- An outlet is a device used to connect electrical wiring and cords, and a plug is inserted therein. Depending on the number of pins on the plug, there are two-pin outlets and three-pin outlets with a grounding wire. Usually, two pins are used for 100V and three pins are used for 220V.
- the cord or plug When an overcurrent flows when connecting a cord to such an outlet through a plug, the cord or plug may overheat and cause a fire.
- the temperature inside the outlet due to the overheating of the plug and the temperature around the outlet due to the overheating of the cord are sensed to determine whether there is a fire and to provide the determined fire to the central management center. It is necessary to quickly detect a fire in the outlet.
- the "outlet equipped with a fire detection function" allows the occurrence of a fire to be recognized quickly and thus stability is improved.
- Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2228742 "outlet with fire detection function" is intended to improve stability by quickly recognizing the occurrence of a fire, and when connecting a cord to an outlet through a plug, It is not possible to detect the internal temperature and the temperature around the outlet due to overheating of the cord to determine whether there is a fire and to provide the determined fire to the central management center.
- the present invention has been devised to solve the above problems, and when a cord is connected to an outlet through a plug, the temperature inside the outlet due to overheating of the plug and the temperature around the outlet due to overheating of the cord are detected to determine whether a fire exists
- the purpose of the present invention is to provide a fire detection device for an outlet so that the determined fire is provided to the central management center.
- a current sensing unit 14 for detecting a current flowing through the plug 30 while the cord 32 is connected to the outlet 10 through the plug 30;
- a first temperature sensing unit 16 for sensing a temperature inside the outlet 10 according to overheating of the plug 30;
- a second temperature sensing unit 18 for detecting the temperature outside the outlet 10 according to the overheating of the cord 32 through the ventilation hole 12;
- a carbon dioxide concentration sensing unit 19 for detecting the surrounding carbon dioxide concentration
- the fire is determined by judging whether there is a fire from the detection current of the current sensing unit 14, the sensing temperature of the first and second temperature sensing units 16 and 18, and the carbon dioxide sensing concentration of the carbon dioxide concentration sensing unit 19. a fire detection and control module 20 provided to an external central management center 40;
- a light emitting unit 50 installed outside the outlet 10 to emit light 62;
- a light receiving unit 60 that receives the light 62 emitted by the light emitting unit 50;
- the light receiving unit 60 determines that there is a person between the light emitting unit 50 and the light receiving unit 60 when it does not receive the light 62 emitted by the light emitting unit 50 to detect the fire and By providing a signal according to the failure to receive light to the control module 20, the fire detection and control module 20 provides information that there is a person near the outlet 10 to the central management center 40 do it with
- the fire detection and control module 20 detects that the detection current of the current detection unit 14 is greater than or equal to a set value, the detection temperature of the first and second temperature detection units 16 and 18 is greater than or equal to a set value, or the carbon dioxide concentration. If the carbon dioxide detection concentration of the part 19 is greater than a set value, it is characterized in that it is determined as a fire.
- the temperature inside the outlet 10 according to the overheating of the plug 30 and the outlet 10 according to the overheating of the cord 32 by sensing the surrounding temperature to determine whether a fire exists, and to provide the determined fire or not to the central management center 40, so that it is possible to quickly detect a fire in the outlet.
- FIG. 1 is a view showing an embodiment of a fire detection device for an outlet according to the present invention.
