- a flange portion 31 that protrudes radially outward is provided at the upstream end of the fuel inlet cylinder portion 25 .
- the fixing part 30 includes an annular convex part 32 that protrudes radially inward and is fixed to the flange part 31 in contact with the downstream side of the flange part 31.

- Figure 4 shows how this fixation is performed.
- the fixed part 30 side of the orifice member 27 is coaxial with the flange part 31 of the fuel inlet cylinder part 25.
- the annular convex portion 32 is slightly expanded by pressing it upward, and the annular convex portion 32 is expanded over the flange portion 31.
- the annular convex portion 32 is located on the downstream side of the flange portion 31 and the outer periphery of the flange portion 31 is in contact with the inner surface of the fixing portion 30, so that the orifice member 27 is fixed to the fuel inlet cylinder portion 25.
- the orifice member 27 is made of a member that can be elastically deformed to the extent that such fixation can be achieved.

- the resulting magnetic force first attracts the movable core 16 to the fixed core 4, compressing the auxiliary spring 20, which has a smaller set load than the valve spring 19. While doing so, it comes into contact with the valve opening side stopper 17. Further, being attracted by the fixed core 4, the movable core 16 moves the valve-opening side stopper 17 against the set load of the valve spring 19, collides with the suction surface 15, and stops. Due to this movement of the valve-opening side stopper 17, the valve portion 6 at the tip of the rod 7 fixed to the valve-opening side stopper 17 is separated from the valve seat 2, and becomes in the valve open state.
- valve element 8 consisting of the valve part 6 and the rod 7 overshoots due to its inertia, but the valve closing side stopper 18 integrated with the valve element 8 overshoots. collides with the movable core 16, and the overshoot is stopped. During this time, the valve-opening side stopper 17 moves away from the movable core 16 by the amount of overshoot of the valve body 8, increasing the compressive deformation of the valve spring 19. overshoot can be suppressed.
- the repulsive force of the valve spring 19 causes the valve opening side stopper 17 to return to the position where it comes into contact with the movable core 16 that is in contact with the suction surface 15, so that the valve body 8 is opened to a predetermined value. It is held in the valve position.
- the set load of the auxiliary spring 20 is set smaller than the set load of the valve spring 19 that biases the valve body 8 in the valve closing direction, so that when the coil 5 is energized, the auxiliary spring 20 It does not interfere with the suction against the movable core 16 and the abutment of the valve opening side stopper 17 against the movable core 16 by the valve spring 19, and does not prevent the valve body 8 from opening to a predetermined position.
- the impact force that the movable core 16 applies to the suction surface 15 is the impact force when only the movable core 16 first collides with the suction surface 15, and then the impact force on the valve closing side. Since the impact force is divided into the impact force when the stopper 18 collides with the movable core 16, the energy of each collision becomes relatively small, which prevents abrasion of the abutting portions of the suction surface 15 and the movable core 16, and also reduces collision noise. It can be kept small.
- valve spring 19 is deformed by more compression deformation than when the valve is normally opened. This will absorb the impact and reduce the impact force.
- valve body 8 When the valve body 8 opens, fuel is pumped from a fuel pump (not shown) to the fuel passage 9 through the orifice 26 and the filter 28, and is transferred to the hollow part 13 of the fixed core 4, the flat part 38 around the valve opening side stopper 17, and the movable The fuel is directly injected from the fuel injection hole 36 into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, sequentially through the through hole 39 of the core 16, the inside of the valve housing 3, and the flat surface around the valve portion 6.
- a fuel pump not shown
- the valve-opening side stopper 17 is pushed by the repulsive force of the valve spring 19. 2 side and seat the valve part 6 on the valve seat 2.
- the movable core 16 is moved toward the valve seat 2 of the valve portion 6 due to the influence of residual magnetism between it and the fixed core 4 and because the set load of the auxiliary spring 20 that biases the movable core 16 forward is relatively small. It moves slightly after sitting down.
- valve body 8 When the valve body 8 is first seated on the valve seat 2, it rebounds due to the seating impact, but the movable core 16, which moves later, comes into contact with the valve-closing side stopper 18 fixed to the rebounding valve body 8, thereby closing the valve. The amount of bounce of the body 8 is minimized.
- the valve body 8 When the rebound of the valve body 8 is suppressed, the valve body 8 is held in the closed state by the repulsive force of the valve spring 19 to stop fuel injection, and the movable core 16 is moved to the valve closing side stopper 18 by the repulsive force of the auxiliary spring 20. is held in contact with the
- the impact force that the valve body 8 applies to the valve seat 2 is the impact force when only the valve body 8 first seats on the valve seat 2, and then the impact force that is applied to the valve seat 2 by the movable core 16. and the impact force when it collides with the valve-closing stopper 18, so each collision energy is relatively small.
- valve body 8 when the valve body 8 first seats on the valve seat 2, it bounces back due to the impact of sitting on the valve seat 2, and then it seats on the valve seat 2 again and gives an impact, but the valve closing stroke after the valve body 8 rebounds is , is much smaller than the valve closing stroke of the valve body 8 from the normal valve opening position, so the impact force exerted on the valve seat 2 is extremely small. This prevents wear of the seating portions of the valve portion 6 and the valve seat 2, and suppresses seating noise.
- the orifice member 27 is installed in the fuel passage 9 by fixing the inside of the fixing part 30 to the outer circumference of the fuel inlet cylinder part 25. It can be installed without the need to provide a press-fit part inside it. Therefore, in order to provide the orifice member 27, it is not necessary to change the design of the inside of the fuel inlet cylinder section 25 or the filter 28 provided there.

- the orifice member 27 shown in FIG. 3 is used as the orifice member.
