Definitions
- the present specification refers to the application of texture to the functional tracks of a bearing and more specifically of a roller bearing.
- This texture reduces friction and improves the lubrication conditions between components since the texture acts as a lubricant reservoir and as a trap for particles.
- texture acts as a reservoir of lubricant in addition to reducing friction.
- document US10245806 is related to techniques to reduce friction between moving surfaces such as inside a combustion engine. Friction is reduced by adding texture to the surfaces that are in contact. Other benefits that arise from the application of texture on the surface and the reduction of friction in this case is lower fuel consumption and greater energy efficiency.
- the roller bearing consists of four main parts, they are inner ring, roller, cage and outer ring.
- the invention described below focuses on the functional track of its inner ring, on the functional track of its outer ring and on the surface of the rollers, understanding as a functional track the surface in direct contact with the surface of the rollers. when the bearing is in action.
- the object of the present invention is to apply a roller bearing texture to one, two, or all three of the aforementioned surfaces in order to reduce friction and improve lubrication between components.

Description
DESCRIPCION
