Abstract
Invention relates to a mold embodiment comprising female mold (10) containing primary mold area (11) and secondary mold area (12) used in manufacture of sheet parts (40) and providing sheet part (40) to be shaped take its final form. The invention is characterized by comprising a male mold (20) moving in press pushing direction (x) and providing shaping to sheet part (40) inside the female mold (10), at least one insert (30) located in the desired area inside male mold (20) and providing guiding male mold (20) to secondary mold area (12) inside female mold (10) to provide giving shape to sheet part (40).
Description
Mold Embodiment
Technical Field
The invention relates to a mold embodiment used in manufacture of sheet parts.
The invention particularly relates to a mold embodiment providing sheet part to take mold matching female mold by means of placing male mold made from rubber or flexible material onto insert located inside the male mold during forming fine sheet part to be shaped.
Prior Art
In the related art technology of forming part, it is common use that mold systems comprising a male mold and a female mold structure made from rubber, plastic or similar derivatives in production of fine sheet parts of few numbers.
In present applications flexible male mold structure is in cylindrical form and provides shape of thin sheet part upon barrelling of rubber. Said flexible male mold structure may cause thinning of sheet parts by means of too much pressure on some areas in the sheet part surface to be shaped. In such casein such case when flexible male mold starts to contact sheet part during compression, particularly thin sheet parts under 1 mm displays a twisting inwardly and accordingly, flexible male mold may prevent forming of thin part to be shaped. Therefore, there is a need for a mold embodiment providing elimination of form problems experienced during shaping thin sheet parts in the related art.
As a result, the because of existence the said problems mentioned above and inadequacy of solutions, it has been necessary to make a development in the related art.
Purpose of the Invention
This present invention relates to a mold embodiment eliminating above mentioned disadvantages and providing new advantages in the related art.
Main purpose of the invention is to a mold embodiment providing sheet part to take form matching female mold by means of placing male mold made from rubber or flexible material onto insert located inside the male mold during forming fine sheet part to be shaped.
Purpose of the invention is to provide shaping of thin sheet by means of a male mold made from rubber or flexible material in conic or different geometric shape and having metal or plastic insert instead of cylindrical rubber flexible male mold structure.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide shaping thin sheet part by directing into female mold upper and lower area easier by help of metal or plastic insert inside male mold made from rubber or flexible material.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide use of lower cost mold in production of thin sheet parts of few amount.
In order to achieve all purposes mentioned above and to be elicited from detailed description, the invention a mold embodiment comprising female mold containing primary mold area and secondary mold area used in manufacture of sheet parts and providing sheet part to be shaped take its final form and characterized by comprising;
- male mold moving in press pushing direction and providing shaping to sheet part inside female mold,
- at least one insert located in the desired area inside male mold and providing guiding male mold to secondary mold area inside female mold to provide giving shape to sheet part.
The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood better in the figures given below and the detailed description by reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made based on the figures and taking into account the detailed descriptions.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of mold embodiment being subject of the invention have been described in a manner not forming any restrictive effect and only for purpose of better understanding of the matter.
Figure 1 shows an illustrative cross-section view of mold embodiment of the invention. According to it, in the most basic form the mold embodiment comprises female mold (10) providing giving final shape to sheet part (40) to be shaped, male mold (20) moving in press pushing direction (x) and shaping sheet part (40) inside female mold (10), insert (30) located inside male mold (20) and providing guidance of male mold (20) into female mold (10).
Female mold (10) basically is the fixed structured part giving final shape to sheet part (40) to be shaped according to male mold (20). Said female mold (10) contains primary mold area (11) and secondary mold area (12) in intrusion or raise form providing guidance of sheet part (40) with movement of male mold (20) in press push direction (x) to provide shaping sheet part (40).
Male mold (20) is preferably in conical form and can be of different geometric structure. Said male mold (20) is made from rubber or flexible material. At least one insert (30) made from metal or plastic is located inside the male mold (20). The insert (30) can be of different geometric shapes and can be in different areas in the male mold (20) and be in desired number.
The insert (30) provides direction of male mold (20) to secondary mold area (12) inside the female mold (10) to provide shaping of sheet part (40). The male mold (20) directed by the insert (30) shapes sheet part (40) in secondary mold area (12). While the male mold (20) gives shape to sheet part (40) in primary mold area (11) inside female mold (10) during movement in press push direction (x), the insert (30) direction is not needed.
In an alternative embodiment of the invention, a secondary insert (31 ) can be located inside the male mold (20) as shown in figure 2. Said secondary insert (31) provides direction of the male mold (20) to different places needed inside the female mold (10).
Working principle of mold embodiment of the invention is as follow;
Sheet part (40) to be shaped is located inside the female mold (10) and the male mold (20) is moved downward in press push direction (x). The male mold (20) gives shape to sheet part (40) in primary mold area (11 ) inside female mold (10) during movement in press push direction (x) and continues to move in press push direction (x).
While the male mold (20) continues its movement from primary mold area (11) in press push direction (x), its direction to secondary mold area (12) is provided by the
insert (30) and sheet part (40) takes its final form according to form of the female mold (10).
Claims
1. A mold embodiment comprising female mold (10) containing primary mold area (11 ) and secondary mold area (12) used in manufacture of sheet parts (40) and providing sheet part (40) to be shaped take its final form and characterized by comprising;
- male mold (20) moving in press pushing direction (x) and providing shaping to sheet part (40) inside the female mold (10),
- at least one insert (30) located in the desired area inside male mold (20) and providing guiding male mold (20) to secondary mold area (12) inside female mold (10) to provide giving shape to sheet part (40).
2. The mold embodiment according to claim 1 characterized in that said male mold (20) being made from rubber or flexible material.
3. The mold embodiment according to claim 1 characterized in that said male mold (20) being of conical or different geometric shape.
4. The mold embodiment according to claim 1 characterized in that said insert (30) being made from metal or plastic.
5. The mold embodiment according to claim 1 characterized by comprising a secondary insert (31) located inside said male mold (20) and providing direction of male mold (20) to needed different locations as needed inside the female mold (10).
