Description
RIFLED GUN BARREL
Technological Field:
The invention relates to a rifled gun barrel to be used in the defense and weapon industries, which increases the shooting accuracy and destructive power and reduces the time allowed to the target by improving the bullet exit velocity.
State of the Art:
Rifled barrels have been used for many years in weapons in the defense industry and hunting. The invention in this specification is about the improvements made on the aforementioned rifled gun barrel.
The state-of-the-art rifled gun barrels have a flat, cylindrical structure. The shooting accuracy, speed and destructive power are low in the guns in which these barrels are used.
As a result, there is a need for a rifled gun barrel in which the known state of the art is exceeded and the disadvantages are eliminated.
Brief Description of the Invention:
The invention is a rifled gun barrel, which exceeds the known state of the art, eliminates the disadvantages, and offers extra advantages.
The invention aims to improve the shooting accuracy, speed and destructive power thanks to the conical shape of the rifled gun barrel.
Explanation of Figures:
The invention will be described with reference to the accompanying figures so that the properties of the invention will be more clearly understood. However, it is not intended to limit the invention to these particular embodiments. On the contrary, it is also intended to cover all alternatives, modifications and equivalents that may be included within the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. It is to be understood that the details are shown for the sole purpose of illustrating preferred embodiments of the present invention and are presented to provide the most useful and easy-to-understand description of both the methods and the conventions and conceptual features of the invention. These figures are:

Description of the Invention:
In this detailed description, the barrel (1 ), which is the subject of the invention, is only illustrated with examples that will not create any limiting effect for a better
understanding of the subject. The specification relates to a rifled gun barrel (1 ) to be used in the defense and weapon industries, which increases the shooting accuracy and destructive power and reduces the time to the target by improving the bullet exit velocity.
In firearms, the barrels (1 ) consist of a cylindrical rifled structure called rifling (10). In the present invention, the rifling (10) has a conical structure. The rifling bottom (11 ) showing the inner surface of the rifling (10) and the rifling top (12) showing the outer surface of the rifling (10) are manufactured at an angle to narrow from the bullet entry (13) to the bullet exit (14). Thus, the shooting accuracy, speed and destructive power have been improved. All this is provided by the conical structure of the entire length of the barrel (1 ).
The conical angle value of the barrel's (1 ) rifling top (12) and rifling bottom (11) varies according to the barrel length. A table has been created for this and is given below.
Conical angle values according to barrel (1) lengths are given above. The rifling (10) of the barrel (1 ) is manufactured by complying with these angle values.
