Abstract

A LIDAR system defining a first axis and a second axis is provided. The LIDAR system includes a first plurality of emitters and a second plurality of emitters. At least one of the first plurality of emitters is configured to emit a first laser beam at a first wavelength. Additionally, at least one of the second plurality of emitters is configured to emit a second laser beam at a second wavelength that is different than the first wavelength. The LIDAR system includes an optic configured to direct the first laser beam and the second laser beam in different directions to widen a field of view of the LIDAR system along the second axis.
