Description

CONNECTION DEVICE THAT SECURES FURNITURE PANELS PRODUCED ON CNC ROUTER MACHINES PERPENDICULAR TO EACH OTHER
Technical Field:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for mounting panels of panel furniture (kitchen, bathroom, rail cabinet, office furniture) manufactured by vertical machining only on CNC routers, products that do not require disassembly after assembly.
State of the Art:
Vertical machining is a manufacturing method that involves the fact that CNC routers, also known as a reclining table in the market, can only process the upper surface of panels. Due to the fact that in the vertical processing method, no additional processing machine is required, production is accelerated, and manpower is saved, this method is becoming more and more preferred by panel furniture manufacturers every day. Panels processed in the vertical processing method are the parts that are cut from the plates of materials such as MDF, fiberboard, fiberboard, water contrast, OSB and form the main components of various types of furniture.
Apparatuses that support the production of vertical machining and ensure that the resulting panels are connected to each other by 90 degrees (for example: Cabineo, Qfiks, Rafiks, etc.) it is already available. These devices are called connectors on the market, and their function is to fix the two panels by connecting them perpendicular to each other. The cost is very high, since the mounting devices designed according to the vertical processing production technique are designed to demountably connect two furniture panels with moving mechanisms located on them. Although most of the panel furniture produced by vertical processing technique does not need a detachable assembly, it has to use detachable devices suitable for vertical processing technique in the market. For example: there is no need for a detachable connection in drawer bodies, bathroom cabinets, small modules. There is no cost-effective assembly product on the market in a design that can be used in places that do not require disassembly, which performs a fixed installation in accordance with the vertical processing technique.
In the utility model application DE202019102018 ; a new comer connecting device which enables the assembly of furniture items to be mounted perpendicularly to each other without mounting holes on the projections and which enables easy mounting for the users, characterized in that it comprises the following:; two complete cylindrical structures in the assembled state; an edge projection located in the upper part of the cylindrical structures, which edge projection projects outwards from the edges and whose end is oval and whose other end is flat; a screw hole located in the middle of the cylindrical structure so as to be just below the flat edge of the rim projection, the screw hole helping the screw to reach the screw housing located on the other piece of furniture to be mounted; a mounting hole positioned to remain in the middle of the rim projection which allows the positioning of the screw within the comer connecting device and which has a width through which the structure of the screw can pass; a housing of the hexagon socket screw located in the middle of the edge of the mounting hole farthest from the screw hole, so that the round head hexagon screw can be easily moved when tightening the screw.
The above-mentioned invention is an example of a detachable furniture fastening apparatus. The invention in question is an expensive product due to its design and the possibilities offered by this design. The use of this invention and similar devices in furniture items that do not need to be disassembled after assembly in the current technique imposes a material burden on the customer. Therefore, an innovation is needed that performs the function of connecting furniture panels perpendicular to each other in a similar way, but with a much simpler design, cheaper and easier to use.
In the patent application DE10354114A1, A connector for furniture assembly, e.g. for assembling plinths, is secured to one component via mounting flange. The fitting is via a separate threaded fastener or the fastener can be part of the flange. The other component is fitted via a push fit action onto a shaped shaft. A plastic moulded liner fitted into the hole in the second component improves the push fit action and allows the system to be dismantled and reused. The connector is fitted in such a way as to hold the components under tension.
In the patent application US2002102133A1, a bracket and method for connecting two component members, where the bracket is concealed from the outside of a joint formed by the two component members. The bracket includes a first flange having a hole for receiving a securing member and at least one second flange, including at least one protrusion for engaging a cavity in a first member to be secured. This design may use a single screw or bolt, and therefore saves assembly time and reduces product cost.
Description of the Invention:
The main purpose of our invention is to present a new product with the same functionality, simple and easy to use, which saves time on assembly by providing great convenience in centering, in places where there is no need to use expensive devices used as demountable in the market, with the same function. Here, the expression centering means that the two panels that will be fixed perpendicular to each other are positioned correctly both angularly and linearly.
Channels are opened on the CNC router machine on the panels that are pressing and pressed before the installation of our product on the panels. The product subject to the invention is placed in these channels and provides the function of fixing the pressing and pressed panel perpendicular to each other. The equivalent products on the market generally perform the fixing function as follows; a connector is inserted into the pressed panel by drilling a hole so that the connectors enter using a vertical machining technique, and a dowel is inserted from the surface of the pressed panels only by opening the mounting hole. The installation is completed by sending the bolt to the hole opened on the panel surface pressed the connector, but this creates a lack of grip between the apparatus and the panels. This situation is overcome with our product, which is the subject of the invention. As our product is placed in the slots opened on the pressing and pressed panels, its grip ability increases, but our product is hidden inside the panel mounting edge, reducing visibility and protecting it from harmful effects from the environment. By making changes in the sectional views of the apparatus subject to the invention, it is also possible to use it according to the area to be applied. For example, in furniture panels that are much heavier and larger in size or whose load distribution is not symmetrical, the aspect ratio of the apparatus is revised to increase the safety coefficient and provide the possibility of use over long periods of time.
Our invention provides an alternative solution to detachable connectors that are used unnecessarily in places that do not require disassembly, in accordance with the vertical processing technique experienced by the furniture industry, which is gaining rapid momentum with CNC router machines. Since our product is designed according to vertical processing technique, we attach importance to centering quality and it is an indispensable product for furniture makers by providing fast and economical furniture installation.
