Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Brennstoffzellenstapel (1), mit in einer Stapelrichtung (3) aufeinanderfolgend angeordneten Brennstoffzellen (2), einem Abdeckelement (5), und einem hydraulischen Ausgleichselement (6), wobei das hydraulische Ausgleichselement (6) und das Abdeckelement (5) in der Stapelrichtung (3) auf die Brennstoffzellen (2) folgend angeordnet sind, wobei das Abdeckelement (5) in einem gegen die Brennstoffzellen (2) verspannten Zustand (21) die Brennstoffzellen (2) zusammenhält, und in einem unverspannten Zustand (20) zu den Brennstoffzellen (2) hin bombiert ist, und wobei das hydraulische Ausgleichselement (6) zur Anpassung einer in dem verspannten Zustand (21) auf die Brennstoffzellen (2) übertragenen Anpresskraft (8) mit einem Fluid (11) druckbeaufschlagt oder -beaufschlagbar ist.
