Definitions
- the invention relates to an energy-saving heating and drying device which will be used for drying purposes in drying machines especially in the textile sector and laundry facilities and will be used for heating purposes in indoor spaces such as schools, factories, greenhouses, and stories of buildings, wherein it can operate with electricity and/or gas.
- Drying machines are used to dry clothes or other textile products both at homes and places like laundry facilities right after the washing procedure performed with a washing machine. Dryers and washer dryers are quite different from each other although they do the same work. Moreover, machines like dishwashers and dry- cleaning machines may also have a built-in dryer.
- a traditional dryer continuously draws in the dry and cold air in the environment, heats and sends it to the tumbler.
- the dryer typically vents the moist and heated air outside in order to make more space for the dry air.
- the traditional dryer models do not allow heat circulation, hence the reduced efficiency by their modus operandi.
- machine design is reliable, simple, and inexpensive.
- the heated air vented outside by the dryer may be used for residential heating by redirecting it inside the house thanks to vent boxes equipped with duct dampers.
- humidity caused by these devices may lead to mold or bacteria inside the house. Placing the dryer air outlet inside the house is also against local regulations.
- the invention relates to an energy-saving heating and drying device which will be used for drying purposes in drying machines especially in the textile sector and laundry facilities and will be used for heating purposes in indoor spaces such as schools, factories, greenhouses, and stories of buildings.
- An objective of the invention is to enable the use of a heating and drying device providing energy-saving up to four-five times compared to electric machines and up to three times compared to gas machines in drying procedures in the textile sector and the heating procedures in stories of buildings.
- Another objective of the invention is to enable the use of an energy-saving heating and drying device ensuring that the amount of energy consumed by a single device in multi-dryer facilities does not increase exponentially and that drying is performed in a plurality of devices with almost the same amount of energy.
- a further objective of the invention is to enable the use of an energy-saving heating and drying device not damaging the machine in any way during assembly and not impairing its originality.
- Another objective of the invention is to enable the use of an energy-saving heating and drying device having an easy, quick, and laborless assembly and disassembly.
- a further objective of the invention is to enable the use of an energy-saving heating and drying device reducing the drying time.
- Another objective of the invention is to enable the use of an energy-saving heating and drying device ensuring occupational safety by not starting the procedure in case of gas leakage by detecting gas leaks thanks to sensing ions.
- a further objective of the invention is to allow the use of a device providing a drying procedure extending the life of the textile product since it blows dry air and not yellowing the textile products over the course of the drying procedure since the textile product is not exposed to flames.
- Another objective of the invention is to enable the use of a long-lasting and energy-saving heating and drying device minimizing malfunctions and not requiring regular maintenance.

- identical reference numbers are used to indicate identical elements in the figures, where possible.
- the shapes are not drawn to scale and can be simplified for clarity. It is believed that the elements and features of an application can be usefully incorporated into other applications without further explanation.
- the energy-saving heating and drying device of the present invention consists of an external protection plate (1) and an upper protection plate (11 ) comprising the outer part of the device. Being preferably made of stainless steel or galvanized material, these plates provide that a stone wool (2) therein is protected and not seen while they comprise the outer body of the device.
- a heat outlet opening (13) that can be adjusted either according to the environment desired to be heated or the dryer to be used for drying purposes is located on the upper protection plate (11 ).
- the stone wool (2) is placed inside the elements of the external protection plate
- a panel (2) is a high-density material and prevents the heat from escaping by preserving the heat inside the device.
- a panel (4) containing the electrical and electronic components that comprise the ignition brain of the device is located on the device.
- a digital thermometer (3) is located on this panel (4). The digital thermometer (3) allows the heat inside the device to be adjusted and displays the degree of temperature with the indicator thereon.
- There is a gas valve (5) allowing gas supply to the device according to the existing temperature in order to fix the temperature as a response to the command from the panel (4).
- Steel square hollow section pipes (6) are located on the innermost and closed part of the device.
- the steel square hollow section pipes (6) preferably consist of drawn steel combustion pipes and carry the heat. These pipes, also called a firebox, ensure that the heat in the device is carried to the upper protection plate (11 ).
- the steel square hollow section pipes (6) contain holding and directing mids (9) therein. Made of preferably metal material, these holding and directing mids (9) provide the distribution and direction of the heat inside the steel square hollow section pipes (6).
- An automatic lighter (8) provides the ignition of the device.
- the automatic lighter (8) initiates the ignition by allowing the gas to automatically bum in the first instance with the command from the panel (4).
- the main burner (7) then passes the incoming heat to the device.
- a blower fan (12) is positioned next to the automatic lighter (8). Following the ignition, the blower fan (12) blows the heat upwards towards the steel square hollow section pipes (6).
- the device includes ignition cables and ion cables that are heat resistant and non-combustible, are preferably made of silicone, and provide the transmission of the commands from the panel (4) to the automatic lighter (8).
- a leg profile (10) is provided at the bottom of the device to position it on the floor.
- the leg profile (10) allows adjusting the size of the device according to its use.
- the heat outlet opening (13) is positioned on the upper protection plate (11 ), allowing to vent the heat in the device to the environment or the machine.
- the position of the heat outlet opening (13) on the upper protection plate (11) can be adjusted according to the environment, machine, or desired size, depending on its use.
- the working mechanism of the device is as follows given in order: the heat is adjusted from the digital thermometer (3) on the panel (4); the ignition system is initiated and the automatic lighter (8) starts working; then, the main burner (7) passes the heat to the steel square hollow section pipes (6) section, which is also called the firebox. Thanks to the holding and directing mids (9) inside the steel square hollow section pipes (6), the heat hits the relevant surface and moves to the section inside the upper protection plate (11 ) by being directed, and it is released to the environment or the machine from the heat outlet opening (13).
