Description

DESCRIPTION
A MOUNTING APPARATUS INCLUDING A MOVABLE PLATFORM AND MOUNTING METHOD
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a mounting apparatus including a movable platform and a suspension hook fixed on the movable platform, and a mounting method of the mounting apparatus.
PRIOR ART
In the literature, connection elements (particle board screws) used for mounting in furniture and ceiling-mounted hood models make mounting difficult. Here, the connection elements weaken the structure of the mounted particle board and negatively affect the appearance of the product. The quality of the mounted particle board is an important factor in the attachment of the connection element to the particle board, thus affecting the life of the mounting. In the literature, there is a need for a mechanism that can easily mount a mountable product, provide mounting convenience and solution for different kitchen designs, and carry the product weight at the center of gravity of the product.
EP2896890 invention relates to a multi-part suspension arrangement for mounting a kitchen appliance to a wall and a method for mounting and securing such a kitchen appliance. The invention describes a multi-part suspension arrangement for a kitchen appliance to be fixed to a wall, comprising at least one first fixing point, preferably at least two first fixing points, and a mounting rail. Here, points for horizontally fixing the mounting rail to the wall are preferably two first fixing points. In the invention, at least one suspension profile, preferably one suspension profile, is preferably horizontally attached to the kitchen appliance.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to develop a solution that provides easy mounting of a mounting apparatus comprising a movable platform and a suspension hook fixed on the movable platform to an electronic home appliance, and allows easy positioning of the electronic home appliance in a balanced manner within a wooden material void. To achieve the aforementioned aims, the invention describes a mounting apparatus comprising a bearing housing; a movable platform that moves in a vertical axis (z) in a first and second mounting direction, connected to the bearing housing; and a suspension hook fixed to the inner surface of the movable platform with a hook extension. The invention includes a connecting element that provides movement in the first and second mounting directions by buffering in a connecting channel between a first hole and a second hole located on the movable platform, and provides movement of the movable platform in the first and second mounting directions by connecting to a guide channel in the bearing housing; a first and second spring holder for buffering a spring that provides a predetermined circular motion tolerance in the xz plane to the suspension hook; two or more projections located on a rear wall of the movable platform; and two or more openings on a rear wall of the bearing housing that correspond to and allow buffering of the projection, and ensure that the movable platform has a predetermined movement tolerance in the vertical axis (z) with the projection. This provides an ergonomic mounting apparatus with the movable platform and suspension hook structure. Additionally, it offers a cost-effective solution due to its ergonomic design.
A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a stopper connected within the movable platform that provides movement restriction corresponding to the hook extension during the movement of the suspension hook in the fourth mounting direction. This prevents the suspension hook from being embedded inward as the hook extension serves as a barrier in front of the hook extension during the inward movement of the suspension hook. Another connecting element providing a blocking function is the spring, but the stopper is intended to be the main stopper considering the spring's stretching tolerance.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the buffering of the connecting element to a nut positioned in a nut channel intersecting the connecting channel. This allows the connecting element to move vertically connected to the nut. Also, the metric adjustment of the connecting element can be made thanks to its connection to the nut.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the construction of the stopper from a flexible material with a predetermined stretching tolerance. This allows the suspension hook to move inward by the amount of the stopper's stretching in certain situations. This facilitates the positioning of a product when the cross-sectional width of the surface in contact with the mounting apparatus is narrow.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the adjustment of the movable platform's movement in the vertical axis in the first and second mounting directions using the connecting element and the buffered nut. This allows the up and down movements of the movable platform in the vertical axis to be made with the connecting element. In other words, the movable platform moves on the connecting element.
A preferred embodiment of the invention includes an inclined wall on the rear surface of the suspension hook at a predetermined angle in the xz plane. This provides a movementlimiting area towards the front end of the suspension hook with the inclined wall structure. In other words, without creating a tongue structure, the inclined wall extending forward provides another movement-limiting factor for the movement of the suspension hook inward into the movable platform.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the connection of the first spring holder on the inclined wall. This provides a connection area for the spring on the suspension hook, ensuring that the spring can balance between the movable platform and the hook.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the connection of the second spring holder to the inner surface of the movable platform. This provides a connection area for the spring on the inner surface of the movable platform, ensuring that the spring can balance between the movable platform and the hook.
A preferred embodiment of the invention enables the mounting of a mountable electronic home appliance to a wooden material using the mounting apparatus. This provides ergonomic advantages when using the mounting apparatus for mounting the electronic home appliance to a wooden material.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the mounting of the mounting apparatus to the electronic home appliance with screws through the fixing holes in one or more recesses located on the side wall of the bearing housing. This allows the mounting apparatus to be mounted to the electronic home appliance through the fixing holes. Here, each fixing hole is screwed with one screw.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the adjustment of the movable platform on the mounting apparatus to provide a movement stroke between a predetermined first position and a second position. This allows the movable platform to move between a position where the guide channel gap ends and another position where it touches the upper point of a product. Here, the movable platform is 16 mm above the lowest point of the apparatus in the first position and 26 mm above the lowest point of the apparatus in the second position. Thus, the movement stroke of the movable platform is 10 mm, and the movable platform can move linearly in the vertical axis within a 10 mm space.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is the construction of the bearing housing, movable platform, and suspension hook from metal or plastic material. This allows some of the connecting elements to be made of plastic, providing a cost advantage compared to similar suspension apparatus groups.
A preferred application of the invention includes the steps of mounting the mounting apparatus by buffering it into the inner side wall of the electronic home appliance and attaching it with screws through the fixing holes; positioning the mounting apparatus on a wooden material approximately so that it corresponds to a carrying surface of the electronic home appliance; and ensuring the linear movement of the movable platform in the vertical axis between the bearing housing and a body plate of the electronic home appliance. This provides an improved method for mounting the mounting apparatus, which can be easily installed in the area where the product will be positioned when mounted to the electronic home appliance. In this case, the electronic home appliance can be a cooker hood, and the wooden material can be a particleboard/mdf cabinet or material.
A preferred application of the invention includes the step of tightening the connecting element that allows the movable platform to move in the vertical axis by removing a filter element on the front surface of the electronic home appliance and adjusting the metric setting. This ensures that the connecting element can be adjusted on a cooker hood after the mounting apparatus is installed.
A preferred application of the invention includes the step of positioning the suspension hook on a wooden material on the carrying surface by moving it in the third mounting direction with the help of a spring. This ensures that the suspension hook, which moves back and forth with the spring mechanism inside, moves outward in the horizontal axis at the appropriate position, and with the contact of the carrying surface with the wooden material, the electronic apparatus is balanced between the wooden materials. Here, by mounting the mounting apparatus on the right and left side walls of the cooker hood, for example, the balance is maintained by contacting the wooden material in a gap between the wooden materials. In other words, the mounting apparatus contacts the material projections in a gap between particleboard cabinets, for example, and supports the cooker hood on both sides in a balanced manner. In this detailed description, the subject matter of the invention has been explained with references to examples without any limitation, solely for a better understanding of the subject matter.
In Figures 1 and 2, the connecting elements related to the mounting apparatus subject of the invention are shown in perspective. Here, in the perspectives of Figure 1 and Figure 2, a depth axis (x), a horizontal axis (y), a vertical axis (z), a depth-horizontal plane (xy), a horizontal-vertical plane (yz), a depth-vertical plane (xz), a first mounting direction (a), a second mounting direction (b), a third mounting direction (c), and a fourth mounting direction (d) are shown. In the invention, there is a bearing housing (12) surrounding and holding the mounting apparatus (10). There is also a movable platform (20) connected to the bearing housing (12) from the inside. The movable platform (20) moves in the first and second mounting directions (a, b) in the vertical axis (z). Additionally, there is a suspension hook (26) in the mounting apparatus (10). On the suspension hook (26), there is a hook extension (52) extending from the right and left ends. The suspension hook (26) is fixed to the inner surface of the movable platform (20) with the hook extension (52). In the mounting apparatus (10), there is a spring (38) placed between the movable platform (20) and the suspension hook (26) to provide movement tolerance for the suspension hook (16) in the third and fourth mounting directions (c, d). The ability of the movable platform (20) to move in the vertical axis (z) is ensured by the connection of a connecting element (44) and a nut (48) connected to the movable platform (20). The ability of the suspension hook (26) to move in the third and fourth mounting directions (c, d) is ensured by placing the head of the connecting element (44) in a guide channel (54). Here, the guide channel (54) serves as a guide bearing that allows the connecting element (44) to move. When a force is applied to the suspension hook (26) from the depth axis (x) or the depth-vertical plane (xz), the suspension hook (26) is moved in a circular motion in the specified plane (xz) around the rotation axis of the hook extension (52), and when the force is removed, the spring (38) pushes the suspension hook (26) forward (c) due to the force it applies, causing the suspension hook (26) to move in a circular motion in the specified plane (xz). The front part of the suspension hook (26) includes a wider angled surface, and the rear part includes a narrower angled surface. The suspension hook (26) can be buffered in the depth axis (x) within the movable platform (20). In the movable platform (20), it is positioned in the fourth mounting direction (d) in the depth axis (x) within the bearing housing (12). Furthermore, to ensure the mounting of the mounting apparatus (10) on mountable products, maintaining balance on the horizontal axis (y) and between the depth-horizontal planar (xy) and the horizontal-vertical planar (yz), there are preferably four compartments (58) on a side wall (56) of the bearing housing (12). Here, the mounting apparatus (10) is mounted on mountable products through the fixing holes (60) in the compartments (58). Additionally, the bearing housing (12), the movable platform (20), and the suspension hook (26) can be made of metal or plastic material. For example, by making the bearing housing (12), the movable platform (20), and the suspension hook (26) from a plastic material, the mounting apparatus (10) can be manufactured at a reasonable cost.
In Figure 3, the working position of the movable platform related to the invention subject mounting apparatus is shown in perspective. In Figure 4, the invention subject mounting apparatus is shown from a rear perspective. In the bearing housing (12) of the mounting apparatus (10), there is one or more opening (16), preferably two openings, in a rear wall (14). These openings (16) are designed to provide a guide line in the vertical axis (z). On the rear wall (22) of the movable platform (20), there are two or more protrusions (24). Preferably, there are two protrusions (24) extending along the vertical axis (z) at the corners of the rear wall (22) of the movable platform (20). Here, the movable platform (20) is buffered, i.e., placed inside the openings (16) with the protrusions (24). The ends of the openings (16) are closed at the top and bottom. Thus, the ability of the movable platform (20) to move with the protrusion (24) in the vertical axis (z) up to the closed boundaries at the top and bottom of the openings (16), i.e., within the specified movement tolerance, is ensured. Here, these openings (16) are designed to ensure that the movable platform (20) moves linearly and smoothly along the connecting element (44) in the vertical axis (z). In the up and down movement of the movable platform (20), the fixed suspension hook (26) can also move up and down. Thus, the movable platform (20) can move in the first mounting direction (a) in the vertical axis (z) with the force applied to the suspension hook (26) from below. The movable platform (20) on the mounting apparatus (10) moves up and down in the vertical axis (z) between a predetermined first position (62) and a second position (64). Here, a movement stroke (66) is provided between the first position (62) and the second position (64). At the first position (62), the movable platform (20) is 16 mm above the lowest point of the apparatus (10). This height (62) is the height provided by the guide channel (54). That is, the guide channel (54) is a guide line at a height of approximately 16 mm. The movable platform (20) is also 26 mm above the lowest point of the apparatus (10) at the second position (64). Here, the height difference between the second position (64) and the first position (62) gives the movement stroke (66). That is, the movement stroke of the movable platform (20) is 10 mm. Thus, the movable platform (20) moves linearly in the vertical axis (z) with a length of 10 mm. In Figure 5, the suspension hook related to the invention subject mounting apparatus is shown in perspective. In Figure 6a and Figure 6b, the mounting situation of the suspension hook related to the invention subject mounting apparatus to the movable platform is shown in cross-section. In Figure 7, the movable platform and connection elements related to the invention subject mounting apparatus are shown in perspective. In the suspension hook (26), there is an inclined wall (32) with a narrower angle on the rear surface compared to the front surface. Here, the inclined wall (32) has an angular slope in the depth-horizontal plane (xz). In order to connect the spring (38) between the suspension hook (26) and the movable platform (20), one end of the spring (38) is buffered to a first spring holder (28) on the inclined wall (32). The other end of the spring (38) is buffered to a second spring holder (30) on the inner surface inside the movable platform (20). The predetermined movement tolerance in the fourth mounting direction (d) of the suspension hook is ensured by buffering the spring (38) to the first and second spring holders (28) (30). In the fourth mounting direction (d), the spring narrows towards the second spring holder (30) and, in the third mounting direction (c), by applying pressure to the first spring holder (28), the spring (38) enables the circular movement of the suspension hook (26) around the rotation axis of the hook extension (52) in the xz plane. Since the suspension hook (26) is fixed to the movable platform (20) with the hook extensions (52), it can continue its circular movement between the K and L limiting planes (K = next number, L = next number) in the xz plane without leaving the platform (20). Here, there is a stopper (34) inside the movable platform (20) that acts as a movement limiter, corresponding to the hook extensions (52), ensuring movement restriction when the suspension hook (26) moves into the movable platform (20). For example, in the movement of the suspension hook (26) in the fourth mounting direction (d), movement restriction is provided by corresponding to the hook extension (52). Here, the stopper (34) is made of a flexible material with a predetermined flexural tolerance, for example, a plastic material. Additionally, when no force is applied to the spring (38) from the front, the suspension hook (26) can remain in the open position thanks to the spring (38). In the figures, a connection channel (46) is provided between a first hole (40) and a second hole (42) on the movable platform (20) to enable the connection element (44) to move in the first and second mounting directions (a, b). By placing the connection element (44) into the connection channel (46) and buffering the nut (48) positioned in a nut channel (50) intersecting the connection channel (46) with the connection element (44), the movable platform (20) can move vertically (z) in the up and down direction within the movement stroke (66). Here, the connection element (44) is an M4x40 bolt. Additionally, the movable platform (20) provides its vertical movement (z) with the bolt (44) and nut (48) connection. The nut (48) is placed in the nut channel (50) on the movable platform (20) in the horizontal axis (y). Thanks to the hexagonal geometry of the nut (48), it is positioned in the nut channel (50) so that it will not rotate back and forth. The M4 bolt (44) is passed through the bolt clearance (connection channel) (46) in the movable platform (20) and combined with the nut (48). Figure 8 shows the perspective mounting situation of the subject mounting apparatus on an electronic home appliance, and Figure 9 shows it in a planar view. In Figure 10 and Figure 11 , the relationship between an electronic home appliance, on which the subject mounting apparatus is mounted, and a wooden material is shown in a planar view. Two mounting apparatuses (10) are placed inside the electronic home appliance (68) so that they will be on the side walls of the appliance. Each mounting apparatus (10) is mounted on the body sheet
(70) of the electronic home appliance (68) with screws (74). Since there are four fixing holes (60) during mounting, four screws (74) are used, and each fixing hole (60) is screwed to the body sheet (70) with one screw (74). Here, the electronic home appliance (68) is a range hood. The subject mounting apparatus (10) is also developed to be positioned in a manner that ensures it stays at the center of gravity of the range hood. There is an oil-catching filter (72) on the range hood (68). By removing the oil-catching filter (72), one can access the M4 bolt (44) that allows the movable platform (20) to move in the vertical axis (z), and thus, the metric adjustment can be made by tightening the bolt (44) on the range hood (68). In other words, the product's (10) installation can be accomplished by tightening the metric bolt with a hand screwdriver. In the invention, by mounting two mounting apparatuses (10) on the right and left walls of the mountable electronic home appliance (68), the electronic home appliance (range hood) (68) is positioned to be balanced on a wooden material (76). Here, the wooden material (76) can be a wooden cabinet, for example, a particle board/mdf cabinet. Thus, the range hood (68) is positioned so that the carrying surfaces (36) of the mounting apparatuses (10) in the wooden cabinet (76) spaces come onto a bearing surface
(71 ) of the wooden material section (78). Here, with the contact of the carrying surface (36) with the bearing surface (71), the suspension latch (26) of the apparatus (10) moves in the vertical direction (z). Additionally, the range hood (68) body sheet (70) provides a movement limitation to the movable platform (20) of the mounting apparatus (10). After the mounting of the mounting apparatus (10), the movable platform (20) can move linearly in the vertical axis (z) between the bearing housing (12) and the body sheet (70). The product (68) to be mounted, for example, moves in the vertical axis (z) at the level of the particle board (70) emptying, and the suspension latch (26) moves in the bearing axis (x) thanks to the spring (38) in its positioned state, escaping from the particle board (70) and pressing on it.
Figure 12 schematically shows the mounting method related to the subject mounting apparatus. The method of mounting the subject mounting apparatus on an electronic home appliance, for example, a range hood (68), and ensuring the positioning of the range hood includes the following process steps; • Buffering the mounting apparatuses (10) inside the side wall of the electronic home appliance (68) (80),
• Mounting the mounting apparatuses (10) with screws (74) through the fixing holes (60) (82),
• Positioning the mounting apparatuses (10), mounted on the electronic home appliance (68), on a wooden material (76) corresponding to a carrying surface (36) (84),
• Approximately enabling the movement of the movable platform (20) in the vertical axis (z) (86),
• Removing a filter element (72) on the front surface of the mounted electronic home appliance (68) (88),
• Adjusting the metric of the connecting element (44) that allows the movable platform (20) to move in the vertical axis (z) (90),
• And positioning the carrying surface (36) on the wooden material by ensuring the movement of the suspension latch (26) in the third mounting direction (c) with the help of the spring (38) (92).
The advantages provided by the subject mounting apparatus are also listed below;
• It provides a cost advantage due to most of its components being plastic compared to similar suspension apparatus (10) groups.
• The assembly labor of the mounting apparatus (10) components is less than that of similar suspension mechanisms.
• The product assembly (68) can be mounted by one person with a simple hand screwdriver thanks to the suspension mechanism (10).
