为了满足无线通信的各个业务对延迟、移动性、可靠性、位置精度等方面的需求,无线接入网(Radio Access Network,RAN)需要对如何支持多种业务进行增强。其中,一种方式为,基于网络切片(slicing),对不同需求的多个业务提供更低时延,更有目标性,更大的灵活性和更高的可扩展性服务。
当UE(User Equipment,终端设备/用户设备)配置为MPS(Multimedia Priority Service,多媒体优先级业务)UE或者MCS(Mission Critical Service,任务关键业务)UE时,UE在发起业务时设置的RRC(Radio Resource Control,无线资源控制)建立原因值都为high priority(高优先级),未考虑到切片。

请参考图1,其示出了本申请一个实施例提供的网络架构100的示意图。该网络架构100可以包括:终端设备10、接入网设备20和核心网设备30。
终端设备10可以指用户设备(User Equipment,UE)、接入终端、用户单元、用户站、移动站、移动台、远方站、远程终端、移动设备、无线通信设备、用户代理或用户装置。可选地,终端设备10还可以是蜂窝电话、无绳电话、会话启动协议(Session Initiation Protocol,SIP)电话、无线本地环路(Wireless Local Loop,WLL)站、个人数字处理(Personal Digita1 Assistant,PDA)、具有无线通信功能的手持设备、计算设备或连接到无线调制解调器的其它处理设备、车载设备、可穿戴设备,第五代移动通信系统(5th Generation System,5GS)中的终端设备或者未来演进的公用陆地移动通信网络(Pub1ic Land Mobi1e Network,PLMN)中的终端设备等,本申请实施例对此并不限定。为方便描述,上面提到的设备统称为终端设备。终端设备10的数量通常为多个,每一个接入网设备20所管理的小区内可以分布一个或多个终端设备10。
接入网设备20是一种部署在接入网中用以为终端设备10提供无线通信功能的设备。接入网设备20可以包括各种形式的宏基站,微基站,中继站,接入点等等。在采用不同的无线接入技术的系统中,具备接入网设备功能的设备的名称可能会有所不同,例如在5G NR系统中,称为gNodeB或者gNB。随着通信技术的演进,“接入网设备”这一名称可能会变化。为方便描述,本申请实施例中,上述为终端设备10提供无线通信功能的装置统称为接入网设备。可选地,通过接入网设备20,终端设备10和核心网设备30之间可以建立通信关系。示例性地,在长期演进(Long Term Evolution,LTE)系统中,接入网设备20可以是 演进的通用陆地无线网(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network,EUTRAN)或者EUTRAN中的一个或者多个eNodeB;在5G NR系统中,接入网设备20可以是无线接入网(Radio Access Network,RAN)或者RAN中的一个或者多个gNB。在本申请实施例中,所述的网络设备除特别说明之外,是指接入网设备20,如基站。
核心网设备30是部署在核心网中的设备,核心网设备30的功能主要是提供用户连接、对用户的管理以及对业务完成承载,作为承载网络提供到外部网络的接口。例如,5G NR系统中的核心网设备可以包括接入和移动性管理功能(Access and Mobility Management Function,AMF)实体、用户平面功能(User Plane Function,UPF)实体和会话管理功能(Session Management Function,SMF)实体等设备。
在一个示例中,接入网设备20与核心网设备30之间通过某种空口技术互相通信,例如5G NR系统中的NG接口。接入网设备20与终端设备10之间通过某种空口技术互相通信,例如Uu接口。
本申请实施例中的“5G NR系统”也可以称为5G系统或者NR系统,但本领域技术人员可以理解其含义。本申请实施例描述的技术方案可以适用于LTE系统,也可以适用于5G NR系统,也可以适用于5G NR系统后续的演进系统,还可以适用于诸如窄带物联网(Narrow Band Internet of Things,NB-IoT)系统等其他通信系统,本申请对此不作限定。
为了支持RAN slicing,NW(Network,网络)通过广播或专用信息指示支持的切片信息给UE。具体切片信息可以为:
Frequency priority mapping for each slice(slice->frequency(ies)->absolute priority of each of the frequency)(每个切片的频率优先级映射(切片->频率->每个频率的绝对优先级))。
但是在MPS/MCS的配置和slice(切片)的配置共存或冲突的情况下,此时需要接入网设备通知UE,在进行RACH(Random Access Channel,随机接入信道)过程中,MPS/MCS优先或切片优先。

当UE有业务发起时,NAS(Non Access Stratum,非接入层)需要将AS(Access Stratum,接入层)层建立RRC连接,NAS需要根据业务属性来设置RRC建立原因值,并将RRC建立原因值通知给AS层,但是当UE配置为MPS UE或MCS UE时,UE在发起业务时设置的RRC建立原因值都为high priority(高优先级),这样就与RACH过程中接入网设备所指示的MPS/MCS优先或切片优先不一致。
请参考图2,其示出了本申请一个实施例提供的RRC建立原因值的确定方法的流程图,该方法可以应用于图1所示的系统架构的终端设备中。该方法包括如下步骤。
步骤501:接收网络设备发送的指示信息。
步骤502:终端设备基于指示信息确定RRC建立原因值。
其中,指示信息用于指示目标业务与切片的优先关系。
示例性的,指示信息与RRC建立原因值具有对应关系。
指示信息与RRC建立原因值的对应关系包括如下对应关系中的至少一种:
在指示信息指示目标业务优于切片的情况下,RRC建立原因值为目标业务;或,在指示信息指示目标业务优于切片的情况下,RRC建立原因值为高优先级。
在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务的情况下,RRC建立原因值为切片优于目标业务;或,在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务的情况下,RRC建立原因值为主叫数据业务。
在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务,且本次RRC连接所请求的切片符合切片优于目标业务特征的情况下,RRC建立原因值为切片优于目标业务;或,在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务,且本次RRC连接所请求的切片符合切片优于目标业务特征的情况下,RRC建立原因值为主叫数据业务。
在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务,且本次RRC连接所请求的切片不符合切片优于目标业务特征的情况下,RRC建立原因值为目标业务;或,在指示信息指示切片优于目标业务,且本次RRC连接所请求的切片不符合切片优于目标业务特征的情况下,RRC建立原因值为高优先级。
示例性的,高优先级(high priority)还可以称为高优先级接入(high priority access)。
综上所述,本实施例提供的方法,由网络设备向终端设备发送指示信息,通过指示信息指示目标业务与切片的优先关系,终端设备基于该优先关系确定RRC建立原因值。在目标业务优先时,基于目标业务确定RRC建立原因值;在切片优先时,基于切片确定RRC建立原因值,从而在确定RRC建立原因值时充分考虑目标业务与切片,使网络设备可以基于切片来进行接入控制。

指示信息用于使终端设备确定无线资源控制RRC建立原因值;

目标业务包括MPS、MCS(Mission Critical Service,任务关键业务)中的至少一种。
即,指示信息用于指示目标业务优先(目标业务优先于切片),或,切片优先(切片优先于目标业务)。例如,当目标业务为MPS/MCS时,指示信息可以包括“MPS/MCS overrideslice(MPS/MCS优先于切片)”或“sliceoverride MPS/MCS(切片优先于MPS/MCS)”。

(一)核心网设备向终端设备发送RRC建立原因值设置指示。

步骤201:终端设备向核心网设备发送注册请求。
示例性的,网络设备包括核心网设备。
UE向AMF(Access and Mobility Management Function,接入和移动性管理实体)发送注册请求,注册请求中携带用户信息(终端设备的信息)及终端设备所请求的切片信息。
示例性的,步骤201的注册请求中所请求的切片信息,与,步骤221之后重新建立RRC连接时所请求的切片信息,可以相同也可以不同。
步骤211:核心网设备向终端设备发送注册接受消息,注册接受消息包括RRC建立原因值设置指示。
AMF向UE返回注册接受消息,消息中携带allowed(允许的)NSSAI(Network Slice Selection Assistance Information,网络切片选择辅助信息)及RRC建立原因值设置指示,RRC建立原因值设置指示中包括MPS/MCS override slice(MPS/MCS优先于切片,即,MPS/MCS优先)或者slice override MPS/MCS(切片优先于MPS/MCS,即,切片优先)。

以目标业务为MPS/MCS为例,步骤201和步骤211中,UE处于连接态(NAS连接),与核心网设备进行通信。在步骤220中,UE进入空闲态(NAS连接释放);待UE重新有业务需要发起、需要建立RRC连接时,UE根据步骤221中的RRC建立原因值设置指示及本次RRC连接所请求的切片信息来设置RRC建立原因值。当MPS/MCS override slice时,UE设置RRC建立原因值为MPS/MCS或者high priority;当slice override MPS/MCS时,并且所请求的切片符合“slice override MPS/MCS”特征时,UE设置RRC建立原因值是slice override MPS/MCS或者MO data(Mobile Originated data,主叫数据业务)。
步骤230:终端设备向接入网设备发起RRC建立请求,RRC建立请求包括RRC建立原因值。
综上所述,本实施例提供的方法,在终端设备向核心网设备发送注册请求时,核心网设备在向终端设备发送的注册接受消息中指示RRC建立过程中目标业务和切片的优先关系,终端设备基于该优先关系确定RRC建立原因值。在目标业务优先时,基于目标业务确定RRC建立原因值;在切片优先时,基于切片确定RRC建立原因值,从而在确定RRC建立原因值时充分考虑目标业务与切片,使网络设备可以基于切 片来进行接入控制。
(二)接入网设备向终端设备发送RRC建立原因值设置指示,由NAS设置RRC建立原因值。

步骤212:接入网设备向终端发送RRC建立原因值设置指示。
RRC建立原因值设置指示承载在系统信息块SIB或专有信令消息中。专有信令消息可以为RRC释放消息(RRC release消息)。
终端设备接收接入网设备发送的RRC建立原因值设置指示。
