Description

Rear carrier
The present invention relates to a rear carrier that supports luggage attached to the main surface (rear surface of the vehicle) of the back door (also referred to as a rear door) of a one-box car.
Conventionally, a roof carrier is often used when attaching luggage to the outside of a vehicle. If the vehicle is a one-box car, the height of the vehicle may be too high to reach from the ground when trying to attach luggage to the roof, so steps, stepladders, etc. must be used. If the luggage is attached using a stepladder, the stepladder cannot be attached to the roof.
Therefore, in addition to the roof carrier, the one-box car uses a rear carrier that can attach luggage to the back door.
The carrier disclosed in Patent Document 1 mounts an article storage box by hooking a vehicle fixture in the vertical direction of the back door.
The carrier disclosed in Patent Document 2 includes a housing body that receives and holds an article from above, a hanging member that supports the storage body in a suspended state on a back door, and a housing body that is detachably fixed to the outside of the back door. It consists of a fixing member, and the housing body is attached to the outside of the back door.
However, since the carriers disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 all use a mounting tool or a hooking member that hooks in the vertical direction of the back door, the mounting tool or the hooking member is once mounted at a predetermined position on the back door. If the article storage box or the storage body is attached after that, the license plate and tail lamp may be hidden. In this case, the mounting position of the mounting tool or the hooking member had to be shifted so that the license plate or the like could be seen, which made the re-mounting work complicated.
Further, the carrier disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 is box-shaped, may obstruct the rear view, and may not be able to accommodate a long object such as a stepladder or ski.

(Rear carrier 10)
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the rear carrier of the present invention fixed to the back door. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the upper frame. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the lower frame and the arm.
As shown in the figure, the rear carrier 10 of the present invention is a carrier that supports the luggage 3 attached to the main surface of the back door 2 of the one-box car 1, and is hooked on both sides above the back door 2 at a predetermined distance from the main surface. And fix it horizontally, and fix it side by side with the upper frame 20 that supports the upper part of the luggage 3 and the upper frame 20 that touches both sides below the back door 2 and keeps a predetermined distance from the main surface. It has a lower frame 30 that supports the lower part of the luggage 3, and an arm 40 that extends in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the lower frame 30 and supports the lower surface of the luggage 3. The upper frame 20 and the lower frame 30 have a frame bar (upper frame bar 22, lower frame bar 32) extending in the horizontal direction of the main surface, and a support portion for supporting both ends of the frame bar and the side of the back door 2. It has stays (upper stay 26, lower stay 36) having a fixing portion that is hooked or fixed to the side.
[Upper frame 20]
The upper frame 20 has an upper frame bar 22 extending in the horizontal direction of the main surface of the back door 2, a support portion 27 supporting both ends of the upper frame bar 22, and a fixing portion 28 hooked on the side sides of the back door 2. It has an upper stay 26 having the above.
(Upper frame bar 22)
The upper frame bar 22 is a long metal rod member having a predetermined strength extending in the horizontal direction of the main surface of the back door 2. The cross-sectional shape of the upper frame bar 22 is formed to have a central rectangle and a concave portion 23 facing each other with the central rectangle in between (see FIG. 5). The recess 23 provided on the opposite surface of the frame bar is provided with a slit 24 at the center along the longitudinal direction. The recess 23 is a place where the head of the mounting bolt 27b of the support portion 27, which will be described later, is accommodated, and the slit 24 is a place where the shaft portion of the mounting bolt 27b of the support portion 27, which will be described later, protrudes. It is set longer than the diameter of the shaft and shorter than the opposite side of the head.
(Upper stay 26)
The upper stay 26 has a support portion 27 that supports both ends of the upper frame bar 22 and a fixing portion 28 that is hooked on the side side of the back door 2. FIG. 4 is an explanatory view of mounting the upper stay. FIG. 5 is an explanatory view of mounting the upper frame bar.
The fixing portion 28 has a hook 28a that is hooked on the side end portion of the back door 2, a base 28b that contacts the main surface of the back door 2, and a tightening bolt 28c that tightens the hook 28a and the base 28b.
The support portion 27 has a mounting hole 27a provided on the upper surface of the upper stay 26, a mounting bolt 27b screwed into the mounting hole 27a, and a cap 27c covering the end portion of the upper frame bar 22.
The upper frame 20 having such a configuration is hooked by sandwiching the side side of the back door 2 between the hook 28a and the base 28b of the fixing portion 28 of the upper stay 26. After that, the tightening bolt 28c is tightened and fixed. After fixing the upper stay 26 in the horizontal direction on both sides of the back door 2, the slit 24 of the upper frame bar 22 is aligned with the mounting hole 27a of the support portion 27 of the upper stay 26 and tightened with the mounting bolt 27b to fix it. .. Further, caps 27c are fitted to both ends of the upper frame bar 22. As a result, the upper frame bar 22 can be attached to the main surface of the back door 2 at a predetermined interval.
The mounting location of the upper frame 20 can be set to an arbitrary location above the back door 2. At this time, the lateral (horizontal) length of the back door 2 may be shortened upward. Even in such a case, the slit 24 of the upper frame bar 22 can be displaced to an arbitrary position along the longitudinal direction of the frame bar, so that the mounting becomes extremely easy.
Further, when the mounting position of the upper frame 20 is fixed, the upper frame bar 22 may be a bar member having a mounting hole without a slit.
Further, a flexible molding 29 is fitted in the slit 24 in which the mounting bolt 27b is not inserted.
[Lower frame 30]
Similar to the upper frame 20, the lower frame 30 includes a lower frame bar 32 extending in the horizontal direction of the main surface of the back door 2, a support portion 37 supporting both ends of the lower frame bar 32, and the back door 2. It has a lower stay 36 having a fixing portion 38 fixed to the side side.
(Lower frame bar 32)
Like the upper frame bar 22, the lower frame bar 32 is a long metal rod member having a predetermined strength and extending in the horizontal direction of the main surface of the back door 2. The cross-sectional shape of the lower frame bar 32 is formed to have a central rectangle and recesses 33 facing each other with the central rectangle in between (see FIG. 6). The recess 33 provided on the opposite surface of the frame bar is provided with a slit 34 at the center along the longitudinal direction. The recess 33 is a place where the head of the mounting bolt 42b of the arm 40 described later is accommodated, the slit 34 is a place where the shaft portion of the mounting bolt 42b of the arm 40 described later protrudes, and the width of the slit 34 is the shaft portion. It is set longer than the diameter of the head and shorter than the opposite side dimension of the head.
(Lower stay 36)
FIG. 6 is an explanatory view of mounting the lower stay and the lower frame bar. The lower stay 36 protrudes from the main surface of the back door 2 (extends in the vertical direction) and has a fixing portion 38 on the main surface side and a support portion 37 on the tip side, and the lower stay 36 is mainly from the lower surface of the side plate 36a. It is equipped with a strut 36b that extends and contacts along the surface.
The side plate 36a is a support plate having a substantially triangular shape when viewed from the side of the back door 2, and has a fixing portion 38 on the back door 2 side and a support portion 37 on the tip end side in a direction away from the back door 2. .. Since the side plate 36a is set so that the side on the back door 2 side is longer than the side supporting the lower frame bar 32, the side plate 36a can maintain the strength against the load 3 of a predetermined weight and avoid deformation. Further, due to the form of the tension 36b extending downward from the lower surface of the side plate 36a, the side on the back door 2 side is further lengthened, and the contact area can be increased on the side surface and the main surface of the back door 2, so that the strength is maintained. Can avoid deformation.
The fixing portion 38 is provided with a mounting hole 38a into which a mounting bolt 4a of a stabilizer 4 (a rigid member that fills a gap between the vehicle body and the back door 2) on the side side of the back door 2 is fitted.
The support portion 37 includes a side lock 37a that covers the end of the lower frame bar 32, a mounting bolt 37b and a nut 37c of the side lock 37a, and a mounting hole 37d.
In the lower frame 30 having such a configuration, the mounting bolt 4a of the stabilizer 4 is loosened and removed, the mounting hole of the stabilizer 4 and the mounting hole 38a of the fixing portion 38 are aligned, and the mounting bolt 4a is tightened again to stabilize the stabilizer 4. The lower stay 36 can be fixed to the mounting location of. In other words, the mounting positions of the stabilizer 4 and the lower stay 36 can be shared. After aligning the mounting holes of the side locks 37a that support both ends of the lower frame bar 32 with the mounting holes 37d of the support portion 37, they are tightened and fixed with the mounting bolts 37b and nuts 37c. The lower frame bar 32 can be attached to the main surface of the back door 2 at a predetermined interval.
In addition to using the mounting bolts and mounting holes of the stabilizer 4, the lower stay 36 may be hooked on the side surface of the back door 2 in the same manner as the upper stay 26.
Further, a flexible molding 39 is fitted in the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32 which does not face the back door 2.
[Arm 40]
The lower frame 30 includes an arm 40 extending in a direction orthogonal to the axis (of the lower frame bar 32) to support the lower surface of the load 3. FIG. 7 is an explanatory view of mounting the arm. The arm 40 shown in FIG. 7 has a U-shape and has a rotating portion 42 at an end thereof. The rotating portion 42 has a base 42a, a mounting bolt 42b, and a nut 42c. The base 42a is provided with a mounting hole 42d facing the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32. Further, the base 42a is provided with a shaft 42f that switches while rotating to the horizontal position (position where the luggage 3 is loaded) and the vertical position (position where the luggage 3 is not loaded) of the arm 40, and is a fitting lock that can be fixed at the horizontal position and the vertical position. It is provided with a portion 42 g.
The arm 40 having such a configuration accommodates the mounting bolt 42b in the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32, aligns the mounting hole 42d, and screws the nut 42c. After that, it can be moved to an arbitrary position of the lower frame bar 32 and finally tightened to fix the nut 42c. When attaching the luggage 3 to the back door 2, the arm 40 can be rotated horizontally, tilted down, and fixed by the lock portion 42g for mounting. After the luggage 3 is unloaded, the arm 40 is rotated in the vertical direction to raise it. As a result, it is not necessary to remove the arm 40 from the lower frame 30 when the luggage 3 is not loaded and is not in use.
FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram of the arm of the modified example 1. As shown in the figure, the arm 40A of the modified example 1 has a base 41, a mounting bolt and a wing nut 41a, and a mounting hole 43 in the main body of the arm 40. When the arm 40A is horizontally attached to the lower frame bar 32 (with luggage 3) by such a configuration, the attachment hole (not shown) of the base 41 is aligned with the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32, and the attachment bolt and Tighten and fix with the wing nut 41a. On the other hand, when the arm 40A is attached to the lower frame bar 32 in the vertical direction (without luggage 3), the arm 40A is raised and the attachment hole 43 of the arm 40 main body is aligned with the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32 to align the attachment bolt and the attachment bolt. Tighten and fix with the wing nut 41a.
FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram of the arm of the modified example 2. As shown in the figure, the arm 40B of the modified example 2 has a base 44 as an expansion / contraction part, a mounting bolt and a wing nut 45, a plurality of mounting holes 46 of the main body of the arm 40, and a position facing the mounting hole 46 in the base 44. It has a fixing pin 47. When the arm 40B is horizontally attached to the lower frame bar 32 by such a configuration (with luggage 3), the attachment hole (not shown) of the base 44 is aligned with the slit 34 of the lower frame bar 32, and the attachment bolt and Tighten and fix with the wing nut 45. When the luggage 3 is not loaded, the fixing pin 47 of the base 44 is released, the arm 40B is pushed to the back door 2 side, the amount of protrusion to the vehicle side is reduced, and the arm 40B is locked to the mounting hole 46 with the fixing pin 47.
