Abstract

The invention relates to a pack (1) for holding cigarettes or tobacco sticks, said pack comprising a first telescopic element (20) and a second telescopic element (40) which is displaceably mounted in the first telescopic element (20), the first telescopic element or the second telescopic element (40) having an opening (42) in a lateral surface, which opening is positioned in such a way that it is closed in a first relative position of the first telescope element (20) and of the second telescopic element (40) and opened in a second relative position of the first telescopic element (20) and of the second telescopic element (40) so that a first holding chamber (8) for cigarette ends or used tobacco sticks is accessible, the first telescopic element (20) and/or the second telescopic element (40) at least partially enclosing a second holding chamber (9) for cigarettes or tobacco sticks which is separated from the first holding chamber (8). The first holding chamber (8) of the pack (1) is thus able to hold a certain number of cigarette ends, but its actually occupied volume is minimised in relation to the actually held cigarette ends, which is advantageous both from an aesthetic point of view and in relation to handling.

Description

Pack for accommodating cigarettes or tobacco sticks with an integrated container for accommodating cigarette butts or used tobacco sticks

TECHNICAL FIELD The invention relates to a pack for holding cigarettes or tobacco sticks with an integrated container for holding cigarette butts or used tobacco sticks. The invention further relates to a kit with such a package and a sales package.

PRIOR ART In the absence of available ashtrays, cigarette butts are often simply thrown away in public spaces. This leads to a significant pollution problem: it is estimated that over 4000 billion butts are thrown away every year. It takes about 15 years for a cigarette butt to completely decompose in nature. A single butt also contaminates about 40 liters of water. In order to increase the availability of ashtrays, e.g. Portable ashtrays known, for example, have a belt clip and can be worn on the waistband or on a belt. However, such products are not widely accepted and therefore make little contribution to solving the pollution problem mentioned.

There are also known containers for holding cigarette butts, which can also hold a pack of cigarettes at the same time or which can be attached to such a pack. Both usually lead to rather clumsy products, which in turn lack acceptance among potential users. 2

Finally, cigarette packs with an integrated container for accommodating cigarette butts are known. Packings of this type are described, for example, in US Pat. No. 5,799,781 (WE Arthur) and US 2002/0020640 A1 (G. Garcia). However, the corresponding solutions are complicated in structure and operation.

Presentation of the invention

The object of the invention is therefore to create a pack for accommodating cigarettes or tobacco sticks, which belongs to the aforementioned technical field, with an integrated container for accommodating cigarette butts or used tobacco sticks, which is simple in structure and operation.

The solution to the problem is defined by the features of claim 1. According to the invention, the pack comprises a first telescopic element and a second telescopic element, which is slidably mounted in the first telescopic element, with the first telescopic element or the second telescopic element having an opening in a lateral surface that is arranged in such a way that it is in a first relative position of the first Telescopic element and the second telescopic element is closed and opened in a second relative position of the first telescopic element and the second telescopic element, so that a first receiving space for cigarette butts or used tobacco sticks is accessible. The first telescopic element and/or the second telescopic element at least partially enclose a second receiving space for cigarettes or tobacco sticks, which is separated from the first receiving space.

The first accommodation space of the pack according to the invention is therefore suitable for accommodating conventional cigarette butts and/or used tobacco sticks (or tobacco sticks) for use with electric cigarettes (e-cigarettes) with corresponding heating systems.

Integrating a container for storing cigarette butts or used tobacco sticks in the pack ensures that the container is always available and the user always has an opportunity to keep cigarette butts or tobacco sticks until they can dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner. 3

The telescopic elements have a certain dimensional stability, so that they retain their predetermined shape—except when certain predetermined forces are applied. The telescopic elements are preferably shaped and dimensioned in such a way that the relative displacement movement in both directions is made possible without additional bearing elements, in that the outer surface of the telescopic elements slides on one another. If necessary, the sliding movement can be supported by suitable coatings.

The relative movement of the two telescopic elements thus enables the total receiving space (and thus the external volume) of the pack to be enlarged as required by means of a linear extension. This results in easy operation. Two of the three dimensions of the container (e.g. the width and length of a cuboid container) remain unchanged even when the telescopic elements are displaced relative to each other. In addition, the solution with two telescopic elements is structurally simple, which enables cost-effective assembly.

The packing according to the invention preferably has exactly one telescopic stage, i. H. there is exactly one first telescopic element and one second telescopic element that can be displaced relative to one another. This results in the simplest possible situation. Alternative embodiments with two or more telescopic stages are possible. As a result--with increased complexity--in particular the possible pull-out path and thus the possible volume of the first receiving space can be increased.

The opening can advantageously be closed in such a way that an odor barrier is formed. In this way, an odor nuisance due to the cigarette butts received in the first receiving space is prevented. In addition, the opening is preferably closed in such a way that air is sealed off from the outside, so that stubs or sticks that are still smoldering are reliably suffocated. In preferred embodiments, the closure of the opening can be designed in such a way that it is essentially airtight in the closed state.

The telescopic elements can have valves in order to facilitate the relative movement. A (one-way) valve, which allows air to escape from the first receiving space into the outside space, can support the pushing-in or pushing-out movement. Of course, such a valve would have to be equipped with an appropriate filter in order to 4

to avoid odor nuisance. It is also conceivable to use a valve that is open during insertion or sliding and is automatically closed after this process is completed.

Similarly, the increase in the volume of the first receiving space can be promoted by a (one-way) valve that allows air to enter from the outside space. Here, too, it makes sense if the valve is closed in the normal state in order to usually prevent oxygen from entering.

Depending on how the opening and the telescopic elements are designed, no valves are required: if the corresponding closure is designed, for example, in such a way that the airtight closure only takes place after it has been completely pushed in or pushed open, and the opening is already at the beginning of the extraction process, no valves are required valves necessary.

Advantageously, the second telescopic element is substantially completely accommodated in the first telescopic element in the first relative position. As a result, in the first relative position z. B. also corresponds to the delivery condition of the pack, an advantageous appearance and a compact form factor is achieved. In particular, in the first relative position, the second telescopic element is invisible from the outside, at least along the casing, ie completely covered by the first telescopic element. In this state, the pack according to the invention is therefore identical in shape to common packs, which i.a. has the advantage that the handling, e.g. B. by machines or vending machines, is identical and multiple packs can be packed in the same way as conventional packs. The pack according to the invention preferably also has a (practically) identical external view.

With a mechanism according to the invention with two telescopic elements, the volume of the first receiving space can be changed greatly. In the first relative position, for example, it is practically zero, while in a second relative position, which is pulled out to the maximum, several cigarette butts can be accommodated in the first accommodation space. After filling with a (further) cigarette butt or tobacco stick, the telescopic elements are pushed back in until the opening is securely closed. Because of 5 of the recorded cigarette butt or cigarette butts, however, it will no longer be possible to push them in completely, ie the second telescopic element will protrude slightly beyond the first telescopic element.

In a preferred embodiment the volume of the first accommodation space in a first (empty) configuration is less than 5 cm ³ and the volume in the second, closed but filled configuration is at least 15 cm ³ , preferably at least 25 cm ³ . In this way, preferably several cigarette butts (or tobacco sticks) can be accommodated in the container at the same time until it can be emptied at a suitable location. In the first configuration, a small volume of the pack is thus made possible, in particular a volume which corresponds to the volume of a standard pack, while in the second configuration there is sufficient space for accommodating a certain number of cigarette butts or tobacco sticks while at the same time providing a secure closure.

The pack according to the invention can thus accommodate a certain number of cigarette butts or tobacco sticks, but the volume actually occupied is always as small as possible, which is advantageous both from an aesthetic point of view and with regard to handling.

The opening is advantageously closed in the first relative position by a lateral surface of the other telescopic element which is parallel to the corresponding lateral surface and touches it over a large area. As a result, an odor barrier can be reliably formed and the inflow of oxygen is largely prevented. The structure is extremely easy to set up because additional sealing elements are not required. In certain embodiments, the sealing of the closed opening can nevertheless be supported by sealing lips, which are arranged in particular on the interacting telescopic elements.

Operation is also extremely simple, because the opening is automatically sealed when the telescopic elements are transferred from the second relative position to the first relative position. This does not require that the telescopic elements cover the entire transition from the maximum open to the maximum 6 run through the inserted position, a section of this transition may be sufficient. Analogously, the opening is automatically opened when the telescopic elements are transferred in one direction from the first relative position to the second relative position, it also being possible here to pass through only a section. The user therefore does not have to worry about opening and closing the opening separately. In addition, it is ensured that the opening is always closed in the normal state.

In a preferred embodiment, the opening is formed in the second telescopic element, the second telescopic element being box-like with a closed bottom and the first telescopic element being box-like with an open bottom. "Box-like" here means that the elements are formed with relatively thin walls, in particular from a folded sheet of material, e.g. B. made of paper or cardboard, in particular materials are used that are customary for the manufacture of cigarette packs. This enables cost-effective production, even for disposable packaging. The formation of the opening in the second telescopic element prevents material from getting caught between the telescopic elements and is aesthetically advantageous because the opening is not visible when closed.

In a preferred embodiment, the elements are made of a more durable material, e.g. B. a metal, plastic or hard cardboard. Novel dimensionally stable but biodegradable materials such as bioplastics, cellulose composite materials, etc. can also be used to advantage. In this case, the pack according to the invention can be used many times without further ado. The elements can be fully or partially magnetized or made of a ferromagnetic material, so that the box can easily be used with magnetic accessories.

If a multiple-use pack is used, it is advantageous if the cigarettes or tobacco sticks can be purchased loose or in a material-saving sales pack and used in the pack according to the invention. 7

Accordingly, an advantageous kit includes, in addition to the pack according to the invention, a sales pack (single-use pack) with cigarettes or tobacco sticks. In this case, the sales packaging consists in particular partially of a flexible film material. The sales packaging is advantageously designed in such a way that it can be inserted into the second receiving space of the pack according to the invention, in particular a multiple-use pack, with the cigarettes or tobacco sticks received therein and/or that cigarettes or tobacco sticks received therein from the sales packaging can be inserted into the second receiving space in a suitable manner are. "Can be inserted appropriately" means that the cigarettes or tobacco sticks are already included in the sales packaging in an arrangement that corresponds to the arrangement in the second receiving space, e.g. B. in parallel in a corresponding number of rows. They can then be inserted into the receiving space in a simple manner, parallel to their longitudinal axis.

The material-saving sales packaging can be made, for example, from a suitable foil material, e.g. B. cellulose hydrate (cellophane).

In a preferred embodiment, a dividing line is formed on the sales packaging so that after insertion into the second receiving space, a first part of the sales packaging can be separated from a second part of the sales packaging and/or the sales packaging can be opened in such a way that the cigarettes or Tobacco sticks in the second receiving space can be removed from the pack.

So the sales packaging z. B. perforations such that they can be easily torn open to fill the cigarettes or tobacco sticks in the inventive pack. The tearing can preferably take place when the sales packaging with its contents has already been inserted into the pack according to the invention in such a way that the contents remain in the latter while the sales packaging can be pulled back completely or partially towards the open end. The sales packaging can also be composed of several elements, in which case one element can be removed from another for filling, e.g. B. if the dividing line is formed by a peelable seal. 8th

If part of the sales packaging remains in the pack according to the invention until the next filling, the sales packaging and/or a wall of the receiving space for the cigarettes or tobacco sticks can have a holding surface, e.g. B. an adhesive surface to hold the part temporarily in the package.

The inventive kit of sales packaging (single packaging) and receiving pack (reusable) allows compared to today's cardboard packaging for cigarettes or tobacco sticks, a significant reduction in material and energy consumption during production and provision and thus also the waste to be disposed of.

In a preferred distribution method for cigarettes or tobacco sticks, the following steps therefore take place: a) providing a pack according to the invention; b) providing sales packaging with cigarettes or tobacco sticks; c) Filling the cigarettes or tobacco sticks into the pack according to the invention, with the sales pack being opened.

Steps b) and c) are carried out several times in the sense of a cycle process.

The pack according to the invention or the kit according to the invention are ideally suited for use in such a method.

Most preferably, the opening is formed in a major surface of the second telescopic member, i. H. in a lateral surface with maximum extension. Compared to the arrangement on a smaller lateral surface, this results in more convenient operation and improved sealing - the latter because, for a given size of the opening, there is a larger surrounding contact surface between the lateral surface with the opening and a lateral surface of the other telescopic element that interacts with it.

Recording space can be opened and closed again. The cover can be a hinged cover, which is known per se and is arranged on the first telescopic element via a hinge. Such lids can be easily realized in particular in the case of packaging made of a cardboard material. In particular when using other materials and in particular in the case of multiple-use packs, however, other designs can also be used, e.g. B. sliding cover, which can be moved relative to the first telescopic element for opening or closing, in particular in the cover plane.

The extract formed by the second telescopic element is therefore arranged on an underside of the pack, opposite the lid. The cross section of the pack in a plane perpendicular to the direction of extraction is essentially constant. When pushed in, the result is an appearance that corresponds entirely or largely to that of a conventional cigarette pack, and operation by pulling out and pushing in the inner, second telescopic element is intuitive and simple.

Advantageously, an inner part is additionally arranged in a non-displaceable manner on the first telescopic element, the second telescopic element being displaceable between the first telescopic element and the inner part and the inner part forming the second receiving space separated from the first receiving space. For this purpose, the inner part has, in addition to the jacket, in particular a base, through which the separation results reliably and in a simple manner. The three-part design of the pack can be easily manufactured and assembled with the help of simple cuts and common folding and gluing processes. Because the three parts (first telescopic part as an outer part, second telescopic part as a pull-out part and inner part) stabilize each other, the material thickness can be substantially reduced compared to conventional, one-piece cigarette packs. In particular, the material thickness of the three parts of the pack according to the invention is in each case at most 60%, preferably at most 40%, of the material thickness of a conventional cigarette pack. It is also possible to produce the inner part in particular with a greatly reduced material thickness: while a box-like design with a certain dimensional stability is preferred, a bag-like variant is also possible for the inner part. 10

The inner part is preferably fastened to the first telescopic element via a lug that overlaps the second telescopic element in the first relative position. In this way, the inner part can be designed with a large storage volume without impeding or restricting the pull-out and pull-in process. The tab can be attached to the base part of the first telescopic element or to a cover arranged on the first telescopic element, in particular to a hinged cover.

In a preferred embodiment, the second telescopic element is arranged in a removable and in particular exchangeable manner between the first telescopic element and the inner part. On the one hand, this makes it possible to easily empty the cigarette butts already accommodated in the second telescopic element or to dispose of these cigarette butts together with the second telescopic element. This makes sense when the second telescopic element is no longer required or when it is to be replaced. A second telescopic element, which essentially corresponds to the version originally recorded, can serve as a replacement. Alternatively, it is replaced by a differently designed second telescopic element, in particular by a reusable, z. B. made of plastic or metal. The user can decide from the outset to use their own reusable element instead of the original second telescopic element and thus to remove the former and replace it with the latter before cigarette butts have even been inserted.

The removal of the second telescopic element can be facilitated by a suitable geometry and/or material selection of the second telescopic element and the interacting elements of the first telescopic element and/or the inner part. In particular, in the area of the stops interacting with one another, perforations or adhesive connections that can be detached with increased exertion of force can be provided. Tabs bent inwards or outwards, which form stops, can also be dimensioned in such a way that they are bent back in the event of the increased expenditure of force mentioned and thus lose their stop function.

Further embodiments have mutually interacting magnets and/or ferromagnetic elements which are shaped and arranged on the elements in such a way that increased force is required to separate them. are also possible 1 1

Spring elements that interact with latches on the counterpart in the manner of a clip connection.

The re-insertion of the second telescopic element or the insertion of a replacement element can be facilitated if the interacting stops have a conical geometry, so that the stop function acts primarily in the pull-out direction.

As an alternative or in addition to being removable, the second telescopic element can have a discharge opening for emptying. This is arranged in particular in the bottom of the second telescopic element and is therefore accessible even when the second telescopic element is pushed in or pulled out only slightly. The opening can be closed by a movable cover. This is z. B. formed by a slide or a flap, but it is also z. B. possible to form the bottom of the second telescopic element in whole or in part from a resilient material (eg. As soon as the bending force ceases, the opening closes again automatically.

In order to prevent the emptying opening from being opened inadvertently, a locking mechanism can be arranged which only releases the movement of the cover when the second telescopic element assumes a certain extended position. A counter-section for the cover is advantageously arranged on the inner part, such that the cover can interact with the counter-section even when the second telescopic element is pulled out. In this way, in particular, the cover can be held in a closed position. For this purpose, the inner part advantageously extends further in the direction of the cover than the second telescopic element in the region of the counter-section (or counter-sections). In order nevertheless to enable easy ejection of the second telescopic element, it has an actuating section which protrudes at least beyond the first telescopic element. By pressing the actuating section, the second telescopic element can be pushed out of the first telescopic element until it can be easily grasped from the outside for further opening. In alternative embodiments, the opening is formed in the outer first telescopic element. Also 12 a closable access to the first recording room can be created. An inner part can also be used in these embodiments.

The first telescopic element and the second telescopic element are preferably designed like a folding box, with interacting stops for limiting a relative displacement of the telescopic elements being arranged on the first and second telescopic element, with the stops being formed in particular by bent tabs. In particular, the tabs are bent over 180° and glued to an underlying portion of the same element. In this way, stops that function reliably can be formed in a simple manner without the need for additional elements.

Advantageously, the first telescopic element and the second telescopic element have a rectangular cross section perpendicular to a displacement direction. This results in a simple geometry, the friction between the telescopic elements is moderate, simple blanks can be used, and assembly is easily possible using known methods from the production of paper and cardboard packaging.

Advantageously, the first telescopic element and/or the second telescopic element is at least partially coated with a fire-retardant material on an inside. In this way, the risk of fire can be significantly reduced, and a large class of base materials for the telescopic elements (and also e.g. for the inner part), e.g. B. paper-based materials can be used. Alternatively, a base material that poses a low risk of fire is used. In other embodiments, it is also possible that the telescopic elements essentially form a mechanical support structure and the actual first receiving space is covered by an inner shell that is not dimensionally stable, e.g. B. a bag, is formed from a fire retardant material, which are arranged in the telescopic elements and connected to them.

The package may include means for automatically moving the first telescoping member and the second telescoping member in a direction from the second relative position to the first relative position without the action of an external force such that the 13

Recording volume, taking into account recorded cigarette butts or tobacco sticks, is automatically minimized.

The means are in particular spring means or magnetic means. They can be designed as separate elements or integrated into the telescopic elements. The packing may be designed to contract into a compressed configuration once the opposing force is removed. However, it can also be designed to remain in an extended configuration until contraction is triggered, e.g. B. by a manual release action.

This ensures that the pack is always in a minimum volume configuration. Your appearance is therefore always as inconspicuous as possible.

If separate spring means are used, then in particular elastic bands, tension springs, leaf springs and one or more telescopic elements essentially surrounding helical or torsion springs can be used.

In other embodiments, the telescopic elements are moved back and forth between the first and second relative positions by the user. After a cigarette butt has been picked up, the statement is pushed back until further pushing back is impossible due to the contents of the first receiving space. This also results in a minimal recording volume.

WAYS OF IMPLEMENTING THE INVENTION FIG. 1 is an oblique view of a first embodiment of a cigarette pack according to the invention with an integrated container for accommodating cigarette butts. The cigarette pack 1 consists of a paper material, is essentially cuboid, with a rear wall 2, two side walls 3, 4, a front wall 5 and a base 6. At the upper end of the cigarette pack 1, a pivotable lid 7 is arranged. By opening the lid 7, the interior of the cigarette pack 1 is accessible for removing cigarettes.

The cigarette pack 1 is made up of the three basic elements shown in FIGS. 2a-2c, which in the assembled state shown in FIG. 1 are telescoped into one another. 15

The bottom 6 is part of an extension 40 (2nd telescopic element; Fig. 2b), which is relative to the outer part 20 (1st telescopic element; Fig. 2a) and the inner part 60 (Fig. 2c), which is firmly connected to the outer part 20, in the longitudinal direction the cigarette pack 1 (that is, in a direction perpendicular to the base 6) can be pulled out and pushed in.

The other outer surfaces mentioned are formed by the outer part 20 in the state according to FIG. This has a base part 21 which is rectangular prismatic in shape. It can be closed on the upper side by the cover 7 which can be folded around a hinge fold. The outer part 20 is open on the lower side. Two tabs 24, 25 bent inwards and glued in place form stops for cooperation with the drawer 40, as described in more detail below. The cover 7 is shaped in a manner known per se, so it does not need to be described in more detail here.

The pull-out 40 is also rectangular and prismatic in shape, its outer dimensions are chosen so that it can be moved in the outer part 20 along the longitudinal axes of the base parts to fit. The pull-out 40 has an opening 42 in its front face 41 . This has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, its greatest extent is oriented transversely to the longitudinal direction. It is arranged in a central area of the front surface 41 in relation to the longitudinal direction.

The drawer 40 also has two tabs 44, 45 bent outwards and glued in place, which in turn form stops for interacting with the tabs 24, 25 of the drawer 20, as described in more detail below.

As can be seen in particular from the pattern for the extension 40 (Figure 3b), the rear surface of the extension 40, starting from the base 6, extends less far upwards than the front surface 41.

The inner part 60 in turn has a rectangular prismatic shape, with the outer dimensions being chosen such that it can be accommodated in the pull-out 40 without impeding its movement relative to the outer part 20 (and to the inner part 60). On its rear side, the inner part 60 has a tab 61 bent outwards (cf. FIG. 3c), with which it is glued to the inner side of the rear wall 2 of the outer part 20 . 16

When pushed together, the tab overlaps the rear surface of the pull-out 40.

The inner part 60 forms a receiving space 9 for receiving the cigarettes (or tobacco sticks in corresponding packs).

In the collapsed state, as can be seen from FIG. In this state, the appearance of the pack does not differ from that of known packs. The excerpt 40 can now be pulled out or pushed out in the longitudinal direction from the other two parts, namely at most until the through the tabs 24, 25; 44, 45 of the outer part or of the extension interact with one another. For this purpose, when the lid 7 of the pack is open, the pull-out 40 can be pushed down over its rear end, at least until the pushed-out part can be grasped from the outside. A withdrawal, especially when the lid 7 is closed, can be made possible or facilitated by the outer part 20, z. B. on its rear wall 2 and its front wall 5, engagement cutouts are left out at the lower end and / or by the excerpt 40 with suitable holding means such. B. a pull tab equipped.

In the extended position mentioned, the opening 42 and thus the receiving space 8 are accessible from the outside (cf. FIG. 4c), which is explained in more detail below. When the pull-out 40 is pushed back, the opening 42 is closed again by interaction with the outer part 20 .

The outer part 20, the extension 40 and the inner part 60 can each be produced from a one-piece material blank. In the cutting patterns shown in Figures 3a-3c for the outer part 20 (Fig. 3a), the extension 40 (Fig. 3b) and the inner part 60 (Fig. 3c), cuts and incisions are shown as usual by solid lines and folds by dashed lines . The pull-out 40 can easily be pushed into the outer part 20 from above, ie from the cover side, without this insertion movement being impeded by the stops on the outer part 20 or on the pull-out 40 . The use of the cigarette pack according to the invention is explained below with reference to FIGS. 4a-c. FIG. 4a shows the cigarette pack 1 in the closed state. This corresponds to the delivery state in which the pack is filled with cigarettes and the storage space for cigarette butts is empty. The cover 7 is still closed. The pull-out 40 has been fully inserted into the pack 1.

To remove cigarettes from the pack 1, the cover 7 is opened in a manner known per se, resulting in the situation shown in FIG. 4b.

If cigarette butts are to be temporarily stowed away, especially if there is no ashtray within reach, the excerpt 40 is made in the longitudinal direction of the pack 1 18 of these pulled out manually. The maximum pull-out distance is approx. 5 cm. FIG. 4c shows the corresponding end position, which is specified by the stops described above. The opening 42 in the drawer 40 is no longer covered by the outer part 20 and is therefore accessible from the outside. After the cigarette butt has been brought through the opening 42 into the receiving space 8, the extract 40 can be pushed back partially. The cigarette butt (and any cigarette butts already previously in the receiving space 8) is pushed from the inner part 60 to the lower end of the extension 40, so that after the extension 40 has been pushed in, there is ultimately a minimal storage volume.

FIG. 5 is an oblique view of a second embodiment of a cigarette pack according to the invention with an integrated container for accommodating cigarette butts. In many respects it corresponds to the first exemplary embodiment; the main differences are discussed below. The cigarette pack 101 consists of a paper material, is essentially cuboid, with a rear wall 102, two side walls 103, 104, a front wall 105 and a base 106. At the upper end of the cigarette pack 101, a pivotable lid 107 is arranged. By opening the lid 107, the interior of the cigarette pack 101 becomes accessible for removing cigarettes.

The cigarette pack 101 is made up of the three basic elements shown in FIGS. 6a-6c, which in the assembled state shown in FIG. 5 are telescoped into one another.

The base 106 is part of an extension 140 (2nd telescopic element; Fig. 6b), which extends relative to the outer part 120 (1st telescopic element; Fig. 6a) and the inner part 160 (Fig. 6c), which is firmly connected to the outer part 120, in the longitudinal direction of the cigarette pack 101 (that is, in a direction perpendicular to the base 106) can be pulled out and pushed in.

The other outer surfaces mentioned are formed by the outer part 120 in the state according to FIG. This has a base 121 which is rectangular prismatic in shape. It can be closed on the upper side by the cover 107 which can be folded around a hinge fold. The pull-out 140 is also rectangular and prismatic in shape, its outer dimensions are chosen so that it can be moved appropriately in the outer part 120 along the longitudinal axes of the base parts. The drawer 140 has an opening 142 in its front face 141 . This has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, its greatest extent is oriented transversely to the longitudinal direction. It is arranged in a central area of the front surface 141 in relation to the longitudinal direction. In contrast to the first embodiment, the extension 140 is shorter, with the exception of a pin-like bulge 143 at its upper end. It extends further upwards from the front surface 141 on the side opposite the bottom 106 and is arranged in one of the lateral end regions.

The drawer 140 also has two tabs 144, 145 which are bent outwards and glued in place, which in turn form stops for interacting with the tabs 124, 125 of the drawer 120, as described in more detail below. In contrast to the first embodiment, the tabs 124, 125 are shorter.

As can be seen in particular from the cutting pattern for extension 140 (Figure 7b), the rear surface of extension 140, starting from base 106, extends the same distance upwards as front surface 141.

The inner part 160 in turn has a rectangular prismatic shape, the outer dimensions being selected such that it can be accommodated in the pull-out 140 without impeding its movement relative to the outer part 120 (and to the inner part 160). On its rear side, the inner part 160 has a flap 161 bent outwards (cf. FIG. 7c), with which it is glued to the inner side of the rear wall 102 of the outer part 120. When pushed together, the tab overlaps the rear surface of the pull-out 140. In contrast to the first embodiment, the inner part 160 is longer, 20 so that it can interact with the cover 107 of the pack 101 even when the pull-out 140 is pulled out and can hold it in particular in a closed position.

The inner part 160 forms a receiving space 109 for receiving the cigarettes (or tobacco sticks in corresponding packs). In contrast to the first embodiment, the inner part 160 is longer and forms the recess 161 for gripping the received cigarettes, which is formed in the drawer in the first embodiment.
