La présente invention peut fournir une méthode de fabrication d'un support en carbone poreux, la méthode comprenant les étapes consistant à : (1) soumettre une matière première à base de pétrole à une pyrolyse et une polycondensation pour former un brai ; (2) solidifier et granuler le brai pour obtenir des granulés de brai solide ; (3) stabiliser les granulés de brai solide sans pulvérisation ; et (4) carboniser les granulés de brai stabilisés pour obtenir un produit carbonisé.
