Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de décomposition d'ammoniac et de production d'hydrogène utilisant un métal liquide, le système comprenant : un post-réacteur pour la combustion de combustible ou la réaction du combustible avec un agent oxydant pour générer un produit ; un premier dispositif de décomposition pour faire réagir le métal liquide contenu dans celui-ci avec de l'ammoniac fourni depuis l'extérieur, ce qui permet de décomposer l'ammoniac en hydrogène et en azote ; et un échangeur de chaleur pour récupérer la chaleur perdue contenue dans le produit transféré depuis le post-réacteur, ce qui permet d'échanger de la chaleur avec le métal liquide, le métal liquide stockant la chaleur perdue en tant que chaleur de réaction, transférant la chaleur de réaction à l'ammoniac lorsque l'ammoniac est décomposé, et servant de catalyseur pour décomposer l'ammoniac.
