Abstract
An elastic fixing unit (10) for face masks is described, which comprises: a support element (1); fixing means (2) configured for pressure tightening a portion (4) of an elastic (3) of the mask, keeping it locked between the fixing means (2) and the support element (1).
Description
ELASTIC FIXING UNIT FOR FACE MASKS
The present invention refers to an elastic fixing unit for masks , in part icular for medical masks .
In particular, the invention refers to a bandtype support comprising a particular opening/toothing that allows you to fix the elastic of a medical mask to adapt it to dif ferent types of users .
Masks are known which include elastic bands for fitting them which however present the problem of often causing pain or, in more serious cases , skin lesions to the ear tis sue , of not always guaranteeing the correct positioning of the mask and of not making it adaptable to dif ferent type s of user .
Articulated structures of adjustable and/or modular rigid members or element s for connecting said elastic bands are also known .
However, said known connection structures have the problem of being complex to manufacture and of
having high costs.
Object of the present invention is providing an elastic fixing unit for masks, in particular medical masks, which is simple to make, inexpensive, comfortable to wear and effective, which allows said masks to be put on correctly in order to avoid the dispersion of agents, pathogens, such as bacteria or viruses, thus ensuring greater sealing and safety.
A further object of the present invention is providing an elastic fixing unit for templates capable of adapting the template to different types of users .
The aforementioned and other objects and advantages of the invention, which will emerge from the following description, are achieved with an elastic fixing unit for masks such as the one described in the main claim. Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variants of the present invention form the subject of the dependent claims.
It is understood that the attached claims form an integral part of the present description.
It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modifications (for example relating to shape, dimensions, arrangements
and part s with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .
The present invention will be better described by a preferred embodiment , provided by way of nonlimiting example , with reference to the attached drawings , in which Figure 1 shows a top view of the elastic fixing unit for masks according to the present invention .
Referring to the Figure , a preferred embodiment of the elastic fixing unit 10 for masks according to the invention is illustrated and described which comprises : a support element 1 , for example of the band type ; fixing means 2 , for example of the clip type , configured to pres s-tight a portion 4 of an elastic 3 of the mask, keeping it locked between said fixing means 2 and said support element 1 ; in particular, said fastening means comprise a pas sive element and an active element configured to interlock when a force is exerted to couple them and separate when an opposite force is exerted, for example in the form of a pres s stud .
Preferably, said pas sive element comprises a cavity or an opening 2 , for example having a
circular or square shape , preferably formed in the support element 1 and configured to fit interlocking with a shaped pro j ection of the active element , blocking any portion 4 of the elastic 3 of the mask between said cavity 2 and said shaped protrusion and/or between said support element 1 and said shaped protrusion .
In an embodiment of the invention, the elastic fixing unit 10 for templates further comprises coupling means 5 , for example at least one toothed coupling element 5 preferably comprising a fold or an opening, said coupling means 5 being configured to hook the elastic 3 for the mask, said hooking means 5 being connected or fixed to a longitudinal edge of said support element 1 .
Preferably the fixing means 2 and/or the support element 1 and/or the coupling means 5 are made of rigid material , for example nylon, metal or plastic material .
Advantageously, the elastic fixing unit 10 for masks according to the invention allows for great reliability, ease of use and high flexibility of use .
