Abstract

Provided is a method and apparatus for transmitting information, and a system, relating to the field of communication technologies. According to the method for transmitting information, a cloud device forwards environmental information of an environment in which a first edge device in a first local area network (LAN) is located to a second edge device in a second LAN. Therefore, the second edge device can perform relevant operations based on the environmental information of the environment in which the first edge device is located, and the second edge device has rich functions.
