Abstract

The invention is a carpet washing machine for proper and effective washing of the hand-knotted carpets comprising the main chassis, the washing table arranged on said main chassis, the conveyor group with a movable structure on this washing table, and the brushing section, characterized in that it comprises a scraper moving linearly by means of at least one engine group, a nozzle group enables to transfer water and detergent on the carpet located along the positioning axis of said scraper, and a scraper section comprising the rake piston imposing movement to said scraper.

DESCRIPTION
A WASHING MACHINE FOR HAND-KNOTTED CARPETS
Technical Field
The invention relates to a carpet washing machine enabling proper and effective washing of hand-knotted carpets without any physical damage.
Prior art
As known, hand-knotted carpets are more valuable and have a higher sentimental value as they are handcrafted. Although hand-knotted carpets are mostly used for antique and ornamental purposes today, they have always preserved their importance. Hand-knotted carpets are usually produced in private carpet weaving workshops by using precious yarns such as silk, wool, and cotton.
Today, the carpet washing process in hand-knotted carpets is riskier and requires labor compared to other carpets. The dyeing of the yarns used for production is realized with special root dyes. The biggest problem in these types of carpets during the washing process results from the intermixing of the colors of the carpets.
The working principle of an industrial carpet washing machine in the current conditions can cause irreversible damages to a hand-knotted carpet. Such machines play a crucial role in the product's losing its essence, decreasing its life and resistance, and becoming weak and resistless along with damaging the threads, loops, knots, and colors of the hand-knotted carpets. Therefore, the hand-knotted carpets carry the risk of tearing, breaking or, being deformed.
In a search conducted in the Turkish patent database, an application numbered 2008/09506 has been found. The abstract page of this application states: The invention is a carpet washing machine comprising a main body, a belt conveyor that enables the movement of the carpet within the main body, a brush group that enables the carpet to be washed, a guiding roller group that provides grip for the carpet, and a winding roller to which the carpet is wrapped after washing, characterized in that it comprises a beating unit that enables to remove the elements embedded at the bottom of the carpet pile and a vacuum unit that allows absorbing the water and the dirt from the washed carpet.
Another application is the application numbered 2019/03744. The abstract page of this application states: This invention relates to an improvement for an industrial-type carpet washing machine used for cleaning/washing carpets in places such as mosques, etc., and that cannot be carried.
Description of the Invention
The object of the invention is to present a machine with different technical features, which brings a new initiative in this field, unlike the machines used in the prior art.
The most important object of the invention is to perform an effective washing process by eliminating the damages caused by the industrial carpet washing machines under the current conditions, without damaging the hand-knotted carpets.
Another object of the invention is to enable a simple use in accordance with the current technology with the PLC control and touch screen features of the hand-knotted carpet washing machine.
Another object of the invention is to ensure that hand-knotted carpets are washed without damaging their yarns, loops, knots, and colors.
Another object of the invention is to prepare a program suitable for the carpet to be washed by programming a washing process suitable for each carpet.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention reveals a carpet washing machine (10) for proper and effective washing of the hand-knotted carpets comprising the main chassis (15), a washing table (15.1) arranged on said main chassis (15), a conveyor group (16.1 ) with a movable structure on this washing table (15.1), and a brushing section (12).
Said invention comprises, with respect to its novelty feature, a scraper (11.7) moving linearly by means of at least one engine group (11.1), a nozzle group (11 .4) enabling to transfer water and detergent on the carpet located along the positioning axis of said scraper (11.7), and a scraper section (11 ) comprising the rake piston (11.3) imposing movement to said scraper (11 .7).
It also comprises a beating section (14) having at least one engine (14.1) constituted of a number of beating dredgers (14.2) located along a mounting axis (x); and a control panel (19) which can be programmed with a washing process suitable for each carpet, with which a program suitable for a carpet to be washed is prepared, and which has a PLC control system and touch screen of the hand-knotted carpet washing machine.
It also comprises a rubbing section (13) comprising a rubbing engine (13.1) with a movable structure moving linearly along the mounting axis (x) by means of an engine located along the mounting axis (x).
The carpet washing machine (10) of the invention has a main chassis (15) and a brushing section (12) is constituted on said main chassis (15). The carpet is secured on the washing table (15.1). Wetting and shampooing processes are realized by means of the water and detergent nozzles on the scraper section (11). Then, the washing process begins. In the washing section, brush-washing (12.1), rubbing section (13), and beating section (14) processes are applied, respectively. Said beating section (14) contains at least one beating engine (14.1). The scraper section (11) is activated again and the scraping process is performed. At the same time, the water nozzles work, and the rinsing process is realized.
The holder profiles (11.2) are structured in said scraper section (11) and the intermediate transfer member (118) that is structured between the said scraper (11.7) and the rake piston (11 .3) and providing the movement transfer are integrated into the system. It is also enabled with the engine group (11.1 ) having the drive gear (11.5) and the flat gear bearing (11.6) enabling the forward and backward linear movement of the scraper section (11) as a group. It comprises the main shaft and bearing members (11 .10) bearing the axial movement of said scraper (11 .7).
Again, the brushing section (12) is structured on the main chassis (15). The brushing section (12) enables brushing and washing with detergent water of the carpet by sliding on the rails (16) by means of the conveyor group (16.1). The brushes operate with the brush engine (12.2) and the brushes (12.1) brush the carpet. The pistons (18) and the motor groups (11.1) are mounted by means of the mounting plate (17). The up- and down-movement of the conveyor group (16.1) on the vertical axis is enabled by the pistons (18). In case the carpet is brushed by brushes (12.1 ), the pistons bring the conveyor group (16.1 ) close to the floor surface of the carpet and initiate the brushing operation.
After the completion of the process, the pistons (18) pull the conveyor group (16.1) away from the carpet surface by pulling upwards.
The hand-knotted carpet washing machine is compatible with today's technology with its PLC control and touchscreen features and is easy to use. The washing process suitable for each carpet can be programmed in the system. A program suitable for the carpet to be washed is prepared.
The carpet is firstly secured on the washing table (15.1 ). The wetting and shampooing process is realized with the water and detergent nozzle group (11.4) on the scraper section (11). The shampoo is allowed to penetrate to the bottom of the carpet by back- and forth-movement with the help of the rake piston (11 .3).
Then, the washing process begins. In the washing section, carpet-slapping processes are applied by means of the brush-washing, rubbing, and beating section (14), respectively. Some hand-knotted carpets are very sensitive; depending on the characteristics of the carpets, the washing groups can be individually programmed to work or not.
The rake section is activated again and the scraping process is performed. At the same time, the water nozzles work, and the rinsing process is realized. Then, the color fixing chemical is sprayed from the rake section, rinsing is applied again with plenty of water and the washing process is finished.

Claims

1. A carpet washing machine (10) for proper and effective washing of the hand- knotted carpets comprising the main chassis (15), a washing table (15.1) arranged on said main chassis (15), a conveyor group (16.1 ) with a movable structure on this washing table (15.1), and a brushing section (12), characterized in that it comprises:
- a scraper (11.7) moving linearly by means of at least one engine group (11.1),
- a nozzle group (11 .4) enabling to transfer water and detergent on the carpet located along the positioning axis of said scraper (11 .7), and
- a scraper section (11) comprising the rake piston (11 .3) imposing movement to said scraper (11.7).
2. The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a beating section (14) having at least one engine (14.1) constituted of a number of beating dredgers (14.2) located along a mounting axis (x).

The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a control panel (19) which can be programmed with a washing process suitable for each carpet, with which a program suitable for a carpet to be washed is prepared, and which has a PLC control system and touchscreen of the hand-knotted carpet washing machine.
4. The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a rubbing section (13) comprising a rubbing engine (13.1) with a movable structure moving linearly along the mounting axis (x) by means of an engine located along the mounting axis (x).
5. The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises holder profiles (11.2) structured in the scraper section (11 ).

The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises an intermediate transfer member (118) structured between said scraper (11 .7) and rake piston (11 .3) and enabling movement transfer. The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises an engine group (11.1 ) having a drive gear (11.5) and a flat gear bearing (11.6) enabling forward and backward linear movement of the scraper section (11 ) as a group. The carpet washing machine (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises the main shaft and bearing members (11.10) bearing the axial movement of said scraper (11 .7).
