時に金属輪54を覆う簡単な製法で製造コストを抑えた内輪50にすることができる。
 また、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、逃げ面52bにゲート痕Gがあり、逃げ面52bにウェルドを含まないことにより、周方向応力による逃げ面52bの割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 また、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、逃げ面52bの径方向深さが0.1mm以上2.5mm以下であるので、電動アクスルユニットの駆動モータや減速機に組み込まれる一般的な転がり軸受の内径、荷重条件において逃げ面52bと回転軸100の軸受座面102との間に径方向隙間gを確保することができる。
 また、第二実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、樹脂部55が少なくとも0.8mmの厚さを有するので、電動アクスルユニット用途に十分な絶縁性能を樹脂部55で実現することができる。
 図6、図7では、一点又は複数点のピンポイントゲートを用いてインサート成形を行う場合を例示したが、ディスクゲートを用いたインサート成形によって樹脂部55を形成することも可能である。このような転がり軸受は、樹脂部55にウェルドを含まないため、周方向応力による樹脂部55の割れを起こりにくくすることができる。
 第三実施形態に係る転がり軸受を図8、図9に示す。第三実施形態の説明では、第一実施形態との相違点を述べるに留める。
 第三実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、樹脂部25に溝22cを追加した点でのみ第一実施形態と相違するものである。
 溝22cは、第二の外周部22の軸方向中央部において円周方向に沿って延びている。外輪20の外径面22aは、溝22cに対して軸方向両側にそれぞれ形成されている。溝22cは、外径面22aの円周方向の全長に亘って軸方向に隣接し、その円周方向両端の開放溝端において逃げ面22bと交差する。このため、溝22cは径方向隙間g(図2参照)に円周方向に連通する。
 第三実施形態に係る転がり軸受(図2、図8、図9参照)は、外輪20の第二の外周部22(一方の周部)が外径面22aに軸方向に隣接する溝22cを含み、溝22cが樹脂部25によって形成されているので、転がり軸受の側面に供給された油がハウジング110の軸受座面111とすきまばめされた第二の外周部22の溝22cに入り込み、外径面22aとハウジング110の軸受座面111との間に広がる。このため、ハウジング110の軸受座面111と外輪20の外径面22aとの間に油膜が形成され、その油膜により軸受座面111に対して外径面22aが円周方向に摺動する際の摩擦係数が減少する。したがって、第三実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、外輪20がクリープしても、その外径面22aやハウジング110の軸受座面111の摩耗を防止することができる。
 また、第三実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、溝22cが逃げ面22bに交差するので、油が豊富な径方向隙間gから溝22cで油を導き、第二の外周部22とハウジング110の軸受座面111との間の潤滑に貢献させることができる。
 第四実施形態に係る転がり軸受を図10、図11に示す。第四実施形態の説明では、第二実施形態との相違点を述べるに留める。
 第四実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、樹脂部55に複数の溝52cを追加した点でのみ第二実施形態と相違するものである。
 各溝52cは、第一の内周部52の軸方向中間部において円周方向に沿って延びている。各溝52cに対して軸方向両側に内径面52aがそれぞれ形成されている。各溝52cは、内径面52aの円周方向の全長に亘って軸方向に隣接し、その円周方向両端の開放溝端において逃げ面52bと交差する。このため、各溝52cは径方向隙間(図6参照)に円周方向に連通する。
 第四実施形態に係る転がり軸受(図6、図10、図11参照)は、内輪50の第一の内周部52(一方の周部)が内径面52aに軸方向に隣接する溝52cを含み、溝52cが樹脂部55によって形成されているので、転がり軸受の側面に供給された油が回転軸100の軸受座面101とすきまばめされた第一の内周部52の溝52cに入り込み、内径面52aと回転軸100の軸受座面101との間に広がる。このため、回転軸100の軸受座面101と内輪50の内径面52aとの間に油膜が形成され、その油膜により軸受座面101に対して内径面52aが円周方向に摺動する際の摩擦係数が減少する。したがって、第四実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、内輪50がクリープしても、その内径面52aや回転軸100の軸受座面101の摩耗を防止することができる。
 また、第四実施形態に係る転がり軸受は、溝52cが逃げ面52bに交差するので、油が豊富な径方向隙間gから溝52cで油を導き、第一の内周部52と回転軸100の軸受座面101との間の潤滑に貢献させることができる。
 なお、第三実施形態や第四実施形態に例示するように、樹脂部に形成する溝の本数は、一本であってもよいし、複数本であってもよい。また、第三実施形態や第四実施形態に例示するように、溝は、円周方向に有限の長さで形成してもよいし、円周方向全周に亘っていてもよいし、円周方向に断続的に形成して全周に分布させてもよい。また、溝が円周方向に沿って延びる必要はなく、内輪の内径面又は外輪の外径面と溝とが軸方向に隣接する円周方向領域があればよい。内輪又は外輪のクリープ時に径方向隙間から溝が油を取り込み易くするため、逃げ面に交差する溝が円周方向に沿って延びることは好ましい。
 なお、この発明に係る転がり軸受は、電動アクスルユニット以外に使用することも可能であり、軸とハウジング間に電位差が生じかつ内輪又は外輪が対応の軸又はハウジングにすきまばめされる回転電気機械において内輪又は外輪のクリープを抑制すると共に転がり軸受の電食を抑制する目的で使用することが可能である。
 今回開示された各実施形態はすべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。したがって、本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。

Claims (9)

  1.  第一の軌道面を含む第一の外周部と、円周方向に沿った内径面を含む第一の内周部と、前記第一の外周部と前記第一の内周部との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第一の幅面とを有する内輪と、
     第二の軌道面を含む第二の内周部と、円周方向に沿った外径面を含む第二の外周部と、前記第二の内周部と前記第二の外周部との間の側面部位で径方向に延びる第二の幅面とを有する外輪と、
     前記第一の軌道面と前記第二の軌道面との間に配置された複数の転動体とを備え、
     前記第一の内周部と前記第二の外周部のうちの一方の周部が、前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面に対して径方向深さを有しかつ前記内径面又は前記外径面を全幅に亘って分断する逃げ面をさらに含み、
     前記内輪又は前記外輪が、前記内輪の前記第一の軌道面又は前記外輪の前記第二の軌道面を含む金属輪と、前記金属輪を覆う樹脂部とを有する転がり軸受において、
     前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面と、前記逃げ面と、前記一方の周部に連続する前記第一の幅面又は前記第二の幅面とが、前記樹脂部によって形成されていることを特徴とする転がり軸受。
  2.  前記樹脂部が前記金属輪と一体化している請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
  3.  前記樹脂部にウェルドを含まない請求項2に記載の転がり軸受。
  4.  前記逃げ面にゲート痕があり、前記逃げ面にウェルドを含まない請求項2に記載の転がり軸受。
  5.  前記一方の周部に含まれた前記内径面又は前記外径面を覆う樹脂部が、周方向に延びる溝を含む請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受。
  6.  前記溝が前記逃げ面に交差する請求項5に記載の転がり軸受。
  7.  前記逃げ面の径方向深さが0.1mm以上2.5mm以下である請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受。
  8.  前記樹脂部が少なくとも0.8mmの厚さを有する請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受。
  9.  電動アクスルユニットに備わる回転軸とハウジングとの間に配置されている請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受。
