It may be calculated as a voltage for charging the battery 11 up to . As a result, the battery 11 can be charged with the lowest possible charging voltage within a range in which the user's satisfaction level is highly likely not to fall below a specific satisfaction level.
- the arbitrary used capacity may be selected from, for example, the largest used capacity, the most recent used capacity, etc., except for the use period during which the battery capacity limit is lifted, which will be described later.

For example, the calculation unit 14 calculates a line passing through the average values of the used capacity rates of the satisfaction levels L1 to L5 as the approximation line C1.
- An example of the approximation line C1 is an approximation line passing through the average values of the used capacity ratios of the satisfaction levels L1 to L5.

For example, the calculation unit 14 uses the previously calculated average value or the like as the used capacity rate corresponding to the satisfaction level L2. Alternatively, the calculation unit 14 calculates the used capacity rate corresponding to the satisfaction level L2 based on the approximate line C1. As a result, the used capacity rate and, by extension, the charging voltage are calculated in which a plurality of pieces of satisfaction level information are properly reflected. In this example, the calculated used capacity rate is Y1 (70%). Note that the corresponding residual capacity ratio is 30%.

For this purpose, the calculation unit 14 selects an arbitrary plot from among the plurality of plots, and calculates the used capacity value corresponding to the used capacity ratio indicated by the selected plot. In this example, the used capacity percentage shown in the selected plot is Y2 (20%).

- a voltage for charging the battery 11 up to is calculated as a charging voltage. For example, as schematically shown in FIG. 7, when the fully charged battery 11 discharges the same amount of electric power (corresponding to the upper hatched portion) as the calculated used capacity value, the remaining capacity corresponding to the satisfaction level L2 A charging voltage of 4.00 V is calculated to give a rate of 30%.

For example, the acquisition unit 12 may recognize a period of use during which a large amount of battery capacity is expected to be required based on various information including information on the schedule of the user U, and automatically acquire release instruction information. . Examples of information related to the schedule are information shown in emails used by the user U, SMS (Short Message Service), SNS (social networking service), and the like.
- the charging unit 15 charges the battery 11 at the maximum charging voltage when the acquiring unit 12 acquires the release instruction information. Thereby, the battery capacity can be secured for the next usage period.
- the user U can reduce the charging voltage to a level that does not cause dissatisfaction according to his or her battery capacity needs, and control the charging voltage so that the peak capacity can be obtained as necessary. is provided.

- Acquisition unit 12 acquires satisfaction level information.
- the acquired satisfaction level information is stored in the storage unit 13 and added to the data list 13 a of the storage unit 13 .
- release instruction information is also acquired.
- step S3 the process branches depending on whether the battery capacity limit is to be lifted. If the battery capacity limitation is to be canceled, that is, if the cancellation instruction information is acquired in step S2 (step S3: Yes), the process proceeds to step S4. Otherwise (step S3: No), the process proceeds to step S5.

As described above with reference to FIG. 5, the calculation unit 14 calculates the average value or the median value of the used capacity rate for each of the satisfaction levels L1 to L5.
- step S52 an approximate line is calculated.
- the calculator 14 calculates the approximate line C1 as described above with reference to FIG.
- step S53 the used capacity rate that achieves the satisfaction level L2 is calculated.
- the calculation unit 14 sets, for example, the average used capacity rate or the median used capacity rate calculated in the previous step S51 as the used capacity rate corresponding to the satisfaction level L2.
- the calculating unit 14 calculates the used capacity rate corresponding to the satisfaction level L2 using the approximate line C1 calculated in the previous step S52.
- the approximation line C1 is used.
- step S54 the used capacity value in an arbitrary past usage period is calculated. As described above with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, the calculation unit 14 selects any past used capacity rate and calculates the corresponding used capacity value.
- step S55 the charging voltage that achieves the satisfaction level L2 with the calculated used capacity value is calculated.
- a voltage for charging the battery 11 until the battery 11 has a remaining remaining capacity rate is calculated as a charging voltage.
- step S6 the calculated voltage is set to the charging voltage.
- the setting unit 16 sets the voltage calculated in the previous step S5 as the charging voltage.
- step S7 the battery is charged at the set charging voltage.
- the charging unit 15 charges the battery 11 with the charging voltage set in the previous step S4 or step S6.
- steps S1 to S7 as described above are repeatedly executed at predetermined intervals.
- the number of satisfaction level information acquired and accumulated in step S2 increases, and the charging voltage calculated in step S5 becomes a more appropriate charging voltage that provides a battery capacity that satisfies the user U1. can be approached.
- steps S4 to S6 in FIG. 10 can also be explained as steps S81 to S83 as illustrated in FIG. 12 from the viewpoint of charging voltage change. That is, if the user satisfaction level is less than the satisfaction level L3 (step S81: Yes), the charging voltage is increased by an arbitrary amount (step S82), otherwise (step S81: No), the charging voltage is increased by an arbitrary amount. can be lowered by For example, in this way, the charging voltage is brought closer to a voltage at which the user's satisfaction level does not fall below the satisfaction level L2, i.e. a more suitable charging voltage that gives a battery capacity that satisfies the user U1. Note that, in this example, the charging voltage is changed as soon as the user's satisfaction level becomes less than the satisfaction level L3. However, it is also possible to perform control such that the charging voltage is changed only when the user's satisfaction level is continuously lower than the satisfaction level L3. The number of continuations may be set as appropriate.
- FIG. 13 is a diagram showing an example of charging voltage changes.
- the horizontal axis of the graph indicates time, and the vertical axis indicates remaining capacity ratio (%). Initially, the battery is charged at a charging voltage of 4.40 V and is fully charged.
- the usage period ends and the charging period starts.
- the remaining capacity rate is 62%, and the user satisfaction level is L4.
- the processes of steps S1 to S7 described above with reference to FIG. 10 are executed.
- the battery 11 is charged at 4.37V, which is lower than the previous charge voltage of 4.40V.
- the usage period ends and the charging period starts.
- the remaining capacity rate is 53%
- the user satisfaction level is L3.
- the battery 11 is charged at 4.34V, which is lower than the previous charge voltage of 4.37V.
- the usage period ends and the charging period starts.
- the remaining capacity rate is 41%
- the user satisfaction level is L3.
- the battery capacity limit cancellation is selected here, and the battery 11 is charged at the maximum charging voltage (4.40 V in this example).
- the charging voltage is controlled according to user satisfaction.
- FIG. 14 is a diagram schematically showing battery deterioration.
- the “remaining capacity rate (%)” and the “usage rate (%)” depend on how the user U uses the electronic device 1 .
- the “charging voltage” is calculated and controlled as described above. “Capacity deterioration damage due to full charge retention” and “capacity deterioration damage due to charge/discharge cycles” increase or decrease depending on how the user U uses the electronic device 1 . “Accumulated capacity deterioration damage” is accumulated according to how the user U uses the electronic device 1 . The “swelling damage” increases or decreases depending on how the user U uses the electronic device 1 . “User satisfaction” is fed back from the user U, as explained above.
