  • [7] in a first aspect of the present invention is any drug and/or medicine and/or medication, or even food supplement, among others, whose commercial offer must have a package insert, where this obligation is protected by ANVISA;
  • the packaging and its label must convey all relevant information about the product, contributing to its use. suitable and safe. They must contain mandatory information established by re-solutions published by each agency.
  • the means of identification will preferably be a Data Matrix type code, the conventional bar code and the more contemporary QRcode, among others.
  • [16] - Medicine are all the resources used to cure or relieve pain, discomfort or illness, its concept being broader than that of medicines.
  • Non-exhaustive examples of remedies include analgesic, amphetamine, antacid, antibiotic, antidote, aspirin and barbiturate.
  • Every medicine is a medicine, but not every medicine is a medicine, and the classification of medicines is divided into three different categories, namely: reference, similar and generic;
  • - Food supplements are preparations intended to complement the diet and provide nutrients, such as mineral vitamins, fiber, fatty acids or amino acids, which may be lacking or cannot be consumed in sufficient quantities in a person's diet.

  • [22] - Package insert is a document included in the packaging of a medicine that provides information about that medicine and its use. For prescription drugs, inclusion is technical, providing information to physicians on how to prescribe the drug.
  • Package inserts for prescription drugs usually include a separate document called a "patient package insert" with information written in plain language and intended for the end user; the person who will take the drug or give it to someone else, such as a minor. Brochures for over-the-counter medications are also written simply;
  • [24] - Dosage it is the way to use drugs and/or medicines and/or medications and/or food supplements, that is, the number of times and the amount of medication to be used each day, which varies according to function of the patient, the disease being treated and the type of medication used by the patient;

  • the identifier means will preferably be a Data Matrix type code, the conventional bar code (EAN) and the more contemporary QRcode, as well as the use of conventional printing or in Braille the name of the active ingredient;
  • QR Code presents the same list of applications listed for the conventional bar code, with the advantage of presenting faster reading of the code and identification of the product read, in the case of the present invention, the code identification printed on the packaging of a product of interest. Its nomenclature derives from the English acronym “Quick Response”, rapid response in Portuguese is a variation of the conventional bar code, in the form of a two-dimensional pixel code (it does not provide for the use of alphabetic or numerical references).
  • EAN Barcode for products
  • barcode is a type of means of identifying product consumption, more suitable to be applied to larger products, where its nomenclature comes from the acronym of the English language “barcode”, being a graphical representation of numeric or alphanumeric data. It is commonly used in several areas, from industry to commerce and services.
  • the EAN standard (English language acronym for “European Article Number, which in free translation can be understood as “European Article Number”) is conceptually a product identification code, which has all the important information of a commodity, such as manufacturer, country of origin, product model and check digit.
  • Active ingredient conceptually it can be understood as the molecule (natural or synthetic) responsible for the therapeutic effect obtained by a particular drug.
  • an active ingredient we can mention Dipyrone and Omeprazole, among others.
  • [31] - Data Matrix Code it is the most appropriate type of product consumption identifier of specification for the present invention, being a more accurate type of QRcode code, with application focused on small items, as in the case of a miniature package of a product of interest, of the present invention patent. It has the ability to encode fifty characters into a 2 or 3 mm readable symbol and the fact that the code can be read with only a 20% contrast ratio.
  • Data Matrix code is scalable, with commercial applications with images as small as 300 micrometers (laser etched on a 600 micrometer silicon device) and as large as a 1 meter square.
  • the information to be encoded can be text or numeric data.
  • the usual data size is from a few bytes to 1556 bytes.
  • the length of the encoded data depends on the number of cells in the array. Error correction codes are often used to increase reliability: even if one or more cells are damaged, making them unreadable, the message can still be read.
  • Matrix can store up to 2335 alphanumeric characters. Depending on the encoding used, a light cell represents a “0” and a dark cell is a “1” or vice versa.
  • Every data matrix is composed of two adjacent solid "L”-shaped edges (called a “locator pattern”) and two other edges that consist of alternating “cells” or modules of dark and light (called a “pattern pattern”). timing”). Within these borders are rows and columns of cells that encode information.
  • the locator pattern is used to locate and orient the symbol, while the time pattern provides a count of the number of rows and columns in the symbol. As more data is encoded in the symbol, the number of cells (rows and columns) increases.
  • Each code is unique. Symbol sizes range from 10 c 10 to 144 x 144 in the new ECC 200 version and from 9 c 9 to 49 x 49 in the old ECC 000 - 140 version;
  • [32] - Braille System it is a writing and reading process based on 64 embossed symbols, resulting from the combination of up to six dots arranged in two columns of three dots each. You can represent both letters, numbers and punctuation marks;
  • - Code reader the decoding (reading) of data from a QRcode, DATA Matrix or even barcode is performed by a type of scanner - the barcode reader, which emits a red ray that travels through all the bars.
  • the data captured in this optical reader is understood by the computer, which in turn converts it into human-readable letters or numbers.
