Description

SURFACE CLEANING COMPOSITION WITH HIGH STABILITY AND SURFACE CLEANING PRODUCT COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITION
Subject of the Invention
The subject of the invention relates to a surface cleaning composition, which has high cleaning performance, is environment friendly and has high stability and thus long shelf life, and to a surface cleaning product comprising said composition.
State of the Art
Hygiene is one of the main factors affecting the human health. Accordingly, it is necessary to ensure the hygienic conditions in the private areas and the public areas such as schools, restaurants, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices and the like where the people are present in order to satisfy their basic needs. The ideal conditions of hygiene are provided by way of effectively cleaning the surfaces frequently contacted by the people in these areas. In case said surfaces are not effectively cleaned, the bacteria, virus and other pathogenic microorganisms accumulating on the surfaces spread to the skin of the people upon contact and cause the skin infections. Consequently, providing the ideal conditions of hygiene through the regular disinfection of the surfaces contacted by the people is the measure of first priority required to be taken to in order to ensure that the diseases are not transmitted.
Today, the cleaning of said surfaces is performed with the cleaning products that comprise chemical substances having various properties. Quaternary ammonium compounds, chlorhexidine and its derivatives, alcohols and peroxygens are among the chemical substances most effective for the cleaning of the surfaces. Hydrogen peroxide, a peroxygen compound, is a versatile and simple compound commonly used in numerous fields for the reasons that it is effective, owing to its high oxidative power, against a broad spectrum of microorganisms including bacteria, yeasts, molds, viruses and spore forming organisms and that it has a structure not harming the environment. However, hydrogen peroxide is unstable and is thus readily decomposed by the light and contaminants.
However, a sustainable cleaning performance is quite as important as high cleaning performance and environment friendly feature when choosing the cleaning products to be used in the areas that require continuous cleaning. In order to achieve the sustainable cleaning performance, it is required to prevent hydrogen peroxide from being readily decomposed and to render hydrogen peroxide stable. Although hydrogen peroxide is present in high concentrations in the conventional cleaning products, the stability of hydrogen peroxide may not be preserved in these products and the products consequently have short shelf life and provide short-term cleaning action. As a result, there exists a need in the art for the surface cleaning products, which, in addition to being effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms and being environment friendly, have high concentration stability and have long shelf life, for use in the cleaning of the surfaces.
In order to meet the above-mentioned need, a surface cleaning composition, which has high cleaning performance, is environment friendly, has long shelf life and is able to remain stable and preserve its cleaning action throughout the shelf life, and a surface cleaning product comprising said composition have been developed within the scope of the invention.
Object of the Invention
An object of the invention is to develop a surface cleaning composition, which has high cleaning performance, is environment friendly and has high stability and thus long shelf life, and a product comprising said composition.
Another object of the invention is to develop a surface cleaning wet wipe, which has high cleaning performance, is environment friendly and has high stability and thus long shelf life. Another object of the invention is to increase the use of the compound hydrogen peroxide, which has high cleaning performance, in the cleaning products, upon providing the conditions that will enable said compound to remain stable.
