The battery pack storage device comprises: a storage rack (1), which has compartments for storing battery packs, wherein an entry end (301) is formed at one end of each compartment; at least some of the compartments are configured as first compartments (303); and an electrical connection mechanism (101) is provided at the entry end (301) of each first compartment (303), and the height of each first compartment (303) is set in such a way that the battery pack (2) can pass over the electrical connection mechanism (101). The structure simplifies complex requirements of a battery swap apparatus for a battery pack steering mechanism, thereby improving the battery swap efficiency.
