- Fiber optic cable storage and organization systems have been developed for this purpose. These are generally made up of cassettes where fiber optic cables are stored and organized. However, with the continued development of storage and organization systems for fiber optic cables, this equipment has evolved towards modularity, and can be increased in its storage and organization capacity for fiber optic cables. However, modular protective equipment has never been developed for these fiber optic cable storage and organization systems.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un module d'expansion (M) pour équipement de protection modulaire à utiliser dans des systèmes d'organisateurs de câbles à fibre optique. Le module d'expansion (M) de la présente invention est constitué par un corps (M.1) et, en outre, par un moyen de fixation du module (M.2), pour accouplement à un équipement de protection d'un système d'organisateurs de câbles à fibre optique, notamment à une coiffe de protection (1) qui protège le système d'organisateurs de câbles à fibre optique.
