Abstract

The invention relates to floating structures for watersports. The problem addressed by the invention is that of enabling steering of a surfboard. This problem is solved by means of two levers with water jets, said levers being mounted to the board by means of hinges for tilting the levers forwards and backwards. Changing the tilt of the levers turns the board in one direction or the other. The board can be steered in a straight line when the levers are tilted to the same extent and the water jets are operating at the same speed.

Description

ELECTRIC SURF CONTROL SYSTEM
The invention relates to swimming equipment for water sports, in particular, for controlling a surfboard (board) with an electric drive.
There is a known method for controlling the movement of an electric surfer using a steering wheel and an electric motor connected to a propeller (patent No. RU0002658617 dated November 23, 2016). The electric surfer is equipped with an electronic motor control system, and the steering unit is located in the stern.
The objective of the invention is to provide highly reliable and simple control of the movement of the board in a standing position using two curved levers with water-jet electric motors attached to them.
The task is solved using levers with electrically driven water jets, connected to the body of the board at a swivel joint.
1). The method is carried out as follows (Fig. 1).
On the board 1 with the keel 2, hinged joints 3 and 4 are installed on the left and right sides, to which curved arms 5 and 6 with electric water-jet propulsors 7 and 8 are connected. Batteries are located inside the arms, and at the upper ends there is a control system for electric motors 9. The speed of movement of the board is adjusted by changing the rotation speed of the water jets, and changing the direction of movement left and right is carried out by changing the tilt of levers 5 and 6. So, when the left lever 5 is tilted forward, and the right lever 6 is tilted back, the board will move to the right and vice versa when the left lever 5 is tilted back , and the right one is 6 forward, the board will turn to the left. In this case, the intensity of the turn depends both on the degree of inclination of levers 5 and 6, and
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) on the rotation speed of the water jets. Maximum speed is achieved when both levers 5 and 6 are tilted forward, when the water jets are parallel to the board.
The technical result is to control the speed and direction of movement of the board in a standing position.
