Abstract

A one-time use, recyclable, low-cost apparatus to smoke tobacco reduces the smoke's harshness and lessens the suction effort while yielding greater smoke volume with a smoother airflow. The inventive apparatus includes an elongated, non-symmetrical container that holds liquid to cool and humidify the smoke. The smoke collects in an oversized container section through suction by the user through an attached hose. The Container envelopes an elongated cylindrical down-stem tube with an expanding taper at the top and a reduced plug at the bottom, which affixes to the bottom of the container to reduce shaking during the smoking process. The down-stem tube has precisely placed holes that distribute the number of smoke bubbles where smoke is captured in the upper part of the container, resulting in the user receiving a smoother smoke flow using less force, greater smoke volume, and smoke that is less harsh.

Description

APPARATUS TO SMOKE TOBACCO
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] This disclosure relates to an apparatus designed to burn tobacco or a substitute material and delivers the products of combustion to the apparatus user.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The present invention relates to smoking tobacco using an apparatus that involves a container filled with a liquid to cool and humidify the smoke, and more specifically, it relates to a low cost, disposable, recyclable, one-time use apparatus comprised of two pieces to smoke tobacco that minimizes exposure to pathogens, reduces the harshness of the smoke, lowers the suction required to deliver the products of combustion to the apparatus user, and creates a greater smoke volume to the user.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
[0003] Hookah (also known as shisha or nargileh) involves adults smoking flavored or unflavored tobacco from a container that holds a liquid and involves a cylindrical tube or pipe. The hookah has been deeply rooted for centuries in cultural traditions among Indian, Persian, Turkish, Egyptian, and other Middle Eastern families. Its use is an entertaining social activity or means to relax and a way that families, relatives, friends, and business associates enjoy hospitality and strengthen relationships with one another. One problem with current Hookahs is that they are reused repeatedly by different smokers due to their relatively high cost, thereby increasing the risk of exposure to pathogens. Another problem is that the basic design, which has been in use for centuries, often creates a harsh burning sensation in the smoker’s throat and requires the smoker to exert much suction force to obtain a modest smoke volume. This effect requires numerous adjustments to the tobacco packing and the position and the number of coals which takes time and interrupts the continuity and pleasure of the smoker’s session.
SUMMARY
[0004] This disclosure generally relates to the functionality of the Hookah Witty Container and its internal Down-Stem Tube. [0005] An aspect of the disclosed embodiments is the functionality of the Hookah Witty Container that holds the bowl of tobacco and the liquid.
[0006] An aspect of the disclosed embodiments is the functionality of the Down-Stem Tube that extends from the top of the container and the bowl that holds the tobacco to the bottom of the container containing the liquid.
[0007] When a user breathes in, smoke passes through the body of the Hookah Witty Container and out the Down-Stem Tube, where the smoke is cooled and humidified by the liquid.
[0008] The Down-Stem Tube is configured with vertical holes on opposite sides that regulate the size of the bubbles and the volume of smoke that flows through the liquid.
[0009] The Down-Stem Tube is hinged to the bottom of the Hookah Witty Container to reduce the amount of shaking caused by the bubbles created when the smoke is inhaled.
[0010] The upper part of the Hookah Witty Container has a section with a volume dimension configured to hold smoke.
[0011] Based on the user’s inhalation force, the holes distribute the number of smoke bubbles where smoke is captured in the upper part of the Hookah Witty Container, resulting in the user receiving a smoother smoke flow using less force, greater smoke volume, and smoke which is less harsh.
[0012] These and other aspects of the present disclosure are disclosed in the following detailed description of the embodiments, the appended claims, and the accompanying figures.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0013] The disclosure is best understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. It is emphasized that, according to common practice, the various features of the drawings are not to scale. On the contrary, the dimensions of the various features are arbitrarily expanded or reduced for clarity. [0014] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating the Hooka Witty Container dimensions according to the principles of the present disclosure.
[0015] FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the Down-Stem Tube dimensions according to the principles of the present disclosure.
[0016] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the cross section of the Hooka Witty Container dimensions the Down-Stem Tube dimensions according to the principles of the present disclosure.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0017] The following discussion is directed to various embodiments of the disclosure. Although one or more of these embodiments may be preferred, the embodiments disclosed should not be interpreted, or otherwise used, as limiting the scope of the disclosure, including the claims. In addition, one skilled in the art will understand that the following description has broad application, and the discussion of any embodiment is meant only to be exemplary of that embodiment, and not intended to intimate that the scope of the disclosure, including the claims, is limited to that embodiment.
[0018] Hooka Witty is a compact, economical, and recyclable device to smoke flavored and unflavored tobacco. The device comes complete with a shisha pipe, coal, and a choice of tobacco flavors.
[0019] Hooka Witty is a disposable, recyclable, one-time use smoking device that reduces the risk of pathogen contamination from devices with multiple users.
[0020] Hooka Witty comprises 2 pieces: 1) Fig. 1 illustrates the Container, and 2) Fig. 2 illustrates the Down-Stem Tube.
[0021] The Container is elongated, made of polypropylene, circular, and asymmetrical in axial crosssection.
[0022] The Down-Stem Tube is elongated, made of polypropylene, and circular. [0023] Fig. 1 illustrates the Container has a height of 257.02 cm 20, a diameter at its widest point of 97.79 cm 21, a diameter at its narrowest point of 49.31 cm 22, a diameter of 81.4 cm 23 at its widest point near one end, a diameter of 81.27 cm 24 representing the level where the liquid is filled, an exterior diameter at one end of 75.22 cm 25 which has an interior diameter of 73.22 cm 26, an area above the liquid line which holds smoke from the burned tobacco 27, an area below the liquid line which holds liquid to cool and humidify the smoke 28, and a recessed cylindrical cavity at the other end with an external diameter measuring 20.45 cm 29
[0024] Fig. 2 illustrates the Down-Stem Tube measuring 254.49 cm 30 in axial length, measures an exterior diameter at one end of 15.54 cm 31 with an interior diameter of 15 cm 32, measures 10.19 cm 33 in diameter at the other end which tapers to an exterior diameter of 14.01cm 34 that is 249.63 cm 35 in axial length from 31
[0025] Fig. 2 illustrates that the Down-Stem Tube has vertical holes 36 on opposite sides near one end of the Tube 33.
[0026] Fig. 3 illustrates the Container has a thickness of 1 mm near the top 37, a thickness of 2 mm near the middle of the Container 38 and a height of 5mm for the recessed cylindrical cavity 39, and thickness of 2mm for the Down-Stem Tube 40.
