The present invention relates to a bag organizer making it easier to identify notebooks and documents related to a subject for example.

Prior Art

Many children have difficulty finding their notebooks/books quickly in their bags, preferably in their backpacks. This can create frustrations and associated stress for these children.

This difficulty can be associated with different disorders such as attention disorders (ADD) with or without hyperactivity, dyspraxia or autism.

Children suffering from A.D.D. tend to get easily distracted when given too much information. In class, it is necessary to avoid any double tasks and to get to the point, to avoid any embellishments on the documents which could distract them. Due to their disorders, these children frequently forget their coats, jackets or any accessories (caps, etc.) at school or on outings. They especially have difficulty finding their school supplies in their school bag when there are several supplies in it (too much information) and sometimes cannot find them at all.

Dyspraxia is a motor development disorder that affects the planning, execution, coordination and automation of voluntary movements. The movements of a dyspraxic child are slow and clumsy. Children with dyspraxia will often have difficulty dressing themselves, washing themselves, holding cutlery, or playing games involving fine motor skills.

People with autism have a neuro-atypical thought process. The neuro-atypical functioning of their thought process leads them to categorize and compartmentalize information in their brain.

Thus, there continues to be a need to enable better organization in bags, particularly for children suffering from disorders affecting their concentration, as defined above.

The applicant has developed a removable organizer for a bag, allowing a user to instantly find what is contained in the bag, in particular notebooks, books, folders or binders associated with a material, thus limiting the impact of disorders such such as ADD, dyspraxia and/or autism.

Thus, according to a first aspect, the invention relates to a removable organizer (1) for a bag (6) comprising:

a plurality of expandable compartments (2) formed by partitions;
at least one hook-and-loop fastener (3) on the rear face of the organizer, making it possible to attach the organizer (1) to said bag (6).

Preferably, said organizer (1) according to the invention further comprises at least one hook-and-loop fastener (4) on one of the partitions of each compartment (2), making it possible to fix a marker (5) also comprising a hook-and-loop fastener , in order to identify each compartment (2) distinctly.

Preferably, said markers (5) have different colors.

Even more preferably, said marks (5) are 4 cm wide, 6.7 cm wide and 4 mm thick.

Preferably, said compartments (2) have the same dimensions.

Preferably, said organizer (1) according to the invention comprises at least 2, at least 3, at least 4, at least 5, at least 6, at least 7, at least 8, at least 9, at least 10, at least 11, or at least 12 compartments (2).

According to a preferred embodiment, said organizer (1) according to the invention comprises 11 compartments (2).

According to another preferred embodiment, said organizer (1) according to the invention comprises 6 compartments (2).

According to one embodiment, said compartments (2) have a size adapted to the capacity of notebooks, books, folders, and/or binders.

Preferably, said compartments (2) have a height greater than 29.7 cm.

Even more preferably, said compartments (2) have a height greater than 32 cm.

Preferably, said compartments (2) have a width greater than 21 centimeters.

Even more preferably, said compartments (2) have a width greater than 24 centimeters.

Even more preferably, said compartments (2) have a width of 29.5 cm and a height of 32.5 cm.

According to one embodiment, the thickness of the organizer (1) according to the invention is 3.4 cm in its undeployed form, in the case where 11 compartments (2) are present.

Preferably, the thickness of each deployed compartment (2) is 6 cm.

According to one embodiment, the thickness of the organizer (1) according to the invention is 66 cm in its deployed form, in the case where 11 compartments (2) are present.

Preferably, the front face of the organizer (1) comprises pockets (8, 9, 10).

Preferably, the exterior of said organizer (1) according to the invention is made of polyester D and/or nylon D.

According to one embodiment, the interior of the compartments (2) is made of a mixture of polyester, calcium powder and latex glue, preferably 55% polyester, 5% calcium powder and 40% glue of latex.

According to a second aspect, the invention relates to an assembly comprising a bag (6) and an organizer (1) according to the invention.

According to one embodiment, the invention relates to an assembly comprising a bag (6) provided with hook-and-loop fasteners (7) on its interior face and an organizer (1) according to the invention, said hook-and-loop fasteners (7) of the bag (6 ) being positioned opposite the hook-and-loop fasteners (3) of said organizer (1), in order to maintain said organizer (1) within said bag (6).

Preferably, said bag (6) is chosen from: backpacks, satchels, briefcases, handbags, travel bags, tote bags.

Said organizer (1) is positioned in said bag (6) horizontally or vertically. This depends on the size and configuration of said bag (6).

According to one embodiment, in the case of a backpack, said organizer (1) will generally be positioned vertically.

According to another embodiment, in the case of a shopping bag for example, said organizer (1) can be positioned horizontally.

According to a third aspect, the invention relates to the use of the organizer (1) according to the invention or of the Set according to the invention to facilitate the organization of people suffering from attention disorder with or without hyperactivity , dyspraxia or autism.

Concerning children suffering from ADD, the height of the dividers being greater than the size of the large notebooks/binders (sizes 21x29.7 cm or 24x32 cm), the child does not see his notebooks and is therefore not lost among its supplies. Their attention can also only be focused on the color markers (a single piece of information to process). In addition, your belongings will always be stored in the same place and will not continually change place inside the bag.

For disabled children, the organizer according to the invention allows the child not to have to handle all his notebooks (or his binders, his books or his folders) when he is looking for a supply. All he has to do is slide his hand into the relevant compartment to take out his notebook (or binders, books or folders). The pockets (8, 9, 10) allow the child to easily take out their tools, for example a ruler, a calculator, cards and/or keys. The pockets (8, 9, 10) do not include flaps, allowing for easy opening and closing. The markers (5), preferably having different colors, have hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing the child suffering from dyspraxia to position and remove them alone.

For autistic children, the organizer according to the invention is suitable for their very sectored neuro-atypical functioning thanks to the different compartments for each subject. In addition, some autistic people have very clear preferences for certain colors and, conversely, a total and unexplained aversion for a particular color. It is therefore advisable to avoid giving a notebook of a color for which the child might have an aversion. Hence the interest in offering removable color markers. So if the user has an aversion to a color; it simply won't position it in its organizer.

Definitions

By “organizer” is meant in the sense of the invention a device making it possible to compartmentalize a volume, a container or a container, for example a bag, and thus to order the storage of said volume, container or container.

By "removable" is meant that the organizer according to the invention can be positioned in the bag and easily removed so that the child can use his bag, preferably his backpack, outside of school time for example, without presence of the organizer.

By “hook-and-loop fastener” is commonly understood a “scratch” or “velcro” closure, consisting of two components: typically, two textile strips are attached to the opposite surfaces to be fixed. The first component has tiny hooks, the second has smaller loops. When the two are pressed together, the hooks hook into the loops and the two pieces attach or bond temporarily. A person skilled in the art will be able to determine that one of the two parts (hooks or loops) will need to be installed on the bag, and the other on the organizer according to the invention.

By “pockets” are meant compartments smaller than the compartments making up the organizer, allowing for example a ruler, keys, a calculator, etc. to be held.

Detailed description of the invention

In connection with the figures, the organizer (1) is made up of compartments (2).

Any objects whose size suits the size of the compartments can be inserted into these compartments, in particular notebooks. This organizer does not include a "bottom" or "lid", these elements being provided by the bag (6) in which it is incorporated.

The organizer (1) can have an unfolded conformation ( ) or unfolded ( and 3), depending on the presence or absence of elements in the compartments. Said organizer (1) can also have a semi-unfolded version where only certain compartments are unfolded, due to the presence of elements in certain compartments (2), and not in others.

This organizer (1) is thus positioned in a bag (6), for example a backpack as in the , or part of a hook-and-loop fastener (7) is glued to the bottom ( ), which attaches with a hook-and-loop fastener (3) located on the organizer (1) according to the invention ( ).

The organizer (1) can be positioned horizontally or vertically in the bag, depending on the size and configuration of the bag. Indeed, in the case of a backpack for example, said organizer (1) will generally be positioned vertically, whereas in a tote bag, it can more often be positioned horizontally.

The organizer (1) can also, thanks to hook-and-loop fasteners located on each compartment (2), include markers (5) allowing the user to identify each compartment (2) differently. Such marks (5) are illustrated in , and are visible in Figures 1, 4 and 8.

Thus, a user (adult or child) can for example position the organizer (1) according to the invention in a backpack (6), fixing it using the hook-and-loop fasteners (3, 7). Said user will then be able, thanks to the compartments and any markers (5), to find their notebooks, binders, folders or books more easily, without having access to the notebooks for other subjects which will be in other compartments.

Examples

Example 1: Study of color knowledge related to notebooks based on school subjects for children

A study was carried out on 22 children aged 6 to 17 years old.

Among the participants, different profiles were represented: ADD, dysgraphia, dyssortography, dyscalculia, autism, high intellectual potential and others with no diagnosed disorder.

This study was carried out during the school year and consisted of asking each of the children if they knew the color of each of their main notebooks for each subject.

All of the children were able to easily enter the color of each notebook by subject, within a maximum of 3 seconds.

This demonstrates the effectiveness of the organizer according to the invention, allowing these children to identify as quickly as possible in their school bag the notebook associated with each subject.

Claims

Removable organizer (1) for bag (6) comprising:

a plurality of expandable compartments (2) formed by partitions;

at least one hook-and-loop fastener (3) on the rear face of the organizer, making it possible to attach the organizer (1) to said bag (6).
Organizer (1) according to the preceding claim, further comprising at least one hook-and-loop fastener (4) on one of the partitions of each compartment (2), making it possible to fix a marker (5) also comprising a hook-and-loop fastener, in order to identify each compartment (2) distinctly.
