Description
MILL BLADE ALLOWING READY-MADE MATERIAL USE IN
HAMMER MILLS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to the mill blade, which allows the use of ready made material in hammer mills, which was developed with the aim of minimizing the labour and time loss encountered during blade replacement in hammer mills, which are employed especially in the feed industry to reduce the particle size of the products used as feed raw materials.
PRIOR ART
Hammer mills are used in order to break the granular raw materials used in the feed industry and to have the desired smaller particle sizes. Hammer mills allow the material with large particles, taken into the mill from the feeding inlet on them, to be broken by the contact of the blades rotating through the rotor in the mill with the material, and enable the material, whose size is reduced by sifting by means of the sieve sheets placed on the outside of the blades, to be transferred to the outside of the mill to obtain the desired material size.
In hammer mills used in the current technique, the movement provided by the mill motor is transferred to the mill blades via the rotor shaft. The material entering from the inlet on the mill is broken by the contact of the blades and then is sieved in the desired size through the sieve sheets in the mill and transferred out of the mill.
Traditional hammer mill blades are frequently replaced as consumables. Hammer mill outer casings must be completely disassembled for this operation. Then, the specially prepared cover, which is positioned in the same axis with the blade pins, needs to be removed. Afterwards, the sieves must be completely disassembled and taken out. The fixing nut under the cover, which is positioned on the same axis with the blades, is removed. After removing the nut, the mill that is centering the blades must be carefully removed by a
personnel, and at the same time, the released blades and spacer washers must be held by another personnel and taken out of the machine. However, during this process, dropping of washers and blades into the machine is also at stake. Accordingly, at least three people are needed to replace the blades due to the requirements mentioned in hammer mills in the current method. This can cause both workforce and parts loss and damage to other machines. In addition, excessive vibration may occur in the machine due to the incorrect assembly of the attached parts, and this in turn may lead to irrecoverable deformations over time.
Some development studies are carried out in the technical field in order to reduce the aforementioned difficulties. A blade configuration developed for easy assembly of hammer mill blades and increased crushing efficiency is mentioned in document No. US10486160. Here, it is aimed to increase the crushing efficiency by making the crusher contact points of the blades from materials of high hardness, while it is aimed to weld the blades on the main body to prevent free swing during assembly and to break these welds and turn the blades into free swing position back again after assembly, which is their normal operating position. However, it can be clearly seen that again the maintenance and assembly difficulties mentioned above cannot be eliminated here either. The blade configuration mentioned in the related document, which is the subject of the invention, could not be an adequate solution for the disadvantages mentioned both due to the disadvantage of the weight of the monolithic construction and having to replace all of the blades in case of damage to one of them.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, enables the use of ready-made material in a way to allow changes to be made in the crushing surface without the need to completely disassemble the mill blades from the hammer mill during maintenance-repair operations, whose contact surfaces are used to crush the products taken into the mill and which need to be changed frequently due to wear.
In the hammer mill blade developed, there is the blade body (1), on which a crusher tip slot (1.2) is formed to allow the carbide cutting plates used in machining tools to be used as crusher tip (2).
In the hammer mill blade developed, a separate lifetime is obtained for each surface of the same crusher tip (2) as the crusher tip (2) connected to the crusher tip slot (1.2) formed on the blade body (1 ) has more than one surface.
In the hammer mill blade developed, the crusher tip (2) connected on the body (1) can be changed without terminating the connection of the blade body (1), via the pin slot (1.1), on the hammer mill blade centring pin. Thus, the replacement process to be made depending on the hammer mill blade deformation is carried out in a much shorter time and easily compared to the hammer mills used in the current technique.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, which allows the use of ready-made materials in hammer mills, contains parts and sections of the blade body (1), to which crusher tip (2) is connected, which is preferably selected from the carbide cutting plates manufactured in standard sizes and
used in the machining processes, at least one crusher tip (2), which is preferably selected from the carbide cutting plates manufactured in standard sizes and used in the machining processes, and at least one fastener (3).
On the blade body (1) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, there is at least one pin slot (1.1) that allows the body (1) to be connected to the centring pin, which extends along the body of the hammer mill and ensures that the blade bodies (1) to be used for crushing are connected and centred and that all blades remain on the same axis with the rotational movement.
On the blade body (1) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, there is at least one crusher tip slot (1.2) formed in the form of a recess according to the geometric shape of the crusher tip (2), which allows at least one surface of the crusher tip (2) to be connected by positioning and centering it parallel to the outer crushing surface of the blade in order to break the pieces taken into the mill.
On the blade body (1) developed in the hammer mill blade which is the subject of the invention, there is at least one connection hole (1.3) that enables the crusher tip (2) to be attached to the body (1) by way of the fastener that attaches the crusher tip (2) to the body (1 ) passing through it.
The crusher tip (2) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, is preferably selected from carbide cutting plates manufactured in standard sizes and used in machining processes. The crusher tip (2) has at least one crusher surface (2.1) on it. The crusher tip (2) has at least one connection hole on it. The crusher tip (2) is connected on the blade body (1) so that at least one crusher surface (2.1) is parallel to the outer surface of the blade body (1) in order to perform the crushing process by contacting the material to be crushed taken into the hammer mill. The crusher tip (2) is fastened on the blade body (1) as a result of connecting the fastener (3) passing through the connection hole on the crusher tip (2) into the connection hole (1.3) on the blade body (1). The crusher tip (2) snaps off from the blade body (1) as a result of the deformation of the crusher surface (2.1) over time, and the operational continuity of the blade body (1) is increased by
reconnecting the crusher tip (2) on the blade body (1) parallel to the outer surface of the blade body (1) so that undeformed crusher surface (2.1) facing the inner side of the blade body (1) comes into contact with the material to be broken.
The fastener (3) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, is the part that enables crusher tip (2) to be fixed on the blade body (1) by passing through the connection hole on the crusher tip (2) and the connection hole (1.3) on the blade body (1 ).
Intense material contact in the process of breaking the material taken into the hammer mill occurs on the crusher surface (2.1) of the crusher tip (2) thanks to the connection of the crusher tip (2) on the blade body (1) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention. While the blade body (1) developed ensures the contact of a single crusher surface (2.1) on the crusher tip (2) with the material, it allows the contact of the crusher tip (2) in such a way that the other crushing surfaces (2.1) on the crusher tip (2) are not deformed. Thus, when the crushing surface (2.1) on the cutting tip (2) and remaining on the outer surface of the blade body (1) is deformed, the unused and undeformed crushing surface (2.1) is brought to the outer part of the blade body (1) only by rotating the crusher tip (2) around its own axis on the blade body (1) and fastened up once again and the breaking process can continue at the same standard. The crusher tip (2) used in this way can be used more than once depending on its number of geometric edges. After all the crusher surfaces (2.1) are deformed by use, the crusher tip (2) is removed from the blade body (1) and the new crusher tip (2) is fastened on the blade body (1) so that it is possible to use the hammer mill without experiencing the aforementioned blade body (1) replacement difficulties.
Thanks to the connection of the crusher tip (2) on the blade body (1 ) developed in the hammer mill blade, which is the subject of the invention, a crushing surface with high material strength is obtained, depending on the selection of the crusher tip (2), preferably from carbide cutting plates manufactured produced in standard sizes and used in machining processes. Thus, the crushing ability of the hammer mill is also increased by the blade
body (1), which is the subject of the invention, which provides freedom of choice for the crusher tip (2) to be optionally selected by the user.
