Description
A MOUNTING ADAPTOR AND CONNECTION PIECE FOR CONCEALED
RESERVOIR SYSTEMS
Technical Field
The utility model is related to a mounting adapter of the concealed reservoir systems that enables the hardware components within the tank structure to be fixed in certain positions, and the connection piece that is detachably connected to the same.
Prior Art
Concealed reservoir systems contain various equipment within the tank structures. In general, this equipment can be summarized as clean water fill-valve, flush-valve, angle-valve, filling valve supply hose, brackets and clips for hardware connections, etc. Some of these components have interconnected relationships. Some connection relationships can complicate the service and maintenance interventions that can be performed from the access hall to some extent.
For example, the fill valve supply hose is connected to the angle-valve and in most applications, it must be located so that it is accessible through the access opening of the concealed reservoir. The hoses are produced with flexible springs and they are allowed to take shapes consisting of some complex curves when mounted. With this behavior, the hoses can affect the interventions that can be made from the access channel, depending on the condition of the connection, and in some cases, the hose may need to be demounted. Depending on its possible incorrect connection, the hose may collide with the actuator mechanism of the concealed reservoir system and cause problems in the operation of the mechanism. When such a problem is encountered, the connection of the hose should be rearranged so that it does not affect the comfortable operation of the mechanism.
Some fittings (in the form of brackets or clips) are used to fix the discharge valve in a certain position in the tank. These pieces are connected to the tank directly or by means of additional adapters. The connection piece must be demounted for the discharge valve to be demounted
and serviced or replaced. In some applications, the discharge valve connection piece is in a certain deep position in the interior of the tank body, making it difficult to access for removal or installation.
Patent application no EP1932972A1 is related to a concealed reservoir having a box body to which a retainer for a fill valve, and a discharge valve seat are fitted. According to the description, the holder includes a locking unit for removably fixing a fill valve.
Although the patent application no EP1932972A1 tries to present a solution that provides a quick and easy mounting and demounting of the system components with as few components as possible, it cannot provide a solution that can be used especially for the accessible fixation of the in-tank hose connections.
It is understood that the application no EP3287566 is related to a reservoir tank equipped with an adjustable wall mounting device, which can be used especially for concealed reservoir mechanisms.
According to the description of the application no EP3287566, the embodiment that is the subject of the application is equipped with a support element for mounting in-reservoir elements such as pipes and hoses. It is thought that this configuration will hold the pipe and make it accessible within the service opening distance.
However, the embodiment that is the subject of the said application describes a plate form that can be mounted on the rails formed on the reservoir wall. Since this configuration mainly aims to adjust the level, it can remain useless and complex.
Although the configuration subject to the application no EP3287566 provides an advantage by keeping the in-reservoir elements such as pipes and hoses at the level of the access hall, it is thought that it will not be possible to perform the operations such as demounting and mounting the plate from the access hall over the access hall.
In application no EP3287566, it is considered that the discharge valve connection piece does not contain a description of its relationship with the plate. In this case, a disadvantage may
occur for the service/mounting-demounting processes, as the discharge valve connection piece cannot be intervened in the access hall.
Problems the Invention Aims to Solve
With the invention, it is aimed for the mounting base piece formed in the tank structure of the concealed reservoir systems to solve the following problems.
• To be able to keep the supply hose connected to the fill valve on a certain line and to facilitate access to the equipment in the tank at the time of service intervention.
• To ensure that the discharge valve connection piece is positioned in a way that it can be easily and detachably accessed from the access hall.
• To be able to implement these processes easily, quickly and at low cost.
For this purpose, a mounting base piece which consists of a mounting adapter that can keep the supply hose on a certain line in the upper part and can be easily mounted-demounted to the reservoir tank, which can be easily mounted-demounted to the mounting adapter and which enables the discharge valve to be fixed inside the tank was formed.
Thanks to this mounting base piece formed, the user will be able to easily reach the supply hoses, as well as the discharge valve, from the access hall. Again, using only the access hall, the user will be able to detach the mounting adapter from the reservoir tank, and the connection piece formed depending on it from the mounting adapter.

Description of the Invention
The invention is related to a mounting adapter (1) integrated into the tank structure of the concealed reservoir system (CC) and the connection piece (K) that is detachably connected to the same.
In the specification, the structure consisting of the assembly adapter (1) and the connection piece (K) is defined as the mounting base piece.
The mounting adapter (1) provides two functions:
The supply hose (H), which is connected to the fill valve, is held by the mounting adapter (1) so that it can stay on a certain line. In this way, access to the equipment in the tank is facilitated at the time of service intervention.
It is possible to connect the connection piece (K), which ensures the fixation of the discharge valve in the tank, to the mounting adapter (1) by being formed in a level that can be easily and detachably reached from the access hall.
The relationship of the mounting adapter (1) with the concealed reservoir tank body (3) and the tank cap (2) has been formed in such a form that it can provide the targeted functions with a compact structure. Since it contains flexible pieces, it is preferred that it is formed with thermoplastic (ABS, PP, POM, etc.) materials.
The mounting adapter (1) is fixed by placing the same in the concealed reservoir tank body (3) and the tank cover (2) in the mounted state in a practical way. After this fixation, the fill valve will be able to hold the supply hose (H) and will also provide structural details where the discharge valve holder can be locked.
The mounting adapter (1) has an approximately flat plate structure. There are hose holder extensions (1.1) at close positions to the left and right sides of the structure. In the lower- middle part of the structure, there is a connection piece space (1.3) in which the discharge valve connection piece (K) can be inserted and fixed. In order to fix the mounted position of the mounting adapter (1), there are two fixing extensions (1.4) on the lower part of the rear surface, preferably on the left and right.
According to Figure 4, the mounting adapter (1) is formed by two upper pieces (1.5) designed side by side and 2 lower pieces (1.6) formed at the lower part of each upper piece (1.5) in continuation.
According to Figure 4, the upper pieces (1.5) are formed in a rectangular shape and contains 2 hose holder extensions (1.1) on their bodies inclined towards each other. A hose passage gap (1.2) is formed between the hose holder extensions (1.1).
The lower pieces (1.6) extend in continuation of the upper pieces (1.5) and are preferably equipped with fixing extensions (1.4) at their ends. The fixing extensions (1.4) have a pin form according to one of the preferred embodiments of the invention.
The tank cap (2) contains a mounting adapter connection region (2.1) where the mounting adapter (1) can be placed. The mounting adapter connection region (2.1) is preferably formed in the rear-middle part of the tank cap (2). The mounting adapter connection region (2.1) contains a mounting adapter seat (2.1.1) that takes the plate-like structure of the mounting adapter (1) in itself with certain dimensional tolerances.
When mounted on the concealed reservoir system (CC), the mounting adapter (1) is inserted into the mounting adapter seat (2.1.1) of the tank cap (2), and the fixing extensions (1.4) of the mounting adapter (1) establish a snug fit relation with the fixing spaces (3.1) formed on the tank body (3). The mounting adapter (1) has a rigid connection, thanks to its practical placement in the tank body (3) and the tank cap (2) in the mounted state.
When mounted, the hose holder extensions (1.1) of the mounting adapter (1) extend outwards from the hose holder extension spaces (2.1.2) located in the mounting adapter connection region (2.1) of the tank cap (2). In this relationship, the hose passage gap (1.2) reaches a size that can grip the approximate circular hose (H) section (Figure 3). The hose (H) can be mounted or demounted by means of the stretching of the hose holder extensions (1.1) of the mounting adapter (1) at a certain rate.
The other function of the mounting adapter (1) is the possibility to fix the connecting piece (K) of the discharge valve. The discharge valve connection piece (K) is not the focus of this document, but can be formed in different ways. The focus of the document is the connection piece space (1.3) provided in the mounting adapter (1) for a properly constructed connection piece (K). In the mounted state, the connection piece space (1.3) of the mounting adapter (1), which is limited by the tank body (3), ensures that the discharge valve connection piece (K) can be kept fixed by the snap-fit relationship. Depending on the structure of the connection piece (K) and the physical properties of the snap-fit relationship, a locking stage (1.3.1) is formed in the space volume to prevent it from coming out of the connection piece space (1.3) by itself.
The mounting adapter (1) is able to keep the supply hose (H) connected to the fill valve on a certain line and facilitates access to the equipment in the tank at the time of service intervention. At the same time, the mounting adapter (1) ensures that the discharge valve connection piece (K) can be connected in a position where it can be easily and detachably accessed from the access hall.
