Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Elektrolyseanlage (1) umfassend einen Elektrolyseur (3) zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff (H2) und Sauerstoff (O2) als Produktgase, wobei Wasser als Edukt-Wasser (5) dem Elektrolyseur (1) zugeführt wird und an einer ionendurchlässigen Membran (7) zu Wasserstoff (H2) und Sauerstoff (O2) aufgespalten wird. Vor der Aufspaltung wird das Edukt-Wasser (5) hinsichtlich des Drucks (pE) und der Temperatur (TE) in einen thermodynamischen Zustand in der Nähe des Siedepunktes des Wassers gebracht und in diesem Zustand der Membran (7) zugeführt. Dabei wird Edukt-Wasser (5) an der Membran (7) zum Sieden gebracht und in die Gasphase überführt, wobei Edukt-Wasser (5) in der Gasphase an der Membran (7) aufgespalten wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Elektrolyseanlage (1) mit einem Elektrolyseur (3) zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff (H2) und Sauerstoff (O2) als Produktgase.
