In some embodiments, if the first terminal is in an unconnected state, the method may further include step S725. In step S725, the AMF network element at the network side triggers a service request and starts a paging process.
S750。In some embodiments, after step S740 is executed, the AMF network element can also forward the response message of the update result returned by the first terminal to the PCF network element. As an implementation, the AMF can call the Namf_Communication_N1MessageNotify service to send the first terminal The response message is forwarded to the PCF network element, for details, refer to step S750 in the flow chart shown in FIG. 7 .
In some embodiments, the first information configured by the PCF network element to the first terminal is public policy information. The first information may include the first event and the operation of the ProSe service corresponding to the first event. As an example, the first information may be that a ProSe discovery operation is performed at 10 am every day. Wherein, the first event is at 10 am every day, and the operation of the ProSe service corresponding to this event is the operation of ProSe discovery. Then, at 10 am every day, the first terminal starts to perform the ProSe discovery operation due to the trigger of the first event.
In some embodiments, the first information configured by the PCF network element to the first terminal is dedicated policy information. The first information may only include the first event, because when the first information is dedicated policy information, the first information itself can already represent the operation of the ProSe service, and there is no need to carry information about the first event in the first information. Information about the operation of the ProSe service corresponding to the event.
In some embodiments, when the first information is dedicated policy information, if the first terminal is required to perform further ProSe service operations, the first information may further include further ProSe service operations corresponding to the first event. For example, the first information may also include the ProSe discovery operation of the direct discovery mode A corresponding to the first event, or the ProSe discovery operation of the direct discovery mode B corresponding to the first event, then the first terminal may detect When the first event is triggered, the ProSe discovery operation of the direct discovery mode A or the ProSe discovery operation of the direct discovery mode B are correspondingly performed.
As an example, when the first information is policy information for ProSe discovery, the first information may only include the first event, and the first event is used to trigger ProSe discovery. For example, the first information may be at 10 am every day, then the first terminal starts to perform the ProSe discovery operation at 10 am every day due to the trigger of the first event; or, the first information may be location information (such as specific cell identifier, tracking area identifier, etc.), then the first terminal starts to perform the ProSe discovery operation when it arrives at the location. In some embodiments, when the first information is policy information discovered by ProSe, the first information may include the first event and further ProSe discovery-related operations corresponding to the first event, for example, the first information is every day at 10 am point, execute the ProSe discovery in the direct discovery mode A, wherein the first event is at 10 am every day, and the further ProSe discovery operation corresponding to this event is the ProSe discovery in the direct discovery mode A. Then, at 10 am every day, the first terminal starts to perform the ProSe discovery operation of the direct discovery mode A due to the trigger of the first event.
As another example, when the first information is policy information for ProSe communication, the first information may only include the first event, and the first event is used to trigger ProSe communication. For example, the first information may be at 10 am every day, and the first terminal starts to perform the ProSe communication operation at 10 am every day due to the trigger of the first event; or, the first information may be location information (such as specific cell identifier, tracking area identifier, etc.), then the first terminal starts to perform the operation of ProSe communication when it arrives at the location.
As yet another example, when the first information is policy information for ProSe positioning, the first information may only include the first event, and the first event is used to trigger ProSe positioning. For example, the first information may be at 10 am every day, and the first terminal starts to perform ProSe positioning at 10 am every day due to the trigger of the first event; or, the first information may be position information (such as specific cell identifier, tracking area identifier, etc.), then the first terminal starts to perform the operation of ProSe positioning when it arrives at the location. In some embodiments, when the first information is policy information for ProSe positioning, the first information may include the first event and further ProSe positioning related operations (such as positioning methods) corresponding to the first event, for example, the first The information is 10 am every day, and the ProSe positioning operation of measuring the relative position between terminal devices is performed, wherein the first event is 10 am every day, and the further ProSe positioning operation corresponding to this event is measuring the relative position between terminal devices. Location. Then, at 10 am every day, the first terminal starts to perform the operation of measuring the relative positions between the terminal devices due to the trigger of the first event. In some embodiments, operations related to ProSe positioning may also include measuring or determining information such as relative distances and relative angles between terminal devices.
The core network element (such as PCF network element) is used to configure the first information to the first terminal, so that the first terminal can receive the corresponding configuration information after starting up, further reducing the resource consumption of the terminal device, and at the same time, the core network element The first information may be updated, so that the configuration of the first information is more flexible.
