Description

MODULAR SYSTEM WITH THE CAPABILITY TO TRANSFORM INTO PRODUCTS OF DESIRED DIMENSIONS AND FEATURES
Technical Field
The invention is related to a modular system that enables the construction of very different products in parallel with the user's needs and imagination by combining more than one module.
The invention is a modular system that enables the construction of very different products in parallel with the needs and imagination of the user, with all modules having the feature of being mounted to each other, including modules of different sizes. Such that, the user can complete the assembly of the said modular system without the need for any hand tools and can produce a product in the desired design. In order for each module used in the system to be connected to each other, all installation intervals have been determined by special calculations.
Known State of the Art
Modular products have a very important place today due to problems such as people getting bored with the products they buy in a short time or the product not being able to meet the requirements after a certain period of time. The fact that the purchased product is in a structure suitable for replacement/expansion and the fact that this replacement/expansion process can be easily done by the user without the need for a different hand tool appears as a reason for the preference of many products. In this type of systems, the desired main module can be combined with all other parts in a compatible manner. Even though modular systems are used in many areas today, they require different external supports in each area of application. Using the simplest example, even a modular furniture system requires different fasteners to be used in its installation and the mounting of these fasteners is made by using different hand tools. However, it is not unfortunately possible to design a very different product using the parts of modular furniture. In the present technique, each modular product can only be transformed into a final product as written in its user manual. In this sense, the idea of developing a modular system that will enable the users to construct very different products according to their imagination by combining multiple modules, including those of different sizes, without the need for any hand tools, has led to the emergence of the system that is the subject of the invention.
At the present, there are applications known as jigsaw puzzle products, in which the target product is obtained by putting the pieces together. In jigsaw puzzle applications, all the pieces have to be connected to each other in a certain sequential order because each piece is designed in accordance with the piece to be used before and after it. In the system that is the subject of the invention, the locations, dimensions and sequential order of the parts (modules) are not important. The desired final product can be obtained by combining the modules in the desired number and desired dimensions.
Even though the use of modular systems is widespread over a very wide area of use, each modular system can only be used to construct products suitable for its own purpose of production. Building a chicken coop using parts of a modular table is nearly impossible with the presently available systems. In this sense, different modular system applications and patent applications for these applications have been evaluated, although each one is specific to its own field of use.
One of the most important advantages of the system, which is the subject of the invention, is that many independent products can be converted into each other. In this sense, many products can be made completely at the desire of the user; such as flower pots, fences, walkways, all kinds of pet shelters or animal transport boxes such as chicken coops, dog kennels, chick rearing cages, bird cages, shoe racks, material cabinet for a corner of your garden, sitting sets in picnic areas, guard for the rear trunk of vehicles, indoor partitions in the patio, garden, etc. can be made from cabinets or shelves purchased in the form of modules. Even though there is not any system with such a wide range of usage in any application of the present technique, there are developments regarding the enlargement of poultry living spaces. However, in such systems, it is not possible to combine each module with each other regardless of direction and size. Some prior art systems developed for poultry living spaces will be discussed below.
The Chinese utility model numbered CN206212988, which was proposed in order to design products with different sizes and features by joining the parts together, discloses a chicken coop with expandable area and a coop body. In the said utility model, the chicken coop body is divided into upper and lower levels. The upper level is a hall and the lower level is a working cage. The feature is that there is an extension room in the hall. The hall comprises the front side panel, the left side panel, the right side panel and the lower compartment; a frame structure and front side panel are hinged to the upper end frame structure to accommodate the cover at the upper end of the hall. Also, the Chinese utility model numbered CN208064214 is related to a poultry farm area, a new type of chicken coop equipment for rearing in cages, including the cage body, silo to one side of the cage body and discharge mechanism to the bottom. Also, the patent application numbered TR2018/18024 is related to a modular floor piece that is covered on the floor of the living areas of poultry, allowing the accumulation and evacuation of the feces accumulated inside. As the said floor piece has legs in a structure that can be disassembled and installed, it allows constructing a different size floor space by using the same floor piece. Here, a protection is required for the floor plate on which various spaces are constructed and for the feet placed under it, and the system is not a modular and expandable system. With the modules of the system that is the subject of the invention, structures for the transportation of animals can also be realized. For example, the utility model application numbered TR2020/11933 is related to a modular structuring that is used for the transportation, sheltering and toileting of pets such as cats and dogs, and that can be transformed turned into a kennel, bag or toilet for sheltering, transportation and toilet requirements of pets such as cats and dogs. The modular structure mentioned in the said application is related to a structuring that can only be used for the transportation of animals.
When all the patent documents and scientific studies and belonging to the technical literature mentioned above are examined, the need for a modular system that can be transformed by the user to a different product by distributing it completely or partially, especially when it loses its need in the area of use, without the need for any hand tools, has compelled the inventor to make a development in this field.
Brief Description of the Invention and Its Objectives
The objective of the invention is to provide a modular system that allows the construction of very different products in parallel with the needs and imagination of the user, having the feature of all modules being assembled to each other, including modules of different sizes, that does not require any hand tools for assembly. In this way, houses in the form of models can be constructed and these houses can be easily converted into animal living spaces when desired.
An objective of the invention is that the system can be expanded according to the usage area and purpose without any height or size limitation. Products can be designed in unlimited number and size of by using only the necessary modules. The snap-on clips, which are used to reinforce the connection of the modules in the expansion process are fixed at the desired places with only a small force applied by the user and can be removed with the reverse force.
Another objective of the invention is to make sure that the user does not need any hand tools for the assembly process. This way, even young users are given the opportunity to develop products in line with their imaginations by using the said modules.
Another objective of the invention is that the user does not have to match the direction and size of the modules when connecting the main parts that make up the modules to each other. For this reason, the user can combine each part that constitute the modules as he wishes, regardless of direction and size, and in this way, just imagining becomes sufficient to bring out the final product. Even in simple modular systems of the previous systems, the methods and directions of connecting the modules to each other are shown in the user manuals. However, by means of the inventive modular system, the user can develop the desired products without being limited with the user manual. The user manual will be evaluated for the purpose of giving an idea about the sample products.
Another objective of the invention is that the product can be converted into a different product completely or partially by the user when it loses its use in the area where it is employed. In this sense, waste is prevented both financially and as raw material, and people are provided with the opportunity to develop their thinking skills and manual abilities with a fun effort.
Another objective of the invention is to have a very wide field of use. Such that, in addition to constructing living spaces for animals, any type and size of products imaginable such as simple sitting groups and tables, flower pots, folding or fixed cabinets, shelves, decorative columns, walking paths, patio, pool, pergola, parking lot pavement, animal transport box, shoe rack, etc. can be obtained in this modular system.
Another objective of the invention is to ensure that each module or infinitely expanded modules can be folded collectively like an accordion when the internal connections are removed. In this sense, obtaining a cube shape by bringing together all interior and exterior parts with the same dimensions is achieved with a special-pitch double-sided hinge that brings this structure to a perfect square shape, enables it to be folded and does not interfere with the parts of the same size to be added on the inside and outside. The same pitch has been adapted to parts of all sizes, enabling the assembly of parts of different sizes to each other.
The other objective of the invention is that although all clips can be mounted and disassembled with special torque, they do not come off when they are assembled. The used clips are fasteners designed in accordance with the pitch structure of the modules and used to reinforce the connection of the modules. Another objective of the invention is to provide a modular system suitable for very different purposes of use. In addition to its wide field of use, it has a structure that can serve different purposes with the way it is used. For example, in cases where products in the form of house models are designed with the modular system that is the subject of the invention, the roof also has the option of being opened so that it can be used as a cabinet. Furthermore, roofs can be easily mounted in different directions. They can be canceled or added later. When canceled, they can be stored folded like modular systems. When multistory modules are used for pets, the partitioned open section can be configured for climbing up or down with staircase without dismantling the module completely.
Another objective of the invention is to add a pan for animal droppings in cases where it is used as an animal living space, and to ensure that the grid on which the animals step can be replaced with a removable, washable or filled material without dismantling the system.
Another objective of the invention is to ensure that modules (all parts) can be produced as plastic, wood-plastic mixture, transparent, empty frame, feathered, pergola fence pattern, etc.
In order to fulfill the objectives described above, the invention is a modular system that can be expanded according to the area of use and purpose desired by the user, independently of matching in direction and size, without the need for any hand tools, without any height and size limitation, and that can be transformed into a different product completely or partially by the user when it is no longer needed in the area of use, wherein it comprises modules that can be assembled with each other including those with different sizes obtained with special-pitched double-sided hinges, that are used in fixed or folded form by means of the auxiliary clips and hinges with the calculated intermediate dimensions, that can be mounted side by side in endless shapes and lengths, that combine multiple module surface parts and the said module surface parts with each other, provide a perfect square shape, make them foldable, do not constitute a hindrance for parts to be added from inside and outside. It contains modules that can be assembled together, including those of different sizes, obtained with a special pitch double-sided hinge that does not form.
In order to realize all the advantages mentioned above, which will be understood from the detailed description below, the present invention provides many conveniences with its mentioned features.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention as well as all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the figures given below and the detailed explanation written with reference to these figures; therefore assessment should be made by considering these figures and their detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed explanation, preferred embodiments of the modular system of the invention are described for better understanding of the subject only and without imposing any limiting effect, the said system allowing very different products to be constructed in parallel with the needs and imagination of the user, and does not require any hand tools with the feature that all modules (55), including modules (55) of different sizes, being assembled to each other. The fact that the modular system of the invention can be enlarged without height and size limitations according to its field of use and purpose, and that the user does not need to match the direction and size of the modules (55) while connecting them to each other greatly expands the field of use of this system.
Figure 1 is the perspective view of the living space constructed for poultry, which is an exemplary embodiment of the modular system of the invention. In the said living space, 2 modules (55) are combined side by side and a living space with 4 modules (55) is constructed by adding 2 more modules (55) on top of the 2 modules (55) that were placed side by side. The modules (55) are composed of different parts in accordance with the field of use. Modules (55) are made by combining the module surface pieces (8) and by bringing together the parts such as the module door frame (12), the small jamb (14), the small sliding door (15), the large door cover (16), the solid large door cover (18), door jamb (17), module solid side piece (26), module solid door (27), module fully solid door (28) in accordance with the field of use. Details of the mentioned parts will be given in the exploded views in Figure 10 and Figure 13. Figure 2 is the view of opening the roof (2) and removing the perch grid part (22) in an exemplary embodiment of the modular system. At the bottom of the said perch grill part (22) there is the manure pan (23) which is designed to be removed in accordance with the module (55) and emptied into the garbage bag. The said roof (2) can be opened and its interior can be used as a cabinet when desired. The said roof (2) can be removed in a single move, its direction can be changed and placed on the said module (55) in a different direction, roof (2) can also be extended by making addition (See Figure 3a, 3b, 3c). By means of the modular system mentioned above, shelves can be made in the desired length and in the number of levels as desired. If desired, the number of shelves inside each module (55) can be increased. All modules (55) can be installed and removed individually or optionally locked tightly. The can be easily turned into cabinets by attaching doors. In tight spaces, extended in desired directions by making additions (See Figure 4a, 4b). Again, shelves, cabinets, animal shelter, inner shelves with or without doors, and legs can be removed in the longitudinal multiple modular system without the need for hand tools, and the said modules (55) can be folded together without being disassembled. Due to the fact that the said modules (55) can be folded together, they take up minimum space when they are not needed (See Figure 5a, 5b). Figure 6 is the perspective view of a living space with the 8 modules (55) having a heat chamber constructed for poultry, which is an exemplary embodiment of the modular system of the invention. It is a living space constructed with 8 modules (55) with a heat room; its roof (2) can be opened as a cupboard, and it has a manure pan (23) placed under the perch grill piece (22) at the base. When at least one staircase (33) is added to provide passage between the two modules (55), it can become a product where other animals can be accommodated. It can be towed by attaching wheels (51 ). Figure 7 is the perspective view of the living space, which is formed with a completely hollow interior in an exemplary embodiment of the invention. In the said figure, a closed area has been constructed with completely empty spaces in all directions independent of the size. In this embodiment, the modules (55) are not connected to each other; closed spaces of different sizes can be formed only by combining the parts (8). Solid parts, transparent parts, doors can be mounted at the desired area or to the whole. Then, shapes can be created with smaller or larger pieces. All sizes of cages, coops, nests or any shape can be mounted from inside, outside, bottom or top. In Figure 8a, 8b, exemplary views of adding an additional module (55) to the desired parts of the living spaces constructed for poultry by combining the parts (8) to each other independently of the module (55) are given in an exemplary embodiment of the invention. Figure 8c is an exemplary view of the tunnels constructed with parts of different sizes in desired lengths and directions by adding the parts (8) to each other independently of the module (55), and the modules (55) that can be added to them, in an exemplary embodiment of the invention. This way, the shelters and animal release areas can be arranged according to the trees or obstacles in the garden. For this configuration, modules (55) can be added to the desired regions of the tunnels constructed by combining parts (8) of different sizes (40*40, 50*50, 60*60... etc.). Figures 9a, 9b are the views of different applications in the form of an empty fence with columns (52) formed in an exemplary application of the inventive modular system. Figures 9a, 9b are the views of different applications in the form of a fence having an empty top with the columns (52) formed in an exemplary embodiment of the modular system of the invention. The fence can be used as plant protection, mini greenhouse, constructing a sitting group in the garden (for this, the floor can be given aesthetics with solid materials having wood mixtures and patterns) and pet enclosure-protection. A pigeon nest can be mounted on top of the column (52) while keeping the dogs or chickens inside. Ivy plants can be planted in column the column (52). Columns 52 can extend laterally as overhead beams. All these operations can be performed easily without any hand tools. If desired, the system can be disassembled and folded away. Figure 10 is the exploded view of the modular system of the invention in its simple form. Details of the used parts will be given below and all parts will be shown exactly in Figures 15, 16 and 17. Figure 11 is an exemplary disassembled view of a module (55) formed as a cube. Figure 12 is the exemplary view of the staircase (33) placed between the lower and upper floors in an exemplary embodiment of the modular system of the invention. Figure 13 is an exploded view with two modules (55) added side by side and the extended roof (2) in an exemplary embodiment of the modular system of the invention. All parts will be shown one-to-one in Figures 15, 16 and 17.
As the said modular system is expanded, it is reinforced with profiles (53). The said profiles (53) can be installed individually or in a folded configuration according to their length. The profiles (53) can be installed on the system before it is assembled, or they can be installed afterwards. The profile joints (44) engage with the aluminum profile (53) with its specially calculated dimension and remain fixed. They are compatible with all profiles (53). The folding torque clips (45) is used in place of the clips that prevent the module (55) from folding. It is assembled in a folded configuration; it is opened and locks itself when it is used. It can be folded and canceled again with a higher torque when desired and can be dismantled when necessary. The non-directional connection clips (46) is used for installing the base grill piece (22, 30) without a step between doors and windows of all sizes. One side of the clips is locked to the fixed side and the other side engages and supports the base grid piece (22, 30). To allow the profiles (53) to be mounted in all axes, at least one profile fixing part (47) is used. The said profile fixing part (47) is locked to the fixed side at one side and engages with the said profile (53) with its other side (See Figure 14a). Figure 14b is the view of the connection-locking system so that the upper and lower parts do not sag. At least one folding profile fixing part (48) used here allows the said profile (53) to be folded by rotating it. Figure 14c is the view of the assembly method that prevents upper and lower sagging and that does not make rotation. Upper profile fixing part (49) locks to the fixed side with one side and holds the said profile (53) with the other side, thus allowing the said profile (53) to be easily dismantled or installed. Figure 14d is the view of the wheel (51 ) connection provided under the modules (55). The corner foot with wheel (24) used here can be used with standard snug-fit wheels (51 ). However, the said corner foot with wheel (24) holds the two corners in a perfect square geometry and keeps the inner part and makes centering. Also, it does not affect the side modules (55) to be added. The said corner foot with wheel (24) is fixed at the corner of the module (55), and the front side foot (25) having the same features is fixed at the front and sides of the module (55).
The part that constitutes the main element in the modular system of the invention is the module surface piece (8). The said module surface piece (8) is fully symmetrical and it is produced independently of the direction. The said module surface piece (8) can be used as in fixed or folded configuration by means of its calculated intermediate dimensions and auxiliary clips and hinges and it can be installed side by side in endless shapes and lengths. A specialpitch double-sided hinge (1 ) has been developed that brings together the said module surface pieces (8), holds them in a perfect square shape, and does not interfere with the parts of the same size to be added on the inside and outside. The said special-pitch hinge (1 ) is a two-way piece that comes out of the mold in one piece without a core. It holds the two joined pieces in a square shape and can be mounted and dismounted with calculated torque. It has physical properties that allow the parts to be folded in and out. Since it has no internal or external protrusions, it does not prevent the parts (8) to be placed inside or outside the module it forms.
Special connection parts have been developed for the construction and attachment of modules (55) in the modular system of the invention. In addition, structures suitable for different purposes of use are used for the surfaces that make up the module (55). For example, the whole module (55) can be formed by adding the module surface pieces (8) to each other, or it can be formed by using parts such as module door frame (12), door jambs (17), large door cover (16, 18), module solid side pieces (26), module solid doors (27, 28), empty and half-empty frames (31 , 32), non-directional module door frames (38) and module addition/separation frames (40) so as to have different features and to be suitable for the purpose of use. In the modular system, roof front board (5) and the roof rear board is placed on the module (3) for the connection of the roof (2) to be placed on the module (55). The roof board clips (6) enables the roof (2) to be attached to the front and rear boards (3, 5) and allows the parts it connects to be dismantled. When the roof connection plate (7) is installed, it locks itself to the module, it is the piece that turns the roof (2) into a separate cabinet when the roof front board (5) and the said roof rear board (3) are locked, it does not have a right side or left side, and it allows the connection of side modules and clips. The roof top locking piece (35) is a part that comes out of the mold in one piece without a core. It holds the two joined pieces in a square shape and can be installed and dismantled with calculated torque. It prevents the parts on which it is attached from folding inwards and outwards. It is used in the extension or joining of the roof (2) and prevents water from leaking down in this process. The roof bottom and board locking piece (36) is a part that comes out of the mold in one piece without a core. It holds the two joined pieces in a square shape and can be installed and dismantled with calculated torque. It prevents the parts on which it is attached from folding inwards and outwards. It is used in the extension or joining of the roof (2) and connects the said roof (2) to the boards (3, 5). The general locking piece (37) is a part that comes out of the mold in one piece without a core. It holds the two joined pieces in a square shape and can be installed and dismantled with calculated torque. It prevents the parts on which it is attached from folding inwards and outwards. It functions as general locking piece on all modules (55), it does not have a right side or left side, and it has the feature of being attached and locked from the bottom or top to the same point. An upper part connection clips (9) has been developed for each part attached onto the modules (55), a rotation/locking clips (10) to be used in all locks that require rotation. Also, a specially developed tangent hinge (11 ) is a bidirectional part that comes out of the mold in one piece without a core, which ensures the folding of the said modules (55). As it has no internal or external protrusions, it does not interfere with the parts (8) to be placed inside or outside the module (55) it forms. The door hinge clips (13) used is produced in a dismountable form, and since it is not integrated with the frame (12), it reduces the cost of spare parts considerably. The side attachment clips (20) is attached to the solid side parts (26) and holds the said perch grill part (22, 30) on which the animals step, in such a way that it can be attached and removed. In addition, the feather side clips (29) is attached to the feather sides and holds the said perch grid part (22, 30) on which the animals step, in a removable way, and also provides for the construction of intermediate shelves in open cabinets.
The modular system of the invention has a multi-alternative structure. The parts used in the construction of the modules (55) can be changed and different functions can be added to the modules (55) by using different clips and connection pieces according to the desired features. Such that, in this modular system, in addition to constructing living spaces for animals, any type and size of product imaginable can be obtained such as simple garden sitting groups and tables, flower pots, folding or fixed cabinets, shelves, decorative columns, walking paths, patio, pool, pergola, parking lot, animal transport box, shoe rack, etc. The structure can be increased or decreased without height or size limitation; when the internal connections are removed, each module (55) or infinitely enlarged modules (55) can be folded together like an accordion.
