opening a door. Document EP 0 173 594 discloses another example of an instruction of this type.
Document US 2017/228817 discloses a self-service locker, comprising a compartment, a kayak stored in the compartment, an access door to said stored object, a presence sensor and a control unit, able to send a signal to the release means, to activate it in opening, according to an electromagnetic signal sent by the presence sensor. The presence sensor detects the kayak stored in the compartment and only activates the opening of the door when said object is detected by the presence sensor.
Document AU 2017 101 038 discloses such an instruction. Document WO 2020/039369 also discloses a locker of this type, in which a water sports board is stored in a mooring support, the locker being arranged in a carousel.
Document FR 2 560 020 also discloses such an instruction, in which an electric signal is sent to the control unit by a sensitive digital control, for example with a secret code, arranged on the compartment, to activate the release means in opening. . Document DE 20 2019 106910U1 discloses a self-service locker, in which an electromagnetic signal is sent to a control unit by a communication means external to the locker, for example a mobile phone, to activate a release means in opening. . These documents testify to a state of the art according to which the locker allows self-service access to the wakeboard, that is to say under the sole control of the user. However, such self-service places the user before his responsibility vis-à-vis
the use of an accessory, in particular a lifejacket.
One of the aims of the invention is to modify the type of instruction described previously, in the direction of better taking into account the safety of the user. The invention also aims to facilitate the use of the deposit according to a rental process, in particular by means of a software application adapted to mobile telephones or computers, including the reservation, the payment of rental rights and the release
of a wakeboard.
To this end, the subject of the invention is a self-service locker, more particularly comprising a compartment, a nautical sport or leisure object stored in the compartment, a means of releasing said object with respect to the compartment, a presence and a control unit, capable of sending a signal to the release means, to activate it in opening, as a function of a signal sent by the presence sensor, characterized in that the presence sensor is capable of detecting a lifejacket also disposed in the compartment, to activate the release means only when the lifejacket is out of electromagnetic range of the presence sensor.
The presence sensor sends an electromagnetic signal to the control unit based on an interaction it detects with the lifejacket. It thus allows the control unit to activate the release means only when the lifejacket is no longer detected by the presence sensor, in other words, only when the lifejacket is out of the electromagnetic range of the presence sensor. As a result, the removal of the nautical sport or leisure object is conditioned by that of the lifejacket, which guarantees good safety practice, which the user is required to respect.
The self-service locker according to the invention is made according to several embodiments.
According to an advantageous mode in terms of ergonomics, the compartment is divided into a first compartment, in which the release means is arranged and in which the nautical sport or leisure object is stored and into a second compartment, in which the presence sensor is arranged and in which the lifejacket is stored, the second compartment being isolated by a door from the first compartment, controlled by the release means. This arrangement makes it possible in particular to arrange the two compartments on the same floor, the door controlled by the release means, forming a separation between them.
In another advantageous mode, the compartment is constituted by a cell formed in a carousel, movable vis-à-vis a fixed enclosure, which is provided with a first door, controlled by the release means and giving access to the nautical object for sport or leisure stored in the cell and a second door, giving access to the lifejacket, also stored in the cell. This arrangement makes it possible to distribute various nautical objects, using only a single release means, controlling the opening of a single door
access to the different cells of the carousel. In addition, it allows the distribution of different life jackets, also using a single access door to the cell.
According to another advantageous mode, the release means comprises an electromechanical padlock, activatable in opening by the signal sent by the control unit and fixed to a link, attached to the compartment. The presence sensor is placed where the lifejacket is stored, namely in the same compartment as that of the nautical object or in a second compartment. This arrangement makes it possible to store different nautical objects in a single first compartment, which can remain open for easy access, while different life jackets are stored in the same compartment or in the second compartment.
In the case where the nautical sport or leisure object comprises an inflatable flexible hull and is stored in the compartment in the inflated state,
the control unit is able to communicate with a pressure sensor, mounted in the nautical object and preferably, in an inflation valve and sending an electromagnetic signal, via a receiver.
The pressure sensor sends to the control unit an electromagnetic signal which represents a value at time T of the inflation pressure of the nautical sport or leisure object. It thus allows the control unit to confirm the sending of the signal to the release means, when the inflation pressure is sufficient to guarantee the safety of
the user. Otherwise, the control unit is capable of redirecting the sending of the signal to a second means of releasing a second nautical object, having sufficient inflation pressure. Failing this, the sending of the signal to the release means is cancelled.

It should be noted that in the description which follows, the same element bears the same reference in one or the other of the figures.
A self-service locker comprises, according to the various embodiments illustrated by FIGS. 1, 5, 6 or 7, a compartment 12, a water sports board 3 stored in the compartment 12, a means for releasing the water sports board 3 relative to the compartment 12, a presence sensor 7 and a control 11, able to send a signal to the release means, to activate it in opening, according to a signal sent by the presence sensor 7.
According to the invention, the presence sensor 7 is capable of detecting a lifejacket 9 also stored in the compartment 12 to activate the release means 5 only when the lifejacket 9 is out of electromagnetic range of the sensor. presence 7.
According to a first embodiment, the self-service locker comprises, in FIG. 1, a structure 13, divided by supports 15 into compartments 12. The structure 13 can comprise storage spaces 17 intended for example for paddles 19.
Fig. 2 and 3, each compartment 12 is divided into a first compartment 1, in which a water sports board 3 is stored, and a second compartment 21, in which a lifejacket 9 is stored. The second compartment 21 is isolated from the first compartment 1 by a door 23, mounted relative to the structure 13 to open or close it. This door 23 is controlled by the release means, which comprises an electromechanical lock 25, described later. The presence sensor 7 is arranged in the second compartment 21, which can be opened or closed by a second door 27, mounted relative to the structure 13.
The control unit 11 can be arranged in a special compartment of the structure 13. It is in communication, wired or not, with the presence sensor 7 of each second compartment 21 and the electromechanical lock 25 of each first compartment 1 for the sending and receiving control signals.
The presence sensor 7 sends a signal to the control unit 11, depending on an interaction that it detects with the lifejacket 9 stored in the second compartment 21. The lifejacket 9 comprises for example a transmitter 10 RFID, which transmits an electromagnetic signal to an RFID receiver of the presence sensor 7. The transmitted electromagnetic signal is a function of the distance between the RFID transmitter 10 and the RFID receiver. Thus, the control unit 11 records a variation of the electromagnetic signal, corresponding to a withdrawal of the lifejacket 9 from the second compartment 21. According to a predefined criterion relating to the recorded variation, the control unit 11 sends a signal to activate the electromechanical lock 25 in opening and allow the opening of the door 23 of the first compartment 1.
Fig. 4, the electromechanical lock 25 comprises a finger 29 which engages in a notch 31 of the structure 13. The finger 29 is guided in translation integrally with the door 23 of the first compartment 1 and pressed by a spring 33 in the notch 31 , in the closed state. A solenoid 35 causes the finger 29 to be withdrawn from the notch 31, against the return force of the spring 33, when the control unit 11 sends a signal to the electromechanical lock 25, to activate it in opening.
This first embodiment is particularly advantageous from an ergonomic point of view, in that the first compartment 1 and the second compartment 21 can extend over the same floor of the structure 13, defined by the supports 15. In addition, the first compartment 1 being closed by the door 23 which, controlled by the control unit 11, serves as a separation with the second compartment 21, provision is made to store the water sports board 3 there by a simple deposit, without any means of attachment .
A second embodiment, illustrated by FIG. 5, differs from the previous mode in that each compartment 12 is used to store both a sports or leisure waterboard 3 and a lifejacket 9. A bar 24 is rotatably mounted relative to the structure 13, in front an entrance to each compartment 12, closed by a door 23. The bar 24 comprises an electromechanical motor 26 to be controlled in rotation by the control unit 11, between two positions, one of which blocks the exit of the wakeboard from sport or leisure 3 of compartment 12 and the other authorizes the exit. The presence sensor 7 is arranged at the entrance to the second compartment 12, or even on the door 23. The control unit 11 is in communication, wired or not, with the presence sensor 7 and the electric motor 26 of each compartment 12 for sending and receiving control signals.
This second embodiment provides a simplification compared to the previous mode, while allowing the nautical boards 3 to be stored by a simple deposit.
According to a third embodiment, the compartment 12 consists of Fig. 6, by a cell 37 formed in a carousel 39. The latter is movable around an axis of rotation 41 vis-à-vis a fixed enclosure 43 and is controlled by means of a motor (not shown) controlled by the control unit 11. The carousel 39 comprises several cells 37, separated by radial walls 47, to form as many compartments 12 intended to store as many water sports boards 3. A life jacket 9 is also stored in each cell 37.
The fixed enclosure 43 is provided with a first door 49, controlled by the electromechanical lock 25 and giving access to the water sports board 3 and with a second door 51, giving access to the lifejacket 9. A presence sensor 7 can be arranged in each cell 37. The control unit 11 is in communication, wired or otherwise, with the presence sensor 7 and the electromechanical lock 25 of each cell 12 for sending and receiving control signals. Preferably, a single presence sensor 7 is arranged on the fixed enclosure 43 or on the second door 51. In this case, the control unit 11 drives the carousel 39 in rotation, to bring the second door 51 into coincidence with a cell for which the presence sensor 7 sends an electromagnetic signal, representing the detection of a lifejacket 9.
It should be noted that according to this third embodiment, the cell 37 can be divided into a first compartment 1, in which the nautical sport or leisure object 3 is stored and into a second compartment 21, in which the lifejacket 9 is stored.
According to a fourth embodiment, the self-service locker comprises, FIG. 7, a structure 13 in which the compartment 12 is divided into a first compartment 1 in which several nautical objects are stored and a second compartment 21, in which several lifejackets 9 are stored. Supports 15 are carried by the structure 13 to form shelves in the first compartment 1, each intended for the storage of a water sports board 3. Insofar as the first compartment 1 has no door, the means of release 5 of the water sports boards comprises an electromechanical padlock 55, fixed to a resistant link 57, for example a cable, connecting a water sports board 3 to each shelf of the structure 13.
The second compartment 21 is closed by a door 59, mounted relative to the structure 13. The presence sensor 7 is placed in the second compartment 21 and fixed to the structure 13 or to the door 59.
The control unit 11 is in communication, wired or not, with the presence sensor 7 of the second compartment 21 and the electromechanical padlock 55 of each shelf of the structure 13, for sending and receiving control signals.
Fig. 8, the electromechanical padlock 55 comprises a body 61 and a keeper 63 guided in translation and pressed by a spring 33 in a groove 67 of a finger 69, fixed to the water sports board 3. A solenoid 35 causes a withdrawal of the striker 63 out of the groove 67, against the return force of the spring 33 and releases the body 61 relative to the finger 69, when the control unit 11 sends a signal to the electromechanical padlock 55, to activate it in opening.
This fourth embodiment is particularly advantageous from an ergonomic point of view, in that the first compartment 1 can remain open to facilitate access to the water sports boards 3 stored on the shelves of the structure 13. In addition, a single second compartment 21 may suffice for the storage of different lifejackets 9 associated with the different water sports boards 3. In addition, the control unit 11 can identify each lifejacket 9 stored in the second compartment 21, thanks to the own electromagnetic signal emitted by the RFID transmitter 10 with which it is provided, and associate it with one of the electromechanical padlocks 55. Thus, the use of the life jackets, the release means and the water sports boards themselves, can be individually managed and better controlled.
The operation of the self-service locker, in the second, third and fourth embodiments, is analogous to that of the first mode. The presence sensor 7 sends a signal to the control unit 11, depending on an interaction that it detects with one of the life jackets 9, stored in the compartment 12, the cell 37 or the second compartment 21. The control unit 11 records a variation of the electromagnetic signal transmitted by the lifejacket 9, corresponding to its withdrawal from said compartment 12, 21 or from said cell. According to a predefined criterion relating to the recorded variation, the control unit 11 sends a signal to activate the electric motor 26, the electromechanical lock 25 or the electromechanical padlock 55 in opening and allow the release of the water sports board 3 stored in compartment 12, cell 37 or first compartment 1.
The water sports board 3 can be a board with a rigid hull or a flexible and inflatable hull. In the latter case, the invention advantageously provides that the control unit 11 is able to communicate with a pressure sensor 71, intended to be mounted on the water sports board 3.
Fig. 9, the pressure sensor 71, known per se, is mounted on a flap inflation valve 73. It is placed in a receptacle 75 where the inflation valve is fixed in a sealed manner, by a shoulder 77 cooperating with a nut 79 , to the technical fabric 70 in which the inflatable water sports board is made. It comprises an electromechanical component detecting the inflation pressure and an electronic circuit with which the electromechanical component is associated, comprising an RFID or Bluetooth type transmitter. In the latter case, the electronic circuit is powered by a battery.
The pressure sensor 71 is in communication with the control unit 11 via a receiver 81 and sends to the control unit 11, an electromagnetic signal which represents a value at the instant T, of the pressure inflation. It thus allows the control unit 11 to confirm the sending of the signal to the release means, when the inflation pressure is sufficient to guarantee the safety of
the user. Otherwise, the control unit is able to redirect the sending of the signal to a second means of releasing a second water sports board, having sufficient inflation pressure. Failing this, the sending of the signal to the release means is cancelled.
The receiver 81 is fixed to the crosspieces 15 of the structure 13 or to the fixed enclosure 43 of the carousel 39. In the latter case, the control unit 11 drives the carousel 39 in rotation, to bring the doors 49, 51 into coincidence. of the compartment 12, if necessary divided into a first compartment 1 and a second compartment 21, with a cell 37 of the carousel 39, for which both the presence sensor 7 sends a signal, representing the detection of a rescue 9 and the pressure sensor 71, an electromagnetic signal, representing an acceptable inflation pressure.
When the user returns the rented objects, the presence sensor 7 sends a signal to the control unit 11, depending on
the interaction of its detector with the transmitter 10 of the lifejacket 9. This signal is processed by the control unit 11 to calculate the rental time. The control unit 11 is also programmed to reactivate the lock 25, the bar 26 or the electromechanical padlock 55 when opening and allow the user to store the water sports board 3, in the first compartment 1 of the deposit in self-service. A delay allows the control unit 11 to close the lock 25 or the electromechanical padlock 55 or to pivot the bar 26 in closing. When provided, the pressure sensor 71 the pressure sensor 71 sends an electromagnetic signal to the control unit 11, which represents the value of the inflation pressure. This electromagnetic signal is processed by the control unit 11 to declare the inflatable water sports board under maintenance, if the inflation pressure value is no longer acceptable.
It should be noted that the energy source of the pressure sensor cannot be constituted by solar energy, it being observed that the nautical object is permanently stored in a compartment of the self-service locker, except for times when it is removed and used. These moments would in fact be insufficient to guarantee the correct operation of a solar-powered pressure sensor, in particular after a more or less long period of storage in the compartment.
The invention, according to one or other of the embodiments described above, lends itself particularly well to computer implementation, by means of a software application suitable for mobile telephones or computers. Thus, the control unit 11 can be,
in a manner known per se, controlled by the software application for the reservation, the payment of a rental right for a defined period and the release of a water sports board 3, according to the electromagnetic signal emitted by the presence sensor 7 interacting with the lifejacket 9.
In the case of water sports boards 3 with a flexible shell and inflatable, having a pressure sensor 71, the software application controls the control unit 11 to confirm the sending of the signal to the release means, lock 25 , bar 26 or padlock 55, when the inflation pressure is sufficient to guarantee the safety of the user, redirecting the sending of the signal to a second release means of a second water sports board 3, having an inflation pressure sufficient, or failing that, cancel the sending of the signal to the release means.
In addition, the control unit 11 can memorize the pressure values measured by the pressure sensor 71 before and after use. It can still memorize pressure variations during
the time interval the inflatable water sports boards are stored in compartment 12, 1 or 21.
These data thus constitute a history for each of the inflatable water sports boards, making it possible to plan a re-inflation or a revision, depending on the number of outings, the durations of use of the inflatable water sports board and other data, in particular meteorological.
Although the embodiments have been described in relation to a water sports board, the invention applies identically to any nautical object for sport or leisure, such as canoes, kayaks or even small boats.
