Title: Collection terminal for electronic devices

This patent application relates to the field of sorting and collection, and more particularly to the field of collecting electronic devices.

The present invention will find, non-exclusively, advantageous applications in the field of collection terminals for electronic devices.

State of the art

Collection terminals for electronic devices and electrical devices of simple design, of the cardboard box or wooden box type, are known.

This type of collection terminal generally has a parallelepipedal shape and delimits an opening which allows a user to deposit a device inside the collection box, the box being emptied regularly to recover the collected objects and to recycle them for example . One of the advantages of this type of box-shaped collection terminal is its simplicity of use and its cost of manufacture.

However, such a collection terminal is not secure, and it allows an individual to pass his hand through the opening to retrieve objects inside the collection box.

Indeed, certain objects such as mobile phones or other electronic devices retain a certain market value.

The problem of security is overcome by a type of so-called electronic collection terminal, such as the terminal described and represented in the document EP2548184B1.

The so-called electronic collection terminals resemble an automatic cash dispenser, they generally include a screen forming a communication interface between the terminal and the user, a secure hatch which allows the object to be collected to be deposited and a device for recognizing the object deposited by the user.

The so-called electronic collection terminal evaluates the price of the object deposited and offers a transaction to the user who deposited the object.

This type of electronic collection terminal has the advantage of being secure, in the sense that the objects collected cannot be retrieved from the collection hatch.

However, such an electronic collection terminal is not intended to allow the recovery of the boxes and accessories associated with the deposited object. In addition, electronic collection terminals are cumbersome with regard to the number of collected objects that they are capable of storing.

Disclosure of invention

The present invention aims in particular to solve the drawbacks of the aforementioned prior art by proposing a secure collection terminal which has an improved ratio between size and storage capacity of collected objects, and which allows the collection of boxes and associated accessories. to the deposited object.

This objective, as well as others which will appear on reading the following description, is achieved with a collection terminal for electronic devices, characterized in that it comprises at least:

- a framework that delimits a plurality of cells,

- a plurality of removable lockers which are each arranged in one of the cells and which each delimit a housing provided for receiving at least one electronic device, each locker being equipped with a door and a lock,

- a lock control device for each locker, and

- a communication interface between the terminal and the user.

The multiplicity of lockers allows the terminal to be resilient and to continue to operate even if one or more lockers are defective.

In addition, the independence and accessibility of the lockers by the user allow the terminal to offer an interesting ratio between the size of the terminal and its storage capacity for collected objects. According to other optional characteristics of the invention, taken alone or in combination:

- each locker is removably mounted in the associated cell, between a position secured to the terminal and a free position in which said locker can be extracted from the associated cell;

- the terminal includes a device for locking the compartments in their secured position;

- Each lock is an electric impulse lock which is able to be locked and unlocked by the control device;

- the terminal includes a device for recognizing the object deposited by the user;

- the terminal comprises a connection device to a remote network;

- the communication interface between the terminal and the user includes a touch screen;

There is shown in Figure 1 a collection terminal 10 for electronic devices.

The collection terminal 10 comprises a framework 12 which delimits twenty-four cells 14 in each of which a removable locker 16 is arranged.

The framework 12 of the collection terminal 10, visible in FIG. 2, comprises a peripheral structure of parallelepiped shape which comprises two vertical front uprights 20 and two vertical rear uprights 22 (only one of which is visible in FIG. 2) which are interconnected by an upper frame 24 and a lower frame 26.

In addition, the frame 12 forms a first front lattice 28 and a second central lattice 30 which are spaced apart by a plurality of longitudinal struts 32.

The spacers 32 are connected to the front trellis 28 and to the central trellis 30 by an end assembly of the mortise and tenon type, for example by means of dominoes. The front trellis 28 delimits twenty-four generally square-shaped openings 34 and the central trellis 30 also delimits twenty-four generally square-shaped openings 36, these openings 34, 36 being aligned longitudinally facing each other to form the twenty-four cells. 14 which house the lockers 16.

As can be seen in Figure 3, each locker 16 defines a housing 47 provided to receive an electronic device and its packaging, as well as its accessories, for example.

Each locker 16 is provided to accommodate objects whose dimensions do not exceed ten centimeters, by ten centimeters by twenty centimeters, according to the embodiment described here. Each compartment 16 is formed by four walls, including an upper wall 48, a lower wall 50, a first side wall 52 and a second side wall 54 opposite.

Also, each locker 16 is closed by a bottom 56 and an opposite door 58.

According to a preferred embodiment, the racks 16 are identical, however it is possible to provide racks of different capacities.

The door 58 of each locker 16 is pivotally mounted by means of a hinge between a closed position illustrated in Figure 1 and an open position illustrated in Figure 3.

In its closed position, the door 58 of each locker 16 is locked by a lock 60 which is controlled by a remote control device described later.

To this end, each lock 60 comprises a strike plate 62 which is fixed inside the associated locker 16 and a bolt 64 which is mounted on an interior face of the associated door 58.

Preferably, each lock 60 is an electric impulse lock.

Each locker 16 is removably mounted in the associated cell 14, between a position secured to the terminal 10 in which the locker 16 cannot be removed from outside the terminal 10 by a user, and a free position in which the locker 16 can be extracted from the associated cell 14 to allow the replacement of a defective locker 16 for example. For this purpose, with reference to Figures 3 and 4, the front face of each locker 16 forms two vertical notches 66 which each delimit a support face 68. Each support face 68 is provided to be in longitudinal support on one of the vertical cleats 40 of the front trellis 28 of the frame 12, so as to prevent the extraction of the compartments 16 forwards when the compartments 16 occupy their position. subject.

Similarly, the bottom 56 of each locker 16 projects transversely and vertically to be in longitudinal support against the vertical cleats 44 of the central trellis 30, as can be seen in Figure 4, so as to prevent the extraction of the lockers 16 forward when the compartments 16 occupy their secured position.

It will be noted that when the lockers 16 occupy their secured position, the door 58 of the lockers 16 is flush with the front lattice 28 of the frame 12.

Also, when the lockers 16 occupy their secured position, a blocking device prevents the longitudinal recess of the lockers 16 towards the inside of the terminal 10.

With reference to Figures 4 and 5, the locking device comprises seven locking bars 72 which each extend transversely, i.e. one locking bar 72 per transverse row of locker 16.

In a complementary manner, the locking device comprises a plurality of hooks 70 which are fixed to the central trellis 30 of the frame 12 and which are provided to cooperate by form cooperation with the locking bars 72.

The locking bars 72 are removably mounted between a locking position illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, in which the locking bars 72 are each interposed between the bottom 56 of each compartment 16 and the hooks 70 to lock the compartments 16 in their secured position, and an unlocking position in which the locking bars 72 release the lockers 16 associated.

To release the compartments 16, the locking bars 72 are removed from the hooks 70, so that the compartments 16 can be extracted from their cell 14 longitudinally towards the rear of the terminal 10, as illustrated in FIG. 5 for one of the compartments 16.

To this end, the terminal 10 comprises a rear panel 74 which is removable to allow access in particular to the locker locking device 16.

Advantageously, the lockers 16 and the frame 12 of the terminal are made of wood or wood derivative, for example from medium density wood fiber panels.

Also, as can be seen in Figure 1, the terminal 10 is dressed by longitudinal wooden blades 76 which extend from the vertical front uprights 20 and the vertical rear uprights 22, and which also dress the upper frame 24 of terminal 10.

The blades 76 participate in the rigidity of the frame 12 of the terminal 10. According to another aspect of the invention, the terminal 10 comprises a communication interface 78 between the terminal 10 and the user, a device for recognizing the object deposited by the user, a connection device 82 to a network at remote and a remote control device 84 of the door locks 60 of the lockers 16.

The communication interface 78 between the terminal 10 and the user, illustrated in FIG. 1, comprises a touch screen 86 which is mounted on the front face of the terminal 10, to allow a user to be identified and to be credited with the amount of the sale of the device deposited by the user.

The deposited object recognition device is a device known to those skilled in the art which will therefore not be described in detail.

The deposited object recognition device comprises for example a camera 88 which is designed to take images of the deposited device and which cooperates with a computer 90 to identify the deposited object.

Also, the recognition device may provide a means of connecting the deposited device to terminal 10, to allow a more in-depth analysis of the deposited device.

The connection device 82 to a remote network allows remote data exchange between the terminal 10 and a remote computer, in particular to ensure remote maintenance of the terminal 10 or to ensure the proper functioning of the terminal 10.

The connection device 82 comprises for example a radio modem which uses the telephone network, or a Wi-Fi antenna, which cooperates with the computer 90.

The remote control device 84 of the locks 60 of the locker doors 16 is constituted by the computer 90.

Preferably, the computer 90 is associated with an electronic module (not shown) of the single-board nanocomputer type which controls the opening and closing of the door locks 60 of the lockers 16. Finally, the terminal 10 is equipped with a control 92 which is arranged inside terminal 10 and which is intended to allow maintenance of terminal 10.

Advantageously, the terminal 10 according to the invention makes it possible to collect a large number of objects while having a limited volume, thanks to its design with multiple compartments.

In addition, each locker offers a volume intended to accommodate an object of the mobile phone type, the associated accessories, as well as its packaging.

Also, the multiplicity of compartments 16 of terminal 10 allows terminal 10 to be resilient and to continue to operate even if one or more compartments 16 are defective.

It will also be noted that the defective compartments 16 can easily be replaced by new compartments. Finally, the locks 60 which equip the lockers 16 guarantee the security of the objects which are housed in the lockers 16. Naturally, the invention is described in the foregoing by way of example. It is understood that the person skilled in the art is able to produce different variant embodiments of the invention without departing from the scope of the invention.

For example, the different embodiments of the invention can be combined with each other.

1. Collection terminal (10) for electronic devices, characterized in that it comprises at least:

- a framework (12) which delimits a plurality of cells (14),

- a plurality of removable lockers (16) which are each arranged in one of the cells (14) and which each delimit a housing (47) provided to receive at least one electronic device, each locker (16) being equipped with a door ( 58) and a lock (60),

- a control device (84) for the lock (60) of each locker (16), and

- a communication interface (78) between the terminal (10) and the user.

2. Collection terminal (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that each compartment (16) is removably mounted in the associated cell (14), between a position secured to the terminal (10) and a free position wherein said locker (16) can be extracted from the associated cell (14).

3. Terminal (10) collection according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises a locking device (72, 70) lockers (16) in their secured position.
