Abstract

The invention is related to a functional toothbrush that provides detailed and effective oral care, required for oral care, consisting of the toothbrush head (1) comprising the toothbrush, dental floss, and mouthwash, body (2), spool cover (3), dental floss spool (4), spool rotating apparatus (5), cutting surface (6), cutting surface cover (7), plastic joint hinge (8), cylinder cover apparatus (9), protrusion gap (10), spring protrusion (11), the structure holding the spring system (12) and the receptacle (13).

Technical Field

The invention is related to a functional toothbrush, which is used in dental and oral care health, has a replaceable head, contains dental floss and mouthwash together, and has practical use.

Background of the Invention

A healthy life begins with oral health. Therefore, paying attention to oral and dental health increases the quality of life. Oral care is one of the most important cares one can do for teeth and gums. Having healthy teeth allows one to eat and talk with confidence, in addition to looking and feeling good. Good oral health is essential for a person's well-being.

Oral and dental health is an important issue that everyone, young or old, should pay attention to. If the necessary care is not taken in this regard and daily care is neglected, difficult outcomes such as important health problems and heavy treatment costs occur.

Regular and effective maintenance of personal oral hygiene is an important factor in addition to regular dental examinations to prevent dental and gingival diseases. To maintain oral hygiene, toothbrush, dental floss and mouthwash should be used. Daily care that includes routine brushing and flossing helps stop dental problems before they arise. The aim of oral care is prophylaxis, that is, preventive treatment.

Dentists recommend the use of toothbrushes, dental floss, and mouthwash for oral health. Cleaning with toothbrushes, dental floss and mouthwash provides effective and continued beneficial care. However, these products are provided separately for use. In addition, since all oral care products take up a lot of space, there are difficulties during transportation.

In the present state, brushing one’s teeth is not sufficient for oral care. For detailed oral care, the interdental surfaces should be cleaned with dental floss and mouthwash should be used. In toothbrushes that combine dental floss and brush in the known state of the art, the dental floss is constantly changed manually. This can be difficult during use. Plastic waste savings cannot be achieved completely in toothbrushes whose brush heads are changed.

The invention eliminates the disadvantages in the known state of the art and meets the requirements.

With the invention, dental floss, toothbrush, and mouthwash can be used together. Since it can be carried easily, it can be used continuously in daily oral care routines. As soon as the bristles in the invention are deformed over time, the head part alone can be replaced, thereby, only the brush can be changed with less cost without discarding the entire toothbrush. Since the floss is mounted on the body of the toothbrush, the floss is easily included in the oral care process, and the invention has a unique appearance. The fact that the dental floss is with the brush increases its visibility and ensures its continuous use. Disposable mouthwash is included in the invention. Since mouthwash is also included with the invention, the user does not need to carry the same as well.

Since the invention includes a replaceable toothbrush head, dental floss, and mouthwash together, it reduces the amount of plastic waste and is environmentally friendly. With the replaceable toothbrush head, the head part alone can be thrown away, saving plastic material as well. It is used practically as it contains routine oral care materials that should be together and can be easily carried anywhere without taking up space. Tooth cleaning is carried out with the invention in a meticulous and detailed manner.

Thanks to the invention, active and more frequent use of dental floss in oral care is provided. Individuals' daily oral care practices can be completed practically and completely. By combining all the materials useful for dental health, tooth and gum problems can be prevented before they occur. It is also ensured that the microorganisms that may develop in the mouth can be destroyed.

The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly thanks to the figures given below and the detailed description written with reference to these figures, and therefore the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and detailed explanation into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The subject of the invention is a toothbrush that consists of a dental floss spool (4), a spool cover (3) that protects this spool, a removable toothbrush head (1), a mouthwash reservoir (13), and the body (2) in which this reservoir (13) is located.

The invention comprises

• toothbrush head (1) with replaceable heads, which provides brushing of the teeth,

• the body (2) which is used to grip the toothbrush and brings together the floss spool cover (3) and the toothbrush head (1),

• the spool cover (3) containing dental floss, which holds the dental floss spool (4),

• dental floss spool (4) that holds and wraps the floss around it,

• spool rotating apparatus (5), which allows the dental floss spool (4) to rotate freely during use and for the dental floss spool (4) to easily be removed and installed from the spool cover (3) for the placement of the dental floss,

• cutting surface (6), which cuts the floss at optimum dimensions during use,

• the cutting surface cover (7), which holds the cutting surface (6) inside the spool cover (3) for safety purposes,

• plastic joint hinge (8), which enables the spool cover (3) to be opened,

• the cylinder lid apparatus (9), which rotates and allows the dental floss spool cover (3) to enter the body (2), and which is located under the spool cover (3),

• the protrusion gap (10), located in the toothbrush head (1), which is the part where the spring protrusion (11) and the structure (12) holding the spring system will enter,

• the spring protrusion (11), which will enter the toothbrush head (1) and the protrusion gap (10), allowing the toothbrush head (1) to be easily removed and installed by pressing on the same,

• the structure (12) that holds the spring system that enters the toothbrush head (1), which has a movable spring that stays fixed in the upward direction when the toothbrush head (1) is attached and goes back when it is desired to be removed, and that serves to hold the spring protrusion (11),

• receptacle (13) that holds the mouthwash and that can be refilled.

The toothbrush head (1) and the body (2) are connected by a spring system. The dental floss spool cover (3) and the body (2) are connected by a structure similar to the rotary cover system. When the toothbrush is desired to be changed, the brush can be easily removed by lightly pressing the spring protrusion (11) on the toothbrush head (1), thanks to the spring within, which moves downwards. When the toothbrush head (1) is desired to be attached, the spring system located on the spring protrusion (11) on the same rises upwards and fixes the brush in place.

It is ensured that mouthwash is found and contained in the receptacle (13) located inside the body (2). When the mouthwash inside the body (2) is desired to be used, this part can be removed from the dental floss spool (3) by turning this part like a cover, thanks to the cylinder lid apparatus (9). After the mouthwash is filled into the chamber (13), the dental floss spool

(3) is turned again and the receptacle (13) is closed.

The dental floss that will be used is wound on the dental floss spool (4). The spool cover (3) is attached and removed from the body (2) by turning it thanks to the cover apparatus (9). Thanks to this function, access to the receptacle (13) that contains the mouthwash is provided. When the dental floss is exhausted, the spool rotation apparatus (5) and the dental floss spool

(4) are removed from the spool container (3) and a new floss-wrapped spool is put in place, so that the floss spool cover (3) is reused, thus saving plastic.

After brushing their teeth, the user opens the spool cover (3) located at the back, thanks to the plastic joint hinge (8), and takes the required dental floss. The plastic joint hinge (8) allows the spool cover (3) to be opened 180° so that the user can take the dental floss more easily. While the dental floss is being taken, the cutting surface (6) belonging to the spool cover (3) tears the rotating dental floss with the spool rotation apparatus (5) and ensures that the floss is taken in the desired dimensions. Thereby, the user can clean between their teeth with dental floss.

The dental floss will be pulled from the spool (4) by the user, in a rotating fashion, and when the desired amount is taken, the lid of the spool container (3) will be closed, while the cutting surface (6) at the end of the lid helps to cut the floss.

Thanks to the replaceable toothbrush head (1), the head part alone can be removed and a new brush can be installed. Thereby, the toothbrush can be used for a long time. In the invention, the teeth are brushed with the toothbrush head (1) part, and the spool cover (3) with dental floss supplies the dental floss for cleaning between the teeth. Thanks to the body (2), the toothbrush head (1) and the dental floss spool cover (3) are kept in one place and held by hand. The mouthwash used for cleaning teeth is also located in the receptacle (13) inside the body (2). The user can fill the receptacle (13) again after using the mouthwash in this receptacle (13).

It is understood that a person skilled in the art can demonstrate the innovation revealed in the invention by using similar embodiments and/or can apply this embodiment to other similar fields used in the related art. Therefore, it is obvious that such embodiments will lack the criteria of innovation and especially of exceeding the known state of the art.

Claims

CLAIMS A functional toothbrush, characterized in that it comprises;

• the body (2), which is used to grip the toothbrush and brings together the floss spool cover (3) and the toothbrush head (1),

• dental floss spool (4) that holds and wraps the floss around it,

• cutting surface (6), which is found at the tip of the cover when the lid of the spool cover (3) is closed after taking the desired amount of dental floss by the user from the spool (4) by means of the spool rotating apparatus (5), and which cuts the floss at optimum dimensions,

• the plastic joint hinge (8) which allows the spool cover (3) at the back to be opened 180° by rotating,

• the structure (12) that holds the spring system that enters the toothbrush head (1), which has a movable spring and serves to hold the spring protrusion (11),

• receptacle (13) that holds the mouthwash and that can be refilled. A functional toothbrush according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a protrusion gap (10) that joins the toothbrush head (1) and the body (2) to each other

7 and provides for the spring protrusion (11) and the structure (12) that holds the spring system located in the body (3) to enter. A functional toothbrush according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises the spring protrusion (11), which is located on the toothbrush head (1) during the changing of the toothbrush and allows for the brush to be removed with the downwards movement of the spring located within, and the brush to be attached with the upward movement of the spring and fixed in place. A functional toothbrush according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises the mouthwash receptacle (13) which is located in the body (2) and which can be opened and closed by removing the dental floss spool cover (3) by turning the same with the cylindrical lid apparatus (9) for refilling when desired to be used. A functional toothbrush according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises the lid apparatus (9) which provides for the spool cover (3) containing the dental floss spool (4) wound with dental floss to be attached and removed from the body (2) by turning.
