Abstract
Car wheel hub, replacement ball bearing model is achieved by manufacturing a kind of rear wheel hub and ball bearing from Peugeot family cars; that is, by changing the grinding stage of the curved mode by the ball bearing assembly method; The wheel hub is produced with the assembled race, separate from the hub body and the axle. Due to the need for very high technology in the field of curved grinding inside the part and the need for very high accuracy, the part is offered in the market from China at a very high price. Therefore, to solve these problems, we followed the change of technology of the above part. After continuous effort, trial, and error, and performing experiments, finally succeeded in designing a new sample of this component, which is much cheaper and can be produced in the country with the available facilities.
Description
Description
Title Of Invention: CAR WHEEL HUB, REPLACEMENT BALL
BEARING MODEL
[0001] [This statement has been prepared on January 7, 2021 based on
No.139950140003008989 local statement filed with the Iranian Intellectual Property Organization (IRIPO).
Technical Field
[0002] The claimed invention is a wheel hub for automobiles whose technology is related to mechanics.
Background Art
[0003] Wheel bearings are a set of steel balls that are joined together in a metal ring and are called race. In the center of the car wheels, there is a hollow piece of metal, called a hub. The wheel bearings fit tightly into the hub and mount on the metal axle, helping to reduce friction as the wheel rotates. These types of bearings are different from motor bearings because there is no fixed lubrication source for the wheel bearings, which means that they need to be strong enough to protect against water and dust on the road. They also support the total weight of the car while driving. The hub is located between the drum or brake discs and the drive axle. The wheel is screwed on it. The end of the ball is equipped with thread and it depends on its construction and type. They are connected to the shaft threads. The axle hub rotates with the wheels - which are screwed together - and provides the force for the wheel to rotate. The roller bearing, which is located between the hub axis and the shaft axis, allows non-actuated wheels to rotate easily. On the axle side, the retaining bracket is mounted to the chassis.
On the side of the disc, the wheel is mounted to the bolts of the hub. When replacing, a set of wheel hubs must comply with the vehicle specifications to prevent damage.
[0004] The main difference between the two aforesaid, is in how they are assembled. Wheel bearings can be disassembled, lubricated and reassembled for reuse. The ball bearings are packaged in the factory and sold as a complete set and then installed. Ball bearings cannot be disassembled for re-lubrication, but must be replaced. The wheel hubs are located in the center of the car wheels. In particular,
you can place them between the drive shaft and the brake drums. Basically, wheel hub assemblies are used to attach the wheel to the car body. This set includes ball bearings that allow the wheels to rotate smoothly and efficiently. The wheel hub is a mechanism in which the wheel rotates around it. The wheel is mounted on a hub and its ball bearing are placed on the hub. In some cars, speed sensors are also attached to the wheel hub. Without a wheel hub, the car will not move well and steering performance will be poor symptoms of wheel hub failure:
[0005] The vibration of the steering wheel: In most cases, when the steering wheel vibrates, the problem is that the plastics rot or the shock absorbers break down.
[0006] But when the problem is caused by the wheel hub, one of its clamps has fallen or the ball bearing has been severely damaged If the screws are not in place correctly, the steering wheel may vibrate.
[0007] Wheel sounds: If you hear the sound of something getting stuck, clicking, or jumping out of the wheels, the wheel hub must have a problem. These sounds are probably due to the looseness of the wheel hub and are mostly heard in the sharp corners of the road.
[0008] Brake problems: If the rotor gets stuck or the pads wear out, the brakes will have a problem. But loose ball bearing can also cause problems with braking, such as pulling or getting stuck.
[0009] There is no similar case of the claimed invention in Iran or abroad.
Technical Problem
[0010] Whereas for 20 years, "Hasel Chin" company has been the manufacturer of front and rear axles and hubs for all kinds of cars in the country, and this company has about 90% of the market supply of these parts, unfortunately, due to the very high technology in the curved grinding section inside the part and the very high accuracy, the mentioned parts are inevitably imported from China. The production of these parts in the mentioned form requires the import of very advanced and expensive machines, which in the current economic conditions and the import of production line equipment to produce the main part, has no economic justification for the company or economic activists. It is imported from other countries and is offered in the market at a very high price. Therefore, these
parts are still imported from other countries and are offered at a very high price in the market. Therefore, the technical engineering unit of the Hasel Chin company has been seeking to change the technology of the above-mentioned parts with various methods and designs for a long time. After years of continuous effort, trial and error, the company finally succeeded in designing and producing a new and low-cost type of these parts, using the facilities and equipment of this company. Fortunately, these parts have passed their field tests well and it can be a great replacement for these imported parts.
Solution to Problem
[0011] Due to the fact that this part has been supplied from foreign countries for a long time, after mass production of this part in Iran and due to the problems of the country in this field, therefore, the main objectives of this invention are to help produce, create jobs and prevent the outflow of currency from the country. Other goals include easy consumer access to the lower-priced part and the transformation of expensive technology into a cheaper one, with a practical application method as well as lower investment.
[0012] Alternative car wheel hub with ball bearing and race inside the hub model is a hub that contains two replaceable stuffing boxes and can be used for cars, and it is an alternative to the ball bearing model and inner races. One of the parts that need the most replacement or repair is the axle hub of the car, which is usually referred to as mechanical wheel ball bearing failure. In addition, the main reason for the failure of this part is due to the ball bearing or loose ball bearing. These parts are complementary sections of the hub and axle; Mechanics also usually tell the consumer, after fixing the problem, that your wheel bearing is damaged and replaced; at the same timer, these mechanics often replace the entire wheel hub or axle on which the ball bearing is mounted. Because the mechanics cannot even dismantle the ball bearing from the hub, and they can damage the axle or the hub with a chipping hammer, and inevitably replace the entire set of ball and bearing, in this way, they inevitably replace the entire hub and ball bearing assembly. (In the bearing factory, the ball bearing is assembled by pressing and heating parts with very high accuracy.)
[0013] The total cost of the consumer or car owner due to the replacement of the above parts is a maximum of 150,000 - 200,000 Tomans. This is a reasonable
amount, but in the case of the rear hub of the car, its ball bearing is inside the hub, unfortunately, this part is completely imported. The current price of a ball with a rear hub is a maximum of 700,000 Tomans. Complete replacement of the rear hub, including the mechanic's salary, imposes a cost of about one million Tomans for the car owner. In the claimed invention, the whole hub no longer needs to be replaced and only the ball bearings can be easily replaced.
