When the mating connector is installed in a vibrating device such as an automobile, when the connector is fitted to the mating connector, the vibration of the device causes the wire to vibrate. For this reason, conventionally, a wire cover is attached to the rear side of the connector in the fitting direction, and the wire cover suppresses the vibration of the wires.
However, conventionally, sufficient consideration has not been given to the problem of suppressing the vibration of the electric wire with the electric wire cover.

[Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure]
First, embodiments of the present disclosure are enumerated and described.
(1) A wire cover according to the present disclosure is a wire cover that is attached to the rear side in the fitting direction of a connector that is fitted to a mating connector and covers the wires that are led out from the rear side in the fitting direction of the connector. a first cover member disposed on one side of the electric wire in the radial direction; and a second cover member engaged with the first cover member and disposed on the other side of the electric wire in the radial direction. the first cover member has a first groove extending in the fitting direction; the second cover member has a second groove extending in the fitting direction; The first groove and the second groove cooperate to form an electric wire passage through which the electric wire is inserted when the members are engaged with each other. It has a pair of first projections extending from both sides of the first groove to the inner surface of the first groove and projecting toward the second cover member when viewed from the fitting direction, and the second cover member A pair of second protrusions are provided when viewed from the direction and projecting from both sides of the second groove to the first cover member side in continuation with the inner surface of the second groove, and the first cover member A pair of first recesses for escaping the pair of second protrusions are provided at positions corresponding to the pair of second protrusions protruding from the cover member, and the second cover member is separated from the first cover member. A pair of second recesses for escaping the pair of first protrusions are provided at positions corresponding to the pair of projecting first protrusions, and the first protrusions and the second protrusions do not collide with each other. , the first protrusion and the second protrusion are shifted in the fitting direction.
The wire cover attached to the rear side of the connector in the mating direction includes a first cover member arranged on one side in the radial direction of the wire and a second cover member arranged on the other side. There is a structure in which an electric wire can come into contact with the joint between the member and the second cover member. A wire cover having such a structure has a problem that when the wires vibrate, a load is applied from the wires to the joint between the first cover member and the second cover member, making it easier to open the wire cover.
According to the wire cover according to the present disclosure (hereinafter referred to as the wire cover), the first convex portion and the second convex portion prevent the wire from contacting the joint between the first cover member and the second cover member. it gets harder. For this reason, it becomes difficult for the electric wire to apply a load to the joint between the first cover member and the second cover member, making it difficult to open the electric wire cover. Therefore, according to the above-mentioned wire cover, there is a problem in suppressing the vibration of the wire by the wire cover (when the wire vibrates, the wire cover is prevented from applying a load from the wire to the joint between the first cover member and the second cover member). The problem that it becomes easy to open) can be improved.
(2) the connector has a plurality of wires led out, and the first cover member is provided with the first groove and the pair of first projections for each of the plurality of wires; The second cover member may be provided with the second groove and the pair of second protrusions for each of the plurality of electric wires.
When a plurality of electric wires are led out from the connector, the number of parts increases if the first cover member and the second cover member are provided for each electric wire.
According to the above wire cover, the first cover member is provided with the first groove and the pair of first protrusions for each wire, and the second cover member is provided with the second groove and the pair of second protrusions for each wire. Since the convex portion is provided, only two cover members are required for a plurality of electric wires. Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced as compared with the case where the first cover member and the second cover member are provided for each electric wire.
(3) The first cover member and the second cover member may have the same shape, and the first cover member and the second cover member may be arranged point-symmetrically when viewed from the fitting direction.
According to the wire cover described above, since the first cover member and the second cover member have the same shape, it is possible to reduce the types of parts compared to the case where the first cover member and the second cover member have different shapes. Therefore, the cost of the wire cover (development cost, manufacturing cost, management cost, etc.) can be reduced.
(4) The distance between the pair of first projections projecting from both sides of the first groove is narrower than the diameter of the wire, and the distance between the pair of second projections projecting from both sides of the second groove is narrower than the diameter of the wire. It may be narrower than the diameter of the wire.
According to the above-described wire cover, the pair of first projections are in pressure contact with the wires and the pair of second projections are in pressure contact with the wires, thereby suppressing movement of the wires in the fitting direction with respect to the wire cover. can.
(5) The inner surface of the first groove is provided with a first rib or a first concave groove extending in the circumferential direction of the first groove, and the inner surface of the second groove is provided with a groove extending in the circumferential direction of the second groove. A second extending rib or second groove may be provided.
According to the above wire cover, the first rib and the second rib bite into the wire, thereby suppressing the wire from moving in the fitting direction with respect to the wire cover. Alternatively, a portion of the inner surface of the first groove other than the first groove extending in the circumferential direction is in pressure contact with the wire, and a portion of the inner surface of the second groove other than the second groove extending in the circumferential direction is in pressure contact with the wire. It is possible to suppress the wires from moving in the fitting direction with respect to the cover.
 (6)本開示に係るコネクタ構造は、相手側コネクタに嵌合されるコネクタと、前記コネクタの嵌合方向後側に取り付けられる上記(1)から(5)のいずれか一つに記載の電線カバーと、を備える。 (6) A connector structure according to the present disclosure includes a connector to be fitted to a mating connector, and the electric wire according to any one of (1) to (5) above, which is attached to the rear side of the connector in the fitting direction. a cover;
According to the above connector structure, it is possible to solve the problem of suppressing the vibration of the electric wire with the electric wire cover.
(7) A first engaging portion that engages the connector and the first cover member, and a second engaging portion that engages the connector and the second cover member may be provided.
According to the connector structure described above, since the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are provided, it becomes difficult for the first cover member and the second cover member to come off from the connector.

(2) Connector The connector 11 will be described with reference to FIG. The connector 11 has a synthetic resin housing 14 and two electric wires 12 extending from the rear side of the housing 14 .
The housing 14 is formed in a substantially box shape. A flange 15 projecting in the circumferential direction is integrally formed at the rear end of the housing 14 . An engaging projection 40U (an example of a second engaging portion) and an engaging projection 40L (an example of a first engaging portion) are vertically spaced apart from each other on the left and right side surfaces of the housing 14 in front of the flange 15. there is The upper engaging projection 40U has a chamfered upper corner. Lower corners of the lower engaging protrusions 40L are chamfered.
The housing 14 accommodates metal terminals that come into contact with the metal terminals of the mating connector. The electric wire 12 is stripped at the tip to expose the core wire, and a metal terminal is connected to the exposed core wire by crimping or welding.
(3) Wire Cover As shown in FIG. 3, the wire cover 13 includes a second cover member 16U arranged above the wire 12 in the radial direction (the vertical direction in FIG. 3) and a first cover member 16U arranged below the wire 12. and a member 16L. The first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U have the same shape. The first cover member 16L has an engagement portion 17 (lock arm 32 and engagement protrusion 33) that engages with the second cover member 16U, and the second cover member 16U engages with the first cover member 16L. It has a portion 17 (lock arm 32 and engagement projection 33).
(3-1) Cover Member Since the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U have the same shape as described above, the first cover member 16L will be described as an example here. In the following description, the name "first" attached to the members of the first cover member 16L is replaced with "second" in the second cover member 23U. Further, in the following description, the reference numeral "L" attached to the members of the first cover member 16L is replaced with "U" in the second cover member 23U.
As shown in FIG. 4, the first cover member 16L includes a rear wall portion 18, two side wall portions 19 extending forward from both left and right sides of the rear wall portion 18, and an inner portion extending from the lower ends of the two side wall portions 19. It has a pair of left and right bottom wall portions 20 extending. The rear side of the bottom wall portion 20 is also integrated with the rear wall portion 18 .
The rear wall portion 18 has a certain amount of thickness in the front-rear direction. The lower end of the central portion of the rear wall portion 18 excluding the left and right sides is located above the lower end of the side wall portion 19 .
Two first grooves 22L each having a semicircular cross-section extending in the front-rear direction are formed on the surface of the rear wall portion 18 facing the second cover member 16U (the upper side in FIG. 4). The first groove 22L cooperates with the second groove 22U of the second cover member 16U to form an electric wire passage through which the electric wire 12 is inserted. The radius of the first groove 22</b>L substantially matches the radius of the electric wire 12 .
A plurality of elongated first ribs 43L extending in the circumferential direction of the first groove 22L are provided at intervals in the front-rear direction on the inner surface of the first groove 22L. The cross section of the first rib 43L is, for example, triangular. Since the plurality of first ribs 43L bite into the electric wire 12, the electric wire 12 is suppressed from moving in the front-rear direction with respect to the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U.
In the following description, it is assumed that the surface 21 of the rear wall portion 18 is the upper end surface of the rear wall portion 18 (hereinafter referred to as the upper end surface 21). The height of the upper end surface 21 of the rear wall portion 18 matches the height of the upper end surface of the side wall portion 19 . A pair of first protrusions 23L projecting upward from both left and right sides of the first groove 22L when viewed in the front-rear direction are formed on the upper end surface 21 for each first groove 22L. The side surface on the first groove 22L side of each first protrusion 23L continues to the inner surface of the first groove 22L, and the side surface on the first groove 22L side and the inner surface of the first groove 22L are flush with each other. A rib is also formed on the side surface of the first protrusion 23L on the side of the first groove 22L so as to extend the first rib 43L formed in the first groove 22L.
A pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of one of the two first grooves 22L are at the same position in the front-rear direction. A pair of first projections 23L projecting from both sides of the other first groove 22L are also positioned at the same position in the front-rear direction. However, the position of the pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of one first groove 22L and the position of the pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of the other first groove 22L are different in the front-rear direction. deviated from Therefore, when the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U are engaged with each other, the first protrusion 23L of the first cover member 16L and the second protrusion 23U of the second cover member 16U do not abut each other.
On the upper end surface 21 of the rear wall portion 18, first recesses 24L are formed in front of a pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of the left first groove 22L. As shown in FIG. 5, first recesses 24L are also formed behind a pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of the right first groove 22L. These first concave portions 24L are for releasing the second convex portions 23U projecting from the second cover member 16U.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the rear wall portion 18 has a rear and left corner that is obliquely chamfered to form an inclined surface 28 (see FIG. 1). As shown in FIG. 4, a lightening hole 30 with a bottom and a right-angled triangular cross section is formed in the rear and left corners. As shown in FIG. 5, the rear and right corners of the rear wall portion 18 are also chamfered obliquely to form slopes 29 . A lightening hole 31 with a bottom having a right-angled triangular cross section is also formed at the rear and right corners.
As shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of first ribs 27L are formed on the rear side of the rear wall portion 18. As shown in FIG. Taking the second cover member 16U shown in FIG. 1 as an example, the second cover member 16U has a rear and upper corner of the rear wall portion 18 that is notched in a triangular shape when viewed from the left and right direction. Triangular second ribs 27U are integrally formed at equal intervals in the left-right direction.
As shown in FIG. 4 , vertical grooves 25 extending vertically are formed on the inner surface of the side wall portion 19 on the side of the rear wall portion 18 . A horizontal groove 26 is formed in the upper surface of the bottom wall portion 20 so as to extend in the left-right direction and connected to the vertical groove 25 . The flange 15 provided on the connector 11 is inserted into these grooves 25 and 26 from above (from below in the case of the second cover member 16U).
A vertically elongated rectangular concave portion 41 is formed in front of the vertical groove 25 on the inner surface of the side wall portion 19 . A portion 42</b>L of the side wall portion 19 above the recess 41 constitutes an engaged portion that is engaged with the engaging projection 40</b>L provided on the housing 14 of the connector 11 . In the following description, the upper portion 42 will be referred to as an engaged portion 42L. The upper corner of the engaged portion 42L (an example of the first engaging portion) is chamfered.
(3-2) Engagement Portion As shown in FIG. 3, the engagement portion 17 has an elastically deformable lock arm 32 and an engagement projection 33 . For example, in the case of the first cover member 16L, the lower end of the lock arm 32 is integrated with the corner of the rear wall portion 18 and extends upward. The lock arm 32 has a shape in which the upper ends of two vertically extending arms are connected to each other, and the corners of the upper ends on the slope 28 side are chamfered.
As shown in FIG. 5, the engaging projection 33 is provided on the slope 29 at the right corner of the rear wall portion 18 . The lock arm 32 of the second cover member 16U is engaged with the engagement projection 33. As shown in FIG. The engaging projection 33 has chamfered corners at the upper end. The lateral width of the engaging projection 33 substantially matches the interval between the two arms of the lock arm 32 .
The reason why the engagement portion 17 (the lock arm 32 and the engagement projection 33) is provided at the chamfered corner of the first cover member 16L is to reduce the projected area when the connector structure 1 is viewed from the front-rear direction. . The engaging portion 17 may be provided on the side wall portion 19 or may be provided on the rear wall portion 18 .
(4) Attachment of Wire Cover to Connector Attachment of the wire cover 13 will be described with reference to FIG. When attaching the wire cover 13, the flange 15 of the connector 11 is inserted from above into the longitudinal groove 25 formed in the side wall portion 19 of the first cover member 16L and the lateral groove 26 formed in the bottom wall portion 20. While the first cover member 16L is pushed up, the second cover member 16U is pushed down so that the flanges 15 of the connector 11 are inserted into the vertical grooves 25 and the horizontal grooves 26 of the second cover member 16U from below.
At this time, the lock arm 32 of the first cover member 16L is engaged with the engagement protrusion 33 of the second cover member 16U, and the lock arm 32 of the second cover member 16U is engaged with the engagement protrusion 33 of the first cover member 16L. The first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U are engaged by mating.
Furthermore, the engaged portions 42U and 42L formed on the side wall portions 19 of the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U are engaged with the engaging projections 40U and 40L of the housing 14 of the connector 11, respectively. The wire cover 13 and the connector 11 are engaged with each other.
As shown in FIG. 6, when the wire cover 13 is attached to the connector 11, the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U are arranged point-symmetrically when viewed from the rear side. A dotted line 34 in FIG. 6 indicates a position where the upper end face 21 of the first cover member 16L and the upper end face 21 of the second cover member 16U abut. In other words, the dotted line 34 indicates the position of the joint between the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U.
(5) Effect of Embodiment The effect of the embodiment will be described in comparison with a comparative example. A comparative example shown in FIG. 11 shows an example of a conventional common wire cover. As shown in FIG. 11, the wire cover 501 according to the comparative example is divided into a first cover member 502 arranged on one side in the radial direction of the wire 12 and a second cover member 503 arranged on the other side. The structure is such that the electric wire 12 can come into contact with the joint between the two cover members 502 and 503 . In the wire cover 501 having such a structure, when the wire 12 vibrates, a load is applied from the wire 12 to the joint between the two cover members 502 and 503, and a force F that tries to open the two cover members 502 and 503 is applied. acts to facilitate the opening of the wire cover 501 .
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, according to the wire cover 13 according to the first embodiment, the wires 12 are separated from the first cover member 16L and the second cover 16L by the presence of the first convex portion 23L and the second convex portion 23U. It becomes difficult to abut on the joint of the member 16U. Therefore, it becomes difficult to apply a load from the electric wire 12 to the joint between the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U, and the electric wire cover 13 becomes difficult to open. Therefore, according to the wire cover 13, there is a problem in suppressing the vibration of the wire 12 by the wire cover 13 (when the wire 12 vibrates, a load is applied from the wire 12 to the joint between the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U). Therefore, the problem that the wire cover 13 becomes easy to open) can be improved.
According to the wire cover 13, the first cover member 16L is provided with a first groove 22L and a pair of first projections 23L for each wire 12, and the second cover member 16U is provided with a second groove 22U for each wire 12. , and a pair of second protrusions 23U are provided, two cover members 16 are sufficient for the plurality of electric wires 12 . Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced compared to the case where each electric wire 12 is provided with the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U.
According to the wire cover 13, since the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U have the same shape, the types of parts can be reduced compared to the case where the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U have different shapes. . Therefore, the cost of the wire cover 13 (development cost, manufacturing cost, management cost, etc.) can be reduced.
According to the wire cover 13, the first rib 43L is formed on the inner surface of the first groove 22L, and the second rib 43U is formed on the inner surface of the second groove 22U. By biting into the wire cover 12 , it is possible to suppress the wire 12 from moving forward and backward with respect to the wire cover 13 .
According to the connector structure 1, the problem of suppressing the vibration of the electric wire 12 by the electric wire cover 13 can be improved.
According to the connector structure 1, since the first engaging portion (the engaged portion 42L and the engaging projection 40L) and the second engaging portion (the engaged portion 42U and the engaging projection 40U) are provided, the first cover It becomes difficult for the member 16L and the second cover member 16U to come off from the connector 11 .
<Embodiment 2>
A connector structure 201 according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 8 and 9. FIG. The connector structure 201 has a connector 211 and a wire cover 213 . Although the electric wire 12 is omitted in FIG. 8, the connector 211 has only one electric wire 12 drawn out from the rear side. The wire cover 213 has a first cover member 216L and a second cover member 216U. The first cover member 216L and the second cover member 216U have the same shape and are arranged point-symmetrically.
As shown in FIG. 9, since only one wire 12 is led out from the connector 211, only one first groove 22L is formed in the first cover member 216L. When the first cover member 216L is also viewed from the front-rear direction, the first protrusions 23L protrude from both sides of the first groove 22L, but these two first protrusions 23L are displaced from each other in the front-rear direction. Therefore, even if only one electric wire 12 is led out, the first convex portion 23L of the first cover member 216L and the second convex portion 23U of the second cover member 216U do not abut each other.
Embodiment 2 is substantially the same as Embodiment 1 in other respects.
<Embodiment 3>
Embodiment 3 will be described with reference to FIG. The wire cover 313 according to Embodiment 3 includes a first cover member 316L and a second cover 316U. In the first cover member 316L, the distance between the pair of first projections 323L projecting from both sides of the first groove 22L is narrower than the diameter of the electric wire 12. As shown in FIG. Also, in the second cover member 316U, the distance between the pair of second protrusions 323U projecting from both sides of the second groove 22U is narrower than the diameter of the electric wire 12. As shown in FIG. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, the pair of first projections 323L of the first cover member 316L are in pressure contact with the electric wire, and the pair of second projections 323U of the second cover member 316L are in pressure contact with the electric wire 12. is doing. Since the pair of first protrusions 323L and the pair of second protrusions 323U are in pressure contact with the wires 12, it is possible to suppress the wires 12 from moving forward and backward with respect to the wire cover 13. FIG.
Embodiment 3 is substantially the same as Embodiment 1 in other respects.
<Other embodiments>
The technology disclosed in this specification is not limited to the embodiments described in the above description and drawings, and the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope disclosed in this specification.
(1) In the first embodiment, the case where the two first projections 23L protruding from both sides of one first groove 22L have the same position in the front-rear direction has been described as an example. On the other hand, the two first protrusions 23L protruding from both sides of one first groove 22L may be displaced from each other in the front-rear direction, as in the second embodiment. Even with such a shape, the first convex portion 23L of the first cover member 16L and the second convex portion 23U of the second cover member 16U do not abut each other.
(2) In the above embodiment, the case where the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U have the same shape has been described as an example. However, the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U do not have to have the same shape.
For example, in Embodiment 1, a pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of one first groove 22L of the first cover member 16L and a pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of the other first groove 22L of the first cover member 16L. 23 L of convex parts are shifted|deviated to the front-back direction. On the other hand, a pair of first protrusions 23L projecting from both sides of one of the two first grooves 22L, and a pair of first protrusions projecting from both sides of the other first groove 22L. The portion 23L does not have to be displaced in the front-rear direction. In other words, these four first protrusions 23L may be aligned in the left-right direction. The four first projections 23L aligned on the first cover member 16L and the four second projections 23U aligned on the second cover member 16U may be shifted in the front-rear direction. Even with such a shape, the first convex portion 23L of the first cover member 16L and the second convex portion 23U of the second cover member 16U do not abut each other.
(3) In the above embodiment, the case where the lock arm 32 and the engaging projection 33 are provided on the first cover member 16L has been described as an example. On the other hand, for example, two lock arms 32 may be provided on the first cover member 16L and two engaging protrusions 33 may be provided on the second cover member 16U.
(4) In the first embodiment, the number of electric wires 12 is two, and in the second embodiment, the number of electric wires 12 is one. However, the number of electric wires 12 is not limited to these, and may be three or more.
(5) In the first embodiment, the first cover member 16L is provided with the first groove 22L and the pair of first protrusions 23L for each electric wire 12, and the second cover member 16U is provided with the first groove 22L and the first convex portion 23L for each electric wire 12. A second groove 22U and a pair of second protrusions 23U are provided in the two wires 12, and the first cover member 16L and the second cover member 16U are arranged for the two electric wires 12.
