Abstract

The invention pertains to a mold system used in the beekeeping industry for producing honeycombs from beeswax, allowing the creation of honeycombs as a whole unit, including honeycomb pores.

Description

MOLD SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING WHOLE HONEYCOMBS FROM
BEESWAX
Field of the Invention
The invention relates to a mold system used in the beekeeping industry for producing honeycombs from beeswax. The invention particularly concerns a mold system that allows the production of honeycombs as a whole unit, including raised honeycomb pores.
State of the Art
Beeswax, secreted by the wax glands on the lower surface of bees' abdominal rings, is a substance used by bees to make honeycomb cells where they store honey. Traditionally, bees create honeycomb cells in beehives by weaving wax onto wax foundations in hexagonal shapes before honey production.
This process requires bees to consume honey to create these hexagonal pores, resulting in a waiting period before honey production and extending the overall production time. In the beekeeping industry, to eliminate this time loss, wax honeycombs of middle plate quality are used instead of traditional honeycomb foundations.
These wax honeycombs do not have raised honeycomb pores for direct honey production; they only serve as guiding plates for bees to create combs. In existing applications, these middle plate wax honeycombs are produced using wax embossing machines, primarily consisting of overlapping cylinders.
However, these embossing machines cannot achieve full embossed honeycomb production. Additionally, silicone molds are produced for the intermediate frame production in the current technique, but these molds only facilitate intermediate frame production. Thus, the existing machines and silicone molds do not eliminate the time loss in honeycomb production. Therefore, a need has arisen in the known art for a structure that allows the production of honeycombs as a whole unit with embossed beeswax pores.
Consequently, the presence of the aforementioned problems and the inadequacy of existing solutions necessitate development in the relevant technical field.
Aim of the Invention
The present invention is concerned with a mold system for producing honeycombs as a whole unit from beeswax, eliminating the disadvantages mentioned above, and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.
The main purpose of the invention is to present a mold system that allows the production of honeycombs as a whole unit, including embossed honeycomb pores, conforming to the structure of honeycomb pores produced by bees.
Another purpose of the invention is to present a mold system that eliminates the time required for bees to prepare combs, thereby increasing production capacity by utilizing the comb preparation time in honey production.
To fulfill all the objectives mentioned above and any other objectives that may arise from the detailed description, the invention is a mold system used in the beekeeping industry for producing honeycombs from beeswax, enabling the creation of honeycombs as a whole unit, including honeycomb pores, comprising:
• a rectangular-shaped bottom mold,
• a symmetrical upper mold combined with the bottom mold and shaping the melted beeswax poured into it along with the bottom mold, • a hexagonal void structure on the inner surface of the bottom mold and the upper mold, shaping raised honeycomb pores on the melted beeswax formed between the bottom mold and the upper mold,
• a groove on the bottom mold and the upper mold enabling the pouring of melted beeswax into the space between the bottom mold and the upper mold.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the mold system subject to the invention are explained only to better understand the subject matter and in a way that will not create any limiting effect.
Figure 1 provides the appearance of the mold system subject to the invention. Accordingly, the mold system, in its most basic form, includes a rectangularshaped bottom mold (10), a symmetrical upper mold (20) combined with the bottom mold (10) and shaping the melted beeswax poured into it along with the bottom mold (10), and a hexagonal void structure (30) on the inner surface of the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20), shaping raised honeycomb pores on the melted beeswax formed between the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20). As seen in Figure 2, there are hexagonal void structures (30) on the inner surfaces of the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20), shaping raised honeycomb pores on the melted beeswax formed between the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20).
To allow the melted beeswax to be poured into the space between the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20), at least one groove (40), as seen in Figure 3, has been created on the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20). The bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20) in the mold system subject to the invention are joined to each other, and melted beeswax is poured into the space between the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20) through the groove (40).
After the beeswax shaped between the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20) is frozen, the bottom mold (10) and the upper mold (20) are opened, and honeycombs as a whole unit with raised honeycomb pores on them are produced through hexagonal void structures (30).
