Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an interface element for mounting arrangement and electrical connection of electronic components, and also to an arrangement for mounting and electrical connection of electronic components including an interface element, the purpose of which is to eliminate the need for electrical wiring usually involved in the electrical connection of these electronic components.
  • Electronic components are the structure of an electronic circuit, that is, they are the components that are part of any electrical or electronic circuit (from the simplest to the most complex) and that are interconnected with each other.
  • An electronic component can also be defined as any electrical device that transmits electric current through or through a conductor or semiconductor.
  • PCB printed circuit board
  • a printed circuit consists of a board formed by layers of plastic and fibrous materials (such as phenolite, glass fiber, polyester fiber and film, among other polymers) that has thin films of metallic substances (copper, silver, gold or nickel). These electrical impulses are transmitted to the components, enabling the operation of each part and, consequently, of the complete system formed by the PCB.
