Abstract
The invention relates to a computer-aided method for turf care, wherein a plurality of soil and environment parameters is measured by means of sensors (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) and wherein care measures are derived from the soil and environment parameters and are initiated. The invention addresses the problem of providing an approach by which economical, comprehensive and effective turf care can be achieved using technical means. For this purpose, according to the invention the soil and environment parameters measured at different times are stored in a database (6) in the form of time series, and the care measures are derived, by means of artificial intelligence, from the measured parameters and from the variation of the measured parameters over time. The invention also relates to a system for supporting turf care, comprising at least one computer (5), at least one database (6), and a plurality of sensors (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) for measuring soil and environment parameters, the sensors being wired to or wirelessly connected to the computer (5). Furthermore, the invention relates to an insert (21) for a golf hole, comprising a ball-receiving cup (22) which can be inserted into the golf hole and which is open at the top.
