Abstract
An elastic fixing unit (10) for face masks is described, comprising: a support element (1) comprising hooking means (2) configured to hook an elastic (3) for face masks.
Description
ELASTIC FIXING UNIT FOR FACE MASKS The present invention refers to an elastic fixing unit for masks, in particular for medical masks. In particular, the invention refers to a band- type support comprising a particular opening/toothing that allows you to hook the elastic of a medical mask to adapt it to different types of users. Masks are known which include elastic bands for fitting them which however present the problem of often causing pain or, in more serious cases, skin lesions to the ear tissue, of not always guaranteeing the correct positioning of the mask and of not making it adaptable to different types of user. Articulated structures of adjustable and/or modular rigid members or elements for connecting said elastic bands are also known. However, said known connection structures have the problem of being complex to manufacture and of
having high costs.
Object of the present invention is providing an elastic fixing unit for masks, in particular medical masks, which is simple to make, inexpensive, comfortable to wear and effective, which allows said masks to be put on correctly in order to avoid the dispersion of agents, pathogens, such as bacteria or viruses, thus ensuring greater sealing and safety.
A further object of the present invention is providing an elastic fixing unit for templates capable of adapting the template to different types of users .
The aforementioned and other objects and advantages of the invention, which will emerge from the following description, are achieved with an elastic fixing unit for masks such as the one described in the main claim. Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variants of the present invention form the subject of the dependent claims.
It is understood that the attached claims form an integral part of the present description.
It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modifications (for example relating to shape, dimensions, arrangements
and part s with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .
The present invention will be better described by a preferred embodiment , provided by way of nonlimiting example , with reference to the attached drawings , in which :
- Figure 1 shows a top view of the elastic fixing unit for masks according to the present invention ;
- Figure 2 shows a top view of an embodiment of the elastic f ixing unit for masks according to the present invention ; and
- Figure 3 shows a top view of an embodiment of the elastic f ixing unit for masks according to the present invention .
With reference to the Figures , a preferred embodiment of the elastic fixing unit 10 for templates according to the invention is illustrated and described, and comprises : a support element 1 , for example of the band type , comprising hooking means 2 , for example at least one toothed hooking element preferably comprising a fold or an opening, said hooking means 2 being configured to hook an
elastic 3 for a template , said hooking means 2 being connected or fixed to a longitudinal edge of said support element 1 .
Preferably, the coupling means 2 and/or the support element 1 are made of rigid material , for example nylon, metal or plastic material .
Preferably, the toothed coupling element 2 has a "V" , "U" , "C" or "Y" shape or a combination thereof and is made of rigid material , for example nylon, metal or material plastic, so as to allow the elastic 3 of a mask to be hooked to said toothed hooking element 2 .
The toothed coupling element 2 includes a reces s 5 into which the elastic 3 of the mask is inserted to allow adequate connection of the support element 1 to the elastic 3 .
In an embodiment of the invention, said support element 1 can take the form of a customized design which reproduces for example one of the shapes shown in Figures 2 and 3 , comprising suitable hooking means 2 , for example at least one toothed hooking element .
Advantageously, the elastic fixing unit 10 for masks according to the invention allows for great
reliability, ease of use and high flexibility of use .
