Definitions
- the present invention relates to a program update method for a gas compressor system that updates the program of the compressor while maintaining the supply of compressed gas at a predetermined pressure and flow rate.
- Gas compressors that compress air and other gases are known to have wired/wireless network communication functions. For example, through remote monitoring using a server system via communication functions, the operating status can be grasped in real time 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is automatically sent to shorten the downtime of equipment.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a program update method for a cooling system having a compressor that compresses a cooling medium, in which one of a plurality of device controllers is updated from one control program according to instructions from an integrated controller. Discloses that an update to another control program (“UD control program”) is performed.
- UD control program another control program
- Programs that operate gas compressors and programs that are used to monitor the above-mentioned operating status are updated on-site by service workers directly to the fluid machinery in accordance with the timing of non-working days and fluid machinery stoppages at the user's factory. It is implemented by loading the update program, and there is a problem that it takes time and cost. In this regard, it is possible to send an update program from a remote server to the fluid machine using the above-described monitoring function, etc. to automatically update the program, but the program update process requires stopping and restarting the fluid machine. There is also a problem that the supply of compressed gas is stopped during this time.
- a plurality of gas compressors having a gas compressor main body and a control device for controlling the gas compressor main body by cooperation of a program and an arithmetic device, a discharge piping system connected to each of the plurality of compressed gases, and the plurality of and a management device for controlling the control device of the gas compressor, wherein at least one of the pressure and flow rate of the gas discharged from the discharge piping system is supplied based on a predetermined value.
- the program updating method for a gas compressor system includes the step of driving the gas compressor other than the operating compressor to be updated of the program according to the predetermined value.
- FIG. 5 is a flow chart showing an example of control according to the first embodiment
- FIG. 11 is a flow chart showing a control example according to the second embodiment
- FIG. 11 is a flow diagram showing a control example according to the third embodiment
- FIGS. 1 and 2 The first embodiment will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the same reference numerals are given to common parts, and redundant description may be omitted as appropriate.
- the configuration of the gas compressor system 50 is shown in FIG.
- the gas compressor system 50 includes a plurality of gas compressors, a first gas compressor 5, a second gas compressor 6, and a third gas compressor 7, a number control device 2 for controlling these, and a management system.
- a server 1 and a management terminal 3 are provided.
- the management server 1, the number-of-units control device 2, and the management terminal 3 are connected via a wired or wireless communication network 4, and are configured to be capable of communicating various control commands and feedback of control results.
- the first gas compressor 5, the second gas compressor 6, and the third gas compressor 7 each include a compressor main body to which various types such as displacement type and centrifugal type can be applied.
- Each gas compressor is, for example, an air compressor that sucks atmospheric air and produces compressed air.
- a discharge piping system is connected to the first gas compressor 5 , the second gas compressor 6 , and the third gas compressor 7 . Compressed air from each gas compressor merges in the discharge piping system to provide the user with compressed air having a predetermined pressure and air volume. It should be noted that this embodiment can be applied to any configuration of a constant speed machine, a variable speed machine, or a mixture of these as each gas compressor.
- the first gas compressor 5, the second gas compressor 6, and the third gas compressor 7 have a control function part by a calculation part and a program cooperating with this, and start each gas compressor , stop and various operation control can be performed. Further, the control function unit has a rewritable volatile and/or nonvolatile memory, and can store an update program in a program update process to be described later.
- the number control device 2 has an arithmetic unit and a control function unit cooperating with this, and controls the first gas compressor 5, the second gas compressor 6, and the third gas compressor 6 via a wired or wireless communication line. It is a device that manages the operation schedule of the gas compressor 7 .
- the operation schedule includes the number of gas compressors to be operated and the order of operation. For example, according to the pressure and amount of compressed air discharged from the discharge piping system, a command is sent to each gas compressor, and the number of compressors to be started and operated is set to 1 or 3, or a predetermined number of gas compressors is stopped or is set to no-load operation.
- the number control device 2 also has a processing function of updating the control program of each gas compressor according to a program update processing command from the management server 1, which will be described later.
- the management server 1 is a server device having an arithmetic unit and a control function unit that cooperates therewith.
- the management terminal 3 is a terminal device that has an arithmetic unit and a control function unit that cooperates therewith and provides an input device and an output device for various types of information to the administrator of the gas compressor system.
- the management server 1 and the management terminal 3 have a processing function of updating the control program of each gas compressor, which will be described later.
- the management server 1 and the management terminal 3 are described as being separate units, but the functions of both may be integrated.
- the communication network 4 is a network consisting of various wired/wireless communication formats such as LAN, BAN, Internet, and the like.
- the management server 1 requests the number control device 2 to acquire the current version information of the program stored in each gas compressor, and acquires the current version information of the program. Even if the program version information of each gas compressor is stored in the number control device 2, the number control device 2 appropriately acquires the current version information stored in the memory of each gas compressor. Any of the aspects may be used.
- the management server 1 compares the versions of the acquired current compressor program and determines whether or not there is an update. If there is update content, the management server 1 causes the management terminal 3 to output an update guide and information on whether or not the update is executable, and the process proceeds to S103. If there is no updated content, the status quo is maintained (S111).
- S103 if the answer from the management terminal 3 is "YES (update execution)", the management server 1 proceeds to the processing of S104. If the answer from the management terminal 3 is "NO (updating is not possible)", the management server 1 advances to S112, waits for the update, and performs the management again at an arbitrary time (fixed time interval or random time interval). The terminal 3 outputs update guidance and information on whether or not it can be executed, and waits for a reply.
- "in operation" of the gas compressor includes stop and no-load operation.
- the management server 1 displays guidance A or B below on the management terminal 3 and waits for an answer.
- A "Currently, the machine to be updated is in operation. Is it okay if we switch the operation of the stopped gas compressor for the update?"
- B "Is it okay if we automatically switch the driving machine and the stopping machine for updating?” That is, the management server 1 stops the gas compressor other than the gas compressor to be updated among the first gas compressor 5, the second gas compressor 6, and the third gas compressor 7. If it is in operation, the management terminal 3 displays the guidance of A, and if all the gas compressors are in operation, the guidance of B is displayed. That is, while the gas compressor system is in operation, there is no need to stop the supply of compressed air due to updating the program.
- the management server 1 proceeds to S105 (if all the gas compressors are in operation, stop the gas compressor to be updated). After it becomes possible to do so, the process proceeds to S105.). If the answer to A or B is "NO" (S113: NO), the management server 1 proceeds to the process of S115, specifies an update time or transmits update guidance to the management terminal 3 at arbitrary intervals, The process proceeds to S105 at the specified time or when the update instruction is answered.
- the management server 1 performs program update processing for the update target compressor. If there is an update time specified in S113, the update process is performed at that time, or if there is an update execution command from the management terminal 3, the update process is performed.
- Example 2 will be described.
- the gas compressor to be updated is "in operation", that is, in full speed operation and no-load operation, the operation is switched to another stopped gas compressor or the operation is switched to another gas compressor.
- the program is updated when switching becomes possible.
- the program update of the compressor to be updated and which is stopped or in no-load operation is performed first.
- FIG. 3 shows the processing flow of the second embodiment.
- S213 differs from S113 in the first embodiment
- the second embodiment will be described in particular with respect to this step. .
- the management server 1 which determines in S104 that the gas compressor to be updated is not stopped (S104: NO), displays guidance C or D below on the management terminal 3 and waits for an answer.
- C "The machine to be updated is currently in operation. Is it okay if we start the update from other gas compressors that are stopped or in no-load operation?"
- D "Is it okay if we change the update order of the operating machine and the stopped machine for the update?" If the answer to C or D above is "YES" (S213: YES), the management server 1 proceeds to S105 (if the other gas compressor is in no-load operation, stop the gas compressor). After it becomes possible to perform the operation, the process proceeds to S105.). Also, the management server 1 does not have an answer to the above C or D. In the case of "NO” (S213: NO), the process proceeds to S115, the designation of the update time or the update guidance is transmitted to the management terminal 3 at arbitrary intervals, and the process proceeds to S105 at the specified time or when the update instruction is answered.
- the management server 1 performs program update processing for the update target compressor. If the update time is specified in S113, the update process is performed at that time. Alternatively, when there is an update execution command from the management terminal 3, the update processing is executed.
- No-load operation is generally performed when the required pressure and air volume at the demand destination of the compressed air through the discharge piping system are met. Therefore, even if the gas compressor during no-load operation is stopped, it can be said that the supply of compressed air to the demand side can be continued. In this manner, the present embodiment can efficiently perform program update processing without stopping the supply of compressed air.
- Example 3 will be described.
- the gas compressor to be updated is "in operation", that is, in full speed operation and no-load operation, the operation is switched to another stopped gas compressor or the operation is switched to another gas compressor.
- the program is updated when switching becomes possible.
- the program update of the gas compressor to be updated and which is stopped or in no-load operation is performed first.
- the compressor to be updated when the gas compressor to be updated is in full-load operation and all the compressors to be updated are in full-load operation, the compressor to be updated that was previously stopped or operated without load.
- FIG. 4 shows the processing flow of the third embodiment.
- S313, S314, and S315 are mainly different in the third embodiment from those in the first or second embodiment, the steps will be described in particular, and common parts are denoted by the same reference numerals. and the description may be omitted as appropriate.
- the management server 1 having determined in S104 that the gas compressors to be updated are not stopped (S104: NO), determines whether all the gas compressors are in full load operation. If all machines are in full-load operation (S313: YES), the process proceeds to S314. If there is a gas compressor that is stopped or in no-load operation (S313: NO), the management server 1 proceeds to S105 and executes program update processing for the gas compressor that is stopped or in no-load operation.
- the management server 1 displays guidance for E or F below on the management terminal 3 and waits for an answer.
- E "Currently, all machines to be updated are running at full load. Is it okay if we start with the gas compressor that has stopped or is in no-load operation first?”
- F "Is it okay if we start with the gas compressor that has been stopped or is in no-load operation for renewal?”
- S314: YES the management server 1 proceeds to S105 and updates the program of the gas compressor that is to be updated and that has stopped earlier. If the answer to E or F is "NO" (S314: NO), the management server 1 proceeds to S315 and displays on the management terminal 3 a request for specifying a time to update the program or guidance on updating at arbitrary time intervals. do. If there is a response of the specified time, the program is updated at the specified time, and if there is a request for program update, the update is performed immediately.
- the program when there is no other gas compressor that is stopped or in no-load operation, the program can be updated from the first gas compressor that has stopped or been in no-load operation. It is possible to efficiently update the program of the gas compressor while maintaining the supply of air from the gas compressor.
- the configuration of the gas compressor system has been described as a form in which the management server 1, the number control device 2, and the management terminal 3 control communication via the communication network 4, but these are functionally integrated. It may be configured as follows.
- an air compressor is illustrated as a gas compressor, but the present invention can also be applied to compressor systems that compress other media.
